Wonder if Hogan has a new torso or does it reuse the rocks... Either way, a collectors dream figure. I'd easily pay 60 bucks for that. Hopefully the nwo version soon follows.
Closer inspection shows that the hogan is currently using the rocks legs. They'll need to at least change the lower leg. Can't wait to see the finished product.

They sure do make a lot of junk, but those cages look pretty great.

My only complaint is that the blue cage goes to far inside the ring. Figures won't be able to be placed in between the ropes and the cage.

I think Im gonna get both cages and just sell the accessories from the current style. NWA used a mesh cage while WWF used the big blue, this way Ill have both.

WOWZERS!!.. must purchase the classic Blue Cage.. can someone tell me how i can get classic SummerSlam ring sirts, wm2 is a memory i would like to forget.... one of my fav memories in that classic BLUE CAGE was one of its final uses @ summerslam 1997 Triple H vs Mankind.. i was there live @ the meadowlands when MRS. Foley's Baby Boy stood atop the cage and channeled Snuka flying off crushin Hunter with a foley elbow!!!
another question, i think i know, but wanna be sure... so these sets do not come with a ring just cage and posts and turnbuckles and ropes.. which is great so the blue throwback will match and have blue steel posts and RED WHITE & BLUE ring Ropes..and i thought i saw blue steps...
if sum1 could answer those questions for me and give me any info such as approx release date i will be very grateful...
too bad we cant relive BRET VS OWEN from SummerSlam 94...but we can do MACHO KING and ZEUS vs Beefcake and HOGAN from main event i believe... ( jakks Zeus looks perfect next to mattel, keeps him super jakked!!)

( jakks Zeus looks perfect next to mattel, keeps him super jakked!!) Naparo can make the ringskirts for you. Im sure he's probably already got a set made. The cage accessory set comes with the cage, blue ring posts, 2 sets of skirts and steps. You have to buy the actual ESR/ASR separately.

Thanks Nivro.. now i understnd what the deal is... i was originally under the impression each came with a ring!!...so i am goin to purchase the Wicked ASR, then the wicked " CLASSIC CAGE" BLUE THROWBACK and get my hands on the red & white & blue ropes, blue steps... i just dont want the WM2 or wrestlefest ( freakin video game!) ring skirts... so i will have to find naparo as the months get closer.... did any notice the color of the turnbuckle pad..hoping its dark/ Navy Blue with old school logo... not black... can an1 answer that... ..... for old school fans like me ) my fav time period was 88-92... i always associate SUMMERSLAM with the blue cage the most...but i still wanna get a WM6 and WM7 skirt to display the ring without cage... any1 have a good idea to recreate the old school Blue Mats outside... ? and how i can get my hands on a couple of BLUE steel chairs to recreate memories such as the ending to survivor series 1991 when Flair slid the chair in the ring and allowed the Undertaker to " cleanly " pin Hulk Hogan sooo excited for this, its like finally happening... items i dream up end up becoming reality... any approx release dates..?? Q1, Q2 2015 ?

Think these cages go well on the jakks RSR? They Jakks RSR's are slightly smaller than the ASR/ESR, so I would doubt the cage pieces would line up right on them.

Aside from the two cage match sets for the ASR, I would genuinely be happy if this company didn't make anything else. Those awful 31" figures don't sell and frankly neither does any of the other stuff to warrant taking up valuable retail space at a lot of the stores I've been to. Also, while I'm on this rant, whoever makes the kid sized belts, STOP. They don't sell and whenever I'm looking through figures they just slide down and onto the floor. Lastly, I know WrestleMania 2 had a steel cage match and its a great throw back, but damn I wouldn't want to be reminded of that subpar WrestleMania. You don't have any idea what sells and what doesn't. You're just a mark and a consumer.

Think these cages go well on the jakks RSR? If you read earlier posts in the thread you'd see that the sizes of the ASR and RSR are different thus the cage won't fit.

All Non-Mattel figures (Basic, Elite, Battle Packs) are often in the exact same configuration and placement as it was when I was there last. But you're right! What was I thinking?

Your findings from the whopping 7 stores you go to (presumably within, what, a 20 mile radius) is not the worldwide statistical data that a company compiles and bases its development plans on. But no, you're right. If the 31" figs don't sell in your small town, then stop producing them even if they're hot sellers everywhere else in the world.
