I find No Mercy heavily overrated. Fun game, but there's been better ones since then.

WWE games went downhill fast after Smackdown vs Raw 2006.

People give sports games crap for being the same thing year after year...but seem to turn a blind eye to WWE games falling into the same hole.

my opinion is that people SHOULD HAVE known WWE2K15 wasn't going to be amazing
like it's so GLARINGLY obvious with an iota of thought that it wasn't going to be perfect, and yet they STILL complain

Shinsuke Nakamura is overrated.
He's a good wrestler - don't get me wrong - I enjoy his work. But he's not the Messiah that some people make him out to be.

Don't know if this is unpopular, but SVR11 RTWM is so much fun. WWE games took a slow downhill slope after that.

The Free Roam In Svr2011 is the best story mode in any wwe video game ever Tna Impact>Svr 2006
Day of Reckoning 1& 2> No Mercy

I've sat and watched people do this since WWE '12. This year will be no exception.

WWE 2K14 was the last game I remember actually enjoying. I used to love the Create A Story mode, so I get bored with 15 and 16 pretty easily due to the lack of that feature.

War Zone, at least the N64 version, is a decent game.

All of the RTwMs were really good. Also WCW/NWO Revenge didn't have that good of a grappling system.

Another unpopular opinion that I have is that I could not give a about the roster. I swear that is all 99 percent of the people care about on here. Praying that random mid carder A,B and C makes it into the game because that will make it awesome. I would take a much smaller roster of about 30 guys, but done really well. All with unique movesets, multiple attires, better animations and just more individuality. Rather than stacking the game with a ton of characters who play the same and do moves that they never would in a million years.

I think a bigger roster adds to replay value. 2008 can be a very fun game, but it does get old quicker than the other two.

Although 2008 does get old, it was the first SVR I bought with my own allowance so it holds a special place in my heart. And roster size really does matter, it gives so much replay value.

I miss interacting with the ringside environment like you could in SD vs Raw 08-11, eg:bouncing your opponent up & down on the ropes, fighting in the crowd area & banging your opponent's head on the announce table and on the ring steps
