Naw, actually I think we need less boards. Some are just dead. Yes. I think they could do a mix of both though. Like separate the Entertainment board, but merge the Pic and Text fed boards. IMO they should: + Music + Movie + Television (maybe Movie and Television can share a board as "Movie and Television") + Current news and events discussion + NXT subsection in WWE section - Merge Pic and Text Fed - Photoshopped Wrestling Figs moves to a sub-board under the Graphic Design section. - Make WF:Canada and WF:UK sub-boards of WF Lounge - Make Wrestling Animations a sub-board of poses - Backyard bouts moved to sub-board for Other Feds My name is Kevin and I agree with this post. |

I think a lot of boards could be merged.
All video game topics can easily be in one board, for example.

If anything, I would say we need to condense the board more. There are plenty of boards that should be removed or combined. I think separating NXT and Divas is micromanaging, and honestly, a Diva board would become a weird pervert cesspool. The entertainment board isn't THAT busy. Breaking the subjects into different boards would just result in several smaller less active boards. I do agree that some boards have too many stickies, which is annoying especially when Ringside has 5 different announcements at the same time.  |

UK as a sub board of the Lounge? No way. There's 2 active boards in the UK section, more than enough to keep it going as its own entity. I would go the way of condensing though. Stuff like UK Banter, Classic & Sports Video Games, Backyard Bouts and Photoshopped Figures may have had their place in the past but they're pretty dead now. MMA: Other Feds hasn't had a post since early August, surely that has to go. UFC Board can just be an MMA board. I was just making some suggestions. The UK board is probably about as active as the classic board so I think they could justify making it a sub-board. The UK Board has its own sub-board for sports that is active though. Don't think you can have sub boards of sub boards, and it wouldn't fit in the US Sports board due to contrasting interests. |

I swear CMShowstopper was maxed on being smited. Hahah I loved the " Don't smite me cause your jealous rarls he made"... The rep points showed your opinion mattered, you wete an bunghole, or a valued member. Then theres people that get good karma just for being liked. They really didnt though. You could pick out the top 10 posters and they would be nearly split 50/50. You had guys that were good posters and would say something like, "I was never really a fan of The Rock" and come back the next day and they would be -1000 karma. Yeah I found that out, I wasn't a fan of Daniel Bryan, turns out thats the wrong opinion to have  got smited a fair bit. |

I can't say I care either way. It's not a huge inconvenience to me that Music, Movies and TV are all in one board.
I do agree that there are far too many stickied threads/announcements.

I think the Classic wrestling board is more active than the UK board and has been for years. UK Sports is a different matter obviously.
Also on the karma thing? Its best left where it is. Smiting was the weapon of the wiener on here.....Its best to leave the sort that wont say what they mean weapon-less to be honest.

Here's what I'd do to cut down on the amount of boards:
Under the General header:
- Lounge: Get rid of member introductions board, make one sticky thread for intros at the top. Also make the Gallery thread a sticky. Mod would be in charge of removing "intro" threads" and spam, as usual. Banter board would stay intact.
- Forum Support: Becomes one Board, no sub. All tech & forum questions go there.
- Entertainment changed to "Music, Movies & Television" and gets moved to a new board header titled "Entertainment" (see below)
- Sports Hub is fine the way it is, but gets moved to "Entertainment" Board
- No offense to Canada or the UK but why are they the only countries with sub boards? Can't the topics discussed on there be done in the lounge or any other threads?
- Graphics board is fine the way it is
Under Wrestling Figure Talk:
- Mattel is fine of course
- Jakks & Other figures should be combined into one board. Just call it "General Wrestling Figure Talk" Jakks Suggestions sub-board goes away.
- Figure Findings is fine the way it is
- We don't need a Ringside Fest Board, because all the discussion for RSF goes on in the stickied RSF thread
Under Wrestling Figure Fun & Hobbies
- Customs is fine
- Animations is fine
- Combine Photoshop & Poses/Action Shots into 1 board called "Wrestling Figure Photos"
- Figure feds combined into 1 board focused on pictures, with the text fed board being a Sub. Help & discussion would be sticky threads.
Classifieds is fine the way it is.
Under Wrestling header:
- WWE, TNA, Other Feds, Spoiler Room is fine
- Backyard bouts could become a sub-board under Other Feds
- Sims & Fantasy Booking could be under one board called "Fantasy Wrestling"
Move MMA board to the new Entertainment header, and just have one MMA board. Jakks figure board goes away.
Other Figures, etc. is fine the way it is
WFWFW is fine, but gets moved to Wrestling header
Video Games becomes 1 Board, keeping the Classic sub-board & add a Wrestling sub-board, also moved under the Entertainment header
And within each board clean up/organize the Stickies.

UK board has a lot of UK-centric talk, particularly in the sports board. Mixing it with the US Lounge would not only remove the unique vibe the UK boards have but the Sports in particular has talks that would not suit the US equivalent board. Different sports, different humour, different community. Would be ridiculous to put them together. I can't speak for Canada but I'm sure they feel the same way. Ask any UK Board regular here and they'll tell you the same. |
