TWT - New NXT Signing Inactive; Explanation for WWE Superstar's Name Change; Reason For The Axel Push; TNA Knockout Released
- Recent WWE NXT signing Victoria Reyes, formerly known as Reby Sky on the independent circuit, has recently announced that she is expecting her first child alongside husband Matt Hardy. Victoria reported to the WWE Performance Center last week and will now be taking time off. The vignettes promoting her debut on NXT have been pulled and she's expected to be back later next year. We wish the best for mister and miss Hardy.
- Members of the Internet Wrestling Community have been left confused for the past week when Johnny Curtis returned to his former ring name following the switch from the Fandango name. We'ce contacted the WWE and they replied to our e-mail informing us that a copyright issue came up with the Fandango movie tickets website. In order to not pay the rights to the company, WWE pulled Curtis off television and he made his return recently along the side of Tyson Kidd.
- Curtis Axel has recently engaged in a face push seemingly out of nowhere. We've been told by our sources that the turn was requested by Axel and was supported by Triple H. Triple H is said to be a strong supporter of Curtis Axel and sees a lot in the performer. It will be interesting to see where this renewed push and face turn leads the son of Curt Hennig.
- Earlier today, former TNA Knockout's champion HAVOK requested and was granted her release from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. It should be noted that Triple H and Jessicka Havok have both followed each other on Twitter following the news breaking.

Stay Connected On Social Media Using The Following ↓ | Following the signature WWE intro, the live airing of Monday Night RAW transitions to the ringside area where John 'Bradshaw' Layfield and Michael Cole welcome us to a special edition of RAW - as it is the 2014 edition of the Slammy Awards! The crowd in Greenville, South Carolina are amped up as the theme of Chris Jericho hits the sound system as the 'Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla' makes his way on stage to a massive pop. Jericho is all smiles as he reaches the podium. "Welcome to RAW is Jericho!" starts Y2J to a huge pop from the WWE Universe. "As you all know, news broke earlier today that I, Chris Jericho, would be the special host for tonight's Slammy Awards. I am the best at what I do, and that means tonight here in Greenville, I am the best award show host EVVVVEEER! Now without further ado, let me welcome to the stage the first presenter for an award here tonight... Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, the New Age Outlaws!" adds Jericho as the crowd explodes when the former WWE Tag Team champions walk out on stage in their D-Generation X gear and smiles on their faces. "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, we here in D-Generation X proudly present to you the Slammy nominations for tag team of the year! And if you're not down with that, we got two words for ya!" adds Road Dogg as he hands the mic to Gunn, who finishes the phrase with the crowd. The screen transitions to a video highlighting the Tag Team of the Year nominees: Goldust and Stardust, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, The Miz and Damien Mizdow, and finally, Jimmy and Jey Uso! Returning back to the live broadcast, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg question the nominees and wonder why they aren't nominated - after all they were WWE Tag Team champions earlier in the year. However, after they judge the nominations, Road Dogg opens the envelope and announces the winners to be: Jimmy and Jey Uso! The theme of the former WWE Tag Team champions hit as they make their way onto the stage and engage in a staredown with the New Age Outlaws, a nod to their clash earlier in the year. "My brother and I want to thank you, the WWE Universe for supporting us through the year and without you, we wouldn't have won these!" exclaims Jimmy with a smile. However, The New Age Outlaws have stuck around the stage and get back into the shot. "We know we can beat you again. And we deserve those awards." retorts Road Dogg with a smile on his face as Gunn nods his head. "Is that a challenge? If so, we accept!" retorts Jey as the WWE Universe explodes. Both teams continue their staredown as The New Age Outlaws return backstage - and later tonight they will face The Usos in a rematch from earlier this year! A graphic flashes on the screen revealing that also featured later tonight, Ryback and Cesaro will team together as they face the Authority's Rusev and Luke Harper!

Dolph Ziggler def. Seth Rollins (w/ J&J Security) in 14:34 A pay-per-view quality match from these two excellent in-ring performers as they look to build momentum heading into this Sunday's TLC pay-per-view. Seth Rollins put up a huge fight against Ziggler as they traded offense throughout the course of the match. As Ziggler looked to have Rollins finished as he looked to lock in the ZigZag, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury both hopped onto the ring apron to distract the referee. Rollins snuck his way back into momentum as he connected with the Curb Stomp. However, as he had Ziggler pinned for the visible three, J&J Security continued to distract the ref without knowing Seth had the match won. As they finally realized, Dolph escaped from the pin and rolled Rollins up for his own pinfall victory.
Ziggler rises to his feet and grabs hold of his Intercontinental championship as Rollins looks on in disbelief. Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury both stand in shock with their hands on top of their heads as if they just lost the SuperBowl. Ziggler hurries up the ramp with a grin as Seth shakes his head in the ring. Rollins leaves the ring and heads back up the ramp as J&J Security plead with him to listen to them. On stage is Chris Jericho once again as he introduces the next presenter, this time for the Breakout Star of the Year... William Regal! The Englishman walks out on stage to cheering from the WWE Universe. "Each year, several new additions to the WWE roster try their best to make that year theirs. And these four people have accomplished that during the course of this year. I present to you the nominees for Breakout Star of the Year." reveals Regal as the feed transitions into the video package. Nominated for the award is Paige, Adam Rose, Bo Dallas, and current United States champion, Rusev. Regal opens the envelope and reveals the winner to be: Rusev! The United States champion walks out on stage alongside Lana. The 'Ravishing Russian' berates the crowd before telling us that Ryback doesn't stand a chance this Sunday at TLC. The two leave the stage to huge boos, as Rusev teams with Luke Harper later tonight to face Cesaro and Ryback.

| Returning from break, the theme music of Mick Foley hit the sound system as he makes his way on stage to the podium dressed in a suit with his trademark flannel over top. Foley starts off his speech recalling his adventure of being the interim Smackdown general manager this past Friday. Then he went on to recall how ruined his body is from doing extreme moments throughout his career. We then focus on a video package highlighting the nominees for 'Xtreme' Moment of the Year: Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins fall off the Hell in a Cell, Brock Lesnar destroys Big Show with a Steel Chair, Kane and Daniel Bryan go through a flaming table, and finally, Seth Rollins flying off a balcony onto Evolution. Following a Foley-made drumroll, the winner is announced to be Seth Rollins flying off a balcony onto Evolution! The theme of Mr. Money in the Bank hits the speakers again as he comes out and violently accepts the awards while clutching his ribs. "This is the reason why I was the reason The Shield was successful. I put us on the map. Unfortunately for Randy Orton, he better go rewatch what I've done to earn this Slammy, because I'm bringing all this and more this Sunday. It's time for the 'Legend Killer' to suffer." adds Rollins as he returns backstage.
Johnny Curtis (w/ Tyson Kidd) def. Jack Swagger (w/ Zeb Colter) in 6:59 Johnny Curtis has shown a mean streak since returning a few weeks ago, and he is scheduled to substitute for Tyson Kidd against Curtis Axel on WWE TLC's kickoff show on the WWE Network this Sunday. However, tonight he faced off against former World Heavyweight champion Jack Swagger. Swagger tried his best, but he eventually fell to the diving leg drop that secured the victory for Curtis. He gains quite a bit of momentum heading to his match this Sunday.
A graphic is shown reminding us that Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella won the Couple of the Year Slammy, "Yes! Yes! Yes!" won the Catchphrase of the Year Slammy, The Curb Stomp won the Finishing Move of The Year award, and #CenaAuthority won the Hashtag of the Year award earlier today on the WWE RAW pre-show shown exclusively on the WWE Network. Coming up next, Daniel Bryan returns to RAW as he presents the "This is Awesome" Moment of the Year award.

| Returning from break, the theme of Daniel Bryan hits as the arena here in Greenville, South Carolina explodes with cheers! The bearded man walks out on stage engaging in the 'Yes!' chant as the crowd follows along loudly. Bryan reaches the podium with a smile on his face as he informs the crowd that he loves being here, but unfortunately he won't be able to return as quickly as he'd hope, drawing boos from the crowd. "But when I come back, I will be better than ever and I will regain my WWE World Heavyweight championship." adds Bryan to cheers. He then presents the nominees for the "This is Awesome" Moment of the Year as the video package airs. The nominees are: Brock Lesnar ending the Undertaker's undefeated streak, Daniel Bryan defeating Evolution all in one night to capture the WWE World Heavyweight championship, John Cena turns his back on the WWE Universe by joining The Authority, and lastly, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins wrecking the Staples Center at SummerSlam. "I hope I'm the winner." adds Daniel before opening the envelope and announcing the winner as... John Cena turning his back on the WWE Universe and joining The Authority. John Cena comes out on stage to huge load of boos from the crowd as he engages in a stare down with Daniel Bryan at the podium. Bryan decides to take the situation in his control as he questions why John did it. "I did it to advance my career and show why I am the best here. I'm better than you Bryan, you know it, these people know it. It's why every year I take home one of these awards. It's why I can afford the expensive suits. I can actually afford to shave." retorts Cena with a grin. "And this Sunday, I will show all of you just how dangerous I can be. I will become the Intercontinental champion for the very first time when I destroy Dolph Ziggler. And following that, I will become the WWE World Heavyweight champion. Because I am John Cena, and I am 'The Franchise'." finished Cena with a smile as Bryan sits there in disgust with his former friend. "You know, I actually considered you a friend. But you turn out to be just like the rest of them, an egotistical dick!" retorts Bryan as John looks at him in anger. The WWE Universe growing a loud 'Yes!' chant as Bryan smiles as Cena continues to stare down the former champion. Bryan looks around the arena but when he turns around, Cena hoists him onto his shoulders and carries him over to the side of the stage, threatening to deliver an Attitude Adjustment off the stage. Just then, the theme of Dolph Ziggler hits as the Intercontinental champion comes running from backstage and pulls Bryan off Cena. 'The Franchise' turns around to be hit with a superkick that rocks him before he jumps off the stage and returns backstage as Ziggler and Bryan celebrate on stage. "John Cena doesn't want to hurt himself before his match on Sunday. It's not running away, it's smart strategy, Maggle!" adds JBL from the commentary booth. What will happen this Sunday when Dolph Ziggler and John Cena face off in a Ladder match for the Intercontinental championship?

| Returning from break, a replay is shown of The Bella Twins presenting themselves the double cross moment of the year for SummerSlam. The award was handed out live exclusively on the WWE App, which you can get on your smartphone for free.
Nikki Bella (w/ Brie Bella) def. Alicia Fox in 3:02 Following Friday's edition of Smackdown, it was reported on wwe.com that Nikki Bella will defend her Divas championship against AJ Lee, Paige and Tamina Snuka in a fatal four-way match. Tonight, alongside her twin sister Brie, Nikki dominated Alicia Fox in preparation for her pay-per-view match. Alicia amounted some offense, but the current Divas champion finished her off with the Rack Attack for the victory.
Nikki and Brie both celebrate the win in the middle of the ring until the loud warrior scream hits the sound system as the fans pop when Tamina Snuka comes out from the back and slowly stalks her way to the ring. Nikki and Brie stand frozen in fear in the ring until Paige and AJ Lee run out from the ringside area and attack the Twins by behind! Paige and AJ clear the sisters from the ring as they both call for Tamina to enter the ring. The 'Tropical Diva' nodding her head before returning backstage, deeming the two Divas in the ring unworthy of stepping into the ring with her at the moment. Just then, Paige turned her rival around in the ring and dropped her with the RamPaige to a loud pop from the crowd.
Cutting backstage, Renee Young introduces and stands by her guests at this time: Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The two Authority members step into frame to boos from the crowd as they grin from the reaction. Renee asks them about the condition of Mark Henry and Big Show following their spill off the stage this past Friday on Smackdown. Hunter went on to say that Henry had suffered from multiple burns on his back as well as a torn shoulder. Young asks on the subject of Big Show, but Hunter refused to answer the question. Stephanie butts in on the interview and answers for The Authority. "If Big Show wants to hurt one of our Authority members, he will suffer extreme consequences this Friday on Smackdown. When he will face Luke Harper in a singles match! Hunter and Stephanie laugh before walking off the set. We return ringside where The New Age Outlaws make their ring entrance as they prepare to do battle with The Usos - next!

| The Usos def. The New Age Outlaws in 6:01 Earlier in the year, these two teams engaged in a feud over the WWE Tag Team championships. Ever since losing the titles to The Usos, both Road Dogg and Billy Gunn haven't been seen since. Tonight, they looked to extract revenge for their prior losses, but the nostalgia act didn't get the job done as they ultimately fell to the Diving Splash that led to the Tag Team of the Year gaining the victory.
The attention then turned backstage where Dolph Ziggler stands backstage alongside Ryback and Cesaro. The trio, known by the fans as part of the coalition discus the huge tag team match later tonight that will pit Cesaro and Ryback against the team of Luke Harper and Rusev. Suddenly, the crowd pop loud as WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley walks into the picture with a smile on his face as he shakes hands with the three superstars. "I want to wish you guys luck later tonight against Harper and Rusev. I hate seeing the business that I love be ruined by The Authority. You guys can stop them. If I were able to lace up my sneakers once again, I'd be standing right beside you in this war." adds Foley before turning around where Randy Orton, another coalition member, enters the shot. Orton engages in a tension filled stare down with Foley. They both eventually crack a smile and shake hands as Orton tells Foley that he shouldn't worry about Seth Rollins' attitude from earlier in the night and assures the legend that he will wipe that little smirk from The Authority's pet this Sunday at TLC. "Are you going to unleash that viciousness that you gave me at Backlash in 2004, which you can watch for only $9.99 on the WWE Network?" adds Foley with a cheesy smile as he winks to the camera, while Orton agrees with his statement, promising the end of Seth Rollins' career as a graphic flashes across the screen, reminding us that Hulk Hogan will be live on RAW later tonight as he presents the Slammy award for Superstar of the Year!

| Returning to RAW, Titus O'Neil and Heath Slater make their way down to the ring as Slater forms the cheesiest smile on his face. The team known as Slater Gator enter the ring and a replay is shown from this past Friday Night Smackdown where Titus was given an early Christmas present from his partner: a crushing from Ryback. Slater takes a microphone and tells O'Neil that he asked The Authority to get the 'Gator' a surprise Christmas gift. Titus looks up to the ramp in anticipation of who his opponent will be... "Greenville... I'm here!" suddenly blares through the arena as the lights go out as 'The Eater of Worlds' steps out and makes his way to the ring much to the chagrin of Titus O'Neil as Heath Slater has ditched the ring and has gone into hiding behind the commentary booth.
Bray Wyatt def. Titus O'Neil in 2:01 This Christmas present was a very painful one as the deranged Bray Wyatt made quick work of the unsuspecting O'Neil. Heath Slater continued to watch from behind the commentary booth, not wanting anything to do with Wyatt as 'The Man of 1000 Truths' finished O'Neil off with the Sister Abigail for the pinfall victory.
Returning to his feet, Bray Wyatt looked over to the commentary booth where Heath Slater now squirmed in fear. Slater ditched ringside as he ran for his life up through the crowd as Titus is left inside the ring with the man who faces Dean Ambrose this Sunday on the WWE Network. Wyatt brought his attention back to the fallen O'Neil and plants him with another Sister Abigail. Wyatt stayed on his knees laughing as RAW cuts to a commercial break.

| Returning to RAW, the arena lights are still darkened as the theme of Bray Wyatt ominously plays in the shadows. The 'Eater of Worlds' has now risen to his feet before sitting down on his signature rocking chair in the middle of the ring. "The first time I saw her, she was sitting in this very chair. She had that caring smile, man. She once told me that there are very dangerous people out there in this world, and she was right. That's when I made it my mission to rid this world of those who hurt it. People like Dean Ambrose, man. They want to watch the whole world burn. They want to hurt anybody and everybody who stands in their way. But they don't care, man. They don't care who they hurt and what they do to hurt it. I'm the cure, and I showed the world on Smackdown - when I destroyed Dean Ambrose with a chair. It's for your best Dean, stay down. Sunday won't be pretty if you show your twisted face Dean." continued Wyatt while laughing at the end of his delivery.
Suddenly, sirens ring throughout the arena here in Greenville as the fans are in a buzz while Wyatt's eyes focus on the ring ramp. The sirens get louder as an ambulance backs up beside the entrance stage as the fans continue to buzz. Wyatt mouths some words in the ring, possibly wondering what this whole ordeal is. The sires continue to get faster until they stop and the guitar riff from Dean Ambrose's theme hits as 'The Lunatic Fringe' kicks the doors open from the emergency vehicle and hops out to a huge pop. Ambrose keeps a gaze on Wyatt as he detaches the brace around his neck and tosses it behind. He pulls out a table from the ambulance and drags it to the ring where Wyatt meets him in a brawl. With a table and the rocking chair in the ring, the two men exchange blows. Rights and lefts are traded in the middle of the ring as Ambrose gets the upper hand as he clotheslines Wyatt over the top rope and to the floor. Ambrose taunts Wyatt to return to the ring but 'The Eater of Worlds' refuses as he stalks his way back up the ramp. That is until Dean Ambrose set his focus on the rocking chair in the ring and picked it high up in the air. 'The Lunatic Fringe' teases throwing it over the top rope, but Bray Wyatt pleads from the ramp. To much fanfare, Ambrose shrugs his shoulders and launches it to Wyatt as it crashes on the concrete and shatters, while wood flies all over. In a shock to everybody in the arena, Bray Wyatt collapses to his knees with a tear strolling down his face while Ambrose celebrates in the ring - gaining the edge of momentum before he meets Wyatt in a Tables match this Sunday on at WWE TLC on the WWE Network.

Things turn to the stage where Chris Jericho stands behind the podium to welcome the next presenter for the night... Christian! 'Captain Charisma' makes his way onstage with a smile on his face as he is welcome by his former 'Vitamin C' partner. "In the span of a year, several WWE Superstars go out to that ring and want one more match! Sorry, force of habit. The WWE Superstars want to go out and put on the best match of the night to showcase why they belong in that very ring. And the nominees for Match of the Year are..." adds Christian as the nominees are shown on the titantron: Daniel Bryan versus Triple H from WrestleMania XXX, Dean Ambrose versus Seth Rollins from Hell in a Cell, Dolph Ziggler versus Cesaro versus Tyson Kidd from Smackdown, and finally, Team Authority versus Team Cena at WWE Survivor Series. As the buzz in the arena continues to grow, as Christian reveals the winner to be Team Authority versus Team Cena! Instead of any of the winners coming out, the theme of Tyson Kidd hits the speakers as he comes out on stage and snatches the award from the hands of the former World Heavyweight champion. "Wooo! I did it! I am the Match of the Year! Wooo! I did it without any help from anybody, not even my wife Nattie! Nobody can touch me, fact! I'm the best! Wooo!" finishes Kidd with a cheesy smile as he celebrates with the award as if he had just won the Stanley Cup. Luke Harper & Rusev (w/ Lana) def. Cesaro & Ryback in 13:09 All four superstars participating in the match looked to gain as much momentum heading into this Sunday's WWE TLC pay-per-view as all four men displayed raw amounts of power. Ryback and Rusev fought quite a bit throughout the match as they prepare for their United States championship match this Sunday. As well as Luke Harper and Cesaro trading blows before their match also this Sunday. Eventually before the finish, Rusev had Ryback trapped in the Accolade, but Cesaro came to the save as he delivered a huge Uppercut to Rusev! As 'The Super-Athlete' was stirring, Kane ran down to the ring and distracted the coalition members letting Luke Harper tag himself in and turning Cesaro inside out with a huge lariat to gain the pinfall.
Regaining their vertical base following the grueling match, Luke Harper and Rusev joined Kane in the middle of the ring and raised their hands in unison. That is until Cesaro rolled out of the ring to recover, which left Ryback alone in the corner of the ring. Kane nodded his head as he made sure Cesaro stayed outside of the ring while Rusev and Harper worked over Ryback. 'The Human Wrecking Ball' tried his best to fend off the two monsters, but he eventually fell to a huge lariat from Harper that forced him out of the ring. Ryback bounced off the ringside mat, as Cesaro broke free from corporate Kane and rushed over only to be met from a superkick from Rusev. Cesaro and Ryback both found themselves on the floor at ringside as Rusev, Harper and Kane all picked Ryback up in the air and planted him with a triple powerbomb through the commentary booth! Ryback laid motionless as The Authority members all smiled from their destruction as Lana talked trash to the fallen Ryback while Harper went over and stood tall over the broken Cesaro. Medical staff rush down to the ringside area to help Cesaro and Ryback onto stretchers and bring them backstage.
Transitioning backstage, Mick Foley stood beside Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler as the bodies of Cesaro and Ryback were carted out of the arena to the ambulances waiting for them. The gray is even better than the black background. Well done. You have a very nice layout that is pretty much all your own. Kudos. I was never a fan of the New Age Outlaws but if the Usos, the rightful Tag Team of the Year, can beat them again, then it's fine. Excellent opener as Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins have tremendous chemistry. Dolph winning is huge heading into his match with John Cena. Rusev for Breakout Star makes sense, good call. Whoa, Mick Foley! Seth Rollins winning was good but I would have had him win before or after his match so he doesn't come out in two segments. I still don't like Johnny Curtis and pairing him with Tyson Kidd I like even less. Kidd is great and I think Curtis would drag him down. The John Cena promo was rather well done. The Franchise tag suits him. YOU DICK! Daniel Bryan with the verbal low blows. Dolph with the save was fine build. I appreciate that you plug the WWE App and Network a lot. Realistic stuff. I'll admit, I'm intrigued by what you are doing with the Divas. Give me a Six Pack Challenge or Scramble Match, and a Paige title run please. Usos over NAO is great. Good Coalition stuff backstage. SLATER GATOR! Interesting to have Bray Wyatt defeat a heel. The ambulance stuff was similar to real life, and I assume it would lead to an Ambulance Match down the line. Tyson Kidd stealing the Match of the Year Slammy is very Owen Hart in a great way. Charlotte winning her NXT Showcase match is the way to go. Sasha for champion dammit! Hulk Hogan announcing Superstar of the Year is fine, Brock Lesnar winning is the way to go. Stardust over Diego was filler. Not sure how I feel about this main event as it might not be strong enough for Raw. Seems more like a Smackdown main event. The placement should probably be swapped with Dolph/Seth. Mick Foley joining the Coalition is interesting. I wonder if he'll step into the ring or what. Solid episode. Still some things I'm not a fan of, but I love the writing style and layout. Some of the ideas are different and I enjoy reading that. Keep this up. You have a bright future.

Alright, here we go with Progs' bullcrap. Just kidding. A good start to the show with the tag team of the year award being presented, New Age Outlawz back in the ring!? OH YOU DIDN'T KNOW!? I hate how they just stopped showing up. Hot opening contest between Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins and I'm just as surprised as Dolph to see him walk out as the winner. I'd like to see Seth start beating up J&J Security for being useless. Rusev winning Breakout Star of the Year was the right call. Seth Rollins winning Xtreme Moment of the Year was fine, basically just set up with him promoing on Orton. Should be a good match on Sunday. Johnny Curtis is so blah. I don't get why you brought him back as that, haha. I mean, I get you were going for something different and his 'revamping'. Anyway, decent win for him over the whogivesadamn Jack Swagger. Cool to have that face off between John Cena and Daniel Bryan (along with Dolph Ziggler), but I don't think Cena turning would be a 'This is Awesome' moment of the year. It just seems like a weird choice for being awesome. Kayfabe-WWE wise, anyway. WWE wouldn't find that to be awesome with him as a heel. Nonetheless, it made for a good segment. Nikki Bella beating Alicia Fox was expected, being Diva's Champion and all. I expect her to retain at TLC, too. Boom, The New Age Outlawz back in the ring! ...to lose to The Usos. Not surprised, obviously. Was a nice little moment for NAO to be in the ring one more time. Oh God, Mick Foley with a $9.99 plug? Jesus. Bray Wyatt just killed Titus O'Neil. Oh well. URR UHHH URRR UHHH. A good promo to follow up with Ambrose and Wyatt, should be a collision course on Sunday. Oh, I'm sorry, a 'demolition derby'. Stupid WWE. I think a match should have been here in between that promo and the award for Match of the Year. But, anyway, lol at Tyson Kidd for taking the award he didn't even win. I'm curious as to where you go with this whole thing with him. Or if the WWE even does in reality. Good showcase match for Charlotte and Natalya and you actually made the call to put Charlotte over, like they should have in reality. Paige winning Diva of the Year was fine, would have taken her or AJ Lee. Next up, Hulkamania brother! Brock Lesnar rightfully winning the Superstar of the Year award. Good. Stardust versus Diego. Blech. Who cares? I mean, good win for Stardust. Blah match, though. Finally, the main event with Luke Harper and Rusev getting the win over Cesaro and Ryback. Fair victory for them. Frigin ambulances. Mick Foley being on the side of The Coalition is certainly interesting. Adds another dynamic to this feud. A good edition of Raw with the Slammy Awards, but it seemed a little too long. Just seemed that way. Looking forward to see what comes of TLC.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 8th December 2014…Okay, it’s the go-home edition of RAW before Tables, Ladders and Chairs this Sunday – it’s also the Slammy Awards, aka the most awkward episode of RAW to book…so let’s see how this goes. Chris Jericho kicking off RAW as the host of the Slammy edition is nice to see, I guess this way he can’t miss out and get his Slammy stolen this way. I’m glad you’re having the Tag Team of the Year announced on the main show, rather than in real life. The New Age Outlaws get cheered? But they were heels last time they were on television. I guess their shtick gets them the babyface reaction, though. The Usos winning this was the right decision to make – I do like that Jimmy and Jey had a faceoff with Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, though. I liked it – but a rematch tonight? Blah. Dolph Ziggler defeating Seth Rollins made for a solid match, and this time the match length was appropriate to real life. Ziggler with the win was great to see, but it must put Rollins and Ziggler’s future directions in question. William Regal presenting Breakout Star of the Year is good to see, being the General Manager of NXT and all. Rusev winning this award made no surprise and allowed Lana to do her usual promo. Mick Foley presenting the OMG Moment of the Year award made sense – I hope Foley returns in a few weeks to host RAW, may I add. Rollins winning the award was fun, and it seems like how you spoke about Randy Orton, that this will be Rollins’ next big feud. This promo worked except for calling him the “Legend Killer”, which hasn’t been his nickname in years. Johnny Curtis continues to get a rub against Jack Swagger, who I hope you do something good with in 2015. This match went one or two minutes too long though, I must say. Daniel Bryan returning to RAW? Wow you are really trying to boost the ratings for RAW up. Bryan’s promo was good, but no real word on whether he can make a return or not from neck injury. John Cena interrupting? Huh, interesting conversation between him and Cena…and Ziggler. This was a strange segment given Cena being a newly turned heel. Could a match between Cena and Bryan be in the future? Nikki Bella defeating Alicia Fox was fine, you got the time right for this one, too. Wasn’t Alicia a heel not too long ago? It got the Divas Champion over, regardless. Brawl between the Divas, finally some feud progression going into TLC on Sunday. I think here would have been ideal to put the Diva of the Year award, though. The Usos defeating the New Age Outlaws was expected, and I’m thankful that this happened to get the WWE Tag Team Champions more notoriety as the men on the tag team mountain. Oh, here’s Randy Orton. Interesting. Why is Titus O’Neil a face all of a sudden? Disappointing to see, really. Titus works best as a heel, and honestly I’d have given him a push over Curtis Axel and Johnny Curtis in a heartbeat. Bray Wyatt needed a win, though I guess. It did make Dean Ambrose look foolish after taking eleven minutes to beat Johnny Curtis on SmackDown last week, though – whereas here Wyatt beat Titus in about two minutes. More promo between Wyatt and Ambrose is great, and this was really well done leading up to their confrontation this Sunday at TLC. I don’t like the tables stipulation for it, though. Maybe that’s just me. If Ambrose truly is unpredictable, he’ll involve a ladder regardless. So many WWE alumnus are here tonight. I loved Tyson Kidd and Natalya’s interaction here, though it was strange to see it happen after the Match of the Year was just announced. Good NXT Showcase with Charlotte defeating Natalya, putting over the NXT Women’s Champion some. Oh, here’s the Diva of the Year award. I like that Stephanie McMahon presented it – would have been extra heelish of her to take the award for herself, though. More time-worthy, too. Hulk Hogan announcing the Superstar of the Year award was worth it, I felt. Brock Lesnar with the win was fine, and Paul Heyman accepting it was too. I don’t think Lesnar should be Superstar of the Year, but whatever. No word on Brock making an appearance anytime soon? Disappointing. Stardust beating Diego was fine, very quick may I add. A very filler third hour, tonight. That said, the only back and forth match tonight so far has been the opening contest with Ziggler and Rollins. A decent tag team main event between Luke Harper, Rusev, Cesaro and Ryback – although this doesn’t feel like it should be the main event of RAW at all. John Cena should have been involved in this match somewhere. I can’t help but feel your build for Cena and Ziggler’s match has been incredibly weak considering it’s meant to be the main event. Very weak main event with Harper and Rusev winning for the Authority, and a nice conclusive angle to the show ahead of TLC. Overall, so-so show for the Slammy Awards. I must make a note that you need to cut back on how much you use WWE alumnus – this is one of the notable exceptions of course. But tonight felt like the former WWE superstars and legends just overshadowed the current roster. Additionally your build for Cena and Ziggler was weak – as was your TLC card which comes up on Sunday. Some of this show was more realistic than your previous efforts, but there’s still a way to go in my opinion. More decisive matches could be useful too, this show was angle dominated with the Slammys already, but there were more promos than competitive matches. Balance that out in future, try to formulate a balanced show.
