| NXT PROFILE - C.J. Parker 220lbs - 6'3 - Gardner, Illinois x1 FCW Florida Tag Team Champion
The 'Moon Child' of NXT made his start in 2008, as he arrived on the independent circuit based in his hometown area of Illinois. C.J. Parker toured around the United States from the start, touring as north as Canada in addition, before finding his way to Florida Championship Wrestling in 2011. He made his debut in the summer, but he was unable to score a victory - that is until he alongside Donny Marlow won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championships. They held the titles for three months, and were one of the last teams to hold the titles before FCW closed its doors in 2012.
Come the summer of 2012, C.J. Parker became the 'Moon Child' as NXT started up as the developmental territory for the WWE. After unsuccessfully trying his hand at winning another pair of NXT Tag Team Championship belts, Parker decided that it was time for a change, and that came when he started dreading his hair, resembling a hippy - as he declared that he wanted to 'save the world'. Becoming disliked by NXT fans for his environmentalist ways, Parker preached to fans by insulting their littering, slobbish ways, wanting to make a real difference in the world. However, the fans continued to turn on him - and C.J.'s unorthodox in-ring style made him a target in the eyes of many other NXT Superstars - Parker losing to such talents as Colin Cassady, Tyler Breeze and Alexandr Rusev.
Still, C.J. Parker's career is still young. The young man still desires change in NXT, as the fans continue to boo. Sometimes, Parker's arrogance and ignorance overshadows his in-ring abilities, which lead C.J. to many of losses throughout his short tenure in the company. However the 'Moon Child' may one day have his moment in the sun - and on that day, Parker can finally brag that he has changed the world. |

| NXT PROFILE - Tyson Kidd 195lbs - 5'10 - Calgary, Alberta, Canada Finisher - The Dungeon Lock x1 World Tag Team Champion x2 WWE Tag Team Champion x1 FCW Southern Heavyweight Champion x1 FCW Florida Tag Team Champion
Possibly the most experienced superstar in NXT right now, Tyson Kidd is a veteran of the system, and particularly of the business. After training in Stu Hart's Dungeon in Calgary, Tyson Kidd in his teenage years also trained alongside former WWE Champion Bret 'Hitman' Hart, and even had his first match at a WWE live event in 1996 - aged 16 years of age. Following this experience, Tyson went on to perform on the independent circuit firstly in Canada as part of Stampede Wrestling - as well as going on a tour of Japan and the European independent circuit.
Well versed in the ring, Tyson originally signed with Deep South Wrestling in 2006 - although DSW quickly closed its doors as the developmental system for WWE rookies, and Tyson relocated to Florida Championship Wrestling in 2007 - quickly winning the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship with best friend David Hart Smith - as well as the FCW Southern Heavyweight Championship. Kidd debuted on WWE television with his girlfriend (now wife) Natalya in 2009, and after making an initial splash as three-time Tag Team Champions alongside David Hart Smith, Tyson decided to go solo, and he found it to be a difficult task.
In 2012, Tyson Kidd decided to go back to his roots, although it wasn't the roots that he originally found it to be. FCW had closed its doors now, and NXT was the place to be. In the past two years Tyson Kidd has found it difficult to adapt to the new wave of future WWE Superstars, finding losses to Leo Kruger, Kassius Ohno, Fandango, the Ascension, Tyler Breeze and various other stars. In 2014, Tyson wants to fix his career and finally progress as the rejuvenation of Kidd's career continues. However he hasn't won a match in the past six months, losing at every attempt.
A skilled veteran in technical abilities whilst retaining agility as a common trait, Tyson is the most experienced talent in the NXT locker room. His anger issues have gotten the better of him recently, but this all-round talent could still find success in NXT. Maybe once his recent slump passes, Tyson can find the next step to take his career. |

NXT News of the Week (March 13 - March 20, 2014)
- There was another NXT television taping held last night, filling up storylines up until late April. I will not be posting spoilers for said episodes, however it was announced that NXT has another live WWE Network special on May 29, 2014 entitled 'NXT Takeover'. In other non-spoiler news from the taping, WWE Superstars Dolph Ziggler, Tyson Kidd (as usual) and the WWE Tag Team Champions the Usos were advertised. (March 14, 2014)
- WWE have signed tattooed model Zahra Schreiber, who has already reported to the Performance Center. Schreiber was recently trained by independent star Jimmy Jacobs at the House of Truth wrestling school in Michigan. (March 16, 2014)
- WWE's Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon has been down at the Performance Center reportedly filming a WWE fitness DVD with the NXT Divas - including Sharra, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, Veronica Lane, Kendall Skye and Sasha Banks in addition to WWE Diva Naomi. (March 15, 2014)
- It was revealed several weeks ago that Lord Tensai had been renamed to Jason Albert. The WWE veteran's in-ring career as of right now appears to be finished, as he adjusts to a position as a commentator for now. Additionally, Albert teaches down at the Performance Center. (March 17, 2014)
- It was reported last week that Solomon Crowe worked at the last batch of NXT tapings two weeks ago - however it now appears that this won't air as it was intended to during this past week's show. It is unknown why management are holding off on Crowe's debut (he also worked a taping in November, but did not debut then either). Rumor has it that big plans are in store for Crowe when he finally makes his main roster debut. (March 19, 2014) |

| NXT PROFILE - Sylvester Lefort 200lbs - 5'11 - Nice, France
The entrepreneur known as Sylvester Lefort has been plotting his moves and making his connections count ever since he made his start in the business in 2006. Trained at the Lance Storm Wrestling Academy in Canada, Lefort made his start initially by working on the Canadian independent circuit. From here, Lefort branched out and decided to explore by competing for several European promotions, these in countries such as his home country of France, Italy and Spain.
Following these endeavors, Sylvester Lefort had gained a lot of exposure to the business, and gained his savvy intelligence of scouting talents by watching and experiencing matches show per show. Lefort continued to compete in Europe but additionally the United States and Canada - and in 2011 was the first ever French talent to wrestle in Turkey. He is also the only French wrestler to compete on Turkish soil to this very day.
In 2012 he signed with NXT, quickly making his debut and establishing himself as a rich French businessman - true to his persona. The Frenchman strictly managed talent in which he had previously scouted, these names including Scott Dawson and Garrett Dylan, and later expanding. In singles action, he was typically unsuccessful to superstars such as Mason Ryan, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. However now, Lefort has strictly gone into building up a talent roster of his own: which he calls the Legionnaires. Combined, he leads the Bulgarian Alexander Rusev and artist Aiden English, and they are quickly en route to make an impact in the WWE as shown on NXT every single week.
Sylvester Lefort is a slimeball in the eyes of many - the Frenchman often underestimated because of his methods to helping his clients to victory. He also has a very wealthy background, and therefore could acquire anybody he wanted to add to his Legionnaires. Lefort could be a threat to the NXT Heavyweight Championship one day, should he guide one of his Legionnaires to the title. And you have to believe that Sylvester Lefort is plotting for that aspirational goal right now. |

| NXT PROFILE - Sin Cara 180lbs - 5'7 - Mexico City, Mexico Finisher - The Senton Bomb
The bilingual high-flying sensation from Mexico, Sin Cara made his highly anticipated debut in 2011 in an arrival of a superstar that was highly touted by the WWE. Sin Cara made a great splash in racking up several great wins in his early career, defeating superstars such as Alex Riley, Jack Swagger, veteran Mexican star Chavo Guerrero and Tyson Kidd. The sensation's success however was arguably blundered by a persisting knee injury however, as he was sidelined twice in his rookie year with the company due to it.
In his absence, Sin Cara had been joined by a copy of him: entitled Sin Cara Negro. The two had a memorable feud which ended when Sin Cara defeated the imposter, causing him to unmask - revealing himself as Hunico. The masked man continued to try and make a name for himself going into 2012, as he repeatedly challenged for the Intercontinental and Tag Team Championships, but to no avail. After defeating more talents such as Wade Barrett and even Mexican veteran Alberto Del Rio, Sin Cara found himself in open air yet again - and in an intriguing move not known to many, the original man behind the mask left. And his replacement? None other than Hunico.
Sin Cara came to NXT in late 2013, saving fellow Mexico City native Kalisto from a beating from Hunico and Camacho (before Hunico became Sin Cara). The Mexicans would team up frequently, defeating Hunico and Camacho, and contending for a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships: however, they were unsuccessful in their efforts to dethrone champions Adrian Neville and Corey Graves. Still united, Kalisto and Sin Cara one day hope to score their first taste of gold each.
Whatever happened to the original Sin Cara is a mystery. Even more of a mystery, Hunico has apparently changed his ways from being an evil thug with Camacho to attempting to elevate the lucha-libre style into NXT alongside the young Kalisto. Their chemistry in the ring is phenomenal, combining high-flying, death-defying feats never before seen in the United States - and they could be very well on their way to NXT Tag Team Championship gold very soon. |

Welp, here we go with NXT. You're welcome. Adrian Neville and Corey Graves facing The Legionnaires is a hot start, glad to see the former get the victory as I don't much care for English and Rusev as a team. God damn it, The Ascension are such an awkward tag team. Tyler Breeze getting the win is fine I guess. I still don't like him that much and if anything, he is the uggo! BITCH. AIN'T NO DOLPH ZIGGLER. A good promo from Sami Zayn, I can imagine you going down the route of him struggling to capture the NXT Championship, especially with the whole resolution thing and the '42 weeks'. Could lead to a big payoff at the end of it all. Job squad losing to The Ascension was fair, gives the champs some momentum in to their match last week that I see them winning. Big Cass and Enzo Amore are bae 'n bae. Great segment between them. I don't know if something like that actually happened but I don't care it was great. Finally, a huge main event thast really gave the women a chance to shine in true NXT fashion. Expected retaining of the championship by Emma, I feel, and I don't have any complaints. Hopefully she can engage in some more interesting feuds down the road. A good edition of NXT, sir.

I like the quick summary of what's to come at the beginning of the show, it's a nice touch. These matches are uber detailed, I don't mind it since its a shorter show though. A good victory for Adrian Neville and Corey Graves, getting some payback on Kassius Ohno's behalf and of course in the meantime, retaining their title shot. Obvious victory for Tyler Breeze here and I loved his post-match promo. I think he'll do great things eventually. Great segment with Sami Zayn. I think his New Years resolution could become a running angle, similar to what Mr. Kennedy's Money in the Bank run would have been in real life where he said he would cash-in at WrestleMania 24. I think if you can avoid giving Zayn the title for 42 weeks it'll make for a great storyline when he finally wins it. Obvious victory for the Ascension, I'm a big fan of theirs. I hope they run with the titles for a very long time. I'm not the biggest fan of Enzo Amore if I'm honest, but I think his in-ring skill is decent. Big Cass is a future star I think without a doubt. Long ass match. Maybe too long. But I'm not surprised Emma retained the title having only won it at NXT ArRival. I definitely think Paige is superior, but with her possibly going to the main shows, it makes sense.

WWE NXT - Thursday 20th March 2014 - Winter Park, FL (#213) #WWENXT Taped: Friday 28th February 2014 - Broadcast on the WWE Network! "TURNING THE TIDES"
Tonight on NXT:
- It was three weeks ago where the Ascension managed to defeat Adrian Neville and Corey Graves to win the NXT Tag Team Championship - however tonight, after defending their rematch clause last week against Alexander Rusev and Aiden English, Neville and Graves get their rematch with Konnor and Viktor.
- After being disgraced by the Legionnaires two weeks ago, the 'King of Flight' Kalisto seeks retribution in a hefty amount, as the Mexican meets the 'Bulgarian Brute' Alexander Rusev tonight.
- We are expected to hear from the NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas for the first time since his party was crashed by top contender Sami Zayn two weeks ago.
- In his latest effort to turn the tide and gain a win, Tyson Kidd goes one-on-one with the 'Moon Child of NXT, C.J. Parker.
After the WWE signature aired, we went to the opening video package for NXT featuring Bo Dallas, the Ascension, Adrian Neville, Paige, Emma, Alexander Rusev, Tyler Breeze and Corey Graves, before then cutting to the Full Sail University where Renee Young, Jason Albert and Alex Riley introduced us to the show, running down the card: all the while, the theme of Bo Dallas was playing, as the NXT Heavyweight Champion made his way down the rampway looking quite annoyed.(00:01)
The theme of the NXT Heavyweight Champion was indeed playing, as a visibly irked Bo Dallas came pacing out to the ring among boos from the Full Sail crowd, a snarl on his face. As he approached the ring, a replay from his celebration party two weeks ago on NXT aired. "It was two weeks ago where Bo Dallas attempted to celebrate another successful title defense, and he was met with an unexpected guest in Sami Zayn" narrated Jason Albert, as Alex Riley responded, "I don't blame him! He got embarrassed at his own party, I feel for Bo. Dallas has beaten Sami before, and this is how he repays him!", defending the champion. As we cut back to the ring, Dallas sported his brand new 'BOLIEVE' shirt with his ring trunks, as Dallas clutched a microphone, the NXT Heavyweight Championship slunched over his shoulder.
"How dare you. How dare you, Sami Zayn! It was our party. We were all to gather and recognize my glorious reign as NXT Heavyweight Champion. Me, and all of my Bolievers. And the last time I checked, Sami. You weren't a Boliever - you were a loser", quickly snapped Bo. The NXT Universe booed the champion, as Dallas acknowledged this, nodding his head. "I agree with all of you! Ludicrous, isn't it? I am 294 days into my reign as your champion - and a zero like Sami Zayn came and crashed our party." The fans applauded this, as Bo obnoxiously declared: "But have no fear, all of my fans out there. Your NXT Heavyweight Champion will continue to save the day, just like I did Kassius Ohno. Just like I did Colin Cassady. Just like I did Adrian Neville...Leo Kruger...Antonio Cesaro...Sami Zayn", grinned Bo to the boos from the fans.
"You see, when I say that the last time I checked, Sami Zayn was a loser: he well and truly was. I beat him, I beat him clean in the middle of this ring to retain my title, and Zayn was ashamed of it! All of a sudden, Sami Zayn wants to come after me? He beats Antonio Cesaro, another guy that I beat - and suddenly he's everybody's hero? What a villain!" joked Dallas to boos from the NXT Arena, as the fans chanted 'No more Bo' at the champion. "But you know, with the support of all of my Bolievers, I am so happy to know that I am your trusted guardian of the future: because the future is full of Botential. And just like I will to this poor little guy, I am going to make Sami Zayn embarrassed to be in NXT" grinned Dallas as he dropped the microphone and removed his shirt ready for the first match of the hour. "Do you think Bo Dallas has an ego problem?" pondered Renee Young, rhetorically.
(00:06)
NXT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BO DALLAS def. CAL BISHOP - Bo was wrong with this one - his opponent Cal Bishop was very much bigger than the NXT Heavyweight Champion: but he delivered in his word by saying that he was going to control his opponent tonight, allegedly like he promised he would Sami Zayn in a few weeks. "Bo needs to now focus on this match, because this could wind up being a huge upset for this Performance Center prospect, Cal Bishop" noted Jason Albert about the long-haired, 6'6 former NCAA All-American. Bishop initially brawled with Dallas and made a good effort in taking Dallas down two or three times - but the NXT Heavyweight Champion managed to slyly dropkick the knee and later sent Bishop into the ring post - as Bo proceeded to be relentless with his mudhole stomps onto the abdomen of Bishop. "But here comes the dangerous side of Bo Dallas. This is the side that everybody forgets out when it comes to our NXT Heavyweight Champion: he's underhanded when he has to be, but when he's in control, he is as destructive as the next guy" noted Alex Riley. Bishop attempted to fight back, but Bo cut it short, connecting with a Bo-Dazzler to put Bishop away in 3:38. n/a
The NXT Arena booed as Bo Dallas' hand was raised in victory, as referee Dan Engler handed Bo his NXT Heavyweight Championship. Dallas posed with the title among the boos, almost soaking in the boos with a wide, grinning smile whilst heading up the rampway. "Bo Dallas with the win tonight, and it looks like he's regained his cool - but you've got to wonder how Dallas plans to beat Sami Zayn a second time when they meet for the NXT Heavyweight Championship." mentioned Renee, as Albert added: "Bo has cheated to defeat Sami before, but the top contender is a different machine to the first time: and he'll be wiser when he meets Dallas again". An advertisement aired promoting WrestleMania XXX, live on the WWE Network on April 6, 2014.
(00:12)
The NXT announce team discussed two weeks ago via a replay we saw Kalisto take on Aiden English of the Legionnaires in a match that could have been Kalisto scoring the biggest win of his career to this point - but it wasn't to be as Sylvester Lefort got involved, and the 'Artiste' would score the win. Then, after the match the Legionnaires further berated the Mexican high-flyer, as Alexander Rusev applied the Accolade on Kalisto. "What must be going through Kalisto's mind knowing that he has requested this match with the 'Bulgarian Brute'?" questioned Jason Albert.
In the backstage area, the 'King of Flight' Kalisto was standing with interviewer Devin Taylor, as Taylor asked Kalisto: "After being attacked by him two weeks ago, you personally requested this match tonight with Alexander Rusev. What is your strategy going into this match with the very big, very mean Bulgarian?". Kalisto responded humbly, "I want to prove to Alexander Rusev and I want to prove to the NXT Universe that I am much more than people may think of me. Yes, I am from Mexico City. Yes I am a luchador. But I have pride, I have dignity, and tonight I'm going to show everybody that me, Kalisto is a fighter and will not take anything without giving something back". Kalisto was wished luck as he nodded and walked away. ( 00: 14)
SASHA BANKS def. NAOMI - This was Naomi's first match back from a potentially career threatening eye injury, which she suffered on Monday Night RAW a few months ago, as she challenged Sasha Banks of the BFFs. However Naomi was outnumbered tonight without the assistance of fellow Funkadactyl, Cameron - whilst Banks was accompanied by Charlotte and Summer Rae of the BFFs. 'The Boss' disrespected Naomi early, as she slapped the WWE Diva around in a mat-wrestling affair before Naomi started to fight back, delivering a headscissors on Sasha before being distracted by Charlotte at ringside. Naomi attempted to keep in the game, but Banks managed to keep on top of the Total Divas star with a sleeper hold - which she did with a handstand at one point. Banks continued to work over Naomi until the Full Sail crowd rooted Naomi back into this match, as Naomi fired back again catching 'the Boss' with the Rear View - but as Charlotte distracted the referee on the apron, Summer Rae slipped in and nailed Naomi with the Summer Solstice kick to the back of the head - which Sasha then followed with the Bankrupt followed up with the Bank Statement, forcing Naomi into submission in 6:23! **
The crowd booed as Sasha Banks' hand was raised in victory, joined by her fellow BFFs, Charlotte and Summer Rae in the ring. Banks continued to celebrate as the BFFs were continuing to show their presence in the NXT womens division. (00:22)
In their dressing room, Adrian Neville and Corey Graves were shown preparing for their rematch with the Ascension coming up later tonight. As Neville stretched out, Graves stopped and turned to Adrian. "So tonight, we need to get those NXT Tag titles back. We need to hit the Ascension hard early. Have you got a strategy for this?" asked the 'Savior of Misbehavior', to which Adrian responded, "I have good faith in us winning tonight. I wouldn't worry". Corey tried to argue with him, saying "Adrian, we need to think of a good way to get our titles back. What if we lose tonight?" he asked. The 'Man That Gravity Forgot' looked at Graves and told him "Whatever we do, our abilities is what matters. And tonight, we can get this job done. We can become NXT Tag Team Champions". Neville continued to stretch as Corey was left in thought - a strange switch of roles as Adrian appeared determined yet vacant, whilst Corey was the thinking man of the team tonight.
ALEXANDER RUSEV def. KALISTO - After previously requesting this match for his own self respect, the 'King of Flight' was here to fight with the much bigger 'Bulgarian Brute'. Alexander Rusev was accompanied as usual by Sylvester Lefort, but without Aiden English for this bout. Kalisto meanwhile started off wisely, as he ducked a right hook from Rusev and springboarded off the second rope with a forearm smash momentarily stunning Rusev, before sliding out of the ring, allowing Rusev to chase him to which Kalisto caught him off-guard with a very innovative 180-degree turning moonsault plancha, landing on Rusev and catching the big man off his feet! Kalisto slid back inside as Lefort attended to Rusev: and that's when the 'King of Flight' connected with a follow-up corkscrew plancha on Rusev, once again knocking the Bulgarian down! Kalisto then slid back inside with the NXT Universe behind him - attempting a third one but as Kalisto sprung off the second rope and flipped over the top onto Rusev, Alexander caught him - the Bulgarian delivering a sickening powerbomb right into the steel steps! Rusev was relentless from here, as he dragged the Mexican inside and began to work away on him, including a Bulplex covering Kalisto before lifting his head up: just toying with his much smaller opponent. "Alexander Rusev is a heartless man. Look at how he is messing with Kalisto, and brutalizing him in that ring" commented Renee. Rusev knocked Kalisto out with a jumping side kick temporarily: but Kalisto was still trying to crawl around and make a comeback - which allowed Rusev to apply the Accolade to boos finally causing Kalisto to submit at 4:36. "Kalisto tried and proved to everyone that he has heart tonight on NXT, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Bulgarian 'Super Athlete'." added Riley. **1/4
Alexander Rusev refused to release the Accolade after the match to boos, as the 'Bulgarian Brute' continued to stretch Kalisto as Sylvester Lefort taunted the 'King of Flight' in the ring. The Legionnaires were once again mocking the luchador, until Sin Cara hit the ring! Sin Cara ducked a clothesline attempt by Rusev as Lefort bailed: the WWE Superstar also from Mexico City connected with a flying dropkick sending Rusev backwards: as the 'Bulgarian Brute' retreated. Sin Cara scared Rusev and Lefort off with a fake plancha before attending to Kalisto in the ring, as Rusev was seething: Lefort trying to restrain his Legionnaire on the rampway. "Sin Cara saves his fellow amigo, but I have a bad feeling that this will lead to bad news when Rusev gets his revenge" noted Albert. (00:31)
A replay aired, taking us back to last week where best friends Emma and Paige collided in a match for the NXT Women's Championship - which the Australian managed to retain against the 'Anti-Diva'. However after her loss, Paige refused to shake the 'Dancing Queen's hand in respect after an epic main event, and instead stormed off to the backstage area.
Renee Young announced that next week the Australian Emma planned to call out her friend Paige to the ring to try and fix their friendship, as Riley commented: "Jealousy has ruined the friendly competition, and now you have to believe that Paige will do anything to get her passion back - that passion being the NXT Women's Championship". (00:32)
- NEXT WEEK: Two weeks after their latest classic clash for the NXT Women's Championship, the NXT Women's Champion Emma calls out her friend Paige in the ring in an attempt to fix their recently jaded friendship.
We cut to a WWE.com Exclusive, filmed last week following Paige losing to Emma and storming off after their NXT Women's Championship clash. The 'Anti-Diva' was pacing up and down in an attempt to calm down after losing, when the overwhelmed former champion was approached by Summer Rae and the BFFs. Paige looked at them, as Summer smiled and said "you're showing your true colors. It's about time". Paige raised an eyebrow at them, as Charlotte commented, "I think I like this Paige". Sasha Banks agreed, adding "This Paige belongs in the BFFs". Paige continued to look in confusion as the video cut out, forcing viewers to form their own opinion of this occurrence.
C.J. PARKER def. TYSON KIDD - The 'Moon Child' of NXT came out to the ring with a picket sign reading 'There is NO Planet B', C.J. Parker walking down to the ring ready for action tonight when he attempted to take the microphone away from ring announcer Eden - just for the theme of Tyson Kidd to cut him off immediately. Out came the WWE Superstar with an angry look on his face, as Renee Young commented: "Tyson Kidd has been on a losing streak for a while in NXT, and you can tell that he wants to fix this once and for all, look at that determined look on his face tonight". Kidd immediately hit the ring and went after a waiting C.J. Parker, as Parker attempted to pound on Kidd upon entry just for Tyson to outwrestle Parker with his superb technical ability, then connecting with a dropkick on Parker: also applying the Dungeon Lock on the 'Moon Child', just for Parker to quickly grab the ropes. Tyson worked over Parker for a lot of the match, as Kidd soon attempted the top rope neckbreaker just for Parker to sidestep it, and Parker suddenly rolled Kidd up with the tights for three in just 3:38! "What!? gasped Alex Riley. n/a
The fans booed as C.J. Parker quickly rolled out of the ring, the 'Moon Child' celebrating his first win in quite a few weeks tonight on NXT! Parker was jumping up and down as he yelled "I did it!" before leaving with the biggest upset in recent memory. "I can't believe it, but he's done it!" exclaimed Jason Albert, as Tyson Kidd was an angry man inside of the ring. Kidd slammed his fist against the canvas and shoved the referee Drake Wuertz down in anger and frustration, as Renee Young commented, "This can't be good. Poor Tyson Kidd, he's tried so hard, but once again he has been upset here on NXT".
(00:38)
In the backstage corridor, Bo Dallas was shown unwinding as he walked with the NXT Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder. Devin Taylor soon approached him, as she asked the NXT Champion about any words for Sami Zayn, who will be here next week. Bo commented: "If Sami Zayn really wants to get into it next week, then that's fine. Because I have the people behind me. I'm strong, I've been NXT Heavyweight Champion for ten months now and I'm not letting it go" he commented. Suddenly, he was cut off as NXT General Manager John Bradshaw Layfield appeared. "What do you want?" asked Dallas, whilst JBL grinned from ear to ear. "Well Bo, I saw your performance out there tonight, and I gotta say, I'm real proud of you. I'm real proud that NXT is being represented by a champion like you. Of your caliber".
Bo smiled and nodded his head in agreement, as Layfield concluded. "Which is why I have a gift for you. Next week, I have something for you I think you'll appreciate. Because next week, you Bo Dallas, will go one-on-one with Dolph Ziggler!" Bo's nod turned into a look of shock, as JBL walked away. Bo was left distraught by this revelation, as Dallas called for Layfield. "Are you serious? Are you serious!? You can't do this to me! I'm the NXT Heavyweight Champion!"
( 00: 39)
- NEXT WEEK: With the NXT Heavyweight Champion ready to defend the title against Sami Zayn in the foreseeable future, John Bradshaw Layfield has decided to test Bo Dallas, as he takes on the former World Heavyweight Champion, WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler.
Moments before their NXT ArRIVAL rematch, the Ascension were shown getting prepared to defend their NXT Tag Team Championships for the first time under a dimly lit light which silhouetted their faces. "One month ago, we obliterated Adrian Neville and Corey Graves to win the NXT Tag Team titles." began Konnor. "One month from ArRIVAL, we obliterate Adrian Neville and Corey Graves to retain the NXT Tag Team titles", followed up Viktor. "You see, it's going to be a long winter for NXT" continued Konnor, as Viktor concluded: "We got these titles, and we aren't letting them go. Tonight, Neville and Graves: get ready to descend for the Ascension!" Konnor slapped Viktor on the chest, as they then set off ready to battle in our main event.

An advertisement aired, promoting the WWE Network - available now, for $9.99 a month plus six-month commitment!

#NXTTagTitle NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP THE ASCENSION (c) vs ADRIAN NEVILLE & COREY GRAVES
It was three weeks ago when the lengthy tenure as NXT Tag Team Champions of Adrian Neville and Corey Graves came to a sudden end at the hands of the Ascension, as Konnor and Viktor defeated the unexpected allies to capture the gold at NXT ArRIVAL. However since then, the 'Man That Gravity Forgot' and the 'Savior of Misbehavior' have gone out of their way to avenge the departure of friend Kassius Ohno, as well as prepare for this rematch tonight. Meanwhile, Konnor and Viktor wanted to prove a point and make their first title defense successful against the former champions. Adrian Neville made his way out to the ring first, looking very determined about this match, as the 'Jumping Geordie's journey to this point was narrated by Alex Riley. "It's got to be have been a month of redemption for Adrian Neville. He lost the NXT Tag Team Championship gold to the Ascension last month. He accidentally cost Kassius Ohno his career. But this month we have seen a new, more determined and dangerous Neville, and he wants to complete the month by becoming a three-time NXT Tag Team Champion". Neville received a big ovation from the NXT Universe, as Corey Graves followed to a similar effect. The 'Savior of Misbehavior' wandered to the ring looking equally as focused, but appeared to have a plan, alluding to earlier tonight. "It is outstanding, how these two men have managed to remain allied after all of this time. They are one of the best tag teams in NXT right now" commented Jason Albert.
The Ascension followed, roaming through the dark with their NXT Tag titles, as Konnor and Viktor paced to the ring with the red face paint on. "It's strange that ever since Konnor and Viktor started wearing this demonic red paint and changed their look, that they have become unstoppable" noted Renee Young. However that's when Neville and Graves decided to strike, as Adrian suddenly dove over the ropes onto the champions with a springboard plancha! Neville stood tall over the Ascension, as Corey Graves looked on in slight confusion from the ring. Graves then followed with a splash over the ropes onto a resurrected Konnor, and the challenger then hit the ring awaiting their opposition. Neville decided to start off, as Viktor decided to start for the Ascension, as the bell finally sounded, skipping the in-ring introductions for this championship encounter.
Neville decided to keep on top of Viktor, as he kicked him low a couple of times in the thighs, Adrian chopping the big man down before delivering a front dropkick into the jaw of Viktor. Neville immediately followed with a Shooting Star splash for a two count, as Neville quickly tagged in Graves. The Pittsburgh native started with a Greco-Roman knuckle lock on Viktor followed up with a northern lights suplex, but Viktor kicked out at two. Corey then continued to wrench the arm of the lighter Ascension member - Graves continuing with a clothesline for his adversary. The 'Savior of Misbehavior' resumed, as he dropped Viktor with a double foot stomp on the chest, then getting into it with some focused lefts and rights. The NXT Universe were chanting for Graves, as Corey continued with some more stomps on Viktor until Viktor powered up and connected with a sudden belly-to-belly suplex on Graves before getting the tag to Konnor. "This is how dangerous the Ascension can be with their unpredictably" spoke Albert.
Viktor then picked Graves up and slugged him in the temple, the larger member of the Ascension continuing to pound away at the temple of Corey Graves in an attempt to weaken him. "And now the champions methodically picking apart Corey Graves" narrated Riley as Konnor picked Graves up and launched him across the ring to the ringside floor with a fallaway slam - which allowed Viktor to line Corey up and drop him with a big clothesline on the floor! Graves was down, and referee Jason Ayers didn't witness this, as Viktor then picked Corey up and scooped him back inside for a two count cover attempt by Konnor. This allowed the quick tags to be made as Konnor made the tag to Viktor, who continued with the elbows into the head of Graves. "Now watch as the Ascension continue to pound away at the noggin of Graves. This will fuzz up his vision and made it harder for him to fight back This is very smart on the part of the NXT Tag Team Champions" analyzed Albert as Viktor connected with an elbow drop for another near fall on Graves. Viktor locked in a sleeper lock, as Neville now began to get restless on the apron.
The 'Man That Gravity Forgot' began to stamp his foot on the apron trying to get a rhythm going among the NXT Universe, as Graves began to stir in the sleeper hold, but just as Corey began to strike back with some right hands and make the hot tag to Neville, Konnor was with the referee Ayers, and the tag was not legal! The referee argued with Neville on the apron as Konnor and Viktor meanwhile brought Corey back into their corner and delivered a double flapjack on the Pennsylvanian behind the referee's back! Viktor made the cover to which Graves still kicked out - tagging in Konnor now. Konnor pounded the canvas as he stalked a groggy Graves - Konnor then hooking the arms of Graves to go for a full nelson slam just for Graves to break free and connect with a neckbreaker on Konnor! Both legal men were down now, as an agitated Adrian Neville slapped his hands together to get the NXT Universe behind Graves again: Corey slowly crawling before using the ropes to get up and realizing Viktor had gotten the tag - a big boot for Viktor as the tag was made! "Here's where things change!" said Renee.
Adrian Neville jumped the ropes and bounced off the ropes, connecting with a big hurricanrana on Viktor for two, as Neville targeted Konnor at ringside, connecting with a dive through the ropes onto the illegal man! Adrian then re-entered the ring and went up to the top rope: Neville coming off with a neckbreaker for two once again. The 'Jumping Geordie' was breaking orbit tonight, as he once again had to shy Konnor away as he tried entering the ring - a dropkick into the chest of a crouched Konnor sending him to the floor again. This allowed Viktor to try and come from behind with a German suplex just for Neville to flip and land on his feet, Neville with a dropkick to the knee followed up with a flip-over neckbreaker taking down Viktor! Neville went up to the top rope to go for the Red Arrow - and it connected! "Can Neville capitalize!?" asked Riley. Neville covered Viktor but Konnor broke it up, as Corey Graves rested at ringside. "And Konnor makes the save. You can see Corey over at ringside trying to recover from that beating earlier on, but it's Neville against both members of the Ascension in there!" Neville tried to fight Konnor off for a third time, as Adrian kicked Konnor in the gut, just for Viktor to clothesline Neville's head off! The Ascension then got into position with Neville between them. "Is this it?" asked Albert. And just like that, Konnor and Viktor struck Neville with the Fall of Man, giving the Ascension the victory in 12:21!
WINNER AND STILL NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: THE ASCENSION (**3/4)
"Where was Corey Graves?" asked Renee, as the Ascension's hands were raised as the victors in this match. Viktor and Konnor stood tall over an unconscious Adrian Neville, the Ascension claiming their NXT Tag Team Championships following their first defense made tonight. As Konnor and Viktor began to leave slowly, the 'Man That Gravity Forgot' slowly got to his feet with help from the ropes and referee Jason Ayers...before being chopblocked by Corey Graves from behind! "No! What!?" asked Albert, as the NXT fans booed this. The 'Savior of Misbehavior' stomped away at the leg of Neville relentlessly to boos, as Graves yelled at Neville, "you blew it! You blew this!"
Graves picked the leg of Neville apart, as he then rolled out of the ring and dragged Neville to the ring post, Corey locked in a version of the 13th Step around the ring post! "That slimeball Corey Graves! He was in it purely for the gold!" commented Renee. "This is fantastic! This is the genesis of Corey Graves!" retorted Alex Riley, as Neville remained riving in pain whilst referee Jason Ayers tried to pull Graves off of the hold! It finally worked, as Graves appeared to be finished with Neville, who was in pain still wrapped around the ring post...but that's when Graves grabbed a steel chair from nearby, tossing it right across the knee of Adrian Neville stuck against the ring post! The NXT Universe booed Graves loudly still, as Adrian screamed for help. "This man is twisted, Corey Graves has snapped, and it's because of his own selfishness" commented Renee, as Alex Riley responded again. "I think it's brilliant. What a brilliant move on the part of Corey Graves". Graves backed up the rampway with a half-smirk on his face, as Neville continued to clutch his knee, as NXT went off the air. (00:57)

Strong start with a well written Bo promo. As expected, Bo picks up the win.
Kalisto vs. Rusev, as mismatched as it is, actually sounds quite appealing. Maybe it's because I have no idea how you'll book it!
Big win for Sasha against an established Diva and more good build for the BFFs. The interference was a good choice for the finish - fits the bitchy, pack mentality of the group.
I sense the faintest of hints of disharmony between Graves and Neville. When it all goes wrong against The Ascension is Graves going to turn and Neville and blame him?
Good booking for Kalisto/Rusev - true David vs. Goliath stuff. That third plancha was really the best way of cutting off Kalisto at the legs and sealing the win for Rusev. It was the only thing you could do. I think that the line of commentary from Riley at the end more than afforded Kalisto some credibility despite the loss. The only thing I dislike is two much bigger guys being scared off by Sin Cara, especially Rusev. I feel if he had a chair in tow or something to "even the odds" it would be more believable.
Hate Emma. I see Paige attacking next week and a rematch set-up. Paige to win! I don't think Paige belongs in the BFFs though, so I hope you don't go down that route.
Oh wow, I thought things would start to pick up for Tyson. A loss to CJ Parker is bad.. I don't know how far down he can be pushed. Again, it only means he'll be pushed further when the tide turns.
Bo vs. Dolph? Cool, I like it.
Fantastic write up for the main event. I predicted the win for The Ascension here, good booking. And the turn on Neville was well booked also. This should prove a very nice rivalry.
Once again a solid show and very well written. Kudos!

Digging the new layout. Crisp. Like the note of the BOLIEVE shirt and the promo was very well written. I don't recall who Cal Bishop is, but fine win for Bo Dallas. I'm interested in the Kalisto/Legionnaires angle. I believe that Naomi returning to a match on NXT is cool. Reminds me of when a baseball player gets hurt and has a rehab stint in the minors. Good stuff. Sasha Banks winning though is something I'm never against. Kalisto vs. Alexander Rusev would be a fun David vs. Goliath match. This had the correct result. I can see Rusev moving towards the NXT Title somewhere down the line. I figured Sin Cara would make the save. Legionnaires vs. Lucha Dragons should be fun. I'm intrigued by Paige not shaking Emma's hand. I do think she should be on the main roster soon. Love the little addition of the "Next Week" stuff. At first, I wasn't happy to see CJ Parker beat Tyson Kidd, but it seems like this will lead to a heel turn or something for Kidd, which is great. You are nailing this Bo Dallas character. Dolph Ziggler/Dallas is a fresh matchup for sure. Great, lengthy main event write up and figured the Ascension would retain. I saw the Corey Graves heel turn coming, but that's just because you have written the build well here. You have a lot of good things going. Rewriting NXT can be difficult because they do so many things well in real life, but you are handling it well.

Alright, NXT time. Bo Dallas opening the show up was fine and Renee Young questioning if he has an ego problem to conclude things was great, because, of course he does. Not sure if you'll go with Sami Zayn beating him right off, though. A good win over whoever Cal Bishop is/was to start things off for Dallas. I think a positive for Kalisto is he can speak some English. *Stare at Sin Cara*. Curious as to what you go further on with for him and The Legionnaires. Maybe he'll bring Sin Cara in to combat against them? We'll see. Naomi having a match on NXT was good, especially since she was giving the decent rub for Sasha Banks. Definitely puts Banks over. Ah, poor Graves and Neville. They aren't going to win the belts back tonight. Alexander Rusev defeating Kalisto was expected, as was - to some extent - Sin Cara coming in to bring a stop to things. LU-CHA! LU-CHA! LU-CHA! I actually like them as a team. If only Sin Cara could speak English. Bitch. The problem with Emma is that god damn dancing gimmick. Paige in the BFFs? Yeah, right. Wait, what the hell? CJ Parker won a match? WHAT THE HELL!? HE ISN'T SUPPOSED TO WIN ANYTHING, DAMN IT! This was clearly more towards Tyson Kidd's loss than CJ Parker's victory, however, and I hope it can lead to Kidd eventually snapping out of things and doing something worth while. Bo Dallas versus Dolph Ziggler next week, huh? Thats certainly going to be a big main event, especially with a guy as popular as Ziggler is on the main roster. I dig it. Finally, a good main event for the NXT Tag Team Championships with The Ascension, as expected, getting the victory. Corey Graves not being there at the end to help Adrian Neville certainly brings some curiousity... and that curiosity is quickly answered as he turns on Adrian Neville. These two have had tension lately and I'm glad it has finally come to this. Looking forward to a feud between them. A good edition of NXT, you're doing a good job in creating your own NXT world.

NXT News of the Week (March 20 - March 27, 2014)
- NXT will be going on the road for WrestleMania Axxess week, coming up next week. Right now only a list of featured Superstars from the roster have been revealed: these including Bo Dallas, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, William Regal, Corey Graves, the Ascension, Paige, Leo Kruger, Emma, Tyler Breeze, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Mojo Rawley and Sylvester Lefort. Interestingly, recent independent star and current NXT roster member who has yet to debut, Eddie Edwards will also be there. This could indicate that Edwards may debut on NXT as soon as the next TV tapings. (March 24, 2014)
- Scotty 2 Hotty will reportedly be at the next NXT tapings in a couple of weeks. Scotty released this information through an interview he did earlier this week and hinted at a comeback to the ring. It is unknown about his motives, but it could be that Scotty will join the Performance Center line-up as a trainer of some sort. (March 22, 2014)
- On the injury report front: Legionnaires member Scott Dawson continues to rehab his torn ACL. Dawson previously appeared back in September before being sidelined. He could be expected back as early as June. Enzo Amore's leg is almost healed now, as the vignettes with Colin Cassady previously aired back in February. Mojo Rawley was quietly taken off the active Rawley was quietly taken off of the active roster due to shoulder problems. He should be able to return at the next tapings. In kayfabe injuries, Adrian Neville and Bayley have been written off for the time being to further their respective situations with Corey Graves and Charlotte - they aren't listed as having competed at the tapings taped last week (which covers episodes of NXT up to late April). (March 25, 2014)
- Not much to report on this week with management gearing up ready for WrestleMania XXX next week. |

WWE NXT Live Event: March 21, 2014 Fort Pierce, FL - Fenn Center
- This was a strong show, despite some notable exemptions from appearing tonight (namely: Adrian Neville, Bayley and the Ascension). There was approximately 150 people here, which is still quite good considering that this room typically holds 400 people. Xavier Woods, Charlotte, Sami Zayn, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady did autograph signings before the show.
| - Baron Corbin def. Slate Randall in a short opening contest. Baron's entrance is a sight to see in person. He's pretty good in the ring in his offense, but I think he still looks green at times. Slate Randall kind of exposed him and actually looked a little better in this match, and someone I would like to see make it onto NXT television properly at some point. Corbin got the win with the impressive End of Days finisher. He got a good pop from the crowd.
| - NXT Women's Champion Emma def. Sasha Banks to retain the title in a solid women's match. The crowd actually dug Emma, who was in full dancing mode tonight - which got her a good reaction whenever she danced. Sasha Banks still has a little work to do as she seemed gassed by the end of the match, but her character is so easy to dislike, and it showed. A lot of fast-paced chain-wrestling in this one surprisingly, and when Sasha got heat on Emma the crowd actually cared about it. Emma eventually got the win at the ten minute mark with the Emma Lock. Really impressive stuff in contrast to the main roster Divas division.
| - Danny Burch & Oliver Grey def. Buddy Murphy & Wesley Blake in quite a surprising match. It was weird to see Oliver Grey portray a heel persona alongside Danny Burch. They came out wearing leather pants and acted out as mean Manchester thugs. Almost like Wade Barrett multiplied. Just strange to see him with this change in gimmick. Also, I think this was Buddy Murphy's return to the ring from injury. Murphy and Blake wore matching attires and actually seemed good in their offense and teamwork. The crowd got behind them, too. Burch and Grey hit a double brainbuster on Blake for the win. They talked trash to fans after the match. I could get behind this.
| - Alexander Rusev def. Colin Cassady in a fun match. The sizes of both of these men made this match particularly interesting. Of note, Enzo Amore accompanied Big Cass and wasn't on crutches, opposing Sylvester Lefort who was with Alexander Rusev. Rusev worked over Cassady and the crowd really got into his act, as Cass kept getting his feet cut out from under him by Sylvester Lefort. Enzo eventually chased Lefort away from the ringside area as Colin finally fired back on Rusev and almost got the win with his diving elbow drop. Rusev eventually fought back with his ever agile superkick followed by the Accolade.
| - Kalisto def. Simon Gotch in a fun match. Really big contrast in styles for this one, and it was fun to watch as Simon Gotch played to the traditionalist style in working over Kalisto and utilizing a very old-school approach of an in-ring style. As expected, Kalisto was the opposite with his high-flying style, and at one point he hit a spectacular senton plancha from the second rope inside to the out. Gotch is actually really strong so I've noticed, he dead-lifted Kalisto around in this one. Kalisto finally got the win after dodging a double foot stomp and nailing Gotch with a sunset flip powerbomb. Good heat for this one, crowd are digging Gotch and his obnoxious mustache and single-strapped singlet.
| - Tyler Breeze def. Xavier Woods in a really good match. Xavier appears to be on loan from the main roster to further expand his character, and that's fine as he is very fun to watch. He's really muscular and big, but he's very agile at the same time. Tyler Breeze got instant heat as always with his persona. He actually tried taking selfies during this match, which was a fun spot with Xavier photobombing and then taking out Breeze. Tyler worked over the leg, which slowed Woods down but Xavier fired back at numerous points, just to get cut out. He finally made a big comeback and almost won with the Lost in the Woods - but Tyler had his foot on the ropes. Breeze reversed his second attempt, getting the win with the Beauty Shock. More heat for Tyler, who cut a promo after the bell about how ugly Fort Pierce fans are.
| - Ricky Edwards def. Camacho in a short match. The NXT debut of Eddie Edwards! I am very thankful that they decided to rename him (his name when his televised tryout match with the Ascension was 'Jon Cahill'). The crowd actually recognized who he was for the main part, and that made things even better. He sold for Camacho early - who's still running with the Mexican thug gimmick without Hunico - but Ricky Edwards managed to fire back and get the win in under five minutes with a cross-legged Fisherman buster. Very impressive, he got a good reaction and this was only his first appearance at an NXT show.
- NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas def. Sami Zayn in a competitive, awesome main event. Dallas got immense heat and before the bell cut a promo about how gracious he was for having so many Bolievers in attendance. Sami Zayn got the pop of the night, understandably. Zayn was amazing with his offense on Bo, going for quick covers trying to gain the NXT Heavyweight Championship. Dallas fired back and went after the recently repaired knee of Sami, which he looked good doing. Him on the offensive was good, working over Sami and keeping him down and out of the match. It really frustrated some people seeing Bo knock Sami down so many times. Zayn soon got the comeback and got a really convincing near fall with the Helluva Kick, and when Zayn tried to capitalize on a Koji Clutch, Bo slid out of it and nailed him with the Bo-Dazzler for three. Zayn got retribution afterwards to send the crowd home happy.

| NXT PROFILE - Sasha Banks 114lbs - 5'5 - Boston, Massachusetts Finisher - The Bank Statement
She claims that she is 'The Boss' of NXT, and that could definitely be an understatement. She is the cousin of rapper Snoop Dogg, and she definitely enjoys to brag about that fact whenever she has an opportunity. Sasha Banks grew up a big fan of the business, and made her debut at the age of eighteen working on the independent circuit across the United States before quickly being signed to a contract by the WWE in 2012, only two years into her young career.
Immediately she debuted in NXT with heat on her back as a result of her attitude, as Sasha Banks graced the Full Sail crowd with arrogance and pure ignorance. She actually defeated former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox in her televised debut back in January 2013 before trying her hand at the vacant NXT Women's Championship - but she was unsuccessful as she lost to Summer Rae in the quarter final round. Ever since this moment, she seemed to idolize the path in which Summer was taking, and became her protegé of sorts. Together, they united to become known as the BFFs - Beautiful Fierce Females.
As a tandem, Sasha and Summer began to target the faces of the NXT Divas division, laying their eyes on the 'Dancing Queen' Emma, the kooky, naíve Bayley, and the at-the-time NXT Women's Champion Paige. They were successful in their attempts to get in their way, particularly in January 2014 when the BFFs were joined by second generation Diva, Charlotte - as they proceeded to injure Bayley. They also thwarted a classic encounter between Paige and Emma for the NXT Women's Championship by choosing to get involved.
As Sasha Banks continues to prove herself as a worthy candidate to become a future NXT Women's Championship, 'The Boss's star can only shine brighter. She has defeated a shortlist of WWE Divas already in her time in NXT - and she will continue to do so. As a part of the BFFs she is dangerous because of her submission-based offense. The future is only a good thing in the starlit eyes of Sasha Banks. |

| NXT PROFILE - Mojo Rawley 272lbs - 6'4 - Alexandria, Virginia Finisher - The Hyper Drive
Fans of NXT may recognize Mojo Rawley from his days as a member of the Green Bay Packers, where he played football in the Defensive End as well as Nose Guard positions. He was also later signed by the Arizona Cardinals and dubbed by teammates in training as 'the Iron Sheik' due to his freakish strength. He had high potential as an American football player, however that was just not meant to be as Mojo was injured and his football career was cut short.
However another opportunity awaited the 'Hype Man', as he was signed to a WWE contract in 2012 after eighteen months rehabbing his previous football playing injuries. Rawley trained hard to get past being seen as 'another football player aspiring to compete in the wrestling business', and eventually made his debut in October 2013, quickly making a name for himself. Ever energetic, ever hyped up, ever amped to the max: Mojo Rawley got popular with fans of NXT because of his energy, and his high intensity levels when performing. Nicknamed 'the Hype Man', Mojo Rawley has made a quick name for himself already - defeating numerous trainees from the Performance Center. His career is still young, but his potential is at the ready.
While Mojo Rawley sits on the sidelines yet again with his shoulder injuries, it could only be a matter of time before he is able to show his true colors. He is a no-nonsense athlete who has made the successful transition from football to wrestling, and his stock value could go up upon his return. In the mean time he is staying hyped and continuing to train hard in order to make for a successful future. There could be no stopping Mojo when he makes his return to NXT. |

| NXT PROFILE - Summer Rae 118lbs - 5'10 - Raleigh, North Carolina Finisher - The Summer Crush
She is the leader of the BFFs - that's Beautiful, Fierce Females. And that could be the biggest understatement on the NXT roster. A former athlete in the Lingerie Football League, Summer Rae made the transition over to the WWE, as she was signed to Florida Championship Wrestling in the winter of 2011. Quickly allied to various male superstars including current RAW General Manager Brad Maddox, Summer trained behind the scenes in order to prepare for a future spot in the active women's division. In actuality, her short time in FCW was eventful, as she quickly became the FCW General Manager - though this wouldn't last long as FCW later closed its doors in the summer of 2012.
Moving on from FCW came NXT - the new developmental territory for the WWE's stars of tomorrow. Initially she appeared only as a ring announcer on NXT television, before deciding to shockingly attack one of the faces of the Divas division, Paige and becoming a fully fledged Diva. The two embarked on a rivalry based on their polar opposite personalities - whilst Summer was the traditional 'girl next door' blonde, Paige was the 'Anti-Diva', pale, black haired and alternative in every single way to the other Divas. Their rivalry has continued on more than a year since their first meeting, with both trading wins over one another. She also began to mentor Sasha Banks - and later second generation Diva Charlotte, as the BFFs have had an influence in targeting and getting in the way of key Divas' futures - in particular, injuring the fun-loving Bayley and interfering in a tense clash between Paige and Emma for the NXT Women's Championship.
Summer Rae has also seen the main roster - whilst she continues to compete down at NXT, Summer debuted on Monday Night RAW in April 2013 as the dance partner of Fandango: the two have had a lot of success on the main roster together as a unit, with Fandango taking a keen interest in his dance partner. With this, she has similarly competed in matches with WWE Divas on the main roster - but is yet to achieve a shot at the WWE Divas Championship.
Summer Rae has landed in the WWE, appearing on WWE television and NXT television alike. She is talented in multiple fields, as an alumni at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Summer is manipulative and quite underrated in the ring as far as intensity goes. She has yet to successfully claim the NXT Women's Championship, but continues to aspire to. And eventually that will one day be a goal she succeeds at achieving. Summer, alongside Sasha and Charlotte have created a trio not to be messed with in the BFFs - as they continue to manipulate the future of NXT's Divas going forward with Summer at the leading helm. |

| NXT PROFILE - Bayley 130lbs - 5'6 - San Jose, California Finisher - The Belly-to-Bayley
Considered one of the more unique members of the NXT locker room, Bayley is a life long fan of the WWE. She grew up watching Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown through the Attitude Era and eventually made her debut in 2008 as she began to tour the United States' independent circuit. She was successful in her run and covered various promotions through her time, before in 2012 her dream came true.
Bayley signed with NXT in December 2012, achieving her life goal and coming one step closer to becoming a WWE Diva. A doey-eyed fangirl astonished by her peers in NXT, Bayley fell in defeat to the 'Anti-Diva' Paige in her in-ring debut on NXT television, and was a member of the NXT Women's Championship tournament to crown a new champion - unfortunately losing to former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox. She also got a huge opportunity in August 2013 when she unsuccessfully challenged AJ Lee for the WWE Divas Championship. But this was just a learning curb for Bayley, as she continued to pursue NXT, finding a friend in the daughter of 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair, Charlotte.
Although the duo were unsuccessful in their time as a team in the NXT Divas division, Bayley apparently shone brighter than Charlotte as she was asked to personally join the BFFs - consisting of Summer Rae and Sasha Banks. Bayley declined however, wanting to further herself as a face of the Divas division who the NXT Universe could admire and adore. Forever hugging her idols and her friends, Bayley continued this path - until suddenly she was betrayed by Charlotte. The second generation Diva actually injured Bayley and sidelined her, leaving her future in NXT questionable.
Despite being naíve, Bayley is very underrated as a competitor, as she can be known to be resilient and hard-working in the ring. She is also unpredictable in that aspect. She loves hugs, her friends and is often compared to that of a child, Bayley's career is still young as she continues to recover from her recent knee injuries. Bayley could very well prove everybody wrong upon her return, and could earmark herself as a future NXT Women's Champion. |

Solid opening segment with Bo and a solid win for him over Cal Bishop. Noting Cal's height and after a quick look on the WWE roster page, it made Bo look impressive to defeat someone bigger (both height and weight) than him with ease. I really like Kalisto wanting the match with Rusev and everyone being surprised. Makes Kalisto look good whether he wins, loses or draws, in my opinion. Huge win for Sasha Banks over Naomi. Rusev going over Kalisto doesn't really come as a surprise but like I said already, Kalisto didn't look bad coming out of it. Emma calling out Paige next week should be interesting. I personally prefer Paige as a heel so to see you teasing a potential heel turn is great. Wow, totally didn't expect CJ Parker to go over Kidd here. I'm keen to see where you go with Kidd with his on-going losing streak. Bo/Dolph next week? Sweet. The Ascension retaining was expected. More importantly, the post-match stuff sounded great. Neville/Graves should be a great rivalry and I'm sure you'll do it justice. I'm looking forward to seeing what how you book it in comparison with how it went down in reality. Once again, fantastic stuff overall, Dan. Everything about this diary is amazing. From the layout, to the roster biographies, and the writing style in which you're giving running commentary from Renee, Alberts, etc. It's easily the best diary on the board right now and in quite some time.

WWE NXT - Thursday 27th March 2014 - Winter Park, FL (#214) #WWENXT Taped: Thursday 13th March 2014 - Broadcast on the WWE Network! "UNBOLIEVABLE COMPETITION"
Tonight on NXT:
- The pressure is all on the NXT Heavyweight Champion, as tonight Bo Dallas will take on a former World Heavyweight Champion in the calibre of WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler. It's a must-win for Bo Dallas, who aims to keep the momentum rolling in just weeks before he defends the title against Sami Zayn - who is also in the house tonight.
- After beating her friend two weeks ago, the NXT Women's Champion seeks answers, as Emma calls Paige out to the ring to talk to her face to face.
- We seek answers from the betrayer, Corey Graves - seven days removed from his attack on former tag team partner Adrian Neville. We are also expected to find out the medical condition of Adrian Neville after having his leg practically obliterated by the 'Savior of Misbehavior last week.
- We will join Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady as 'Big Cass' gives us a look at the physiotherapy session of the 'Certified G' as he prepares to make a comeback to NXT from injury.
After the WWE signature aired, a video package aired reviewing the events of last week's episode, where we witnessed the NXT ArRIVAL rematch for the NXT Tag Team Championships: the Ascension defending their newly won titles against Corey Graves and Adrian Neville - and whilst the challengers were unable to get the job done and claim their former titles, Adrian Neville put on a performance of a lifetime trying to get the job done. Of course, with no help from Corey Graves, who sat out the end of the match and watched Neville fall to the Fall of Man before his eyes. But the real shocker came after the bell, as the 'Savior of Misbehavior' blamed Neville on the loss and brutalized him, battering his knee against a ring post and nailing it with a steel chair. Graves left to loud boos, whilst Neville had to have assistance even standing.
The opening video package for NXT aired, showcasing the multiple stars of NXT today - among them being Bo Dallas, Sami Zayn, the Ascension, Emma, Corey Graves, Adrian Neville and Paige. Following this we cut to the Full Sail University as Byron Saxton, Alex Riley and William Regal introduced us to the show - all whilst the theme of Corey Graves himself was playing, causing the crowd to boo loudly.(00:02)
The NXT Universe were booing Corey Graves out of the building as the 'Savior of Misbehavior' made his stride on the way down the rampway, Graves wearing a smirk on his face clad in a suit with cut-off sleeves, almost to obnoxiously show off his tattoo-clad arms. "I guess we won't have to wait to find out Corey Graves' excuse to his sadistic attitude last week". Graves smugly climbed the steps and got inside the ring as he took a microphone from Eden and simply stood and soaked in the chants of 'You screwed Neville'.
"It's like I killed Batman" he joked, as Corey continued to be heckled in chants. "That is true to a degree. I did screw Adrian Neville last week, and I did kill the Dark Knight of NXT. But at the same time, I proved that one of the seemingly unbeatable faces of your universe is as good as the next guy. I proved that a man like the so-called 'Man That Gravity Forgot' is a weakling. He's vulnerable...he's human". The fans continued to boo relentlessly as Corey continued to explain. "Adrian Neville is a human thinking that he is some kind of superhero. Some kind of make-believe. And he was selfish in thinking so. He was selfish in thinking he could take all of the glory and let me do all of the work. So what did I do last week? I let him see how he could take the heat. I let him take the Ascension. And I did it with good reason".
"I took a beating in that match, so I felt I had earned my keeps before Neville came in and saved the day. And oh boy, oh boy! Did he sure stink it all up. They mauled him. They annihilated him. So I realized: I'm not going to go along with this anymore. So I beat him and beat him badly". The boos continued to chime in, as Graves acknowledged them, "Deny it all you want, but it's damn true! Adrian Neville is a screw-up, he lost us the NXT Tag Team Championships in the first place, he cost Kassius Ohno his NXT career, and he cost us our rematch as well!". Chants for Adrian Neville started, as Corey observed: "You won't be seeing him for a while". The 'Savior of Misbehavior' smiled as the NXT Universe were now chanting 'Corey sucks'.
Corey decided to wrap things up, as he looked into the camera with a fierce look on his face. "Lastly, Adrian. I know you're watching this. You told me that if I stabbed you in the back, that you were going to come for me. And I welcome it. Because the fact is, I don't regret a single second of what I did to you last week, and I'm ready for you to come back because I have a lot more punishment for you to endure. I was the star of that tag team, and now I'm going to be a star of NXT as a whole. Adrian, do yourself a favor: and STAY DOWN". The crowd booed as Corey slammed the microphone down and his theme played again. The 'Savior of Misbehavior' began to leave as Alex Riley commented, "I think this has proved that the whole locker room is on watch. This is a never before seen side of Corey Graves". (00:08)
An advertisement aired promoting WrestleMania XXX, live on the WWE Network on April 6, 2014 In the backstage area Tyson Kidd was shown in the dressing room backstage last week after suffering yet another excruciating loss to C.J. Parker. Tyson had his headphones on moping around, when suddenly Sami Zayn appeared. "Hey Tyson, can I talk to you?" he said, as Tyson looked up and removed his headphones. "I've noticed your frustration lately, and I just wanted you to know that I feel for you and I've been through it, and I want to help you out", said Sami as Tyson stood up in reaction. "I could use it. I need my mojo back." replied Kidd, as Sami and Tyson walked away. (00:10)
SIN CARA & KALISTO def. BUDDY MURPHY & WESLEY BLAKE - After Sin Cara made the save for Kalisto from another beating at the hands of the Legionnaires last week the two luchadors went up against Buddy Murphy and Wesley Blake - two upstarts from the Performance Center teaming up for the first time tonight. They showed some good energy at first, connecting with a double dropkick to Kalisto for a near fall. The two men in the red and black further went to work on Kalisto just for the 'King of Flight' to fight back using his amazing, innovative style. Sin Cara and Kalisto teamed up on Buddy Murphy at that point with a series of hurricanranas, before Wesley Blake got the tag and attempted to come in and take down the more experienced Sin Cara, just for the two Meico City natives to cooperate and take Blake down with a dropkick to the knee followed up with two sharp kicks to the abdomen and spine of the rookie. Kalisto came in and connected with the Salida del Soy, before Sin Cara went up high and came down on Blake with the Senton Bomb, the two luchadores scoring the win in 4:28. **
"What impressive teamwork by the Mexicans!" commented Byron Saxton, as the NXT fans cheered. Kalisto and Sin Cara's hands were raised in victory, as they saluted the Full Sail crowd. Suddenly, out charged Alexander Rusev, as the 'Bulgarian Brute' seemed to really want a piece of the two luchadores - just for Sylvester Lefort and Aiden English to run out and restrain Rusev! "Alexander Rusev is embarrassed about being showed up last week by these two, and now he wants to beat them both down - single handedly?" pondered William Regal, as the Legionnaires succeeded in backing Rusev away from the ring. Lefort shouted at Kalisto and Sin Cara, "this isn't over!"
In the backstage interview section, Devin Taylor was shown standing by with WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler, as Devin introduced him. "Dolph, firstly, welcome to NXT. Tonight you go one on one with the current NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas - what are your thoughts about Bo Dallas?" she asked.
"Well, Devin, I hear a lot about what you kooky kids get up to down here in NXT, and I got curious - I want to see what NXT has to offer, ya know? So here I am, the 'Show Off' in the flesh, ready to kick some ass tonight. Bo Dallas is a name I've rightfully heard a lot in the locker rooms up at RAW and SmackDown - but for all of the wrong reasons. He's a name that will surely pop up in my path to superstardom down the line - but tonight, he's going to get schooled. I'm going to teach him that he can do all that he wants to get noticed: but when he's in the ring with a man of my caliber, he better do it right. Bo Dallas, if you try and pull anything tonight like you have in the past - you better believe that I know every trick in the book, and tonight - you're going to have a hard time trying to get past the 'Show Off'!". Devin thanked him for his time. ( 00: 18)
Another iPhone created video courtesy of 'Big Cass' was shown, as Colin Cassady showed Enzo Amore on the camera, walking on his own two feet this time putting pants on. "Hey lookin' good, 'Zo" said Cassady as Enzo turned around and realized that he was on camera. "'Ey I said I wasn't ready yet! That ain't cool!"
We suddenly cut to outside of the Performance Center, as Big Cass had himself on camera walking alongside Enzo Amore, both wearing sunglasses to reflect the blue skies in the background. "Here we are at the Performance Center, as ya can see. I've decided to come here to give you NXT Universe guys what ya boy Enzo's doing while he's getting ready to make a comeback". "We're gonna make a big splash, Cass. Yo, me and you together at full speed - after this physio work-out we're gonna blast the tag team division". "Ayo I hope so, big man".
We cut to physiotherapy as a female coach addressed the line of unknown trainees. "Welcome back to physiotherapy guys, I'm hoping you're all motivated for another day of hard work" said the instructor as Cass tilted the camera to show the room full of mats laid out across the floor. "Today we're going to be working on your posture and we're going to be improving your mobility through yoga" she said as Enzo looked at the Cass, telling him "Yo, that instructor Rochelle's hot, but if she thinks I'm yogaing all over this mat, she's got another thing coming that ain't my lips on hers - and that's walking out". Enzo then went to leave, as the instructor called him back "Enzo! Enzo! You're not leavin---"
The video cut again, this time to Big Cass observing as Enzo was now stretching on the mat alongside the other trainees. "'Ey 'Zo, lookin' good here buddy, you'll be back in no time at this rate!" Several more cuts of the instructor were shown, particularly close-ups on her face and chest areas. "Nice!" commented Cassady, as the instructor eventually noticed, ordering Cass "sir please put that cell phone awa---"
Another cut was made, as Colin Cassady was now shown walking out in the open again with Enzo Amore by his side. "Yo, sorry I had to cut the yoga out. But that girl was nice, huh?" he asked, as Enzo replied, "Yeah she's hot, but she's made a mess out of my neck I'm tellin' ya!" Cass responded, advising Enzo not to be so SAWFT. Cass grinned as Enzo continued complaining "Man I need to go for a massage or somethin', ya hear me?" The video then cut out, another day in the life of Enzo and Big Cass. (00:21)
CHARLOTTE def. CAMERON - It was last week where we saw Sasha Banks pick up a victory against Naomi in singles competition, and tonight we were to see the other half of the BFFs and the Funkadactyls go at it, as Cameron went up against the second-generation Diva Charlotte tonight. Charlotte received plenty of 'wooos' from this Full Sail crowd despite her alignment, as Sasha Banks and Summer Rae accompanied her to the ring whereas Naomi accompanied Cameron. Cameron attempted to stretch Charlotte with a Greco-Roman knuckle lock, but Charlotte counteracted and worked over Cameron with her long legs - particularly choking Cameron in the corner with her boot. Naomi watched on, as Cameron was worked over - but when she tried to fight back she was cut out from beneath by Summer Rae and Sasha Banks providing a distraction - and when this happened Naomi got into an argument with Sasha, prompting Sasha to slap Naomi down to the floor! Referee Jason Ayers realized this as Cameron nailed Charlotte with a kneeling facebuster - but Summer Rae offered the distraction allowing Charlotte to come back and nail an unsuspecting Cameron with the Natural Selection for the win in 3:43. *1/2
The crowd booed as Naomi quickly slipped into the ring to trade blows with Charlotte, as the Funkadactyl was clearly not about to let the BFFs escape with just another cheap victory tonight. Naomi sent Charlotte off the ropes and hit her with the Rear View - just for 'the Boss' Sasha Banks to slip into the ring and nail Naomi with the Bankrupt! Summer Rae then climbed into the ring among boos, raising her girls' hands in victory as William Regal commented: "These three Divas are pesky in everything they do. But the villainous side of me likes it". Byron Saxton also commented, saying that "the BFFs continue to show dominance over the Divas division. What next for these three luscious, manipulative fierce females?"
John Bradshaw Layfield was shown prowling the backstage corridor when he suddenly came across the NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas. "Bo! Bo! Can I speak with you for a minute?" he asked. Dallas turned and looked at Layfield as he snarled in response. "What do you want now?" , the champion all dressed to compete with the title placed over his shoulder. "I know that you're all ready for your match tonight with Dolph Ziggler - and I know for sure it'll be a barnburner kid, but I've gotta let you know: the date has been set. You will defend the NXT Heavyweight Championship against Sami Zayn in two weeks time on April 10th! Ain't you excited?" JBL laughed ecstatically as he walked off without giving Dallas a chance to respond.
"Wait, wait! You are the worst General Manager in WWE history, John! I'm Bo Dallas!", suddenly Dallas overheard something behind him - and with that came across Sami Zayn and Tyson Kidd talking among themselves. Bo turned and glared at them, as Sami quietly approached Dallas, eyeing up his NXT title. "Hey man, you may have heard..." Bo cut him off, "April 10th". Dallas looked fed up as Sami smiled back at Bo and looked at the title one more time. "April 10th. I end your reign of terror. This is my home now" he said as Tyson stood between them. Sami then walked off, with Tyson taking one last look at Bo. "What are you looking at, loser? Look at me when you actually beat someone!" he said as Tyson and Sami had left. Bo was all alone now, as he stomped his feet in anger, throwing a tantrum. "This is the worst night EVER!" he shouted. (00:28)
- IN TWO WEEKS: It's time to see who wants it more, as the reigning and defending NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas puts his precious title on the line against the optimistic and ambitious Sami Zayn.
We returned to the NXT Arena as the theme of the 'Dancing Queen' hit, bringing out a very serious Emma tonight, as the fans cheered for the NXT Women's Champion upon walking down the rampway en route to the ring. "Here comes Emma, and she looks very different without all of that goofy dancing" commented Alex Riley, as Byron Saxton responded, "She wants her friend back. I don't know what's going through the mind of the 'Anti-Diva', but I don't understand why she won't let her friend Emma have her moment with the NXT Women's title". William Regal interjected, commenting that "To Paige, the NXT Women's title was everything. I can understand her frustration, but this is a competitive business, and if Emma can't handle that then she may be in harm's way as the champion of the division". Emma climbed into the ring, borrowing the microphone from Eden. "I just wanted to come out here and speak woman to woman with a girl that I still call my friend, Paige. Paige, I know you're back there somewhere, but I want you in this ring now. Let's straighten this out", the Australian said. With that, the theme of Paige hit to cheers from the NXT Universe, all eager to hear Paige's reaction. "It seems that despite her attitude lately, this crowd still loves Paige" commented Byron, as Paige came down to the ring with a blank, annoyed expression on her faces as she quickly got to the ring and rolled her eyes at Emma. "Paige, I want to really try and fix this friendship. Ever since I started here in NXT, we were close. We had each others' backs against the rest, and we controlled the division! What happened?" asked Emma, when Paige snatched the microphone from her 'friend' and said "I want my title back. It's simple". "Paige, you know fully well that I'd love to give you another shot at this title. We could put on a five-star classic effort every single night of the week. But I've beaten you twice now. Heck, if you remember it was three weeks ago in this very ring where I said I wanted to fix this friendship and we made a rematch - and that rematch two weeks ago I won. I'd love to, but I just can't anymore. Why does this title have to come between us when we were friends before when you were the NXT Women's Champion?" asked Emma as Paige looked at the title on Emma's shoulder all the while. "I don't care about a single word that comes out of your mouth, Emma. I know that I am better than you", aggressively disputed Paige, as the Full Sail crowd 'ooh'd. "I was the NXT Women's Champion for nearly nine months. You haven't proved yourself yet, and I want to prove that I am better". Emma looked slightly confused, as she responded. "I don't know where this is coming from. You know? I bust my ass so many times for you, and you bust your ass so many times for me - and we have so much in common. And then last week I saw you speaking with the BFFs? Where are you in your head, Paige?"Paige looked blankly in Emma's eyes and told her once again: "I want my title back. Why can't you get that?" Almost coincidentally, the theme of Summer Rae then hit igniting boos from the NXT Universe. "What!? Is this a set-up!?" asked Byron Saxton, as Emma looked shocked, thinking that Paige had become a member of the BFFs. Emma braced herself as Paige looked around and looked confused as well. Out came the three BFFs which we saw earlier on, as they circled the ring and stepped on the apron - but Paige and Emma were outnumbered. "Summer, Sasha and Charlotte are staring down Emma and Paige...wait, what!?" Suddenly, the three BFFs went after Emma! They put the boots to the NXT Women's Champion as Paige watched in confusion from another corner of the ring. "I want your title!" screamed Summer Rae, as she then picked Emma up and nailed her with the Summer Crush; Summer leaving Emma down in the ring - and that's when Paige jumped Sasha connecting with a suplex! "I knew she wouldn't join them!" remarked Regal, as Paige then ducked a clothesline attempt by Charlotte and dropkicked her down and out of the ring - Paige then reversing a Summer Crush attempt and nailing Summer with the Paige Turner! Emma was groggy as she slowly got to her knees to see Paige stood tall! The 'Anti-Diva' then slid out of the ring and left by herself, as Emma continued to look on in confusion - all the while Summer Rae screamed in rage from the corner. "This is all getting confusing. Women, huh?" simply retorted Alex Riley. (00:34)
An advertisement aired, promoting the WWE Network - available now, for $9.99 a month plus six-month commitment!
We returned to the Full Sail University as in the ring WWE Performance Center rookie Marcus Louie was stood with a microphone in hand. "For weeks we have seen Baron Corbin come in and make his opponents beg at his knees for mercy, but tonight, I, the great Marcus Louie will put an end to Baron Corbin's streak of easy win after easy win, and return to my hometown of France with a huge debut win on my shoulder! The Regime of Louie begins tonight!" he said in his French tongue, as William Regal narrated, "Looking at Marcus Louie is amazing. He looks to be in great shape, and he's bigger than anybody Baron's faced before - but you never know what you're going to get in that ring when you face the 'Enigma'".
BARON CORBIN def. MARCUS LOUIE - While Marcus Louie appeared hopeful of their upcoming confrontation in Louie's NXT debut tonight, Baron Corbin approached the ring in the dark as always, the 'Enigma' apparently not phasing Marcus Louie as the Frenchman awaited him cautiously and motivated. Baron Corbin then got into the ring and was blind-sighted by Marcus as he struck Baron with multiple lefts - but Corbin took him down with a big clothesline! Baron and Marcus continued to trade blows with Marcus showing more fire as he sent Baron into the corner and went for a clothesline on Corbin just for the 'Enigma' to dodge it and take him out with a huge powerslam! Baron got fired up further, as he caught a relentless Marcus Louie and dropped him with a harsh End of Days for victory in 1:34! n/a
The 'Enigma' received yet another big ovation from the NXT Universe as Baron Corbin silently got to his feet and stood before the Full Sail crowd. "Another win for Baron - nothing is stopping this guy!" remarked Alex Riley. Corbin appeared calm and collected when suddenly the lights went down and all of a sudden a spotlight appeared on the rampway. Into the light crawled Leo Kruger, as the South African grinned, speaking without a microphone in sight audible for the whole Full Sail crowd to hear. "I've been watching you, Baron! You sure are a beautiful layer of skin" he laughed giddily, before cryptically crawling back into the darkness. Baron glared out into the darkness, as Byron Saxton commented, "Baron Corbin...meet Leo Kruger".
(00:38)
After a graphic appeared promoting Bo Dallas taking on Dolph Ziggler up next, the NXT announce team began to address what they had seen tonight taken place, as Byron Saxton started off commenting: "Corey Graves revealed tonight his new attitude. Graves is malicious, and he is dangerous - and he knows it. What comes next?" he said, as Alex Riley began to talk about Adrian Neville. "Corey Graves made a statement last week in taking out Adrian Neville. He proved that Neville is vulnerable, is weak - and that could be a lot truer than words or metaphors, because Neville has been forced to the sidelines with a knee injury thanks to his former tag team partner". The trio then began to talk about what was coming up next week, as graphics appeared promoting two new matches.
( 00: 39)
- NEXT WEEK: After their encounter earlier tonight, with her friendship with the 'Anti-Diva' Paige still strained no thanks to the BFFs, NXT Women's Champion Emma will defend her title against the leader of the BFFs who orchestrated the attack earlier tonight, Summer Rae.
- NEXT WEEK: With Sami Zayn tutoring Tyson Kidd how to come back from his recent string of losses, Sami Zayn and Tyson Kidd have a big challenge next week as the duo team up for the first time to take on Alexander Rusev and Aiden English of the Legionnaires.
- IN TWO WEEKS: NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas defends his title when he puts it on the line against Sami Zayn.
#DallasVsZiggler NON-TITLE MATCH DOLPH ZIGGLER vs NXT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BO DALLAS
With Bo Dallas now en route to defending his NXT Heavyweight Championship against Sami Zayn in two weeks tonight, the NXT Heavyweight Champion had to first get past a former World Heavyweight Champion in WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler. The NXT Universe loved Ziggler, who came out to the ring clad in black and pink with his same old showboating, flamboyant way. Ziggler then patiently awaited the arrival of Bo Dallas as Alex Riley questioned, "This could be Bo Dallas' biggest match to date - can he beat someone of Dolph Ziggler's caliber? Ziggler is a former World Heavyweight Champion, a former Intercontinental Champion. He's beaten John Cena, Randy Orton - some of the top faces of the WWE today!" Byron Saxton made a case for Bo Dallas however, stating "But Bo Dallas is one of the dirtiest players in the game today. He's been NXT Heavyweight Champion for 298 days now. He's defended that title against more or less every NXT Superstar that has come close to him. This is an ultimate test for Bo to see if he has what it takes to get the job done against somebody like Dolph Ziggler". With that, the NXT Heavyweight Champion came out looking focused among the many boos from this capacity crowd. Dallas posed for the crowd as he removed his shirt and took off his title, then slowly stepping foot in the ring, face to face with Ziggler.
"Come on kid! Hit me with your best shot" ironically said the boasting Bo Dallas, as he approached Dolph Ziggler with his arms extended to Dallas. After moments of this, Ziggler slapped Dallas across the face with a smirk on his face as Bo hit the canvas. "I don't think it's wise to underestimate Dolph's abilities" commented Riley. Dallas was irked by this, as he quickly got to his feet and charged for Dolph just for Ziggler to send Bo into the turnbuckle, a roll-up following for a close two count. "Now that could have been very embarrassing for our NXT Heavyweight Champion" noted Regal, as Bo shot up and ended up on the receiving end of a headlock takedown courtesy of the main roster Superstar. Ziggler continued to feel up Bo as Dallas slowly brought the headlock to their feet, then attempting to shrug Dolph off - but his grip was too tight! After two or three attempts, Ziggler let go as Bo started throwing a temper tantrum! Dolph simply smiled as Bo realized he wasn't in the hold anymore. He charged at Ziggler again just to get taken down with an arm drag, followed up by a second, and on the third connected with a powerslam for a near fall. The NXT Universe were firmly behind the 'Show Off', as Bo was once again held in the side headlock. Dallas was quick to his feet this time, as he suceeded in shrugging the headlock off this time - and celebrated momentarily, then turning around to walk into a dropkick from Dolph Ziggler! "Ziggler's having fun tonight, and Bo Dallas is reeling!" spoke Saxton.
Bo rolled onto the apron now, as Ziggler slowly approached Dallas, just for Bo to surprise Dolph and drag his arm over the top rope as Dallas jumped to the floor. Ziggler held onto his arm tight, as Bo then slipped into the ring and immediately capitalized on it by wrenching the arm and connecting with a clothesline on Ziggler. Bo then followed up with a multitude of stomps across the upper torso of Dolph, as William Regal noted on commentary: "But on the flip side of the coin, here is that fiery side of Bo Dallas, which Dolph must learn not to underestimate either". Bo then tried to go to work on the head and face of Ziggler, firing down with several punches before picking the targeted arm and slamming it across the canvas. Dolph was in pain now as Dallas broke his mean offense and smiled for the NXT Universe, as Dolph then came from behind and rolled him up once again for two. Bo tackled Dolph from behind though, now wise to his strategy as Bo booted Ziggler in the head whilst on all fours. "Very smart strategy on the part of Bo, going after not one but two body parts", noted Riley.
"Bo is no slouch. He's built his career on cheaping his way through title defenses, but when he's motivated and ready, he's dangerous - and that's something Sami Zayn may have to do his research on going into their title match in two weeks time" added Saxton. Bo picked Dolph up and wrenched on the arm again, delivering an armstabber with his knees across the extended arm of the 'Show Off'. Dallas continued to work it, as he bent the arm backwards and delivering a knee into it, obnoxiously shoving his palm into the face of Ziggler as he did it. The NXT fans were cheering for Ziggler, as Ziggler attempted to react and methodically rise from it, but Bo switched the hold into an armbar bending the arm backwards - as Dolph continued to be in pain from it. "Check how Dallas has this armbar applied - that arm is hyperextended and Bo is using his forearm to bend it back as far as he can" examined Regal, as the fans in Full Sail continued to chant "Let's go Ziggler". Suddenly, Dolph managed to roll out of the armbar, before jumping to his feet and connecting with a superkick to the face of Bo Dallas! "Quick like a cat!" said Saxton.
Dolph hooked the leg of Bo, but got two. Ziggler then brought Dallas up and attempted a scoop slam, but his arm was weakened from the previous offense of the NXT Champion, and Dallas reversed it into a cradle for two - which Ziggler then reversed into a cradle of his own for two - and then again for Bo! Ziggler fired out this time as both men returned to their feet, Dolph attempting the Fame-Asser just for Bo to sidestep it - another clothesline ducked by Ziggler who responded with a jumping DDT, Ziggler covering for another two count! "Dolph Ziggler's back in the game now!" remarked Riley, as Ziggler attempted to go back to the headlock, just for Bo to sidestep it and take Ziggler down and out with a big spear! Bo covered with a grin on his face, but Dolph kicked out at two. "I believe you spoke too soon" commented Regal in response to Riley, "This is definitely a side of Bo Dallas which I'd like to see more of. He'll need it going into his defense with a world-class talent like Sami Zayn". Bo went back to the arm, as he knelt on it with leverage from the ropes, causing referee Danilo Anfibio to start the count, which Bo abused three or four times before stomping on the arm of Ziggler once again.
Bo Dallas grinned as he circled a groggy Dolph Ziggler, Bo seemingly motioning for the belly-to-belly suplex on Dolph, but when he tried it, Dolph landed on his feet and arm dragged him! Ziggler was in pain with his arm, as both returned to their feet; Dallas trying to clothesline him but Ziggler ducked it, charging off the ropes - and Bo nailed him with a crossbody! Both men were now down, as the referee began counting. "A mid-ring collision! But who will be the first to return to a vertical basis?" questioned Byron, as the NXT fans cheered for Dolph - some chants for Bo though, as Ziggler was slower to his feet. Bo got up as Dolph slowly got to his feet, connecting with a belly-to-belly suplex for another two count. Bo then started to think about putting Ziggler away for good in this match, as he motioned for the Bo-Dazzler. "The end could be nigh for Dolph now", noted Riley. Bo hooked the weak arm of Dolph's, but when attempting to hook the other, Ziggler connected with a northern lights suplex for two! "Dolph Ziggler is so unpredictable" spoke Regal.
Ziggler got ready for Dallas to return to his feet, as he connected with the famouser before getting the NXT Arena geared up for the Zig-Zag: but Bo clung onto the ropes! Dallas then dropkicked Ziggler in the knees planting him face first on the canvas - Bo hooking the arms again for the Bo-Dazzler, but Ziggler broke free and nailed Bo with a superkick sending the NXT Heavyweight Champion dazed on his feet! Dolph took the opportunity and nailed the Zig-Zag - Dolph covering Bo Dallas...just for Tyler Breeze to drag the referee out of the ring! "What!?" gasped Saxton. Breeze ignored Danilo's complaint as Ziggler realized what happened, as he left the ring to confront 'Prince Pretty'. "Why did Tyler Breeze of all people interrupt this!?" questioned Regal as Ziggler and Breeze exchanged words. The referee was between them looking at Breeze, when all of a sudden Bo Dallas came from behind nailing Ziggler in the back of the skull with the NXT Heavyweight Championship! The referee didn't realize, as Bo then dragged Dolph into the ring and dropped him with the Bo-Dazzler DDT! "Bo Dallas has capitalized on opportunity once again, and the referee knows nothing about it!" remarked Alex Riley. The crowd booed this as Dallas hooked the legs and scored the victory in 15:05!
WINNER: BO DALLAS (***)
"Another win for Bo Dallas!" gasped Byron Saxton, as Bo Dallas' hand was raised in victory. Dolph Ziggler remained down in the ring, as Tyler Breeze smirked now on the rampway. 'Prince Pretty' continued to smile at Dolph Ziggler, as the NXT Heavyweight Champion continued to celebrate in the ring. The 'Show Off' was down and out, and Tyler Breeze loved it, watching on from the rampway. "Whatever reason Tyler Breeze did this, he will surely pay the price!" spoke William Regal, as Bo continued to celebrate in the ring, NXT going off the air.
