I think it's safe to say that we are all frustrated with TRU being full of basic BAF sheamus and Del Rio figures and a lot of our TRUs are still loaded with older elite BAF. I fear especially with guys like Punk & Del Rio off TV these will sit on the shelves even past the holidays. TRU doesn't seem to have any plans to put this stuff on clearance either. Anyway, I was thinking a bunch of us could send toys r us corporate emails about this problem, and maybe we can help correct it? I mean at this rate it can't hurt to atleast. It seems like TRU itself isn't even aware of this issue so how can they correct it? They just see a stock of figures and don't order more.

Tell them you're a mom from Florida that is offended by ADR, Punk, and Sheamus. I have no clue why they would be offensive. Make something up. Start an online petition.

It isnt TRU's fault that Mattel made figures no one wanted. If anything speak to Mattel. Short of Mattel buying back the lousy figures I don't see why TRU should loose money on these poor selections. Mattel is the one that decided to put Punk in BAF Heymen and then immediately into BAF Ross. And then immediately into E29. It was Mattel that flooded the store. Do you think the average customer will buy BAF Punk for 3 or 5 dollars more when the E29 Punk is on shelves too? Those BAF Punks will take a very long time to sell. It isn't Toys R Us's fault though, TRU kept their end of the deal, they bought the figures and put them on the shelves.

Those ADR and sheamus are selling much faster at my tru. I only have a few left. But emailing corporate won't do anything. They get thousands of emails each day. Probably, there will be a sale like "buy 1 get 1 free best of ppv basic figures". Who knows, all we have to do is wait

Buy them all to donate to Toys For Tots. You're cleaning the shelves, and doing it for a good cause.

You know what I've heard works.... A simple letter sent directly to head office explaining your frustration with distribution and tell them that by not cycling this old crap out to make room for new stuff, they are loosing out big time to online retailers etc, etc..... Make up all the reasons you can think of. There's plenty.
I have no idea how true this is but someone told me that they take those types of complaints more seriously. The theory is that it counts for something like 10,000x because it takes more effort to get off your ass, look up their address, type a letter, and send it in They assume you're speaking for a much larger population being the one person out of say 5,000-10,000 similar minded people to be motivated enough to actually take action. Has anyone heard of this before? I say we give it a try. Canada and the US.

Yeah and then all that will happen is they will drop the WWE lines because they aren't selling.

100 peeps on a wrestling figure forum are not making a difference at a mass retailer selling tons of product you want to make a difference? practice patience. Mattel is producing the Bearer set...they aren't just going to melt all the figures and make new ones because TRU is sitting on old product. it will be out eventually and you'll all be bitching about how THAT set is peg warming in a few months. the issue is not with TRU sitting on ADR & Sheamus figures, it's with the fact that we are on this board and we see Ringside getting new sets every 2 weeks, then other retail stores getting new sets every month so we expect to get everything new all at once all the time or it's "bullcrap and we need to do something about it" every single time a new set hits retail in my area i go ing crazy driving around to all the stores hoping i can grab what i want. usually i get 1 or 2 out of about 20 stores that have what i need... fast forward a month or so and those same sets are loaded up everywhere and i could have easily walked in to any of the stores and gotten the full set Example is the new Elite Lex Luger. The set hit, I never saw him for a couple weeks. I got lucky and ordered off Target's site....in the past week i've seen him at 3 different Targets.

Yeah and then all that will happen is they will drop the WWE lines because they aren't selling. You think this could be possible? Mattel is a giant of a company. Im sure Mattel would try to force TRU to keep wwe toys in stores. Like a package deal? Like if TRU wants to sell Hotwheels and Barbie then they better carry the less popular lines.

It would have been nice for Mattel to throw a few more Axel figures out there in the universe so we could actually assemble the BAF.

Yes I could see it happening. TRU doesn't have to order all product. That's why Legends died at retail. Same as JLU and DCUC.
