I knew that the reason that the TNA Samoa Joe and Mick Foley figures were tall is because they use the old Umaga mold, but the thing is, I don't remember Umaga being so tall anyway... I just got his Deluxe Aggression figure and it seems almost as tall as the Mick Foley and Samoa Joe ones and I can see they're the same mold but why did Jakka originally make the Umaga figure Big Show height anyway? The man wasn't that tall in real life was he?

Why was Rey Mysterio tall as Undertaker? Because they said " scaling."

The torso (and possibly upper legs, I don't remember exactly) were originally used for Big Show.

Umaga wasn't the only one to be out of scale, but then again, it's Jakks.

Remember how huge Paul London and Brian Kendrick were? ha
JAKKS are much better for playing than Mattel though, more durable.

Indeed, those figs really are a bit much, but notices those are the only figs that arent ripped n muscular. But in all fairness, I dont recall anyone really scaling WWE figs before Mattel so we really cant use that arguement

Toybiz TNA figures had decent scale so Jakks should have done the same for wwe. What does what one company does have to do with the other? If a company with a lower budget can produce more accurate figures, I personally believe it was jakks obligation to give us a range of figures with a better scale.

Toy Biz's TNA line used parts from their other properties. AJ Styles's torso was used previously on their WCW Surfer Sting and their Marvel Legends Cyclops. And they came well after Jakks who had already set their scale standards for years. And they certainly weren't going to change their scale to match another company's line. They wouldn't even acknowledge it because they would want you to buy their versions.

That R went out the window after the third series, though.

Yeah, Got TNA Mick Foley and Samoa Joe a year ago, and they are way too tall. I can't animate with those figures.
