So the temp has dropped here the past few days. And I haven't really touched any of my figs for a while. So u pick up one of my FAVORITE (and most expensive) figures , Legends Bulldog, and I spread his legs out and boom. Both of them just fall off like it was NOTHING. I am so heartbroken right now and don't even wanna touch any of my other figures. This is a ing shame man. My night is ruined Is there any way at all I can fix this? Can I crack his crotch piece and stick another set of legs on there, glue it back on. And swap boots onto them?

You can crack the crotch and give him a new leg piece, just so long as you can get the remains of the old one out of his legs.
WTF happened to his eyebrows tho? This the shaved eyebrow variant?

This happened to my E23 Triple H ( now I gotta buy another. I'd be so upset if this happened to one of my more expensive or fav figures. Bad news man!

Looking at his face the temp isnt the only thing dropping. As god as my witness that bulldog has just been broken in half...dammit!! But no worries bro, crack it open and fix it up.

That's why Missy Hyatt doesn't have an action figure.

That's a nice figure. This will force you to learn to crack and fix-up, though. Something I also need to learn how to do. So maybe something good comes out of this in the end.

How cold did it get? Was it n your home or storage?
I ask because I live in western NC and we have had snow already and temps in the low 20s. We also had temps reaching single digits last year and nothing like this has ever happened to any of mine.
I am really sorry this happened, but was the figure played with much? By the looks of his eyebrow paint, he looks like he has been in some serious battles! I know that some loose collectors play with their figures and pose them in the finishing move or various other in ring dioramas, so maybe his legs were damaged that way. Just a little stress put on a plastic joint for a long period of time can weaken it and weaken it, and maybe the slightest repositioning was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Again, sorry this happened, especially to one of your favorites, but I have had figures in extreme heat and cold (high 0s during summer and low teens during winter) here with figures at home and in storage, and nothing has ever happened to my WWE, Star Wars, or GI Joes. There must be something more at work here than the cold temps.
I hope you can fix it. Good luck!

I am mostly a carded collector, but I do have a few extras that I have opened and set around my workroom. I don't play with them, but I do rearrange them from time to time, and none of mine have broken.
Granted I only display them standing and not really in any hard to achieve poses, but the joints seem sturdy enough.

It hasnt happened to me yet. I've only seen people on here complain about it. I keep my figures on display and do not play with them. Even with my figures just being on a shelf I've seen rubber break. Like the Cena Arm Bands, and my Vader's face mask have snapped and cracked with out ever having been played with.

This might be a really stupid question, but would putting some kind of oil on Cena's bands and Vader's mask keep them from drying out and snapping?

I would especially be pissed about the Vader mask.

Like a baby oil? Motor oil? Cooking oil?
