Killing everybody with Vader in Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 is a blast. Going through the roster in WWF War Zone for PS1 was one of the most enjoyable wrestling video game experiences I ever had as a kid. Killing everybody with Vader in ANY GAME is a blast.

Nah but you could make a decent Vader in the CAW mode.

I tend to like the 70's, 80's, and very early 90's era and their aren't many games that i truly think are great.
One of my favorites was Mat Mania and Mania Challenge back from 1986 arcade days. Controls were simply and these two games were and are still fun to play.
I like WWE 2k14 solely for the amazing wrestler and arena creations available online. I also like Fire Pro for the same reason and enjoy simming matches even more than actually playing the game.
In terms of random things happening, as far as I know, there are no wrestling video games that do that. I turn to Filsinger's Legends of wrestling card game most of the time. Unpredictable things happen and that keeps my interest going.

Way too much caring about entrances.

Mo mercy was overrated and I thought WWF WM 2000 was waaay better.
despite the graphics being crap, and no ring.. I actually thoguht it was fun playing WCW Backstage assault, after all if the game is fun the graphics should not matter..
I loved WCW thunder...I just loved being able to change the faction alignments and their look changed with it.

I've had more fun playing WWE Crush Hour than most main series games in recent memory.

The best game was the original SvR, great roster, royal rumbles were legendary, your own season mode that was miles better than HCTP and Brutus Beefcake was a playable character. Also the challenges were fun.

Here Comes The Pain owns a ton of hours of my life I'll never get back; I'm fine with that as it's probably my favourite...have yet to play WWE 2K15 though...

I don't hear it mentioned much but my favorite wrestling game for the NES was Tecmo world wrestling.

HCTP was fun as a kid.but its ridiculously unrealistic now that i can realize it. Then again this is an issue with most of the series. The Story Mode was absolutely amazing though.
Wrestlemania 19 was the funnest GameCube WWE game, WMX8 was good too.
Road to Wrestlemania was awesome.....all of them.

Did anyone here have that RAW PC game that came out in like 2002? I did. I loved it.

Yeah, it was ported from the X-Box. I just loved it for sheer ridiculousness. Boxes surrounding the ring during the match you break open...and there's a cactus or some other wacky thing in it you could use as a weapon. Oh, and Fred Durst.

You and I can agree that RAW for X-Box/PC was ahead of its time.

Anyone that hates GM mode probably never played the mode with a friend. It is absolutely amazing when you do that.
Hell even hooking up a second controller and booking both brands youself is damn fun if you do it properly.

A game that I still play to this day due to the roster is WWE Day of Reckoning gamecube. The storymode is kind of neat.

TNA iMPACT was horrendous. It did have good graphics though.
