Yeah, make it a triple threat. Now ask yourself, who would The Undertaker go against? Face facts people, a triple threat match with Triple H, The Rock, and Steve Austin was meant not to take place. I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy the way it went. Taker vs Triple H was a great match. But I believe the topic was about Triple H vs Rock vs Austin, and I personally think that would have been a great WM main event. And looking back, the best set up for it would have been going into WM17 IMO. Without dissecting the entire card I'm sure they would have found Taker an opponent. With a few things changed, he could have faced Angle, Benoit, Jericho, or Guerrero. All four are guys Taker never faced at WM and all would have helped him put on a great match. We're all just fantasy booking here, no point in taking it so seriously. Let's dissect this here: - Both Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit were too busy wanting to be who is the best submission based wrestler - Chris Jericho and William Regal were busy with their own stuff - Eddie Guerrero, not a chance. By default, the only guy who you could have paired The Undertaker with is Triple H. I should mention that Steve Austin stated he isn't a big fan of triple threat matches. Face it, Triple H/The Rock/Steve Austin in one match was something people wanted to see but the "wrestling gods" didn't want to see that. At this juncture of 'Taker's career, he wasn't putting on stellar matches. 'Taker didn't begin to have good matches after he dropped in weight and had his heel run in 2001-2002. In all, Vince McMahon wanted to have Steve Austin and The Rock headline WrestleMania X-Seven and that is what we got. |

Are you planning on telling the others how wrong they were for wanting this match? Triple H & Taker was thrown together in a few short weeks before WM. I'm sure they could have done something similar with anyone else. But since we can't time travel or read minds, I guess we'll never know. I apologize greatly for playing along with the others. |

I personally would've loved a Triple Threat and don't think it was out of the question. Obviously others do.

You Think, Bashcrash Wiley. Austin vs Show at WrestleMania 2000 was the original plan before Austin got run over. Here's another note. Chyna was planned to beat Austin at Summerslam 1999 that would be embarrassing if that were to happen, having a woman win the WWF Championship. Chyna had potential man.

I never heard that Chyna garbage before. Yeah, I think Wrestlemania 2000 would've been perfect had Austin been healthy. Big Show could have went up against Undertaker or something (if he was healthy too). I hated the Fatal 4 Way "McMahon in every corner" crap and don't feel like Mick Foley should've been brought back for that match. Foley had retired the month prior and should've stayed gone. Foley has even said that himself. |
