Well... No need to look for the coupons anymore, as the guy in the original thread said its only for Barbies, Hot Wheels and Monster High. But I think champ used it on his lex Luger figure.. |

Week #8 in a row meeting a wrestler: 10/18 - Sweet Daddy Siki 10/25 - John Morrison 11/1 - Eugene 11/8 - Wade Barrett.... 11/9 - Dream Team 11/16 - Cryme Tyme 11/22 - Hurricane and Tatanka 11/29 - Evan Bourne! I met Evan Bourne at Santino's gym today. He was there for an indy event. I got there at around 6:30 (show starts at 7) and they were starting to let people in. A decent sized crowd was there. Once I got in, I immediately found a seat and decided to wait until Evan Bourne would start signing autographs. Turns out, he's already signing! The ring announcer mentioned that there's a merch stand in the back and over there you can meet Matt Sydal. I didn't even notice the merch stand in the back lol. The merch stand had some Flexforce figures and nothing special. They also had a few Santino Marella autographs for sale lol.. Evan Bourne was charging $10 for his own 8x10, but I asked him how much he was charging for personal items and he said "I'll do it for free! I normally charge, but I'll sign it for you for free!" I thought that was pretty good. I tried to take a picture of Evan signing my book, as I do with every wrestler, but I missed and I took a picture of our shoes. Evan Bourne then laughed lol. He was in a GREAT mood and never stopped smiling once. He was incredibly friendly. I had asked the person behind me to take a picture for me. Once the picture was done, I thank the guy and thank Evan. After, I decided to go over to the side and get some more stuff out to get signed. I also took out $10 because he said he usually charges, but didn't today, and I didn't want to seem like I was taking advantage of him. I also checked my picture and it was blurry, so I also had to get that fixed for when I went back up to him. When I went back to him, I offered him the $10 and told him I don't mind paying a little something for more autographs and he said "don't worry about it! I am selling those pictures for $10 though!" I told him that I'd buy one so that he can get at least something out of signing my items for free and he said "good deal, man!" As he then signed the rest of my stuff, I ask if I can get a picture again and the other one came out blurry, and he said "of course!" He then went to the person behind me "excuse me! Can you please take a picture for us? He'll [as in me] return the favour for you!... Well, I can't promise that, but can you take the picture?" Evan Bourne was really friendly! After the picture was taken, I thanked him again and he thanked me for coming. I'm glad I missed out on meeting Evan a few weeks ago when he was late for the Squared Circle event. I would have had to pay $40 to meet Evan, but I only paid $30 to meet him today and even got 5 autographs!      Of course, I went to Value Villages and one Goodwill. No luck at all except for the very last Value Village, where I picked these up:   Thanks guys! |

Went to another superstore today and found the Mattel 5 dollar off coupons. Hopefully I find something I need before the end of December.

Finally found the last Corporate Kane BAF I needed (Daniel Bryan) at TRU in Regina, Sk today. Last one there too. He seems to be the toughest to get.

Does Superstore even sell WWE figures? Have they ever? How will a $5 coupon help without wwe figures, and how will it help get cheaper figures at TRU? They're not going to honour oupons from a different store.

^ its a Mattel manufacturers coupon, not a Superstore coupon. It just happens to be on the bulletin boards when u walk into the store.

^^^Lunchbox83- looks like we just missed each other today. Thanks to Jhtb I landed the Daniel bryan I needed to complete corporate Kane! Toys r us accepted the coupon without any questions. I also got up early to take advantage of the cyber Monday rsc sale. I ordered Natalya, basic steamboat and best of all I got the elite road warriors for 9.99 each!!! All together I grabbed 6 figures for 80 bucks shipped which is a pretty good deal considering some are elites. Just need to find Eric Rowan and I'm completely caught up with all my wants.

What a weird day...
Stopped in at Super Store to grab a few of those Matty coupons, which I found and promptly headed for TRU. Been waiting for them to restock, figured with Christmas right around the corner it would be any day. Last week they had a few Elite 26 Henry's, BAF Bearers and Exclusive HHH's. Wanders back to the boys section and....huh....must've moved to wrestling figures. Wandered through...couldn't find them. Asked THREE sales associates, all of whom looked at me like I as from outer space.
"No sir...don't think we've stocked WWE wrestling figures for quite some time."
Customer Service wasn't much better...told me I could order stuff online, and that I'd get free shipping.
What the heck is going on??!!

I really hope they get ANYTHING moving forward. I'm sure this is just a weird random happening, but the fact the whole WWE section is just strait-up gone (not moved or empty, just gone) is concerning, and has never happened in my experience.
It's already hard enough to find wrestling figs in Canada without TRU bailing on the line.

I am back to reducing my collection, one figure at a time. I have been updating the classifieds, using the bay, but I was wondering what stores in the GTA, if any, are worth the effort to try and sell at? We got Gamez maybe?
Oh, and last week at the TRU on Lawrence ave I actually managed to find me a Rocket Raccoon Legends figure. Holy crap.
