I personally don't give a sh*t how the WWE feels about Daniel Bryan, I just hope the guy gets to be a professional wrestler again..
We're talking about one of the greatest and mostly underrated wrestler in the history of the business, for him to get sidelined with an injury that he can't recover from.. That's just sad.

I still say that if he's back in time he will be the one to take the belt from Lesnar. I may be overly optimistic, but I don't think anyone else should be the one to do it.
I really hope all of the second surgery talk is a swerve and he'll be in the Rumble. But we'll have to wait and see how that goes.

The way all of this unfolded basically gives the company a perfect excuse not to put Bryan back in the main event scene no matter how over he is. They'll label him as being injury prone the same way they did with Ziggler when he was champion and suffered a concussion. It's unfortunate, but not unexpected. Bryan isn't held in the same regard as Cena or Orton and, let's face it, was really never thought of as a main eventer by the company to begin with.

I wonder how hard people would bitch if they knew that the same exact match would've happened between Bryan and Lesnar, as it did with Cena at SummerSlam - an absolute squash. Lesnar would be so ing hated by everyone. Which would have worked out better honestly. They tried to replicate that with Cena but instead everyone loved Lesnar for it. Destroying Bryan would have given him the heel heat he needed and would make his eventual loss to Reigns or whoever that much more impactful.

I'm a boss, I own a theatre school and live music company.
I have dance teachers who can't teach if they break their ankle or sprain their wrist.
Do I hold that against them? Nope. I suck it up and pay them their sick pay entitlement and hire in a temp to cover.
It's not ideal, but if they're good at what they do you want them to heal up and then ease them back in when they get back in shape.
If they have a bad attitude or don't seem to care, then I have an issue with them, and I'll be giving more opportunities to the other members of my staff that want to be there and enjoy the work.
Danielson is an awesome worker, he consistently performs for them and, from what I can see, has a great attitude. I can't imagine HHH, Stephanie or Vince having any reservations about him when he comes back and will be consulting him on his condition all the way.
All the greats get injured and have to sit on the side lines for a long time in much uncertainty, just look at HHH with his quad(s). He'll be back.

Love how people assume Vince is a monster. Nobody here knows him. Reading dirt sheets & assuming does not make you an expert on Vince and his demeanor towards his athletes.

Guess someone dosent like Bryan eh? I'm actually a huge fan of Bryan. I'd just find it a bid odd that if the same match that happened with Cena happened with Bryan, people who adored the Cena match would bring out the pitchforks if it happened with Daniel. how would that be odd? one guy is beloved (bryan) and had finally won his first title after being a major underdog, and the other guy (cena) has been stale in character for over five years. people didn't adore the cena match because of the actual match layout, it was because it HAPPENED TO CENA. no one expected cena to get destroyed by lesnar, everyone would expect bryan to be. nothing odd about it.

I highly doubt everyone would expect Bryan to be destroyed by Lesnar, especially after how big he looked at WM 30.

He has an injury. It is by no means his fault. He cannot wrestle. They've not lost faith in him.
