He's grown on me and I like the idea of him coming back to a push, but I still don't get why everyone suddenly became huge Ryback supporters. I started liking him as he was getting over. At first when he was doing the squash matches, I disliked him, but then as he was getting over, I started getting entertained by him beating up jobbers and then when he got the major push.

I like Rybaxel and would rather not see them split to compete as singles again. I think the frat boy drinking buddies gimmick that was developing before Ryback's surgery was great. A tag team can be a little funny while still being a legitimate team in the ring. Look at NXT - most of their tag teams are pretty funny, but still look legit in the ring.
Pro wrestling is more enjoyable when it doesn't take itself too seriously. I think that's why I don't like Rusev, Orton or Cena. I guess when you get to the top you have to be serious all the time.

probably because he's not green as crap any more and wasn't so pushed to the gills that his weaknesses were exposed like they were in the get-go. it's not really a mystery - he got better and any doubts of his in ring work have passed. I understand that, it's part of why he's grown on me. It just seems that he's a case of "we love him when he's held back, hate him when he's pushed". Maybe I'm wrong. Welcome to WF. You new here?

Ryback is nothing but damaged goods. The timing on his ascension was off. When Ryback feuded with CM Punk in 2012, he was placed into a really tough spot. The WWE wanted Punk to keep the WWE Championship warm for The Rock. When the clouds faded away, the damage had been done for Ryback. Before Ryback comes in, they would have some serious damage control as well as overhauling his persona. The fans won't take to him as quickly as you may think.

When exactly did Cena start acting serious?

I'd like to see Ryback come back and beat the unstoppable Rusev, but Rusev got humiliated and got his ass handed to him on Raw so that's a bit "meh" now. He's grown on me and I like the idea of him coming back to a push, but I still don't get why everyone suddenly became huge Ryback supporters. I was always a Ryback fan man. I was so disgusted at what they did to him @ WM29.....just shows how out of touch Vince can be. Me too. After how badly the Katie Vick angle was received in 2002, having Mark Henry go to WrestleMania 29 and writhe around on top of a corpse that had been dead for about six months was pretty revolting.

So you can be big, and muscular; two big ticks on Vince's checklist, and impress lots of fans (myself included); have part of your repertoire involve the crowd but inevitably fall by the wayside....a shame, I like Ryback and hope there is a chance he can make some headway up the card again...not holding my breath though...

Me neither man.....I would love to see him rebuilt and put back on the right path...but I will be suprised if it happens

But none of my employers have ever made me writhe around on top of a corpse that had been dead for about six months, like WWE sickeningly made Henry do that night. Although I live in constant fear of it.

I'd have him interrupt Lana and Russev and have a couple PPV matches with the Bulgarian Brute. He'd obviously lose, but it'd be good for him to come back and have a solid feud.

But meh, maybe they can still get another 10-20 years Outta Cena. At least that's the way they are planning it.

Ryback was alive fresh exciting Yes, he was, and then he died to a Brad Maddox lowblow. And six months later, after CM Punk and The Shield spent the whole time flogging the corpse for giggles, WWE made Mark Henry dance with it at WrestleMania. It was disgusting. Then it came back to life briefly: And then it died again, in the cell, again.

You sure the second time wasn't through the roof of an ambulance? Lol he'd have needed to be resurrected first. There was no resurrection between the cell and the ambulance, so it was just the same old corpse from the cell that went through the roof of an ambulance. Then came back to life a few weeks later, then died again.
