I meant for Mattel figures. Devitt can probably wear the paint but we aren't going to see it in figure form. I didn't even realize those were separate licensing deals, but I guess if one deal goes through DC and the other goes through WB(?) that probably makes sense. maybe, but they did make batman Rey. Batman is a DC property, and Mattel has the DC license. That's why they were able to make Bat-Rey, Joker Kofi, and Flash Rey. Same goes for stuff like Battle Cat Kofi because He-man is a Mattel property. Venom and Punisher are Marvel characters and Hasbro has that license.

Is this what got him so popular wih the IWC indy fanboys ? The body paint? It's legit all I EVER hear about when it comes to devitt No. He's had great matches in Japan against many good competitors there. I won't list them as you'd likely tell me they don't matter and that the big guy rules.

If he's going to paint himself like comic book characters in wwe maybe mattel can persuade him to pick DC heroes and villains instead of marvel guys.

He actually has to do something in order for him to be even considered a figure because nobody really knows who he is yet it took me awhile to remember who Finn Balor was for a moment

If we never even got a figure of him, I wouldn't even mind, we will see what he brings to the table once he is in the big time (RAW).

I don't know if we'll see a figure of him soon, but I can't wait for his debut.

(although is VERY susceptible to Big Guy hype )

For people like me, I like him because he put on enjoyable matches in the second largest promotion in the world. It's pretty annoying being generalised as "IWC indy fanboys" for not liking your generic meatheads like Ryback with no speaking ability nor ability in the ring.

I really don't think he generalized you as that for said reason. Hell, he didn't generlize you at all.

I'm sure there's a LOT of people who like Devitt strictly based on the body paint who've never seen him work. That's just the nature of the business. Same goes for Bullet Club. People probably have them in their avi on sites who've never watched any Japanese wrestling in their lives. Not saying you fall into this category but you're awfully defensive about something that is more often than not true in wrestling. That being said, I know a lot of "IWC fan boy" types who like both Devitt AND Ryback for what they do. Can't we all just get along?
