I will watch.
I actually didn't care for the Halloween special. I'm not sure why either. I'd like to watch it without commercial breaks. I think that ruined it for me.

Unnecessary, but I love the Toy Story films, so I will watch this in theatres.

I think that ruined it for me. they broke their history of using the guy who voices the piggy bank....he's been in everything pixar until the halloween special I enjoyed it, but can understand why others wouldn't ** I want NEWT finished & released...it looked perfect & original

Agreed; the third one was as perfect a way to say goodbye to Andy's toys; a film I'm not ashamed to say I shed many a tear to...I'd still see it but I don't believe it needs to be made...

They should have stopped at 3 While I don't care much about today's movies, I am inclined to agree. Seems like they want to milk more cash out of the Toy Story franchise. Hard to believe next year is going to be the the 20th anniversary of the first.

I'm so pleased they're doing this. I don't care what anyone says, the ending to 3 was horribly unsatisfying and it left the series on a sour note (which was admittedly somewhat alleviated the rather sour note that 3 left).
And we all know the film is going to be awesome, so what's the problem with them doing more? If they leave it any longer, it won't be possible to do more because several of the voice actors are in their 80s/90s.

Ehhhhhhhhhh.....I think it's a bad idea from a story perspective. Toy Story 3 ended it perfectly. I like the idea of every few years having Holiday shorts on TV, like Toy Story of Terror last Halloween, and the Christmas short that will be on December 2....but another full length feature film sounds like a bad idea. There is no way that it is going to live up to Toy Story 3 or give us that kind of perfect closure.
But Disney is in the business o making money, not giving us perfect memories. So, the Toy Story franchise is a license to print money, so I'm not surprised at all that they are going to bastardize it.

That's so Hollywood. Writes a perfect ending to a franchise. Goes back 5 years later with reckless abandonment because they like money so much. I'm going to call this move the Ric Flair moving forward.

I love Toy Story's films too. But, what the hell are they going to do with the 4th one?

I really think 3 had the perfect ending and I'm all for them continuing in the short films personally. But at the end of the day it's a cash cow and it'll probably turn out pretty good.

I said this the day Toy Story 3 was announced. They are going to start pumping these movies out & kill the aura of this franchise. They can make the claim that this is for a new generation, but that's crap. It's all about the money. I loved the first two, but will not be watching this.
