I'm kind of interested to see what goes on here. Del Rio would be a joke imo but Drew McIntyre is a guy I'd love to see on TV again, assuming TNA gets on TV again. It's 10000000000000% not CM Punk, so that should immediately lower the expectation. Del Rio could help increase Mexico viewership I guess but since TNA is primarily a UK driven program now it seems more likely to be McIntyre, which is better for everyone involved. It could be both given the two men's relationship. |

I've learned long ago to never get excited for a Dixie announcement. If it's because they resigned Kurt Angle...  Sigh... "According to PWInsider.com, the announcement that Dixie Carter has been teasing will end up being a new contract for Kurt Angle. While he did have discussions with WWE, they wanted Angle to sign a full-time deal, and at 45-years-old with multiple surgeries, his body just couldn’t hold up to the intense schedule. The negotiations with WWE are apparently over, and the former world champion will not be returning.
Instead, Angle will look to finish his in-ring wrestling career in TNA, as the company returns for more Impact Wrestling tapings in early January." |
