Trace Demon smirking, Dave Demento with his fists in the air, Tugarin Zmey's expressionless mask, Penny Shannon's smile etc. As the track kicks off we begin to see footage of the wrestlers in action of the recent weeks interjected with fuzzy archive footage of news worthy happenings in the history of the UK.Dave Demento hitting a Viking spear.Joe Bishop hits a fall away slam on Penny Shannon on the ramp.Police rain down truncheon blows on the arms and heads of miners striking for their livelihood.Joshua Dean clatters Phillip Schneider with a steel chair in the face.Nikki Dean dropkicks Ante Whitner's tooth out of his mouth.A corner shop set on fire blazes during the Leeds race riots of 1981.Jayson Garrett flings Joshua Dean overhead with a German suplex.Trace Demon screams in pain as Dex has him locked in the Anaconda Vice.Irish civil rights protesters run for their lives from gunfire deployed by soldiers of the British army on Bloody Sunday.Phillip Schneider drops a huge flying elbow onto the stomach of Dex who spits blood on impact.Drakz hits the Needle Damage on Jayson Garrett to win the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship.A route master bus burns in the street after a terrorist attack blew it apart in central London.Tugarin Zmey throws Cameron Stone face first into the turnbuckle post.Trace Demon snatches the WFWF title from Drakz at ring side and drives it into Dex's face. The screen now shows a birds eye view of the capital city of England by night, panning over the city of London until it reaches the open roof of Wembley Stadium. The camera then zooms down into the crowds below and we are now presented with the motion graphics as the WFWF logo hammers the screen followed by "The Clash" and the tag line "London's Calling."The video package cuts and we are greeted by the usual pyro display that marks the beginning of every WFWF show. The fans in attendance are going wild.Alecia Matthews: Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Men & Monsters! Cameron Stone: And what an evening of action we have in store for you tonight folks! For one thing I'll be in action along side the Velocity Grrrl. Alecia Matthews: That's right, tonight's main event is the highly anticipated tag team match of Cameron Stone & Penny Shannon vs. The KoKaine Konspiracy. Cameron Stone: Not only that but you've got two more members of the S.O.S. in action against both halves of the upcoming Pay Per View's World Title match. Trace Demon sees action against Joshua Dean whilst Drakz has his hands full in a champion versus champion match with Dave Demento. "Alive" by P.O.D. blares out throughout the arena, a blinding white light capping off the hard rock riffs, as Daniel Kirkbride steps out from behind the curtain, the bustling energy that usually carries him to the ring all but absent. He's dressed not for action, but rather words, his ring attire conspicuously absent, in its place a fitted pair of denim blue jeans and a plain black t-shirt. He carries a WFWF microphone at his side, switching it from hand to hand as he calmly, casually makes his way down the ramp, returning fives to the outstretched hands on either side from the crowd.Making his way up the steps and into the ring, he pauses, taking stock of the warm welcome from the WFWF crowd as his music fades to a hush, the crowd's cheers now encapsulating the arena.Daniel Kirkbride: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, WFWF fans one and all. My name is Daniel Kirkbride. The crowd, having grown to appreciate the young newcomers as of now undefeated run, responds with thunderous ovation. Daniel cracks a small smile at their response, momentarily breaking his focused exterior. He continues...Daniel Kirkbride: At The Takeover, I faced quite possibly my biggest challenge to date - a man by the name of Dave Demento. Your International Champion, and one quarter of the Saviors of Salvation. Once more, the crowd erupts, showing a clear amount of support for those among the ranks of trying to keep the WFWF afloat.Daniel Kirkbride: Dave put up a hard fought battle - everything I'd expect from a man who carries a title second only to the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship. It wasn't a victory easily won, and I'd like to publicly thank Dave for not only putting forth a match worth fighting, but for carrying through to the very end his show of respect, and I'd like him to know that the sentiment is mutually held. But by now, most of you know that I'm not out here tonight to tell you who I think is worth a shake in the WFWF. The crowd responds with newfound vigor, indicating that the grand majority of them do, in fact, know what Daniel Kirkbride has come out to personally address.Daniel Kirkbride: I see. I'm not sharing any ground breaking news then when I say that this past week, the Saviors of Salvation approached me with a very generous offer to join their ranks. The crowd howls with approval at the very prospect.Daniel Kirkbride: Y'know, anyone back there looking to make a name for themselves would be banging down doors looking to latch on to a group full of household names such as the SOS. Kyle Matthews made that perfectly evident when he signed on to back The Final Revolution. Those of us out on our own, so to speak, maybe have got to start seeing the forest for the trees. I'm not out here to rile the troops, puff out my chest and tell you that a war is coming - but the lines are being drawn. Soon each and every one of us, whether we take up arms or not, are going to have to decide for ourselves where we stand - to make the decision between what is right, and what is easy. That's why, in regard to the offer from the SOS... The crowd is at a fever pitch now, causing Daniel to pause and let them have it out. As the anxiety sweeping the room dies down, he raises the mic once more.Daniel Kirkbride: ...I'm going to have to respectfully decline. For the first time since his arrival, Kirkbride is met with a chorus of jeers as the audience vocalizes their displeasure with his decision to not take up arms against the Final Revolution.Daniel Kirkbride: The Saviors of Salvation have taken up a cause that is both noble and admirable. They've made a choice that whether we acknowledge it now or not, we're all soon going to have to make. Similarly, I've made my choice. Tonight, Joe Bishop is going to soon find that although I will not be aligning myself with the SOS, I still pledge no allegiance, nor will I ever stand alongside The Final Revolution. This rejection of the WFWF's resident bad eggs draws an about face from the crowd, who quickly return to shouting their adulation at the young upstart.Daniel Kirkbride: Joe Bishop turned his back on every last one of you for a quick fix and a cheap push. I may not carry a belt to the ring. I may not walk that ramp accompanied by an army, and I may not come out here week in and week out, verbally tearing down my opponents and hopping on commentary to get my point across. I let my work in this ring do my talking for me. I try to never lose sight of right and wrong. And I will never, ever turn my back on you, the fans, the people in the back that want to do right by you week after week, or this company that I fought tooth and nail to break in to. My name is Daniel Kirkbride - that's all you'll ever need to know. His music hits as Daniel Kirkbride drops his mic, approaching the nearest corner and ascending the turnbuckles, pointing out to the crowd, a solemn and determined look on his face. He turns his signal and his gaze upward toward the sky as he drops back to the mat, exiting the ring and making his way back up the ramp, once again taking the time for each and every outstretched hand along the way.Cameron Stone: Well that's a shock to me if I'm honest. I really thought he was going to be become the newest member to fill the void Nikki has left now she's injured. Alecia Matthews: I think everyone did Cam but Daniel Kirkbride has let it be known that he's on their side from a moral stand point so who knows, we might still see an alliance if his hand is forced in the future. Cameron Stone: True. Who knows how out of control this war is going to get. it could well engulf the entire roster. I think it's about time we saw some in ring action though folks. Let's get into our first match as we see the Tag Team Champions in action for the first time since their initial victory at Superbrawl. "Humble Yourself" hits the speakers and Chase makes his way to the ring at a slow pace and with a stern look on his face. Half way down the aisle he pauses, points to the sky and bows his head.Christa Adina: The following is schedule for one fall and is a tag team match! Introducing first, from Everett, Washington, weighing in at 213lbs, he is one half of the WFWF Tag Team Champions; Chase Landoooon! He continues walking to the ring with his head bowed. He rolls into the ring and springs up, keeping a close eye on his opponents who are strangely already at ring side, watching closely."This Will Be the Day" hits over the PA and the lights turn darker. The first guitar rift kicks in and Garrett steps out and flings the hood of his red zip-up hoodie off. Garrett psyches himself up while walking down the ramp and stops right before the chorus hits.Christa Adina: And his partner, from Sacramento, California, weighing 225lbs, alongside his partner he makes up the team of "Hollywood Unhinged" and is also one of the WFWF Tag Team Champions, Jaaaaysoon Gaaarrett! When the chorus does hit, Garrett runs and slides into the ring and leaps to the far corner's second turnbuckle, throwing his jacket off in front of the announcer's table. He repeats to the other turnbuckle closest to the announcer's table and screams "I am golden!" before stepping back down off the turnbuckle and into his corner, exchanging a few words with Chase before the match.A large "Chase" chant breaks out as Chase stands firmly in the corner. Jayson tries to reason with him to start the match, but Chase stays silent and stands tall. Jayson gives up and the bell rings as Jayson steps outside with Chase and R.J. starting off the match.Alecia Matthews: I'm not sure how much of a united front Wilson and Diamond are facing tonight. That could work hugely in their favour and Tag Champs needs to be careful here. Cameron Stone: That's right Alecia. Communication is key in tag team matches and if these two aren't on the same page, which off the bat I'd say their not, they could get the rug pulled out from under them. Chase runs immediately at the slightly smaller opponent and tackles him, punching him in the face. The crowd is going wild, R.J. rolls out to take a quick breath before stepping back in, though Chase flies at him again, laying into him with fists to the jaw. R.J. rolls out a second time and talks to Brett about how to go about slowing down Chase. R.J. rolls in and tags in Brett, but he too can barely get a step into the ring before being jumped by Chase. Jayson simply looks stunned at the events, and the crowd who despite their immediate love for the high-flying duo, is happy to see their returning hero once again setting up shop in a WFWF ring. Chase rakes the downed Brett's back, but Brett is close enough to tag in R.J. who finally can get some momentum on Chase. R.J. now gets into the brawling antics with a leap over the top into the ring onto Chase. The crowd is stunned for a moment but once again erupts. R.J. sprints off the ropes and hits a double foot stomp and covers, ONE, TWO, NO! Just a two count. R.J. then dropkicks the seated Chase and tags in Brett who also hits a moonsault and a cover, one, two, only two again. Brett hits another moonsault, this time a standing one. Brett drags Chase up and places him into the corner where he tags in R.J.. Brett hits a chop on Chase, but Chase is fired up after that. R.J. runs for a splash but misses and Chase is right back on the attack. He runs at Brett and hits a chop block, then a knee trembler once he stands up, finished with a belly-to-belly right after that.Cameron Stone: For a man who has seen no action for months now Chase has come out hot tonight! Chase turns over to his corner and stares down Jayson. Jayson stares him back down, but slowly reaches out his hand. Chase takes a look at the hand, then a peek to make sure R.J. is still out on the apron and Brett is down, then makes the tag. Jayson yells out, "Thank you!" and paces over to Brett delivering a stomp to his gut. A fan gives a shout of encouragement to Brett but Jayson fires right back to the fan, "Don't you cheer for him!" drawing some 'Oohs' from the crowd. Jayson delivers a vertical suplex and makes a cover, one, two, only a two count there. He drags him right back up at sets up for the Hornet's Sting, first the backbreaker, then the stretch over his knee. Brett cries out in pain while R.J. reaches as far as he can for a tag. Brett can use the leg not being pushed down on to kick Garrett in the head and fall into a tag to R.J. who immediately hits a German suplex with an impressive bridge. One, two, NO! R.J. tries again, but after his impressive feat of German suplexing the much larger Garrett, Garrett reverses and hits a Sacramento Trio, three right in a row! He makes a cover now, ONE, TWO, NO! He sets up for the Goldeneye, but R.J. slips out and nails a roundhouse kick felling Jayson right away. Brett tags in and the two men hit a double clothesline on Jayson as he stumbled to his feet.Alecia Matthews: Interesting seeing some double team work from two men who have never teamed before in their lives. R.J. steps out and Brett has full control, who applies an armbar, a bit of a rarity for the high flyer. Garrett manages to get back up to a vertical base but is rolled backwards and then hit with a hard dropkick and another cover. One, two, no! Only a two count again. Brett decides to toss out Garrett and hit the ropes. The crowd stands in anticipation, but Chase runs in to tackle Brett and lay into him with some more hard punches. The crowd is sparked back up as R.J. runs in to save his partner, but Chase pummels him once again too. R.J. reverses the momentum and is able to clothesline Chase over the top rope, taking himself out in the process. Jayson is groggy but has the wherewith-all to enter the ring and stomp on Brett. Jayson hops to the second rope and hits a missile dropkick, then a rolling thunder. He picks Brett up and locks on a double underhook, looking for three rolling butterfly suplexes, however Brett still is able to drop to a knee to stop Garrett from suplexing him. Garrett is able to muster up the strength to muscle up the dead weight of Brett, but Brett flips out with a hurricanarana. At the same time, Chase irish whips R.J. hard into the barricade and both men are down on the outside and the inside. The crowd shouts encouragement as the referee starts a count:ONETWOTHREEFOURFIVESIXJayson is stirring.SEVENBrett is at the ropes grasping to pull himself up.EIGHTJayson slips, the crowd gasps, Brett is finally almost up.NINEJayson frantically claws at the ropes, Brett is standing.TE----Jayson is up to the roar of the crowd! Brett is a bit surprised, but knows he has to act fast. Brett goes over to bring him up but is greeted with a left to the midsection, then a right, then a left.Alecia Matthews: Jayson fighting back here! He needs to regain control of this thing. Chase gets up to the ring apron and reaches for the tag, Jayson hits more punches, but Brett clubs Jayson on the back then hits a dropkick to Jayson stopping him. R.J. is now back up and Brett tags him in.R.J. hits a bodyslam right away on Jayson, then gives him a hard kick to the back and makes a cover. One, two, NO! Just another two count. R.J. glances and at the referee and holds up three fingers, but the referee shakes his head no. R.J. whips Jayson into the corner but Jayson is able to reverse it. R.J. however springboards off the second rope and is able to land a crossbody. R.J. frantically drags Jayson into the corner and hits a springboard back elbow to the corner Jayson and as Jayson is in a seated position R.J. nails a leaping dropkick. He drags Jayson into the center of the ring once more. ONE, TWO, NO! Again just two. R.J. doesn't protest this one, he leaps to the top rope and takes off looking for the death blow, his Swanton Bomb, but Garrett rolls out in the nick of time. Garrett finally has some momentum and he's fired up, he hits a reverse atomic drop, then a big springboard moonsault, and makes a cover. ONE, TWO, NO! R.J. kicks out.Cameron Stone: Garrett's finding his bearings. That was close! Jayson picks the glazed over R.J. and whips him into the his corner, he runs back, knocks off Brett, and hits the Golden Boot! At the same time, Chase makes a blind tag, but Garrett doesn't notice. He springs up and hits EGADS then hits the ropes and leaps, nailing Brett with a no-handed suicide dive. At this point, Chase enters, hits his stalling falcon arrow, and makes a cover, ONE, TWO, THREE! DING DING DING!Jayson is confused as he still thought he was the legal man and was about to roll into the ring and make a cover of his own. Chase rolls out of the ring and grabs his title right in front of Jayson, not even acknowledging him, before walking off, Jayson behind him yelling.Alecia Matthews: Well they got the victory but I think your original comment still stands Cam, these two men are not united. They might have been able to score a victory of two new guys to the business but how will they fare against the domineering force of The KoKaine Konspiracy when it comes to Pay Per View time? Cameron Stone: We'll be back for more after the break people.

“Trust Nobody” by Ill Bill hits over the P/A system. Phillip Schneider makes his way through the curtain, not in wrestling attire, but black shorts and a Carrie t-shirt with sneakers. He carries a small bag in his hand, a cloth lunchbox sized bag.
Cameron Stone: Well here he comes, the man who brought a loaded hand gun to the ring the week before last.
Alecia Matthews: Oh God, what's the in bag?
Schneider slides into the ring under the bottom rope and demands the microphone. With reluctance, someone at ringside hands him the house mic.
Phillip Schneider: When I say something, I do it. When I want something, I take it. Last week on this program, “The Takeover”.. Dex made the mistake of standing directly between me and something I want, the WFWF Heavyweight championship. I do not give a damn that you are the last champion before Drakz, Dex. I held that championship longer than any person has in this federation's history and I never got a rematch after losing the title in a match that I wasn't pinned in. So you can take your sob story down to the store with $1.25 and buy a bottle of Pepsi, because that's all it's getting you with me. Boo hoo, my tummy hurts. Cry me a river, Dex.
The crowd boos at the lack of Dex.
Phillip Schneider: Now last week, I made my intentions clear. I want Drakz. I want my title belt back. And in hindsight, I realize a handgun may not have been the right solution to making that demand. Because after all, I can't shoot everyone. But WFWF management.. whoever is running the show tonight.. and Drakz.. I'd suggest you come out here now and give me what I want.. or this show is done. And I'm about to cost you a LOT of money.
Alecia Matthews: I'm not lying when I say I'm terrified right now.
Schneider unzips the zipper on his small bag and produces a very large bottle of lighter fluid. He holds it above his head, the crowd cheers wildly.
Cameron Stone: Oh Jesus!
Phillip Schneider: The way that I see it, there can't be a wrestling show without a wrestling ring, so unless I get my title shot, right now, I'm going to BURN THIS F*CKING RING TO THE GROUND! Come on guys, you think I'm playing? You think I'm f*cking playing??
Schneider pops the top of the lighter fluid and begins spraying a circle of it on the mat. He makes a rotation around, a perfect circle, then starts spraying a little bit more erratically. He's coating the mat in lighter fluid.
Phillip Schneider: See, I know what a mat for a wrestling ring costs. I know what those pretty custom turnbuckles cost, what the apron costs.. And I know what it's going to cost if you have to evacuate this building, cancel a live television show, and refund these fans money, so unless you want to broadcast a giant bon fire, I'd suggest that someone make their way out here with a blank contract in hand, right now.
It's not a member of WFWF management who makes their way towards the ring, but Schneider's handler, Percy Jackson. He's walking with purpose towards the ring as Schneider continues to spray lighter fluid everywhere. Percy slides into the ring and Schneider immediately nails him in the face with a running elbow.
Alecia Matthews: Again Percy has tried to come down here make his long time friend see sense but yet again Schneider has attacked him!
Phillip Schneider: You should've learned two weeks ago tubby, stay out when it doesn't concern you. Your job is to get things done on the business side so that situations like this do not arise. You are not doing your job. I'm having to take things into my own hands. Now get out of my ring, now, you fat swine.
Percy rolls to his knees. He stares up at Schneider. Schneider doesn't hit him again. Instead he sprays Percy in the face with lighter fluid.
Phillip Schneider: Fat piggy won't leave? We'll have a pig roast then!
Percy coughs and sputters as he frantically tries to get the lighter fluid out of his face, wiping at his eyes with his t-shirt. Schneider paints a streak of lighter fluid up Percy's back. Schneider reaches into his pocket, producing a barbecue lighter. Referees rush into the ring. Schneider starts kicking them and throwing them in every direction.
They're able to get Percy out of dodge, despite the high referee causalities. Officials help Percy to the back as Schneider clears the ring of everyone who's rushed in. Schneider heads to the ropes nearest the entrance ramp. He coats the top ring rope in a gracious amount of lighter fluid, then ignites it. The rope goes up in flames. Schneider drops to his knees in front, worshiping at the burning rope. Schneider lets out a maniacal laugh as he fans the flames.
Alecia Matthews: He's totally lost it!
Cameron Stone: I'm not certain the man ever had it to lose. There goes our ring rope though. We better cut to another impromptu ad break here while we both try and escort Schneider out of the building and replace the rope he's sacrificed.
Alecia Matthews: Sorry ladies and gentlemen. We'll be right back.

Christa Adina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first…
A blinding, white light emanates from the stage as "Alive" by P.O.D. blares out throughout the arena. Daniel Kirkbride dives out from behind the curtain into the light, his arms spread wide, turning on the spot to take in the entire atmosphere of the packed house. He pauses on the stage, raising both hands to the sky as he hangs his head momentarily, before clenching his hands into fists, throwing a right fisted punch into the air before him as he begins making his way down the ramp, refusing to pass by a single outstretched hand for a high five as he approaches the ringside area. Ascending the ring steps, he climbs the outside ring post, pausing with one foot on the top turnbuckle, one on the second, and points both fingers again toward the sky before dropping into the ring, arms spread wide once more, as if to almost embrace the crowd cheering his arrival.
Christa Adina: Hailing from Austin, Texas, weighing in at 220lbs and standing 6’1… Daniel… Kirkbride!
Alecia Matthews: Kirkbride has been nigh on unstoppable since turning up in the WFWF just a couple of months ago, nobody has even come close to beating him.
Cameron Stone: There wasn’t much fanfare behind his arrival, I’ve got a feeling he’s changed that now though.
Christa Adina: And his opponent.
The arena lights go dark as 'Lose It' blasts around the arena. After a few seconds Joe Bishop emerges in the entrance way. The three time National Champion looks completely focused on the task at hand, ignoring the mixed response he receives from the WFWF fans. Bishop climbs up the ring steps and enters the ring, a determined look in his eyes as he awaits his opponent.
Christa Adina: From Wimbledon, England, standing at 6’1 and weighing 195lbs, he is the number one contender to the WFWF International Championship… Joe… Bishop!
Alecia Matthews: Well now we know Joe Bishop will get his rematch with Dave Demento when the WFWF heads back to the United Kingdom and he is certainly focused on it.
Cameron Stone: Gold has a way of doing that to people around here.
DING! DING! DING!
The ring bell signals the start of this contest as Joe Bishop and Daniel Kirkbride stand opposite each other for the first time ever. Everybody, including these two men, knows of the Saviours offer to Kirkbride and therefore know that this match might have an impact on the growing hostilities between the two groups. They close the gap between them and lock up, the pair both known to favour technical move sets and both of them likely having similar game plans going into this contest. They battle for dominance before Kirkbride pulls Bishop into a side headlock. Joe, not wanting to get caught up this early, runs forwards towards the ropes, pushing Kirkbride up against them chest first. Daniel holds onto the ropes and pushes back to send Bishop rolling through on the canvas.
Alecia Matthews: Quick technical counter wrestling right here and that’s no surprise coming from these two guys.
Cameron Stone: No doubt, we know both Bishop and Kirkbride are quick, fantastic technicians but unlike Bishop Daniel has never met anyone in that ring who works the exact same style as him.
Bishop is quick up to his feet and goes for a boot to the gut as Kirkbride turns but finds his foot caught. The more experienced Final Revolution member leaps up and tries to deliver a boot to the side of Kirkbride’s head only for rookie to duck underneath it, Joe following through and managing to land on his hands and one foot. Knowing he’s at Kirkbride’s mercy in this kind of position Bishop rolls forwards and drags the religious superstar forwards with a jerk, Daniel Kirkbride flying over Bishop and landing on his back on the canvas. Both men scramble to their feet but this time Bishop leaps up and catches his opponent in the jaw with a picture perfect dropkick reminiscent of his mentor Trace Demon.
Alecia Matthews: So you think facing someone so similar in style is going to throw Kirkbride off?
Cameron Stone: It’s not that, it’s the fact that when you face someone with a similar style you know how their thinking and it turn they know how you think too. It’s a catch-22.
With Kirkbride grounded momentarily Bishop makes an uncharacteristic move and pounces upon him, mounting the undefeated newcomer and beginning to unload with right hands to the skull. Kirkbride blocks some of the blows before sneaking a boot up and planting it against Bishop’s gut and pushing up, shoving the revolutionary away and onto the canvas behind him. Kirkbride’s a little shaken up from the right hands to the temple but still beats Bishop to his feet and responds with a thrust kick straight to the skull that sends the former International Champion back first to the mat.
Alecia Matthews: Well there sure as hell wasn’t anything technical about that.
Cameron Stone: That was just plain brutal.
Joe Bishop holds his jaw in pain as Kirkbride plots out his next move, deciding to grab Bishop by the hair and drag him up onto his feet. He pulls Bishop into a clinch and begins delivering a few choice knee strikes to the ribs of Bishop, backing him up against the ring ropes. He follows up with a few elbow strikes that leaves Bishop stunned and then runs across the ring, rebounding off of the ropes and on the return going for a boot right to the mid-section that would certainly send Bishop hurtling through the ropes… but Bishop sees it coming and manages to dodge! Kirkbride’s momentum carries him and he ends up crotching himself on the middle rope. Bishop moves in quickly, hooking his arm around the back of Kirkbride’s neck and bring him straight down to the canvas with a big neckbreaker before going for the cover.
…1…
…2…
KICK OUT!
Alecia Matthews: Very quick thinking by Joe Bishop there, think that’s the kind of thing you pick up while running with a guy like Trace Demon?
Cameron Stone: Oh no doubt, you can’t hang with Trace Demon and not pick up a few tricks of the trade.
Joe Bishop climbs up to his feet, grabs hold of the top rope and begins putting in the boots to the body of Daniel Kirkbride, looking to inflict some more pain upon the religious rookie. He drags him up onto his feet and pushes him into the corner. With Bishop seemingly in control the revolutionary goes to deliver an Irish whip to the opposing corner only for Kirkbride to counter, flipping the two around. Bishop is sent hurtling towards the turnbuckle with Kirkbride sprinting after him, intending to deliver some more damage but he doesn’t get the chance as Joe leaps up. He plants his foot on the middle turnbuckle and pushes off of the top with both hands and goes to leap backwards over Kirkbride only for the up and coming superstar to manage to grab him on his shoulders, Daniel pulling him away from the turnbuckle with Bishop in a fireman’s carry position. He lifts him up and spins him round, seemingly looking to hit that big New Covenant cutter from a the fireman’s carry only for Joe to manage to use the momentum to land deftly behind him.
Alecia Matthews: A smart move by Bishop but Kirkbride almost had him there.
Cameron Stone: And if Bishop doesn’t capitalise right now then it won’t be much longer until Kirkbride really does have him.
As Kirkbride turns around Bishop turns and runs the ropes, rebounding, leaping up and sending Kirkbride flying across the ring with a big hurricanrana that gets a cheer from the crowd just for the pace of the action. Bishop quickly hooks the hands around the head of Kirkbride and drags him up onto his feet, pulling him across to the corner of the ring and then pulls him into a front facelock, lifts him and drops Kirkbride back first onto the canvas with a snap suplex that leaves down on his back. Bishop pulls himself to his feet with the ropes and then climbs out onto the apron through them, climbing up the turnbuckle to the very top as the crowd boo loudly, knowing what comes next.
Alecia Matthews: We’ve seen this plenty of times before, Joe Bishop has Kirkbride in place for the Decido Spirits and if he can connect it will be all over.
Cameron Stone: But high reward only comes from high risk, and he wants to be careful this risk doesn’t end up biting him in the ass.
Joe Bishop glances down to check that Kirkbride is still in position and then leaps from the top rope, is body twisting in mid-air as he comes down with the 450 Splash he calls the Decido Spiritus… and connects! The crowd boo loudly as Bishop holds his ribs in pain from the impact but manages to crawl on top of Kirkbride, the official dropping down for the count.
…1…
…2…
…3!
DING! DING! DING!
Alecia Matthews: Joe Bishop gets the win and puts an end to Daniel Kirkbride’s winning streak!
Cameron Stone: And more surprisingly he does it completely fairly with no help from the Final Revolution, who saw that coming?
Christa Adina: Your winner… Joe Bishop!
Joe Bishop kneels in the ring over the pained Daniel Kirkbride, the former International champion seemingly not taking any pleasure in the victory, simply signalling that he’ll soon have that title around his waist once again as the crowd boo loudly over the result.
Alecia Matthews: You've got to think this victory has sent a message to Demento who is scheduled to compete next against the World Champion. I have a feeling we'll be seeing Bishop and Kirkbride in this ring again though. These two men just had a great match deserving of a Pay Per View.
Cameron Stone: Absolutely. It's a shame to see Kirkbride's winning streak come to an end but I don't think it will do anything to hurt his upward trajectory here in the WFWF. The young man has clearly got a huge amount of talent, and talent always gets it's due here.
Alecia Matthews: Well next up we have a match that features the two top champions in this company, Dave Demento and Drakz. This is set to be a barn burner folks.
Standing in a grungy backstage area, Dave Demento focuses on the camera with an angry look on his face.
Dave Demento: It is almost time. In just a few short weeks, I get what I want. I get Joe Bishop in the middle of the ring as I defend my International championship. Last time we met Joe, we let the confines of a steel cage trap us next to each other. Nowhere to run. Now it'll be a different time when we head to London. I want you to run. Please run.
Dave starts taping his fists, intimidation factor level one thousand.
Dave Demento: You can run wherever you want to. Point is, I will find you. You little piece of sh*t. When I find you, I will rearrange that gothic little face of yours. Maybe I'll make an improvement. I don't care where you run to. I don't care who you run to. I will take you out and anybody that stands in my way of you. You're a marked man Bishop.
Dave grins like a Cheshire cat, letting out a small laugh as the screen fades away.
We return to the arena as the opening loop of AC/DC's hit song Thunderstruck resonates throughout the buzzing arena letting everyone know the man we just saw on the huge screens is making his way out to the ring! With each well-known lyric booming in the background, the fans decide to sing along. The atmosphere within the sold out crowd becomes wider and wider as everybody is now swaying their bodies with the beat of the song. As the song kicks into full blast, Dave Demento rushes out from behind the curtain to a monster ovation of cheers from those in attendance!
Christa Adina: The following match up is scheduled for one fall. Coming down the aisle, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at two hundred and seventy pounds, he is the WFWF International Champion and represents the Saviors of Salvation…. DAAAAAAAAAVVVVEEEE DEEEEMMEEEEEENNNNTTOOOO!
He runs to each side of the entrance ramp with the International Title around his waist, clenching his fists and pounding them both onto the stage, and pyrotechnics explode from stage. With the huge cloud of smoke now brought onto the stage, Demento runs through it. Almost as if he is sucking it in for adrenaline, Demento stops in the middle of the cloud. He pauses for a moment before emerging from the large cloud of gray and he exhales smoke into the air. Channeling his inner dragon!
Demento now walks to the ring as he slaps hands with multiple members of the crowd, all while they continue to sing his song to the ring. As he reaches the ring, Demento hops up onto the ring apron, but he waits a few seconds and walks over to the turnbuckle. He ascends it with ease, and facing the crowd, he raises both of his arms into the air holding the International Championship belt aloft to another loud ovation. He brings down his arms and jumps into the ring, ready for the action.
'Well I stand here because I can feel the pain'
The brash acappella vocals of Casey Chaos rip through the arena PA for one line before the frantic drums and over-driven guitar hits, signalling the arrival of Drakz. He sets foot onto the stage with the WFWF Championship slung over his shoulder, and looks from side to side across the arena, before running both his hands down his face and beard, opening his hands up and flicking them down to either side, removing the water from them. Perfectly timed are the pyrotechnics that burst in a single shower of silver to accompany this action.
Christa Adina: And his opponent, from Leeds, England by way of Chicago, Illinois, weighing 226lbs, he is your WFWF World Heavyweight Champion……Draaaaakz!
With a half cocked smile and a focused mind Drakz makes his way down the ramp, slapping the odd hand but never breaking his gaze from dead ahead, right at Demento.
He takes his time ascending the ring steps and climbs the turnbuckle from the apron. He spreads his arms wide, taking the belt from his shoulder and letting it hang by the strap from one hand, presenting himself to the crowd's cheers, before jumping down into the ring and rolling his shoulders in preparation for the match.
The referee in turn takes both belts from both men and calls them into the centre of the ring. The bell sounds.
Ding Ding
Drakz is the first to move in and he holds up his right hand calling for a test of strength. Dave looks hard at him and takes a few moments before he offers up his left and they lock up.
Alecia Matthews: Dave is clearly unsure of Drakz's mind set going into this. It's a strange time to be wrestling him as people still aren't sure how above board he's going to keep things.
Cameron Stone: I don't think the champion has given anyone reason to distrust him over the last few months though. This match should be straight and narrow.
Demento gets the upper hand in the knuckle lock and he forces Drakz down to his knees. Drakz rolls backwards to reverse the pressure and then pressing the sole of his foot into Demento's face he falls back to the mat and stuns his opponent with a face breaker like manoeuvre. Drakz rolls backward again and up to his feet and runs at Demento looking for a yakuza kick but Dave ducks underneath and the two men are back at a stale mate across the ring from each other to which the crowd cheers.
Drakz, keeping up the fast pace, runs at Demento again and trips his legs, landing him face first on the mat. Drakz then floats over and twists in a tight head lock on the International Champion. He writhes and pulls it in tighter and Demento fights to push him off but Drakz isn't letting go. Demento then uses his natural strength to get back up to his feet but when he tries to push Drakz off Drakz simply lifts both of his legs and near bulldogs Demento back down to the ground.
Alecia Matthews: Nice move from Drakz to keep the headlock in play. A great display of technical ability.
Drakz keeps the headlock in and again Demento fights his way to his feet. Not making the same mistake twice Dave this time lifts Drakz into the air and slams him backwards with a back drop driver. Drakz relinquishes the hold however Dave maintains the side waist lock and pulls his man back to a standing base. He lifts Drakz again for a back drop driver but half way through the move shifts his body to the front of Drakz and drives him down with a massive STO. Demento covers:
… 1 …
… 2 …
Drakz kicks out on two and Dave lifts him back up.
Cameron Stone: That was a huge reversal from Demento! Not only did he power his way out of the hold but he continued the flurry with a move that nearly ended this early on!
Demento begins hitting a series of elbows to the face of Drakz and then he whips him across the ring. As Drakz comes back Dave wrenches a hip toss on Drakz but Drakz rolls through onto his feet, jumps up and dropkicks Dave in the face. Dave stays up right and Drakz acts quickly, throwing him overhead with a t-bone suplex. Now Drakz covers:
… 1 …
Demento powers out at a one count and fights Drakz off as he tries to grab a hold of him. The two begin to exchange right and left hands with one another and then Drakz amps things up with a spinning back elbow. Demento reels backwards into the ropes but comes back with a superman punch that leaves both men flat out on the mat.
Alecia Matthews: We knew these two would give this match their all, regardless of it being a non title bout. These men are champions for a reason.
Demento is up first and he whips Drakz into the ropes. Drakz comes back at full speed and Demento flapjacks him from a great height. Demento doesn't stop their as he approaches his face down opponent and grabs him in a wheelbarrow. He falls back and throws Drakz up and over with a wheelbarrow suplex leaving Drakz crumpled in the bottom turnbuckle. Demento moves to the opposing corner and begins hitting the top turnbuckle pad. The crowd begins to clap in time and then he runs at Drakz and jumps hitting a very heavy basement drop kick to the face of Drakz who has no where to go with his head propped up. Demento pulls him up and then sits him on the top rope facing out toward the crowd.
Cameron Stone: Dave's got something big planned here. He's looking to make a name for himself with this victory.
Demento climbs behind Drakz and from the second rope he heaves Drakz up with another back drop but as Drakz is in mid air he releases and turns himself to get his knee in the way, over which Drakz's back bends.
Alecia Matthews: Second rope back breaker! That can't have done Drakz any good. It's well known that 18 months ago he was still in a wheel chair recovering from a fractured spine.
Cameron Stone: Dave's right to go after it. I can only imagine every opponent Drakz steps into the ring with these days is looking to put the hurt on his old injury. It's an easy target.
Drakz crawls across the ring, trying to get away from Demento, clearly shook up by that big fall, but Demento is on top of him with a boot in his back and is now pulling back on Drakz's arms. The referee gets around the front of Drakz to check if he wants to submit or not. Drakz replies no but shouts in pain as Demento pulls back on the arms even more. Dave now takes his foot out of the back of Drakz and places it on the rear of his skull. He lifts his foot up and then curb stomps the Heavyweight Champion face first into the mat. Dave rolls him over and hooks the leg:
… 1 …
… 2 …
Drakz grabs the bottom rope in the nick of time. Dave Demento scoops Drakz up and he's clearly rocked from that last move. Dave hits a series of hard rights, backing Drakz into the corner before whipping him full force across the ring and into the turnbuckle. Drakz's back arches and he's very quickly folded in half by Demento who follows up with a Viking Spear that rams him into the corner again. Drakz crumples but on instinct wraps himself around the bottom rope. Demento tries his best to pull him inwards so as to make a cover but Drakz has his arms and legs grapevined around the rope.
Cameron Stone: Not the most heroic thing I've ever seen but you have to believe that move may have just kept Drakz from losing this match!
Alecia Matthews: It's experience at the top level that has taught Drakz to win in any way possible. I don't think he's too fussy about his methods.
Frustrated by Drakz's actions Demento begins stomping away on the downed Drakz who, to escape this barrage, rolls to the outside. Demento watches as Drakz staggers around at ring side, eventually stopping to hold himself up with the announcer's desk. Drakz's chest heaves as he catches his breath and Demento simply waits for him to return to the ring.
Alecia Matthews: I think the finish of his last match with Kirkbride might have taught Dave a thing or two about diving through the ropes.
Cameron Stone: He needs to do something though, he's giving the World Champ a lot of time to recover here.
Drakz takes a deep breath and turns to the announcers giving them lacklustre thumbs up and a smile before turning back towards the ring to see Demento gesturing for him to bring it on. Drakz slaps some life into his cheeks and then hops up onto the ring apron only to be met by Demento coming toward him. Dave reaches over for Drakz but holding the middle rope Drakz falls to his back and slides under the ropes and through Dave's legs. Drakz then sprints across the ring and Dave turns around just at the wrong moment to be caught by a huge jumping knee that flops him back onto the ropes. Drakz begins hammering the chin of Demento with European uppercut after uppercut and then he whips Demento but Demento reverses. Dave is still fuzzy though and Drakz lunges with a diving European uppercut this time that puts Demento down on his backside, still sat up right.
Alecia Matthews: Drakz finally finding some momentum in this match. It's been all Demento since that opening flurry of Drakz's was halted.
Drakz runs and soccer punts Demento in the face, throwing him flat onto his back. Drakz then turns and climbs the turnbuckle before jumping and hitting a diving headbutt. Drakz covers:
… 1 …
… 2 …
Demento kicks out and Drakz stands up. Dave is now on all fours and Drakz grabs his head under his right arm. He then reaches through with his left arm and grabs Dave's. Using the arm as a lever he spins Demento around so that he is facing the lights and the crowd pops as Drakz looks around with a smile.
Cameron Stone: Dave needs to do something here. We all know what's coming!
Drakz jumps and hits Rolling Cold and then as to be expected he keeps the grip and has Demento in the Channel 9 reverse dragon sleeper.
Alecia Matthews: This could very well be it! Of all of the submission moves in Drakz's arsenal his version of the reverse dragon sleeper is probably the hardest to escape from. You can't drag yourself toward the ropes with your knees bent double and your head pulled back.
The crowd are going wild as the referee keeps tabs on Demento's condition but he's not willing to tap. Drakz torques back on Dave's neck some more but still he won't tap out. Just as it seems there's no way this match can go on Dave begins to fight back to his feet.
Cameron Stone: My God! Dave's using his brute strength to power out of the move.
Alecia Matthews: What an incredible escape attempt!
He bridges his back and rises up leaving Drakz stood once again with Demento in the set up for Rolling Cold. Drakz, seeing the sheer tenacity of Demento's will to continue, doesn't waste a second as he hits a second Rolling Cold only this time making a cover:
… 1 …
… 2 …
… 3 …
Ding Ding
Christa Adina: Ladies and gentlemen. Your winner Drakz!
Alecia Matthews: Well that was an excellent show from the International Champion and it seems to me he may have earned the respect of Drakz here.
Cameron Stone: I think you're right Alecia. If Drakz were feeling cocky I don't think he would have been so quick to hit that second Rolling Cold. He didn't waste a second there because he knew Demento was fighting for his life.
Drakz rolls to the outside and over to the ring side staff where he picks up the International Title. Dave is hauling himself upright back in the ring, still a little dazed and looking at Drakz in confusion. Drakz however simply tosses the International Title up to Dave who catches it with both arms against his chest. Drakz then places both of his palms together as though praying and nods his head at Demento in thanks. Dave responds with a wry smile and then exits the ring and head up the ramp as the World Heavyweight Champion picks up his own belt and makes his way to the announcers desk. As he's not mic'd up we can't here what he says to Cameron Stone.
Cameron Stone: How uncharacteristically thoughtful. She's all yours.
Alecia Matthews: What's going on?
Cameron Stone: Drakz has kindly offered to fill in for me while I go to the back to prepare for my match. I'll be seeing you Alecia. I've got some heads to crack.
There's a series of bangs and dragging noises as the headset is passed between the two men and then Stone jogs off up the ramp and into the back as Drakz sits down at the desk, dripping with sweat, in his ring trunks, breathing disgustingly heavily into the mic.
Alecia Matthews: Well…….this is……….pleasant.
Drakz: *Gasp*…………Great…….to be here………*Gasp*
Alecia Matthews: Well I think I might have to take the reins here for a few minutes while Drakz catches his breath. Buckle up fans, this next match promises to be a war! The rivalry forming between the Final Revolution and the Saviors of Salvation takes another step forward tonight. We've seen Joe Bishop and International Champion Dave Demento battling it out for each team over the past several weeks, and right now we have Trace Demon taking on Josh Dean!
Drakz: So spice!
Alecia Matthews: Indeed. Both men have taken personal shots at each other since the match was announced, and both have promised to make an example out of the other. It's a risky undertaking with each man having pivotal matches in London, one against the sweaty man right next to me.
Drakz shoots a single wave to the camera.
Alecia Matthews: Who is going to gain that needed push? We're about to find out, so let's send it up to Christa Adina to get us started!
The opening riffs of the song hit and the hue dims to where the entrance way is barely visible. A few seconds play as the entrance way becomes filled by someone in the dimness before the lyrics start to play.
Can you Remember Remember my name As I flow through your life A thousand oceans I have flown And cold, cold spirits of ice
Lights flash red as the visage of the man stands in the entrance way, back facing the ring. His head hangs low as he turns and kneels on one knee facing the ring. . He sits there for a moment, collecting his thoughts.
All my life I am the echo of your past
He pushes up to a standing position as the hue returns to normal and golden pyros rain down as Josh Dean is the man on the stage. The crowd gives him a respectful applause as Josh raises his head, adopting his trademark spread arm pose as he begins to walk down the ramp.
Christa Adina: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first representing the Saviors of Salvation, from Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at 225 pounds. He is "The Franchise" Josh Dean!
I am returning, the echo of a point in time Distant faces shine A thousand warriors I have known
Josh drops his arms to his side as he continues his descent down the ramp. A few fans along the ringside get to slap hands with Josh as he walks up the stairs, looking out into the crowd as he walks to the middle of the apron.
And laughing, as the spirits appear All your life Shadows of another day
Josh looks toward the inside of the ring and steps one leg into the ring, with the second following slowly as he enters the ring. Josh walks toward the corner nearest to the announce table and climbs the turnbuckle.
And if you hear me talking on the wind You’ve got to understand We must remain Perfect Strangers
Josh spreads his arms in his trademark pose while letting out a primal scream. He puts his arms down and climbs down from the turnbuckle and adopts his spread arm pose as he walks from one side of the ring to the other, gauging the crowd’s reaction before taking off his hoodie and toboggan.
As the opening chords of “Seizure of Power” hits the speakers the lights across the arena shut off one by one. They are replaced by six crimson spotlights, each one turning on a different part of the arena in sequence. One by one each of the spotlights move to the tip of the stage, combining and showing the first glimpse of Trace Demon, down on one knee with his back to the crowd and a hoodie over his head. As the song builds to a fever pitch he suddenly rises, spins around and in one simultaneous motion pulls his hood down and throws his other hand up like a gun, mouthing “Boom” as pyrotechnics go off all around him. As the pyrotechnics come to a stop the lights in the arena turn on, showing a full look at Trace Demon.
Christa Adina: And his opponent, representing The Final Revolution, from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 230 pounds. He is "The King of Demons" Trace Demon!
Trace stands on the ramp and takes a look around at the crowd, completely unfazed by the reaction he is getting. He seems to be in his own little world as he makes his way down the ramp, completely ignoring the fans on either side of him as they attempt to touch the King of Demons, instead focused solely on the ring and the whatever goal he has in mind for tonight. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp he removes his hoody and throws it to the ground before settling himself just outside the ring. The crowd goes wild because while looking up, Josh comes flying over the top rope and crashes onto Trace with a no hand somersault plancha! SH*T YEAH!
Alecia Matthews: And it looks like Josh Dean is wasting little time to get this match started!
Drakz: WOOOOOOOOO!
Alecia Matthews: You with me?
Drakz: I'm good now. How are you Matthews?
Alecia Matthews: I'm great, just please don't touch me, you're still very wet.
Drakz: This writes itself.
Josh is on top of Trace, landing peppering punches and short elbows as Trace attempts to tie him up and gain his composure. Trace manages to underhook an arm and stand up, but Josh is right back on him with knees to the ribs as he forces him back to the retaining wall. Trace spins Josh back first into the wall and fires off a huge headbutt that rocks Josh's head back. He goes to whip Josh into the retaining wall, but Josh reverses and sends Trace tumbling upside down into the wall! Trace holds his back in pain as Josh picks him up by the hair and drills him with a stiff right hand to the jaw that sends the former World Champion staggering along the barricade!
Alecia Matthews: Josh Dean is looking to make good on his promise to knock Trace Demon's teeth out tonight.
Drakz: What is with the Dean family and ruining people's teeth?
Trace is holding his jaw and is on the defensive as he continues to walk away, only for Josh to come up from behind him and smash him with a forearm strike to the back of the head that sends Trace tumbling. Trace is still looking for space, but Josh gives him none as he runs Trace back first into the retaining wall by the announce desk! Josh grabs Trace by the head and runs him head first into the desk. Trace's head bounces back as he falls flat and avoiding a faceplant by grabbing the ring skirt. Josh follows up with a stiff soccer kick to the back that lights Trace up. As Trace stands, Josh doubles him over with a big hook to the liver, before flooring him with a European Uppercut! As Trace crawls for safety, Josh grabs the leg. Trace preserves himself by kicking Josh off. He scampers around the ringside steps to a safe distance, but as he stands up, Josh leaps over the steps and barrels into Trace with a big flying clothesline!
Drakz: This is tremendous fun to watch.
Alecia Matthews: Trace Demon can't seem to get out of the gate! Josh Dean is relentless!
Josh is back on top of Trace, full mount on the outside, teeing off with huge ground and pound on The Final Revolution's leader. Trace looks to buck him off, but Josh keeps the mount tight and lands a brutal elbow strike to the jaw. The shot bounces Trace's head off the mat, he reaches up and rakes the eyes to stop Josh's onslaught. Josh rolls off and clutches his face, and Trace uses the time to get to his feet and scrape his boot across the side of Josh's face. Josh rolls and pulls himself up by the steel steps, but Trace drives Josh chest first into the steel steps! Josh doubles over, clutching his ribcage and Trace looks to follow up. He grabs Josh from behind and runs him ribs first into the retaining wall. As Josh collapses to the mat, Trace peels back the top of the retaining wall. He grabs Josh by his hair and scoops him up before dropping him chest first across the steel garter!
Drakz: T. Drizzle doing what he does best, bending the rules. He had to put an end to that roaring start of Dean's and he found a way.
Alecia Matthews: And it needs to be mentioned the emotional powderkeg that Josh Dean has been under since Nikki's injury at Takeover. He's bound to end up making a mistake when he's running on anger.
Drakz: It's true, especially so when you're facing a man as calculated as Trace.
Trace surveys the territory and goes back to work on Josh, who pulls himself up by the ring skirt with a stiff roundhouse kick to the ribs. Josh doubles over and Trace continues the assault on the midsection with a big knee lift that drops Josh to his hands and knees. A stomp the back shoots Josh's head up, only for Trace to crack him in the jaw with a stiff roundhouse kick! Josh sprawls out on the floor and the Grand Slam winner develops a sick smile on his face as he prepares for his next move. As Josh pulls himself to his feet, Trace wrings the arm and Irish Whips the former International Champ into the steel steps shoulder first! Knowing he can only win the match in the ring, grabs Josh by the hair and rolls him into the ring to officially start the match.
DING DING
Drakz: Is it me or has this happened a lot recently? Can't we just ring the bell as soon as a face is punched?
Trace immediately looks for the pin,
1.
2-kickout by Josh!
Alecia Matthews: Smart move by Trace, going for the pin quickly.
Josh rolls to the ropes and Trace grabs the ropes and uses it as a trampoline to come down with extra force as he stomps the ribcage. Josh sits up, coughing and trying to catch his breath, but Trace stays on him with more stomps to the chest and head. Trace reaches down and Josh fights him off with a snap kick behind the ear. Trace drops to a knee and Josh climbs to his feet and Trace is right there with a big roundhouse kick to the ribs. Whip into the ropes and Trace scores with high back elbow to the jaw. Josh sits up holding his jaw and Trace hooks up before taking him over with a high velocity snap suplex! Floatover into the pin,
1.
2-kickout by Josh!
Drakz: Have you ever seen anyone win a match with a snap suplex?
Alecia Matthews: Can't say I have, but simply forcing Dean to kick out wasted some of his energy.
Drakz: You are a smart one Miss Matthews. You mind if I come closer now? I think I'm just a little moist now.
Alecia Matthews: Lovely, and no.
Trace back to the attack with closed fist punches to the face as Josh still looks for a chance to recover. Josh covers up and rotates his hips, looking to control an arm. Josh switches and hooks a leg, dragging Trace down and locking up a rolling kneebar, no he doesn't have it! He uses the submission attempt to chain into an STF! Trace screams in pain as Josh pulls back on his neck, but he manages to reach the ropes for a break. Josh releases the hold, which gives Trace the opportunity to pick the ankle and torque the ankle. Now it's Josh fighting through the pain. He rolls to his back and kicks at the arms and face with his free leg until a kick cracks Trace right on the chin and he releases the hold.
Drakz: Some real nice chain wrestling there from both men.
Josh gets to his feet and Trace levels him with a Burning Lariat that turns him inside out!
Alecia Matthews: What a shot! We knew this match was going to be physical, but I think it surprised a lot of people!
Drakz: This could be an insight into what's to come down the line don't you think?
Alecia Matthews: Absolutely. The way these factions are going I wouldn't be surprised if we see these two going at it on a bigger stage in the future.
Drakz: After Trace loses to me that is.
Alecia Matthews: Perhaps they may even be battling over the World Heavyweight Championship?!
Drakz: Alecia! Play nice.
Trace gets down in Josh's face and screams at him to "go home with your wife!" Well that sh*t must have woke Josh up, because he flips Trace off in an act of defiance!
Drakz: Well that wasn't very nice.
Trace shakes his head and cracks Josh with a Rolling Elbow as he stands, but Josh is STILL ON HIS FEET!
Drakz: Jesus!
JOSH FIRES BACK WITH A FLURRY OF ELBOWS! HE'S BACK IN THIS!
Alecia Matthews: Both men are going in hard right now!
Trace is reeling and Josh lands a spinning back kick to the body to double him over. Josh runs off the ropes, and knocks Trace down with a clothesline. Trace pops up and Josh traps the arm and scores with a swinging neckbreaker. Josh sits up, feeling momentum, and he backs up into the corner, looking for the Spear. Trace catches him as he charges on the jaw with a stiff front kick! Trace hooks him from behind, Tiger Suplex with a bridge!
Drakz: This could be it!
1.
2-kickout by Josh!
Alecia Matthews: No! Joshua Dean kicks out on 2 and a half. This is a serious battle of attrition.
Trace pulls Josh up to his feet and Josh fights back with a elbows to the body. A go behind switch and Josh has a rear waistlock applied. Trace blocks the suplex attempt and fights him off by throwing his head back with a head butt to the nose. Josh releases the hold and Trace catches him to the back of the head with a leg catch enziguri. Josh stumbles around and falls to a knee. Trace lifts him, Buckle Bomb! Josh is slumped over in the corner and Trace charges in. He looks for the step up knee, but Josh catches him coming in with a big Uranage! Josh is down, Trace is down and rolling to the outside. The ref begins to count.
Alecia Matthews: Neither man seems able to sustain an advantage here.
Drakz: It may shock a lot of people, but I'm not surprised how tightly contested this match is. I've wrestled both men recently and regardless of accolades I'd find it hard to pick a winner going into this.
The ref's count is up to 5 before Trace grabs the ring apron and rolls into the ring. Josh is still down near the middle of the ring and Trace pushes himself to his feet as Josh attempts the same. Trace charges in and smashes Josh underneath a senton back splash. Josh gasps for air as Trace picks him up, softening him with a stiff forearm shot to the face. Josh back pedals to the ropes to keep his balance and as Trace follows him in, Josh catches him with a stiff right hand to the jaw. Trace backs up but looks to respond with a right of his own. Pick and stick left hook finds the mark for Josh, flying knee to the jaw! Trace is rubber legs, and Josh drops him with a reverse STO! Josh shoots the half,
1.
2-kickout by Trace!
Josh chains the offense together by rolling over Trace and locking in the Peruvian Necktie! Trace is in major trouble in the middle of the ring!
Alecia Matthews: Submission attempt! This looks good for Dean.
Josh torques on the choke, looking to force the tap out. Trace is holding on, trying to escape, and he rolls through in a odd modified school boy pin,
1.
2-kickout by Josh!
Both men to their feet and it's Trace who scores first with a roundhouse kick to the thigh, and Josh responds with a stinging kick to the inside thigh. It's f*cking Bloodsport with both men trading kicks to the ribs now! HELL YEAH! Josh gets the better of the exchange and Trace goes back to the eyes to stop the momentum. Trace looks for a Superkick, but it's caught! BOWS KNOWS (SPINNING BACK ELBOW) RIGHT TO THE NOSE AND TRACE'S NOSE IS A HYDRANT OF BLOOD! HOLY SH*T THATS NASTY!
Drakz: Ha!
Alecia Matthews: Trace's nose is busted.
A huge puddle forms on the mat as Trace tries to catch his senses but turns his back to Josh. Wheelbarrow Facebuster right on Trace's face! Josh turns him over for the pin,
1.
2-kickout by Trace into a rollup with the tights!
1.
2-kickout by Josh!
Both men are up and Trace scores with a kick to the belt line.
Drakz: That looked a little low to me.
Trace uses the opportunity to hook Josh up and hit D.I.E.D (STRONG BREAKER) TO THE HURT BACK AND RIBS! Trace has the cover,
1.
2-shoulder up by Josh!
Alecia Matthews: Almost had him there! We knew this match would be good, but I didn't think it would turn out to be such a dogfight! Look at Trace Demon's nose, it's pouring blood!
Drakz: Bet you a 10 its broken.
Alecia Matthews: Yeah? You're on.
Trace, for the first time in this match is showing a bit of frustration with Josh's resilience and tenacity. He pick Josh up, and looks to measure him for the Demonstration of Hell. Josh has it scouted, and spins out and pulls Trace into a Side Russian Leg Sweep. Josh stumbles over to the ropes, and heads to the apron. As Trace gets to his feet, Josh springboards to the top rope and dives off, Trace catches him in mid air with a Superkick!
Drakz: HE'S OUT!
Alecia Matthews: Trace paid for it the first time he tried, but he struck paydirt the second time!
Trace hooks the legs for the cover,
Drakz: That's got to be all she wrote.
1.
2-kickout by Josh!
Alecia Matthews: No! Joshua Dean is still in this!
Trace looks at the ref and intimidating him, telling him "count faster or I'll fire you. Josh has regained consciousness and is draped in the ropes. Trace charges in and crashes into Josh with a running hip smash on the ropes, and as he pops up from the force Trace runs in and catches Josh with a cutter, NO Josh tosses him off! Trace lands hard on his back and Josh looks to pounce, he charges in and Trace takes him tilt a whirl style, but Josh uses the momentum to Spike him on his head with a Tornado DDT! Trace is down and Josh motions for the Payout. He lifts Trace in the gutwrench, but Trace slips out the back, spinning Josh around hitting a kneeling jawbreaker! Josh pops up holding his jaw, allowing Trace to rebound off the ropes and connect with a Busaiku Knee Strike! Cover:
1.
2-shoulder up by Josh!
Drakz: These boys need to calm down, they've both got huge matches on the horizon and right now this fight could ruin those prospects.
Alecia Matthews: They're certainly leaving it all out there.
Trace goes to the corner. He climbs the turnbuckle. As he gets the top, he takes a second to measure before jumping off, but Josh moves and Trace gets nothing but canvas! Josh gingerly gets to his feet as Trace struggles to get to his feet, Josh meets him with a big standing dropkick to the jaw. Trace pops back up and Josh takes him down with a snapmare, following it up with a stiff kick to the back of the head. Josh hits the ropes and looks to follow up. He goes low angle Yakuza Kick, but Trace ole's him and scrambles to his feet. Upon turning around Trace begins the Demon Elbow Rush. Trace looks to the finish with the rolling elbow but Josh catches him with the Almost Famous (STO Backbreaker into a Cutter)!
Alecia Matthews: What a counter! He's got the pin,
1.
2-NO, Trace Demon kicks out!
Drakz: I thought he had him……….again……
Josh slaps the mat, knowing that he nearly got the win. Trace gets to his feet and Josh rocks him with a stiff European Uppercut! A jab cross combination has Trace moonwalking back to the corner.
Drakz: Billy Jean!
Josh looks to pull him out of the corner and hooks him, looking lift him vertical. Trace blocks it and a shot to the body releases him from the bad situation. Trace spins and looks for the Hellfire Overdose, but Josh slips out the back door. He locks Trace up, Franchiser coming, but Trace is able to elbow out. Trace kicks Josh in the gut, double underhook, he lifts him for The Demonstration of Hell, but Josh snaps off a beautiful hurricanrana counter! Trace scrambles to his and charges into the Rise Bomb (Sky High)! Pinning combination,
1.
2-3 NO TRACE GETS THE SHOULDER UP!
Both men are spent as they labor to their feet. Josh, full of emotion, looks to put the cherry on this one, motions for Trace to get to his feet, and he hoists him up to his shoulders, looking for the Chapter 11. Trace slips out the back door and wraps up a rear waistlock. He runs Josh to the corner to where the ref is, but Josh puts on the brakes! A back elbow to the temple releases the hold and as Josh turns around, Judgement (Poison Mist)!
Alecia Matthews: Oh hell no!
Drakz: Whoopsie.
The ref was shielded by Josh and as he gains a visual, he sees Trace standing there and Josh holding his face on the mat. Trace double underhooks Josh and hits the DEMONSTRATION OF HELL(Tiger Driver)! PINNING COMBINATION!
1.
2.
3!
DING DING!
Alecia Matthews: He stole one! Trace Demon f*cking stole that match from Josh Dean!
Drakz: Language!
Christa Adina: Here is your winner, Trace Demon!
Josh is still down on the mat, one hand on his hurt ribs and one hand covering his face from the mist. Trace climbs to the middle rope and motions for the belt to be around his waist. He then looks down at Drakz inviting him into the ring with both hands.
Drakz: So…….you know how most the time in these situations the guy at ring side would just sit there and stare back stoically, maybe even say something like 'Oh you'll get yours son'.
Alecia Matthews: Yes?
The viewers at home and Alecia Matthews are nearly deafened by the pop as Drakz tosses his headset off and, title belt in hand, he rushes the ring catching Trace Demon by surprise.
Alecia Matthews: My ears!………… Well I guess he has got his ring gear on still. This could be massive folks!
Drakz jumps onto the apron and pulls Trace's right leg through the ropes, dropping him chin first onto the top turnbuckle and then falling backward hanging by his tangled leg. Drakz then drops the title belt, plate down, into Trace Demon's hands that hover over his blood crusted face. He then grabs the top rope with both hands vaults onto the second rope and springboards over, into the ring, looking to smash a double stomp onto the belt, driving it into Trace's face but Trace saw sense and instead of keeping hold of the belt he wants so badly, he drops it and manages to free his leg and roll under the bottom rope to the outside.
Alecia Matthews: That was a close call for The King of Demons!
Drakz picks the belt back up and waves it at Trace, smiling. Trace doesn't look happy and he limps back up the ramp, favouring the leg that Drakz just trapped.
Alecia Matthews: Well folks I assumed Drakz would be hanging around to commentate the main event with me but it seems things escalated here and his plans have changed. We'll be back after this final ad break with our tag team main event of the evening! Don't go anywhere.

Arena lights fall dim as sparkles of purple, pink, and baby blue settle around the entrance way. Smoke fills the isle as the shrill of L7's "Fast and Frightening" damn near rips the speakers in two!
Christa Adina: The following tag team contest is your MAIN EVENT! And it is scheduled for one fall. First, from Los Santos, San Andreas, California…PENNY SHANNON!
Penny pushes herself through the entrance curtain, hooded up in her signature hoodie. She takes a moment to stand by the edge of the stage, pulling down her hood to reveal her pigtails as she kicks her feet and makes a mad rush down the isle. Slipping into the ring beneath the ropes, Penny charges up the up the turnbuckle and raises her left arm into the air, holding up a single fist as she turns to the camera, points to her own face and curses her ass off.
As we try to figure out where we are going to get the money to pay the FCC for Shannon’s antics, “Hockey Night in Canada” rages through the PA system.
Christa Adina: And her partner, from Calgary, Alberta Canada…he is Cameron Stone!
Cameron Stone makes his way from behind the curtain, donning his wrestling gear for one final time with a look of determination on his face that we have never seen before. He doesn’t even slap the hands of the fans who have been screaming for him all night. He is completely focused. Stone climbs the stairs and enters the ring through the second rope, slapping Shannon’s hand in their corner as they both look up at the ramp. The lights drop as a smoke begins to fill the stage. From behind the curtain comes The Dragon and The Midget. Side by side. The crowd is letting out a chorus of boos.
DMK looks up to the Dragon, who moves to the side with the Midget. “Cocaine” by Nightcore BLASTS the arena to its very core as from behind the curtain comes WFWF’s best kept secret. DMK grins from ear to ear, the man in the Judo attire and samurai sword on his back being quite the big coup for the little man.
Christa Adina: And their opponents. Accompanied by their manager Donnie Monty Kent, at a combined weight of 637 pounds, the team of Samael Ahriman and Tugarin Zmey. They are the KoKaine Konspiracy!
As the KoKaine Konspiracy makes their way down to the ring, the crowd is very, very close to throwing things at the group. It’s rare to see such a violent reaction, something only the most villainous of people can garner in this company. Samael leaps up onto the apron and handstands over the top rope, landing on one knee, scoping Stone and Shannon as The Dragon climbs the steps and pulls himself up and over the top rope. Sam takes the sheathed sword off of his back and hands it to Christa as she leaves the ring and then backs into his corner with Zmey. The ref calls for the bell.
DING DING DING!
Alecia Matthews: Well here we go! This thing has been bubbling for weeks, ever since Cam's singles match with Zmey took place. The KKK will be looking to cement themselves as the top team in the division whilst Penny and Cam are out for some sweet revenge.
Samael and Stone both stand in front of Zmey and Shannon, respectively, asking if they can start the match for their team. Zmey gives no acknowledgement and just steps out to the apron. Shannon nods her head and steps out as Sam and Cam meet in the center of the ring. The battle we’ve all been waiting for. Stone calls for a test of strength. Sam scoffs backwards and complies, giving his left hand to Stone, but as Stone goes for the right, Samael hauls off and slaps Stone straight across the face. That is followed up by a kick to the gut and an elbow to the back of the head. Samael runs the ropes with Stone on his knees looking to end the match as he leaps in the air and starts to bring his fist down into the back of Stone’s head, but Stone rolls out of the way and Sam’s gloved hand hits the mat with tremendous force. Stone pulls himself to his feet, putting Sam in a headlock and falling down to his side, putting more torque on the neck.
Samael is struggling for air, trying to get his hands underneath Stone’s elbow but he just cannot muster the strength, Stone the larger man. Taking advantage of that, Stone rolls so he is mounting the back of Samael and pulls back on the headlock, making it look almost like an inverted Camel Clutch. Samael is struggling mightily to break free, but the newest member of the Konspiracy just cannot do it so he searches for any way to get out of the hold. He hammers, weakly, at the head of the Calgary Kid. On the outside of the ring the Midget, barely visible above the apron, starts shouting.
DMK: THE EYES. THE F*CKING EYES.
This seems to have triggered a thought process in Sam as instead of the side of the head, Ahriman goes for the front of Cam’s head, finally nailing a nasty bare knuckle into Stone’s eye, forcing the man to break the hold and cover his face. Sam grasps at his throat, trying to catch his breath. Stone picks himself up, one eye closed, and walks over to Sam and picks him up also. Stone goes for a right hook but Ahriman ducks under, catches Stone from behind and hits a rolling cutter, Stone falling flat to the mat. Ahriman picks Cam up, hoists him up onto his shoulders and drives him into Stone’s own corner. Sam points at Shannon and yells for her to tag herself in. Eager to get into the fight, Shannon tags herself in and the ref rolls Stone out of the ring to help him avoid the five count. Shannon charges at Sam who ducks and runs the turnbuckle. Shannon charges again and Samael ducks and leaps into the air, tagging the extended hand of Tugarin Zmey. Samael and DMK grin from ear to ear as the Dragon pulls himself into the ring. Penny is a fighter, but her eyes widen knowing this could potentially be a huge (pun intended) problem. She looks behind her to see the status of Stone, who’s still dead to the world on the mat below.
Zmey walks to the center of the ring. Shannon hesitantly follows in suit, but then unleashes holy hell on Zmey, punches and kicks blazing, barely doing anything to the man. She continues to fire shots at Tugarin, who continues to shrug them off like he’s got a coat of armor around him. She starts to run out of gas, taking a swing that Zmey catches with one hand, locks her arm under her waist and uses one arm to lift the woman off of her feet with her one arm. Shannon beats on Zmey’s arm with her free arm but gets the idea to grapevine it! She turns his lift into a standing grapevine armbar. She uses all of her upper body strength to pull herself higher into his arm and lock her ankles by Zmey’s shoulder. She kicks Zmey in the face with her heel a couple of times but then is put down by Zmey when he uses his strength to ram her, still connected to his arm, into the corner. Shannon lands on her feet but is gripped and hauled into the air and down to the mat with a reverse half nelson suplex. Shannon rolls towards her corner where Stone has gotten to the apron, his condition unknown, but he is forced to make the tag in.
Cam’s face is red as a beet. Zmey throws a deck at Stone, who falls to his knee but gets right back up. Zmey hits another, and the same thing happens again, Stone hulking up. Zmey goes for his big boot but Cam drops to both of his knees and clasps his hands together, using them as an ax and driving them into the foot of Zmey, which was severely injured in their hardcore match a few weeks ago by way of a sledgehammer shot. Zmey lets out a low groan, close to a painful sound but very muffled. Zmey drops to his knee and tries to shake the pain out of his foot, but he is there for the pickings for Stone, who hooks his arm around the neck of Zmey, hoists him up in the air and drops him with a Cam Slam! Zmey is completely off of his feet, and it was done by Cameron Stone. Samael hops into the ring and throws a kick Cam’s way which Stone dodges and clotheslines his fellow commentator up and over the ropes. Stone hustles to his corner and tags a woozy Shannon. But instead of leaving the ring, Stone does something foreign to him. He ascends the top rope, sits on the turnbuckle and grabs Penny’s hand, Shannon gets herself up onto the top too and pulls herself onto Stone’s shoulders. Cam holds her hands as she stands atop his shoulders and leaps forward, a diving splash on the big man!
… 1 …
Zmey has his hands under Shannon and literally tosses her about a foot away from him from the covered position. Zmey sits up, cracks his neck and stands up. Penny is starting to come to and Zmey sets up for the Inborn Aggression. He takes off and lifts his massive boot and plants it right in the mouth of Shannon, who goes flying from the force, hitting her head hard off of the turnbuckle in her corner. Stone tags himself in and tries to set up for another Cam Slam but Zmey blocks it, hits a short armed clothesline and runs the ropes, hitting another Inborn Aggression, Stone dead in the ring. Sam is SCREAMING in the corner, practically flipping over the ropes begging for a tag. Zmey looks at DMK who shrugs. Zmey walks to Samael and makes the tag. Ahriman grins, climbing to the top rope, flipping Stone the bird as he leaps off, hitting the Phoenix Splash on Stone. Cover.
… 1 …
… 2 …
… 3 …
The ref calls for the bell.
Christa Adina: Here are your winners, Samael Ahriman and Tugarin Zmey, the KoKaine Konspiracy!
Sam stands, raising his arm in victory. Zmey and DMK join Ahriman in the ring, DMK in the center, pointing at his clearly successful tag team, a sick elation on his face considering the destruction Sam and Zmey just laid out on Stone and SOS member Penny Shannon. But it seems they're not done.
Alecia Matthews: Come on guys! That's enough!
The inevitable post match beat down on Stone begins with Samael driving knee after knee into Stone's head, however Penny gets back into the ring and gets between the two men, denying Samael the pleasure of putting Stone out of action permanently, although it seems the damage has been done. Samael smiles and the two exchange shots to the crowd's roaring approval. DMK, having seen enough of this resistance though orders his dragon forward. Zmey walks calmly and with purpose toward Shannon and grabs a handful of her hair. She shrieks as the leviathan actually lifts her off of the ground by her head much to Samael's amusement.
Alecia Matthews: This is unnecessary! You've already got the victory!
Racing down the ramp though, still in his ring gear, with his ribs taped after his match with Trace Demon, comes Joshua Dean. He slides into the ring and Zmey drops Shannon, leaving her to Ahriman. Dean runs for Zmey but Zmey lifts his boot and like the weapon he is seeks out the injured ribs of Josh with it. Josh's valiant attempt is thwarted as he crumples to the ground and now both members of the S.O.S. are at the mercy of the KoKaine Konspiracy.
Alecia Matthews: This is getting out of hand. The KKK are in total control of the ring.
Another pop from the crowd though as this time Chase Landon and Jayson Garrett come down the ramp armed with steel chairs, their tag belts around their waists. They enter the ring and get the jump on the KKK, delivering a pair of shots to the chest and back of Zmey. Samael turns around and eats a chair shot for his troubles. He drops to his back and rolls out of the ring and DMK screams at Zmey to do the same. Zmey is clearly ready to fight but follows his orders and, with his arms wrapped over the ropes, flips backwards down to his feet and scoops his midget master up and onto his shoulders as they make good their escape.
The members of Hollywood Unhinged shout out at the KKK as they back up the ramp. Garrett takes his belt from his waist and holds it up pointing at his own chest, shouting the whole time.
Alecia Matthews: It's clear Garret & Landon want to send a message to the KKK. It seems to me they aren't scared to face off at the Pay Per View, regardless of what they just saw happen out here to three very well established wrestlers.
Garrett and Landon then reach down and help Shannon and Dean to their feet as the KKK make it to the stage. As the tag champs check on the condition of the S.O.S members the crowd cheers as it seems for once the good guys have won the day………which is nice isn't it?
Suddenly though Landon and Garrett toss their chairs into the hands of Dean and Shannon and then they both superkick the steel into their faces, dropping the pair of them back to the mat.
Alecia Matthews: Oh for goodness sake!
The crowd turn on them instantly and, with little acknowledgement of one another the Tag Team Champions smile and celebrate with their belts as we close the show.

Well I thought this was a very well rounded set of results with some great promos and some great matches. Josh wrote the match between himself and Trace and I'm sure you'll agree it's a great read, thanks to him for putting a lot of effort into that one.
Big thanks to Proggy, Jayson Garrett, Ante Whitner, Shawn, SYE, Schneider and anyone else I've forgotten who contributed to this.
As I mentioned before Shawn will now be running his Halloween special and once that's finished we'll get the next card up for the go home show before The Clash PPV.
One more thing I'd like to mention is that the Kirkbride/Bishop match was the hardest match I've ever had to judge, both as someone who makes the decision on who gets the win and as a reader who just makes his own mind up for the fun of it. Congratulations guys you stole the show and we'll definitely be booking this match again some time in the future.

I didn't write it, Drakz did.
I enjoyed everything except the Schneider promo. I didn't really like the gun thing before and I feel like this is going down the same alley. I am actually surprised for the lack of creativity in what Schneider did there. When Progs did the same thing with Crowe bringing out a gun, I thought it was cheesy. Now Schneider does it and then sets fire to the ring. Maybe it is just me but I haven't been a fan of this chapter of The Lunatic Jew Story.
