I've booked a day off work for this one. A good opening promo from Corey Graves, I'm glad he's broke out on his own and the angle with Adrian Neville can now begin which I wouldn't mind seeing him come out on top of. Sami Zayn needs his mojo back? I don't know if at this point speaking to Tyson Kidd would be the way to get it back? But the idea of a possible team is intriguing. I love the Lucha Dragons as they breathed new life into Sin Cara, and it's good to see them get a win here. I imagine we'll see Rusev take them on and beat them in a Handicap Match down the road. Dolph Ziggler comes to NXT to take on the Champion? That would be a great match. Still can't really get behind Amore. I know people love him but Big Cass is the star of that combination. Definitely pleased to see Charlotte beat Cameron. That's two completely different leagues. Hm, could Zayn be the next NXT Champion? Paige either needs to take the title back or go to Raw or SmackDown. I don't think an alignment with the BFFs would benefit her in any way so hopefully she sticks up for Emma and battles them back. I love Baron Corbin so I'd like to see him in a good angle. Leo Kruger? Loved him in this role as well. This should be a good little rivalry for NXT. Huge victory for Bo Dallas over a former World Champion, but Tyler Breeze's involvement suggests we'll see him take on the Show-Off at the next Takeover event. The comparisons have brought them together, but I think Ziggler might put Breeze in his place when the time comes. Now I'm going to sleep for a month to recuperate. Ciao.

| NXT PROFILE - Dolph Ziggler 213lbs - 6'0 - Hollywood, Florida Finisher - The Zig-Zag x2 World Heavyweight Champion x4 WWE Intercontinental Champion x1 WWE United States Champion x1 World Tag Team Champion 2012 Mr Money in the Bank x2 FCW Florida Tag Team Champion
Probably one of the most experienced members that has ever come down to NXT before. He's still young, he's still active, and yet at the same time the 'Show Off' known as Dolph Ziggler has accomplished so much. A former college wrestler, Ziggler was a three-time All-Mid American champion and was signed to WWE's original developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2004. Ziggler trained there for years, only briefly popping onto the WWE roster as a member of the infamous Spirit Squad. He alongside the other members feuded with Superstars such as Shawn Michaels, Triple H and John Cena. Ziggler then moved south to Florida Championship Wrestling for further seasoning, before making his debut in 2008 against none other than Batista.
Ziggler has made every effort possible to make naysayers open their eyes when they see him in action. Dolph Ziggler has achieved a lot in his career, for example in 2010 when he became a multi-time holder of the Intercontinental Champion - siding with Vickie Guerrero in the process which was the start of something sinister for the rest of the WWE locker room. Ziggler went on to win more gold, including the United States and 2012 Money in the Bank briefcase - proving himself as one of the most hard working superstars in the locker room.
A 'Show Off' is an understatement - Ziggler has defeated John Cena, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan throughout his tenure thus far in the WWE. His matches are five-star in quality on his worst night, and he sure loves to brag about it - win or loss. In 2013, he even shocked the world when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to win the World Heavyweight Championship - and Dolph is still young and has tons of fire when it comes to his WWE career: which is already very lengthy!
He's charismatic, he's athletic, he's entertaining, and he knows it. He's just that good. Dolph Ziggler came to show the world, and that's what he does every single night of his career. Resilient, fighting: more buzzwords to describe the 'Show Off'. And now he has landed in NXT to prove that he can continue stealing the show - even when it comes down to mingling with the stars of the future. |

| NXT PROFILE - Charlotte 125lbs - 5'10 - Charlotte, North Carolina Finisher - The Natural Selection
She's the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer 'Nature Boy Ric Flair, and arguably one of the most athletic Divas to enter NXT, Charlotte is riding the waves of initial success right now. A former personal trailer who attended North Carolina University playing volleyball, Charlotte was signed to a contract to the WWE in the summer of 2012 with thanks to her connection to father, the sixteen-time World Champion. She trained hard, perfecting her craft before eventually making her debut alongside friend Bayley in the summer of 2013.
Herself and Bayley were initially inseparable. They teamed together frequently, and although they lost more often than they won, they had opposite personalities - but thrived at the same time under the umbrella of NXT in getting better and better as the weeks went by. But then, in the fall of 2013 the second-generation Diva would fall to injury, forcing the 'Nature Girl' to the sidelines whilst Bayley was offered a position in the Beautiful Fierce Females - led by Summer Rae accompanied by Sasha Banks.
Then suddenly in January 2014, Charlotte made her return to the Full Sail ring, as she appeared to be making the rescue for friend and tag team partner Bayley - just to betray her and join the BFFs. Now a member of the trio, Charlotte has showed her true colors - and they are dangerous colors indeed. She has injured Bayley with a knee injury, and continues her winning ways - she is now undefeated since joining the BFFs and continues to show levels of a new potential every week.
What makes Charlotte so amazing is her improvement rate since debuting for NXT last year. Now undefeated and aligned with the BFFs, Charlotte is strong, she is agile, and she is a specialist in manipulating torturous submissions and innovative moves. She calls herself the 'Genetically Supreme Diva' in NXT - and that may be very true. |

NXT time. Starting the show with Corey Graves was the right move after last week's incident. Him versus Adrian Neville will be a good feud. Who the hell is Buddy Murphy and Wesley Blake!? Glad to see Sin Cara and Kalisto the yet-to-be-named Lucha Dragons get the victory, obviously needing to be established. Alexander Rusev backing down from the Lucha Dragons seems a little bit unbelievable, but, it continues progress with the feud. He ain't ready yet, Cass! Quit messin' Enzo up, man! Ain't cool! I'm digging these promos to rebuild Enzo physically. Charlotte getting the win over Cameron. Meh, I'd call it a quality win for her but we all know Cameron sucks! Obvious victory for her. Hey, Bo Dallas versus Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship in two weeks! HOW YA LIKE DEM APPLES, MAGGLE!? HAHAHA! A good promo for the women, good to see them shine and it was exactly how you had Alex Riley call it - confusing, because, well, women. Comma. Baron Corbin crushes Marcus Louie. Fine. Louie sucks and Corbin is getting built up and hey, wait a minute, there is Leo Kruger. Looks like you're bringing Corbin a more legitimate threat slowly. Finally, a huge main event between Bo Dallas and Dolph Ziggler that properly got Ziggler over but hey, Tyler Breeze getting involved certainly sets up what could be a career-propeling feud for Breeze, who I'm still not one hundred percent on. I just hate people like him in reality, so I probably hate his character for that reason. Anyway, a pretty solid show of NXT this week.

NXT News of the Week (March 27 - April 3, 2014)
- After the release last week regarding autograph signings at WrestleMania Axxess this weekend, it has been revealed that the entire NXT roster will also be headed to New Orleans this weekend for the weekend. It is suspected that these NXT talents will be featured in matches throughout the days of the Axxess convention. (March 28, 2014)
- Syrian-Canadian born Sami Zayn is currently being advertised for WWE's upcoming tour of Saudi Arabia later this month. While some could interpret this as being a hint at Sami moving up to the main roster, it is expected that due to the current storyline Sami Zayn has going on in NXT that he will remain a member of the developmental territory until said storyline comes to an end. (March 31, 2014)
- NXT talent Cole Andrews was released from his contract. Andrews was scouted by Hall of Famer Jim Ross a few years ago and is best known for his run as an offensive lineman for the Oklahoma Sooners. It appears that this is a budget cut at the moment. If we hear of any further reason for his release, we will update next week. (April 2, 2014)
- Once again, not much to report on due to WrestleMania Axxess taking place. We are expecting a bucketlist of news and updates next week in the fallout week of the biggest week of the WWE calendar. |

A very good opening promo from Corey that catapults him far into the singles scene. His feud with Neville will be entertaining for sure. Eager to see how he responds.
Bit of an odd encounter between Tyson and Sami..
Big win for the Luchas. I liked your portrayal of Rusev and him having to be held back. It gives him that "unstoppable" aura and clearly as the non-thinker of the group. I'm curious to see why Lefort and English stopped him though.
I like that you're bringing in guys from the main roster, and I think Bo vs. Dolph would be a cool match in the ring, but the promo from Dolph made NXT as a whole feel a lot "cheaper" than it is. Like it's a massive step-down and he's got nothing better to do. I think the promo could have been worded slightly better.
I got a bit of a chuckle out of the Cass/Enzo skits. Very nicely done and very creative - probably one of your strongest traits is writing segments like this.
Once again the cheap win for the BFF representative, and the altercation with Naomi as she tries to even the odds. You've definitely portrayed them well as the dominant Divas force.
Again, curious to see how Tyson will inevitably feature between Bo and Sami. April 10th? I look forward to it.
Perhaps the swerve with Paige possibly joining the BFFs could have continued a bit further than one week? Either way, it's a good set-up for the feud. In fact, it's like two feuds in one. You have the BFFs vs. the friendship of Paige and Emma, but you also have the title in their too. Good stuff.
Obvious promo to set up the win for Baron.. (Just a heads up, you said France was Louie's hometown).. Nice interaction with Kruger at the end. He will be Baron's biggest and most meaningful challenge yet but I still don't see him being the one to beat him.
Oh wow, Bo with the win? That's huge for him. But what part does Tyler Breezer have to play here? I mean, are you bumping him up to the main roster (too soon) or keeping Dolph around for a while (bad idea)? I'm not sure if I like it, but it's definitely different.
A standard show I think. Not your best but definitely a solid, well-written week of TV.

WWE NXT - Thursday 3rd April 2014 - Winter Park, FL (#215) #WWENXT Taped: Thursday 13th March 2014 - Broadcast on the WWE Network! "WHERE THERE'S CHAOS, THERE'S OPPORTUNITY"
Tonight on NXT:
- With seven days and counting down until his next NXT Heavyweight Championship defense with Sami Zayn, Bo Dallas plans to grace the NXT Universe with his presence.
- Last week Tyson Kidd asked Sami Zayn for help to find a way out of his recent slump, and tonight we could see a re-ignition as the two are set for tag team action against Alexander Rusev and Aiden English of the Legionnaires.
- With so much going in the Divas division here in NXT, the NXT Women's Champion Emma will put her title on the line against the leader of the BFFs, Summer Rae.
- Following last week's seemingly random assault on Dolph Ziggler, Tyler Breeze will be joining us with some kind of explanation for why he jumped the 'Show Off' tonight.
- After a bizarre meeting last week on NXT with the undefeated newcomer Baron Corbin, the South African Leo Kruger will be sure to follow up as he takes on the also undefeated Mojo Rawley.
After the WWE signature aired, Bo Dallas was shown wearing a suit in a corridor backstage. Dallas appeared to be focused - that is until he acknowledged the camera in front of him when he decided to smile from ear to ear, going back to his typical display of arrogance. "NXT Universe, tonight is the night! I'm going to show all of you why you need to Bolieve I'm going to beat Sami Zayn". He smiled and gave a big thumbs up as the NXT Heavyweight Championship hung from his shoulder.
Cut to the opening video package for NXT, showcasing the ensemble of stars in NXT today - among them being Bo Dallas, Sami Zayn, the Ascension, Emma, Corey Graves, Adrian Neville and Paige. We cut to the NXT Arena in Winter Park, Florida as Tom Phillips, Jason Albert and Renee Young welcomed us to the show, talking up all of the happenings as NXT approaches WrestleMania XXX this weekend. They hyped up what was scheduled to come tonight as the theme of Mojo Rawley got the Full Sail University hyped up to start things off.(00:02)
The ever-energetic 'Hype Man' of NXT charged his way down to the ring and slid inside before sliding outside - running around the ringside area and hyping up the NXT fans in attendance. "What a way to kick things off with the 'Hype Man', Mojo Rawley" bursted Tom Phillips as Rawley then returned to the ring getting ready for competition to start off NXT. "This man is just totally impressive. A former football player, his transition into sports entertainment happened so fast. And to top it off, he's yet to be beaten in that ring!" responded Renee Young.
Suddenly, the mood changed as the ominous theme of South African Leo Kruger hit bringing the lights down. With that, out crawled Kruger into a spotlight appearing on the rampway - the only thing lighting the NXT Arena. "Well, things were hype..." noted Jason Albert. Leo laughed audibly without a microphone in sight, continuing the theme from last week. "NXT Universe. You have seen how impressive a man with power can be. You have seen how a man can appear dominant when he picks apart his opponents. But what I see is how high that man with the power can fall", Kruger snarled, speaking in tongues obviously referring to the undefeated Baron Corbin. Kruger then slowly got to his feet and approached the ring where Mojo decided to jump-start the match, a butt bump sending Kruger back out to the floor! (00:03)
LEO KRUGER def. MOJO RAWLEY - With Leo Kruger speaking out about his new found target in Baron Corbin, he made the mistake of taking his time getting into the ring with a man of Mojo Rawley's caliber, giving his 'Hype Man' persona a new meaning. Mojo went after Leo after previously sending him out to the floor, as Mojo left the ring quickly and slugged it out with Kruger delivering several lefts and rights, but Kruger shoved Rawley backwards into the steel steps and followed up with a big boot to the head of Mojo! Leo Kruger continued to pick apart Mojo as the action reached the ring officially starting this match, as Kruger manipulated Leo, appyling some sort of cobra clutch and shouting at him aggressively. Rawley had the NXT Universe to back him up however, as Mojo eventually tossed Kruger off of him and began to go on the offense - connecting with clothesline after clothesline before taking him down with a hip-toss into a neckbreaker and decided at that point to go for the Hyperdrive - just for Kruger to get his knees in the way, an unofficial low blow! Mojo was stunned by this, as Leo connected with a spinebuster for two. Kruger was surprised at this, as he set up for the Slice, but Mojo ducked and rolled him up for two - and that's when Kruger cut him off with the Slice on the second attempt! Kruger then picked a stunned Mojo Rawley up and dropped him with the Kruger's End for the win in 4:05. **
"Leo Kruger just handed Mojo Rawley his first loss!" commented Jason Albert, as Leo Kruger crawled off of Mojo's fallen body. Kruger crawled around the canvas as he began to speak out, audibly saying "I snapped one streak tonight, yours is next". Leo laughed as Baron Corbin was shown in the backstage area watching on via a monitor, the 'Enigma' doing his homework when it comes to Leo Kruger. "That man has to do his research before going in there with somebody known for their unpredictable antics like Leo Kruger" analyzed Tom Phillips, as Renee Young rhetorically asked, "Kruger is the master of manipulations, and you have to wonder considering how much we are still yet to see from Baron Corbin - can he overcome his antics?" In the interview area, Devin Taylor was shown standing by. "Please welcome at this time, the self-proclaimed 'King of Cutesville', Tyler Breeze". With that, Tyler entered the frame with his hair tied back, zebra stripes on his attire, and as always his fluffy phonecased iPhone set for selfies during this interview. "For the record, to say it's self-proclaimed that I'm the 'King of Cutesville' is disgusting. I am gorgeous, and not even you can deny that", Tyler said smugly.
Devin sidetracked the response, getting straight to the point, "Tyler, we all saw what you did to Dolph Ziggler last week in jumping the 'Show Off' from behind - but why did you do it?" she asked. Breeze uncharacteristically lowered his iPhone-held arm and made actual eye contact with Devin, as his pouting lips turned to a mildly aggressive tremor. "Why did I do what I did to Dolph Ziggler? I think the question should be why Dolph Ziggler was even in my house. There is one thing I dislike about Dolph Ziggler, and that's how he wanted to walk into NXT and have people bow to his feet. But not me. He should be bowing at my feet. He says that he likes to steal the show and peoples' girlfriends - but tell me Devin, do you think I have a girlfriend?" he asked.
Taylor was about to respond but Tyler put his finger over her lips, shushing her slightly seductively. "Don't answer. I don't. And why is that? Because let's face it. Nobody is gorgeous enough to even share a room with me, let alone a life. The difference between me and Dolph, as much as he likes to deny it - is that I'm one of the beautiful people. And I'm the 'King of Cutesville'. Him? He's the 'Mayor of Uggos'. And last week proved he's a loser of a Mayor at that". Breeze smirked as he raised his phone again for more selfies before walking away. "He's an arrogant man. He didn't even answer her question!" mentioned Renee Young on commentary. (00:11)
An advertisement aired, promoting WrestleMania XXX, live on the WWE Network this Sunday night.
NXT WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP - EMMA def. SUMMER RAE BY DQ - These two have met on multiple occasions throughout the past year, as Summer Rae has always found Emma quite peculiar when it comes to being a staple of the NXT Divas division - but now she's the NXT Women's Champion, and she's still seething over the fact that she was forced to submit at NXT ArRIVAL allowing the 'Dancing Queen' to win the title in the first place. To add to matters, Summer Rae was accompanied to the ring by Charlotte and Sasha Banks - which perhaps put more pressure on the Australian. Emma tried to get in the driver's seat off the bat, but Summer was persistent and the assistance from Charlotte and Sasha's distractions cost her as the Ven-Emma allowed Charlotte to big boot Emma in the head behind referee Danilo Anfibio's back.
Summer worked over Emma as the NXT Universe tried to get behind the champion, not wanting her to lose her title so soon - as the 'Dancing Queen' began to get back in the game when she was struck down by Summer, who was targeting the shoulder she previously had surgery on. Summer used her long legs to her advantage as well, but Emma soon managed to break free of a grapevine - Emma soon dancing her way into the Emma-mite Sandwich: but that's when Sasha Banks dragged Emma off the apron onto the floor again behind Danilo's back! The BFFs' numbers game advantage was setting in as Emma was rolled back into the ring - but that's when Paige made her way down to the ring, the 'Anti-Diva' by herself after appearing to show no interest in either being Emma's friend or being a member of the BFFs last week! Paige slid into the ring and shockingly nailed Emma with the Paige Turner whilst Summer cowered away - the referee having no choice but to ring the bell in 7:34! **
The NXT Universe booed as Paige stood tall over the NXT Women's Champion and her seemingly now former friend Emma! "No way!" bursted Jason Albert, as Summer Rae looked on with a big smile on her face, standing up and going to greet the 'Anti-Diva' - and the two embraced a hug almost cementing the move! "This is something I never thought I'd see, I can't believe this!" added Renee Young - and they were right to feel that way, until Paige then roped Summer Rae into a Cradle DDT! Paige had taken out Summer Rae as well now, as Charlotte and Sasha Banks looked on screaming in anger, Paige then leaving before the BFFs had a chance to jump her. Paige backed up the rampway among the drama in the ring, as Jason Albert commented: "I guess we are wrong. But what is going through this young lady's mind?" Tom Phillips added: "There is something on the inaugural NXT Women's Champion's mind and I hope we hear about it real soon". ( 00: 23)
In the backstage area, Sami Zayn was shown warming up for his match tonight when Tyson Kidd walked in to greet his partner. "Hey, I just wanted to thank you for letting me join you. I've been feeling so lost lately, and I'm so sick and frustrated of losing so much! I needed this, I appreciate it", spoke Tyson patting Sami on the shoulder. Zayn smiled as he shook his head: "No, don't worry about it man. I'm excited! You know I've got this big NXT title match coming up next week - and tonight if we beat the Legionnaires not only are you going to win one, but we could challenge for the NXT Tag titles too! The Canadian Dream Time, eh?" exclaimed a genuine Sami Zayn.
"Yeah, you're right. But you don't mind me hogging up your warm-up spot before you challenge for the NXT title next week?" asked Kidd, but Sami again shook his head. "It'll be my pleasure. I could learn some stuff from you...like learning how not to lose!" he grinned, slapping Tyson on the shoulder jokingly. "Just kidding", he added, as Tyson Kidd did not seem so happy about that friendly display of banter. (00:24)
In the backstage area after what happened moments ago with Paige cleaning house of Summer Rae and Emma, interrupting their NXT Women's Championship match, Devin Taylor attempted to get a word from the 'Anti-Diva'. "Paige, I just wanted to get some word on what's going on in your head right no--". Suddenly, Paige put her hand over the microphone. "Devin, not now. I don't want to talk. But I'll tell you when I will talk. Next week, I'll tell everybody what's truly going on in my head." Paige then walked away without another word.
(00:25) NEXT WEEK: After a confusing few weeks, the 'Anti-Diva' Paige has said she will finally speak out about what's going on in her mind. Is she Emma's friend? Is she a fan of the BFFs? We'll find out.
NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE ASCENSION def. JASON JORDAN & TYE DILLINGER - Two weeks ago, Konnor and Viktor proved that they are much more than paper champions when they managed to defeat Adrian Neville and Corey Graves in a rematch from NXT ArRIVAL to retain their NXT Tag Team Championships. It may have been in a controversial fashion, but they got the job done. Tonight however, they took on Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger in non-title action, and cut the ring off straight from the bell in tearing apart Jason Jordan. Konnor and Viktor took turns clobbering away at him whilst Tye watched on, almost too intimidated to even attempt extending his hand for a tag. The Ascension destroyed Jordan with a double toss-up slam before lining him up and nailing him with the Fall of Man to end the match in 1:38 - Tye didn't even try to break the count. n/a
The Full Sail crowd booed in disapproval as Konnor and Viktor celebrated their win, before quickly dragging Tye Dillinger - who didn't even tag into the match - off the apron and into the ring - quickly dropping him with a Fall of Man for his troubles as well! The NXT Tag Team Champions claimed their belts as Jason Albert commented, "You know when they won the titles last month I said they'd be dominant, I said they'd be terrifying. And well, they're succeeding in being that already". Konnor snatched the microphone from Eden.
"We are the Ascension! We are the Tag Team Champions! And we want more competition!" Viktor then took the microphone for his turn. "We are offering an unlucky duo the opportunity to step in the ring with us - if you dare!" Konnor then took back the mic, adding: "Next week, we're making an open challenge to anybody that thinks they can take these titles. But know this - survival is futile! Because everybody is a part of the Fall of Man!" he growled. Viktor slapped Konnor on the chest hard, before the two glared out at the NXT Universe, booing in further disapproval. "What a scary combination these two really are", noted Renee Young. (00:28)
- NEXT WEEK: They continue to impress every week since becoming the NXT Tag Team Champions, but next week the Ascension want more: they are opening up a challenge to any tag team to step up and take a shot at their titles.
An advertisement aired, promoting the WWE Network - available now, for $9.99 a month plus six-month commitment! (00:29)
We returned to the NXT Arena in Winter Park to hear the theme of Corey Graves playing - with that the 'Savior of Misbehavior' making his way out to the ring slowly, dressed for competition. "Here is a real Benedict Arnold" commented Tom Phillips, as Corey smirked upon hearing the boos throughout the Full Sail University. "Well, do you want to say that to him?" asked Jason Albert in response, as Renee Young added about him taking out Adrian Neville two weeks ago and took us to a replay of last week of him commenting on the attack. "Corey Graves feels unleashed now. He's been the NXT Tag Team Champion, but now he's on his own and he is dangerous. I think he could very easily find his way to the NXT Championship very soon - unless Adrian Neville has anything to say about it".
COREY GRAVES def. DASH WILDER - In his first match since breaking away from Adrian Neville, the 'Savior of Misbehavior' was up against a WWE Performance Center upstart in Dash Wilder - a nine-year veteran that has worked across the United States in the past, and has finally made his way to the WWE making his fourth appearance on NXT television, hoping to get a win against this former NXT Tag Team Champion. Graves was quick to take Wilder down from beneath him, working over him on the mat before going to work on the leg of Dash despite Wilder's best efforts to block it off. Graves was effective in this manner, as he began to relentlessly go after the knee of Dash before locking in the Lucky 13 submission causing Wilder to tap out quickly in 4:13. **
The crowd booed in response, as Corey Graves sat up and slowly rose to his feet, a look of disgust on his face as he looked around at the NXT Universe. Dash Wilder was down on the canvas, but that's when Graves suddenly booted Wilder in the head when he was on all fours! "Oh, what now!" questioned Tom Phillips as Graves shoved referee Drake Wuertz out of the way, leaving the ring and roping WIlder's legs around the ring post - applying the Lucky 13 around the post! "This is exactly what he did to Adrian Neville!" added Jason Albert, as Wilder groaned out loud in pain, Graves refusing to let go as other referees darted out to try and drag Graves off.
"This is Corey Graves leaving some kind of statement. And I don't see why he's doing it" commented Renee Young, as Graves eventually got pulled off - which is when Corey went over and stole a steel chair from Eden, ready to swing at the leg of Dash Wilder when the referees restrained him. "He came close to injuring another NXT Superstar. Thank Lord for these referees being there to stop him this time" noted Albert, as Graves began to storm up the rampway to the back.
( 00: 36)
In the backstage area, Sylvester Lefort was seen standing by with Alexander Rusev and Aiden English - Lefort addressing his troops before they go into combat. "Tonight is a special night, because we as Legionnaires are going to make an impact. Tonight, we have the opportunity to take out the number one contender to the NXT Heavyweight Championship, Sami Zayn. We are going to go in there and clean house of Sami Zayn and Tyson Kidd. We will add another big win to our resumé. And from here on out, the Legionnaires will be the supreme agenda of NXT. Over time, we will continue to grow and grow, as my list of clients extends. But know this: you, the originals, will make the Legionnaires the future of NXT. Mark my words", spoke Lefort with his renowned French accent. Lefort was addressing the troops, as Aiden and Alexander stood silence, albeit Rusev was snarling. "Is something wrong, Rusev?"
"I want Kalisto. I want Sin Cara. I want to crush them all" illiterately spoke the 'Bulgarian Brute'. Rusev continued to snarl looking out into mid air, as Lefort responded, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Rusev, with the power that we have in NXT. Our friend, he will help us get what we want. When he gets what he wants" mentioned Lefort, as Rusev continued to snarl and English nodded along. The Legionnaires then left, ready for our tag team main event as Renee Young questioned, "Who is their friend? Who wants to be their friend!?"
(00:37)
The NXT announce team began to talk about next week, as they talked up Sami Zayn continuing his quest and finally getting what he wants in the form of an opportunity at the NXT Heavyweight Championship. A graphic appeared to confirm it, as Zayn will challenge the champion Bo Dallas for the NXT title gold. Additionally, who has the guts to go up against Konnor and Viktor of the Ascension, as the NXT Tag Team Champions will also put their titles on the line against any tag team in the world today daring enough to go up against them.

- NEXT WEEK: It's time to see if Bo Dallas has what it takes when he goes one-on-one with a man that he has beaten before, but also a man that has an agenda to get the top of the mountain, and also at that a world class competitor in Sami Zayn for the NXT Heayweight Championship.
- NEXT WEEK: The NXT Tag Team Champions have talked about how they want more competition after managing to defend the titles against former champs Adrian Neville and Corey Graves two weeks ago. Tonight, the Ascension put out an open challenge to any team in the world today daring to confront them face to face.
THE LEGIONNAIRES vs TYSON KIDD & SAMI ZAYN
This match was set up by NXT General Manager John Bradshaw Layfield prior to this week's episode of NXT, after seeing Tyson Kidd last week go to Sami Zayn for some career advice - Kidd having not won a match since last November and Zayn being on track to challenging Bo Dallas for the NXT Heavyweight Championship next week on NXT. However first, in order for Zayn to make it to his title match next week and Kidd to get a victory - they had to overcome the Legionnaires. Dominant, strong, and with a devious manager in the name of Sylvester Lefort - the Legionnaires so far have been dominant in taking care of various WWE Superstars - such as The Miz, Rob Van Dam, Kofi Kingston, Mason Ryan and Xavier Woods just to name a few. In fact, it was Aiden English who once defeated Tyson Kidd a few months ago on NXT causing this slump to go deeper and deeper.
Although Rusev's mission was clear to crush Kalisto and Sin Cara for showing him up in past weeks, it wasn't sure what was meant by Lefort's comments to "help a friend for the friend to help them" prior to this bout. Regardless, Lefort marched his men to the ring for tag team action as Jason Albert commented on Rusev. "Rusev really scares me sometimes how powerful he truly is. And I used to be A-Train!". Aiden English and Alexander Rusev stood in the ring, as the NXT Universe's boos turned to cheers - with that the theme of Tyson Kidd hit. Kidd pumped the crowd up, as Tyson appeared more motivated than in recent memory tonight, optimistic about getting this losing streak out of the way. As Kidd drifted down to the ringside area, the theme of Sami Zayn hit, popping the NXT Arena hard as Zayn trotted out to join Kidd. "The man that could become NXT Heavyweight Champion, Sami Zayn is amazing. I sure hope he can take a chink out of the armor of these Legionnaires tonight" noted Renee Young on commentary.
Zayn and Kidd shook hands before slipping into the ring to trade blows with English and Rusev, all four men trading blows in the ring! Zayn ducked from the blows of the 'Bulgarian Brute' whilst Kidd took it to English in the corner, before suddenly Rusev clobbered Sami with a right hand, positioning him over Kidd in the corner - Rusev ready to change with a butt bump to both men in the corner but they both moved! "Now it's time to see how Kidd and Zayn do as a team" noted Phillips. Kidd then charged and nailed Rusev with a dropkick to the jaw followed up by Sami attempting the Helluva Kick early - just for Aiden English to block it attempting an STO - but Sami turned it around and nailed English with the exploder suplex into the corner! Tyson Kidd meanwhile caught Rusev with an enzuigiri stunning the 'Bulgarian Brute' and forcing him to the floor with English following suit. Rusev, English and Lefort retreated and talked strategy - until Kidd and Zayn both went overboard with suicide dives onto both Legionnaires! The two fan favourites then returned to the ring as the fans chanted "NXT!" in response to this. "So far so good for Kidd and Zayn, I can't believe they've actually managed to get the Legionnaires out of the game so soon into this match" commented Albert, as Lefort tried to assemble his men.
After recovering on the outside, Tyson Kidd got ready to start off with Aiden English but the 'Artiste' was taking his sweet time getting inside. Kidd was ready to put them up with English, but Aiden caught him off guard and sent him into the turnbuckle where English quickly tagged in Alexander Rusev - who picked Kidd up for a sidewalk slam, dropping him over the knees of English making it a backbreaker. Rusev was now in there with the much smaller Tyson Kidd, as he kicked Kidd in the gut and connected with a double-hand chop into the shoulder blades of Kidd. "And here's the unorthodox offense of Rusev and English. They are so quick witted, which is something you wouldn't expect with the language barrier" informed Tom, as Rusev tagged in English who stomped Tyson in his efforts to crawl over to tag in Sami. English dragged Tyson back into the centre and focused on the abdomen of Kidd, connecting with a double foot stomp into the chest of the Canadian as the NXT Universe booed the 'Drama King'. English simply shrugged it off, as he brought Tyson to his feet and gave him a forearm to the face - which Kidd responded with a European uppercut - just for English to tackle Kidd into the corner of the Legionnaires - tagging in Rusev again. "Really wise strategy by English - when Kidd's getting back in the game, you need to figure out how to keep him away. And now here comes the 300-pound Bulgarian" commented Renee as Rusev came in and kicked Kidd right in the abdomen again. "The Muay-Thai background of Rusev now coming into play. Just watch as he focuses those kicks on the ribs of Tyson, winding him" noted Albert.
Rusev saw Tyson trying to make another comeback, continuing Kidd's motivation to get his first win of 2015 - but Rusev ran Tyson right into his knee, kitchen sinking Kidd and following it up with a tilt-a-whirl slam, embedding him into the canvas. Rusev then dropped a big headbutt into the torso once again for a near fall. "Rusev is a man bent on destruction. He's made a big impact in recent months, but you have to wonder what his motivation is. You can tell after the past few weeks of being upstaged by Sin Cara and Kalisto that he is angry and is imagining Kidd as the Mexicans every step of this match" added Albert. Rusev tagged in Aiden again who came in and nailed Kidd with a leg drop, for another two count. English then went for the headlock on Tyson - but Kidd reversed it through and slid out of it: Kidd with a sudden burst of energy as he caught English with a victory roll for two! Kidd followed up with a roll-up for two then, but English kicked out and dove on Kidd to slow him down! "Those near falls, they're like desperation for Tyson Kidd. He wants this win so badly". Lefort watched on tensely, directing orders yelling out "Ground him, Aiden, ground him!", Sami Zayn meanwhile watching from the corner trying to get Kidd back in the game. He had the Full Sail crowd clapping along as English had Kidd trapped in some sort of bear hug - and eventually Kidd responded with a forearm to English, followed by another one before releasing himself from the grip and connecting with a brainbuster on English - but the brainbuster may have exhausted Kidd! Referee Shawn Bennett began counting both men down, as Kidd and English began to crawl to their respective corners slowly - when Sami Zayn got the tag, in coming Zayn!
"He got the tag! Sami Zayn is in this match for the first time" bursted Tom Phillips as Sami charged in and meet Rusev in the centre, the two trading blows just for Rusev to charge Sami and Zayn to duck - the Syrian-Canadian nailing Rusev with a leg lariat! Zayn followed up with a kick to the gut of charging Aiden English - Zayn following up with an STO - seemingly applying the Koji Clutch on the illegal man before Rusev tried to interject with a falling headbutt: Zayn releasing however and Rusev colliding with English's head! "Zayn tricking the Legionnaires may be his best strategy right now, as Sami now has to figure out how to put away this big 'Bulgarian Brute'!" noted Phillips. The Bulgarian was dazed, as the number one contender to the NXT Heavyweight Championship attempted to go for the sunset flip powerbomb - however Rusev caught him on his shoulders and attempted the powerbomb: but Tyson Kidd dropkicked the knee of Rusev! "Now this is teamwork!" Kidd, still winded from the work done to his abdomen caught Rusev next with a sharp kick to the head of Rusev before Zayn charged off the ropes and connected with a crossbody for two. Zayn and Kidd then caught English and took him down with a double STO - Sami deciding to go for the finish on Rusev. "Could this spell the end?" questioned Renee as Lefort flocked like a bird on the outside. Sylvester got onto the apron and got taken down by Kidd returning to his corner - Sami squaring Rusev up for the Helluva Kick in the opposite corner: but Kidd got a blind tag randomly. Zayn connected with the Helluva Kick on Rusev - but he didn't fall down!
"Is Alexander Rusev made of nails? He's not going down after that sharp Helluva Kick!" bursted Tom, as Rusev was dazed and Tyson Kidd was going up to the top rope: when NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas appeared at ringside, Dallas sliding his title into the ring and distracting the referee Shawn Bennett: and as Kidd went for the diving neckbreaker on Rusev, Aiden English slipped into the ring and nailed Kidd in the ribs with the NXT title belt! "No no no!" said Albert, as Kidd was down and winded: English then sliding the title out and going to the top rope - connecting with the Director's Cut senton bomb off the top rope! English clotheslined Sami to the outside, as Rusev regained his composure and locked in the Accolade on Kidd for the submission victory in 11:24.
WINNER: THE LEGIONNAIRES (**1/2)
"What a shame this was!" mentioned Renee Young as Alexander Rusev stood dominantly over a fallen Tyson Kidd. Rusev was dominant tonight alongside Aiden English and Sylvester Lefort - but all thanks to Bo Dallas. Dallas then climbed into the ring amongst boos from the NXT Universe - continuing to smile as he shook hands with Lefort and the Legionnaires. "Thank you, I believed in you" he could be heard saying. "Is this the friend that Lefort was talking about? Now that makes sense" noted Albert, as Bo and the Legionnaires stood tall - when Sami Zayn ever resilient climbed into the ring and tried to go after Bo Dallas, but he was outnumbered as Rusev nailed Zayn with his big superkick! "You gotta love Zayn's effort. But he was outnumbered right here tonight" spoke Tom Phillips as Bo then picked Sami off of the canvas and dropped him with the Bo-Dazzler! Bo screamed in his ear, the NXT Heavyweight Championship in hand, shouting "You'll never be as good as me! You'll never see what I see! You'll never be NXT Champion like I am!" Dallas then stood tall alongside Lefort, Rusev and English - his newfound apparent friends in this orchestrated beatdown of Sami and Tyson Kidd! "There'll be hell to pay for Bo Dallas next week. Next week we see if Bo Dallas can go head to head with Sami Zayn and win - or will we see a new NXT Heavyweight Champion?" signed off Tom Phillips as the Legionnaires and Dallas continued to stand tall, NXT going off the air.

Episode #215. I like the rundown of what is expected tonight on NXT. I've been going back and watching old Full Sail NXT episodes and the Leo Kruger character has grown on me. Push him. Good to see him beat Mojo Rawley but I don't know how good of an opener it would have been. Now, Baron Corbin/Leo Kurger is something I can get behind. A very well written Tyler Breeze promo. I'm happy to see you didn't go with the Paige heel turn. It wouldn't work to well since she was super over with the NXT crowd. The crowded title picture is pretty cool though. You wrote Canadian Dream Time instead of Team. Just a heads up. I liked the playful banter between Sami Zayn and Tyson Kidd, but the "teach me how to lose" comment seemed off. I know it was in jest but I can't see Sami saying that. The domination from the Ascension is fine. I was never a huge fan of theirs but still. Open challenge should be fun. The Corey Graves stuff you're doing is damn good. I plan on giving him a push too and you're setting up a pretty good blueprint. Great main event and, along with Corey Graves, I dig the Legionnaires stuff you are doing. Bo Dallas is fantastic here as the heel champion and I'm so glad you've held off on him losing the strap. There is a lot to like in this diary and this was another good episode.

COLIN CASSADY def. C.J. PARKER - I saw this match on Saturday morning, I'm sure that they re-did the matches three times over throughout the entire weekend. Colin Cassady was with Enzo Amore, and they had some fun with C.J. Parker before the match began. Cassady and Amore are so fun together, this was a good segment where they took shots at Parker's green-friendly persona and his dreadlocks. C.J. eventually got hot and tried to go after Enzo causing Colin Cassady to lay into him. Colin's a lot bigger in person, by the way. Cassady pounded on Parker early on, but Parker made a comeback with a palm strike and heelishly went to work on Big Cass. A distraction from Enzo Amore led to Cassady putting Parker away with the East River Crossing in approximately six minutes. Cassady and Enzo continued to have fun with the small crowd in attendance, getting laughs from generally everyone. Of note Enzo was carrying a phone with him and took footage of the crowd and the match - maybe this will be included in an upcoming video on television.
PAIGE def. CHARLOTTE - This is a match I would happily pay to see, so maybe we could see it on a WWE Network special in the future. No Summer Rae or Sasha Banks with Charlotte, but she seemed good on her own with what she did. Paige got a big pop from the odd 50 people in attendance for this one. I viewed this match on Saturday evening. Charlotte immediately went to work on Paige, actually working on a body part which was nicely done. She worked over Paige like she was a submission specialist, working on the leg to probably set up for the Figure Four Leglock. Paige made a comeback though, and teased the Scorpion Crosslock a few times to no prevail. Charlotte and Paige did this cool sequence of exchanging finishing move attempts, like from the Paige Turner to the Natural Selection to the Cradle DDT into a cradle, then another cradle, and then Paige suddenly finished off with the Cradle DDT for the three in about ten minutes. Paige took a microphone after the match and thanked the audience for watching, vowing to get the NXT Women's Championship back. Very good match for the NXT girls, as I expected.
NXT WOMEN'S CHAMPION EMMA def. ALEXA BLISS - We haven't seen much from Alexa Bliss yet, but apparently she's getting on pretty well down at the Performance Center. Emma was really popular, and seemed to be having a blast dancing with the NXT Women's Championship. A handshake started off, as Emma played more of a powerhouse role here, throwing Alexa around for the first moments of the match. Bliss made a comeback and kept trying to go for cradles and roll-ups to knock off the NXT Women's Champion but for near falls. Emma continued to go after Alexa before Bliss got in some offense of her own - including hitting a strange, unique moonsault on Emma from the top rope for two. Emma eventually made a comeback and hit her trademarks in the Emma-mite Sandwich and the Ven-Emma. Bliss was resilient though and refused to give in after a diving crossbody, but Emma eventually picked up the win with the Emma Lock in seven minutes. The two girls hugged after. It was a nice effort, but I think Alexa is still improving and if they did this later in the year on television it could be a nice, little feud. Big pop for Emma, who has taken off on the main roster since debuting last month. BARON CORBIN def. JASON JORDAN - A fun little addition after the Emma and Alexa Bliss match. Baron Corbin got a pretty decent reaction, although without the lights and the television production his entrance can be pretty dull to watch. Jordan tried to fire into Corbin, but Baron quite quickly got the victory in about a minute with the End of Days. Good little showcase for Baron, who shook hands with fans after the match.
ALEXANDER RUSEV def. SAMI ZAYN: BO DALLAS refereed - I thought that this was pretty nifty to see. Alexander Rusev was accompanied by Sylvester Lefort and Bo Dallas was the referee for this match, leaving Dallas' rival on television Zayn at a disadvantage. The NXT Heavyweight Champion cut a nice promo before the match running down WrestleMania Axxess and proclaiming that he should be competing - but there's always next year. Zayn got a huge pop, the crowd for this one was solid at about 100 people turning up for it. Alexander Rusev is an animal live. Zayn got in all of his hotspots including a deadlift exploder suplex into the corner, which I found pretty impressive. Rusev worked over Zayn, as Bo Dallas kept slow counting the number one contender and distracting him. Rusev locked Zayn in the Accolade and Bo rang the bell without Sami even submitting ala the Montreal Screwjob in about ten minutes. Rusev and Lefort celebrated with Dallas in the ring, but Sami was hot and took out Rusev and Lefort - nailing Lefort with the Blue Thunder Bomb and sending Rusev through the ropes with the Helluva Kick. Zayn then locked Bo in the Koji Clutch to send him packing too. After the match, Sami cut a great promo on how good WrestleMania XXX will be and his past in the wrestling industry. He wished us a great weekend and told us to not forget to tune into NXT this week to see him win the NXT Championship. This was a really fun segment included, and I liked that they included a storyline-focused match for what was a free show for WrestleMania Axxess.

| WWE WrestleMania XXX: Sunday 6th April 2014 - New Orleans, LA [#WrestleMania]
| - The main event was due to be a spectacular match, with reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton putting up his title against the 'Animal' Batista - however earlier in the night, Daniel Bryan was able to get added into the match after he won a match against Triple H earlier in the night. But after that match, Bryan was left injured with a bad arm after having it bashed in with a steel chair courtesy of Triple H - leaving his place uncertain. He was able to compete however, albeit more hurt than he already was. Orton and Batista made a target out of Bryan, at one point a lethal Batista Bomb/RKO combination taking Bryan almost indefinitely out of the match as Bryan went crashing through an announce table. The drama unfolded further as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon involved themselves as Bryan proved to be resilient. Finally, Bryan managed to do it - he took out the COO, and made Batista submit with the Yes! Lock. Bryan celebrated as the new champion - standing tall with the titles, as the Superdome exploded with YES! Chants galore. | - With the crowd still reeling over the demise of the Undertaker's streak, it could have been the end of another streak, as AJ Lee defended her Divas Championship against Alicia Fox, Aksana, Eva Marie, Cameron, Naomi, Natalya, Tamina Snuka, Emma, Layla, Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae and the Bella Twins in the Vickie Guerrero Invitational. Fourteen Divas in one ring, with the only way to win being to make somebody tap out or pin them. AJ and Tamina feigned their alliance initially, but this soon went out of the window with it being every Diva for herself. In the end however, AJ got the victory after making Naomi submit with the Black Widow submission in 6:47 - and just like that AJ was to continue her reign at 293 days long. | - Defending the streak for a 22nd time in his illustrious career, the 'Phenom' the Undertaker was out to make it 22-0 at the grandest stage of them all as he took on Brock Lesnar, as always accompanied by Paul Heyman at ringside. Initially, it appeared as though the Undertaker was a weaker and more mortal man than we have seen in previous years, as he kept bowing and going on the defense as the 'Beast' continued to pound away at him as onlookers watched on. Lesnar tried to get the victory on numerous occasions, including two F5 attempts as well as a failed attempt at the Kimura Lock. Undertaker fired back in resilience, however Lesnar was able to break free of two Tombstone Piledriver attempts which could have ended the match. Then it happened: Brock reversed the Tombstone, and connected with a third F5: cementing the victory. The crowd went silent as Brock had done it. 21-1 at WrestleMania for the 'Deadman'. Heyman was screaming as everybody was in sheer disbelief. After the victor and his mouthpiece had left, the Undertaker left on his own accord - silently, as fans applauded the efforts of the mortalized Legend. | - In a match all about staying true to their persona, and head games, it was John Cena challenging Bray Wyatt - without the Wyatt Family at ringside as they were ejected early into this match. Cena took on the offense, battering Bray at numerous points - however Wyatt proved that he could hang with Cena and fought back on numerous occasions. The 'Eater of Worlds' had the WWE Universe behind him with the 70,000 in attendance singing hymns at Cena. Wyatt tried to convince Cena to destroy his legacy and use a steel chair to get himself disqualified, however justified himself after much inner-conflict, scoring the AA for the victory in 22:25. Cena's legacy remained without Wyatt's head games getting to him. | - The first-ever André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal to determine who won the huge trophy was sure to make a legend, and with that it did. The ring was stacked to begin with, with 32 Superstars standing in it - among them being NXT Superstars Dolph Ziggler, Xavier Woods, Tyson Kidd alongside various NXT alumnus featuring Brad Maddox, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, Damien Sandow, Big E and Fandango. However, in the end of all of this it came down to Antonio Cesaro and the Big Show (Cesaro previously deciding to enter the match for himself in its closing minutes. A conclusion reminiscent of Hulk Hogan slamming André the Giant twenty-seven years ago, Cesaro body slammed Show over the top rope to claim the trophy for himself in 13:25. Cesaro had gone out of his way and finally won some gold tonight. | - The Shield could have met their match in the New Age Outlaws and Kane in the second match of the night, but the dominant trio of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose kept things incredibly short, disposing of Billy Gunn, Road Dogg and Corporate Kane by delivering a thunderous triple powerbomb on Gunn in 2:56. The anti-Authority Shield had dominated another fence put up by the Authority. | - In a match that could have made or broke the 'Yes Man', Daniel Bryan took on the COO of the WWE, Triple H. Triple H made a special entrance with NXT Divas Alexa Bliss, Charlotte and Sasha Banks and was accompanied to the ring by Stephanie McMahon. After eight months, Bryan was able to get his hands on 'The Game', but if he lost he would be banished from the WWE World Heavyweight Championship main event, shattering his - alongside all of his supporters' - hopes and dreams. A hard fought match saw Triple H batter away at the bandaged arm of Bryan, but after kicking out of the Pedigree, Daniel Bryan managed to get the victory, pinning Triple H with the running knee in 25:58. After the match however, Bryan was left battered and broken as Triple H nailed Bryan's injured and wrapped arm with a steel chair, bashing it against the ring post and leaving the main event in question. | - Right off the bat to open the show, three legends of WrestleMania stood together in one ring, as Hulk Hogan firstly appeared to greet the fans of the Mercedez-Benz Superdome, mistaking it as the 'Silverdome' - the home of WrestleMania III in 1987. Stone Cold Steve Austin cut him off and confronted him, then mocked him for mixing up the venue moments before. Suddenly, The Rock came out next, and the three conversed more before celebrating WrestleMania together over some Steveweisers. | - In the WrestleMania Kickoff show, the WWE Tag Team Championships were defended as the Usos defended against RybAxel, Los Matadores and the Real Americans in a four-corner elimination match. Possibly the Usos' toughest challenge yet, they had to defeat three of the top tag teams in the WWE today in this single outing. Jack Swagger eliminated Fernando to eliminate Los Matadores at 5:12, whilst Antonio Cesaro eliminated RybAxel after hitting the Neutralizer on Curtis Axel in 7:23. The Usos then got the victory after an assisted top rope splash on Cesaro to retain the titles in 16:13. After the match, Cesaro turned on Swagger and Zeb Colter after being blamed on their loss, leaving to the applause of the fans in attendance. | - The WrestleMania Kickoff expert panel was hosted by Josh Mathews, Mick Foley Booker T and Shawn Michaels. Halfway through the Kickoff show (which was a special ninety-minute edition) Shawne Merriman, Jimmy Hart, Alex Riley and Trish Stratus took over. Renee Young handled social media discussion whilst Byron Saxton and Tom Phillips directed backstage interviews. | - In the Class of 2014 Hall of Fame ceremony the night before WrestleMania XXX, WWE Superstars, friends, family and fans alike aligned in the Smoothie King Center to honor this year's inductee class - featuring the Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts, Razor Ramon, Paul Bearer (represented by his sons Daniel and Michael), Mr T and Carlos Colón. The inductees also appeared briefly the next night at WrestleMania for further honoring by the 70,000 strong in attendance. | WWE WRESTLEMANIA XXX RESULTS: Daniel Bryan def. NXT News of the Week (April 3 - April 10, 2014)
- It was a big weekend for NXT talents as they attended WrestleMania weekend, interacting with the festivities at Axxess in matches and in meet-and-greets - some talents even featured on WrestleMania XXX itself, or the night after. While Bo Dallas, Sami Zayn, Alexander Rusev, Paige, Charlotte, Emma, Alexa Bliss, Baron Corbin, Jason Jordan, Colin Cassady, Enzo Amore and C.J. Parker appeared in matches throughout Axxess - Charlotte, Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks all appeared in Triple H's entrance under his helm. Additionally, Alexander Rusev and Paige made their debuts the night after WrestleMania on RAW from New Orleans - as Paige managed to defeat Tamina Snuka in non-title action and Alexander Rusev assaulted the Big Show. No word on where this lands either star in NXT, but it appears that they may be working double duty for now. (April 8, 2014)
- Eddie Edwards was present at the NXT Experience meet-and-greets at WrestleMania Axxess and noted to a fan that he's working hard and should be making his debut "sooner rather than later". He didn't give much more insight, which could imply he could be bypassing NXT and debuting on the main roster - although we aren't sure. (April 5, 2014)
- In similar news to Paige and Alexander Rusev, it appears as though Emma will be working on the main roster in addition to NXT. She is still the NXT Women's Champion - although this isn't acknowledged on RAW or SmackDown. Of note, she isn't currently being used in main roster storylines. (April 8, 2014) |

#RAW MONDAY NIGHT RAW - Monday 7th April 2014 - New Orleans, LA (#1089) LIVE on the USA Network!
ANTONIO CESARO vs JACK SWAGGER; NO CONTEST - After being eliminated by Antonio Cesaro last night at WrestleMania by being body slammed over the top rope, the Big Show was out to get some redemption tonight as he attempted to run in during the 'Swiss Superman's match with Jack Swagger to boos from the hostile post-WrestleMania. Show hit the ring and grabbed both dissolved Real Americans by their throats getting set for a double Chokeslam: but that would not end up being the case, as suddenly NXT's Alexander Rusev hit the ring from the crowd and kicked the 'World's Largest Athlete' in the kidney. Rusev continued as Cesaro nailed Show with a big European uppercut - Swagger bailing to the outside. Rusev then laid Big Show out with an impactful superkick leaving the seven-foot giant out on his back. The fans applauded the NXT Superstar who recognized him, as Rusev roared to the capacity crowd.
After being victorious in the Vickie Guerrero Invitational last night, the Divas Champion AJ Lee made her way out to the ring to brag about her win much to the chagrin of ally Tamina Snuka. Snuka stood idly by and rolled her eyes accordingly as AJ continued to brag and brag about her victory. However as AJ continued to talk about her reign being 295 days long and counting - the theme of NXT's Paige hit prompting the arrival of the 'Anti-Diva' and former NXT Women's Champion. Paige got into the ring and confronted AJ, simply stating "I want a shot at your Divas Championship!" AJ simply looked her up and down and responded, inviting her to take on Tamina Snuka instead.
PAIGE def. TAMINA SNUKA BY DQ - The 'Anti-Diva' got a huge ovation after making her debut in standing up to the Divas Champion AJ Lee: unfortunately for Paige, AJ put her up against Tamina Snuka, AJ's only friend - who certainly wasn't happy about not winning the Divas Championship for herself last night. Tamina tried to work over Paige in this match, but the Brit was able to wow the audience with her abilities before going to hit a Paige Turner just for AJ to blindsight her causing the disqualification in 3:18. *3/4
After the match, AJ Lee continued to pound away on the 'Anti-Diva' alongside Tamina Snuka, who seemed angry with AJ for getting her disqualified. AJ ordered Tamina to go to the top rope for the Superfly Splash, but Paige managed to move, the 'Anti-Diva' then connecting with the Paige Turner on AJ causing the Divas Champion to scramble.
#MainEvent WWE MAIN EVENT - Tuesday 8th April 2014 - Lafayette, LA (#80) LIVE on the WWE Network & ION TV
ALEXANDER RUSEV def. SIN CARA - Technically the debut of NXT's Alexander Rusev was last night on RAW, however his in-ring debut came tonight on Main Event against none other than Sin Cara - another superstar he has recently been involved with on NXT as well. Sin Cara tried to jump around the ring to take down the big 'Bulgarian Brute' - however Rusev continued to overpower Cara and floored him with the Bullplex and several Muay-Thai kicks as the announcers talked up the attack on the Big Show last night. Rusev managed to put down Sin Cara eventually with the jumping superkick followed up by the Accolade forcing Cara into submission in 4:04. **1/4
The 'Bulgarian Brute' continued to celebrate after the match, growling as his impactful music continued to play out.
#SmackDown FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN - Friday 11th April 2014 - Lafayette, LA (#764) Taped: Tuesday 8th April 2014 - Broadcast on the SyFy Network
ANTONIO CESARO def. THE BIG SHOW - After interfering in his match on Monday Night RAW, the final two participants in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal this past Sunday at WrestleMania continued their feud tonight on SmackDown, as the 'Swiss Superman' took on the Big Show and received a good reaction from the Lafayette crowd, scoring the victory with the impressive Neutralizer in 7:12. **
However after the match, Antonio Cesaro celebrated his win and began to leave with the André the Giant Memorial trophy as the Big Show slowly returned to his feet after suffering a loss tonight on SmackDown - just to once again be attacked from behind by Alexander Rusev. The 'Bulgarian Brute' found it harder than on Monday Night RAW to take down Big Show but found an opening as he charged Show off of his feet with a Muay Thai kick. Rusev stomped away on the 'World's Largest Athlete' in deja vu from Monday - the NXT Superstar immediately putting a big target on his own back.
Paige was interviewed in the backstage area by Tom Phillips, as the 'Anti-Diva' talked about how explosive her debut was and talking about her past credentials all leading to this point - her WWE debut. Paige vowed to be the one to end AJ Lee's Divas Championship reign, stating that she was about to beat Tamina Snuka when she was attacked last Monday night on RAW. The 'Anti-Diva' seemed adamant about it, as she headed off for singles action.
PAIGE def. ALICIA FOX - These two Divas have met before on NXT, but this came five days after the Vickie Guerrero Invitational which Alicia Fox felt jilted about over losing - and Paige was four days following her debut on Monday Night RAW. Fox used her long legs to put the footwork to Paige, but the 'Anti-Diva' made a quick comeback and made surprisingly short work of the former Divas Champion with the Paige Turner for the victory in 2:28. *3/4

| NXT PROFILE - Baron Corbin 275lbs - 6'8 - Kansas City, Kansas Finisher - The End of Days
He hasn't even been a member of NXT for long, and Baron Corbin has already made a huge impact. Perhaps the Superstar with the most mystique, the 'Enigma' is only in his second year in the business, and being a WWE Superstar. Originally an offensive lineman for the Indianapolis Colts and the Arizona Cardinals - as well as a former three-time Golden Gloves Champion - the 'Enigma' decided to make a move into a new occupation - an occupation he's loved for years, and that's being a WWE Superstar. He signed to a contract in 2012 and immediately began his training in NXT and later the Performance Center, honing his abilities and even carrying over some knowledge from his days as a lineman and a boxer.
Baron, despite what many think has appeared on NXT in the past - although in losing efforts. Before he made an explosive re-appearance on the scene this past January, Corbin was on the losing end of several matches: including losses to Tyson Kidd, C.J. Parker, Alexander Rusev and Bo Dallas. However that all changed when he emerged and changed his image completely this past winter. An outlaw, a lone wolf - two words to describe Baron Corbin. He has a presence about him that screams future WWE World Heavyweight Champion: and that could very well be the pipedream to this rookie.
He is undefeated since his debut and is on the verge of running through all of his fellow former trainees down at the Performance Center - but we still haven't seen a lot of Corbin - just the tip of the iceberg. Over time we can see what kind of competitor Baron Corbin is, and what type of person he will become. He's impressed many so far, but he has a long way to go still. Only time will wait for us to see the other side of the 'Enigma'. |

NXT time. Bo Dallas, you cheeky bastard. I hate you, you know that!? Mojo Rawley sucks, glad to see Leo Kruger destroy him and give him his first loss. Lol, Mojo was undefeated. I like the idea of it though since he is looking to end Baron Corbin's undefeated streak as well. A good interview with the bitch himself, Tyler Breeze. Arrogant, Renee? Please, he is far from arrogant. He's just a bitch. Next up, the NXT Women's Championship is on the line and Emma retains via disqualification as Charlotte and Sasha Banks get involved. Paige gets in to the mix as well and... TURNS ON EMMA! WHAT THE HAIL!? #BookerTCommentary. I don't know if she really joined the BFFs or if she is just being a psycho Paige, we'll see what comes of that for sure. The Canadian Dream Time, eh? I think he meant team. Stupid Canadian Zayn. Paige will speak next week? Okay, answers then I suppose. Next up, The Ascension slam through Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger and of course, Dillinger gets blasted after the match as well. WE ARE THE ASCENSION! WE WILL SQUASH! Corey Graves getting ripped on by commentary but he just beat up Dash Wilder pretty good. He very well could be in NXT Championship contention, sure, but I still see quite a few guys ahead of him. Now he does the same thing he did to Neville to Wilder, which is definitely a good message sender. I WANT KALISTO! I WANT SIN CARA! CRUSH! Says Rusev, that big brute bastard. Finally, a pretty good main event with The Legionnaires getting the victory over Tyson Kidd and Sami Zayn with the right guy getting defeated in Kidd via The Accolade. Of course, Bo Dallas is around being a cock. I'm not entirely sure he retains next week, but, I'm leaning towards that. A good edition of NXT.

So great to see the Leo Kruger character still around here. Kruger/Corbin feud could be interesting! Much better than Corbin/Bull Dempsey anyway. You captured Tyler Breeze really well in the backstage interview with Devin. Dolph back down in NXT is great, it will do wonders for guys like Tyler feuding with him. I love you having Paige being out for herself. I wish that's how her character was on the main roster in WWE currently. I guess it's only a matter of time before Kidd turns on Zayn. Meh, squash for The Ascension. I wonder if we'll be getting a feud between Tye/Jordan since Dillinger didn't attempt to break up the pin? Looking forward to seeing who takes the title belts from The Ascension. Graves/Neville feud has so much potential and I have no doubts you'll do it justice. Love Graves doing the Lucky 13 around the ringpost. I'm guessing that we'll see that happen regularly over the next few weeks. Ohh, interesting backstage segment with The Legionnaires. I'm intriguede to see who their friend is. Wow, is Bo Dallas the friend? Huge win for Rusev and English. Not at all surprised to see them go over, to be honest. I hope Bo's alliance with The Legionnaires is a one time thing as personally I don't think he meshes well with the stable. They seem like polar opposites. Otherwise, as always, a solid show.
Absolutely loved you doing the WrestleMania Axxess stuff. Was a fun show overall and I can imagine it would have been fun to book. The main event between Rusev and Zayn was great and I really liked the addition of Bo as the referee and then the Screwjob-esque finish. Post-Mania debuts were all good choices. Would have liked Sylvester to debut alongside Rusev as he needs the mouthpiece, in my opinion. Otherwise, both Paige and Rusev were the right people to call up. I wonder who'll join them on the main roster next.

#WWENXT WWE NXT - Thursday 10th April 2014 - Winter Park, FL (#216) Taped: Thursday 13th March 2014 - Broadcast on the WWE Network! "BIG FIGHT FEEL"
Tonight on NXT:
- In the main event, Bo Dallas will put his NXT Heavyweight Championship on the line against Sami Zayn - can Dallas knock off the world-class sensation for a second time and keep his title, or will Sami Zayn win the big one and fulfill his new year's resolution?
- After laying out the open challenge to any tag team out there in the world today, the Ascension could potentially have a hard time tonight when they put their NXT Tag Team Championships on the line.
- In recent weeks Sin Cara and Kalisto have been on the opposing end of attacks from the Legionnaires - specifically Alexander Rusev. However tonight, the match has been signed and Alexander Rusev and Aiden English are scheduled for tag team action against the luchadores, Kalisto and Sin Cara.
- We are expected to hear from Paige in regards to her actions over the past couple of weeks - is she a member of the BFFs or an ally of the NXT Women's Champion Emma?
- We will watch the highlights recorded by Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady from last weekend when they appeared at WrestleMania Axxess!
After the WWE signature aired, we went to Renee Young as she was sat down in a "living room" style setup backstage. "Ladies and gentlemen, tonight I am joined by Sami Zayn, who tonight will challenge one-on-one for the NXT Heavyweight Championship against Bo Dallas". Cut to Sami Zayn, who is sat beside Renee, as Young welcomed him to the show. "Sami, your journey so far has been awe-inspiring, getting to this point. You've faced Bo Dallas before for the NXT gold - do you think that you can knock him off this time around?"
"Thanks, Renee. I certainly hope so. I've been in the ring with Bo before yes - however that was a more naíve Sami Zayn. He managed to sneak a victory against me, but now, some seven months later, I know exactly what he's about. I know how he competes, and he is smart - but he is also underhanded. But I've seen so many people fall - from Leo Kruger, Colin Cassady, my old friend Kassius Ohno, Corey Graves - even my former rival Antonio Cesaro. I've seen Bo beat them all, and he has beaten me before. But tonight that changes. I'm out to make a difference in NXT - for everybody out there that doesn't want to see Bo Dallas as NXT Champion anymore. I'm standing up for them. Tonight, it's my new year's resolution, and it's going to come true when I become NXT Heavyweight Champion". The camera zoomed in on his focused, motivated face as he spoke, certainly highlighting how serious he is about becoming the champion.
Cut to the opening video package for NXT, showcasing the ensemble of stars in NXT today - among them being Bo Dallas, Sami Zayn, the Ascension, Emma, Corey Graves, Adrian Neville and Paige. We go to the NXT Arena in Winter Park, Florida's Full Sail University as Byron Saxton, Alex Riley and William Regal welcome us to the show, talking highly of what should be a huge night of action in NXT. "Tonight we've got a stacked card, and it could definitely be the biggest night of NXT's history since NXT ArRIVAL!" boasted Byron Saxton whilst the theme of Sin Cara played.(00:03)
SIN CARA & KALISTO def. THE LEGIONNAIRES - With a big win for them last week, Alexander Rusev and Aiden English were proving to everybody that Sylvester Lefort has friends in high places - namely the NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas. Alexander Rusev tonight though was a very happy man, with the chance to finally get his hands on Sin Cara and Kalisto after being restrained several weeks in a row. Sin Cara and Kalisto were here to prove that they were no slouches to the larger bullies, as Cara started off dragging Aiden English around the ring with numerous acrobatic maneuvers, including a top rope arm drag as Kalisto then came in and continued the work over the shoulder of the 'Artisté', whilst Sylvester Lefort watched on in visible frustration. The 'King of Flight' however took agility to a new level with his lucha-libre savvy moveset, connecting with numerous sharp kicks to the arm of English before Aiden used his strength to reverse out of a cross-armbreaker attempt, slamming Kalisto on his back on the canvas! English followed up with a double foot stomp into the chest of Kalisto before tagging in the 'Bulgarian Brute', who licked his lips as he got inside and began to choke Kalisto against the second rope, dropping several forearms over the back of the Mexico City daredevil's head.
Rusev growled as he picked Kalisto up and delivered a Bullplex, covering for two - as Kalisto showed resilience. Rusev and English then took it in turns manipulating the 'King of Flight', but at every attempt made to cover Kalisto, after a double suplex, a powerslam, and even Rusev's jumping superkick, Kalisto refused to stay down! English soon attempted to go for a legdrop but Kalisto managed to dodge it, then springing to his feet and nailing a standing corkscrew moonsault onto English! Kalisto was slow, but he made the tag to Sin Cara, as the WWE Superstar hit the ring and almost scored the win with a sunset flip on English, until Rusev kicked him in the head! English and Rusev then began to work over Sin Cara now, as Kalisto tried to root for Cara to make the tag whilst Rusev decimated Cara, working on his torso. Rusev was setting up for the Accolade - but at the last minute Kalisto hit the ring and nailed a springboard dropkick to the chest of Rusev sending him stumbling into the corner. Kalisto sprung off of Cara's back onto Rusev and connected with a monkey flip before both Mexicans dropkicked him in the legs, connecting multiple kicks to the torso of Rusev in succession! English got the tag as he came in and tried to apply a cobra clutch on Cara, but Sin Cara reversed it into a victory roll scoring a big upset in 9:36! **3/4
"The underdogs got it! The underdogs got the win!" exclaimed Alex Riley whilst the NXT Universe cheered loudly. Sin Cara rolled out of the victory roll and held his hands high in victory - just for Aiden English to jump him from behind! "Sin Cara and Kalisto have proved that they aren't going to let bigger opponents walk all over them, and this is what they get?" added Byron Saxton, as English picked Cara up and nailed him with the Director's Cut to boos, as Sylvester Lefort directed traffic from ringside. The 'Artisté' went to pick Kalisto up, but the 'King of Flight' reversed it into a hurricanrana sending English to the outside! Alexander Rusev then climbed into the ring and charged Kalisto but Kalisto sidestepped him causing the 'Bulgarian Brute' to get tied up in the ropes! Kalisto then used the knee of Rusev trapped in the ropes to plancha over the top rope onto English, the 'King of Flight' on fire!
"This rookie luchador is making an example for every small competitor out there, his heart is so big and he's proving he's no slouch!" commented William Regal as Kalisto posed after the plancha - when suddenly a man with a mustache jumped him from behind on the ramp! "Who is this!?" questioned Byron, as the unidentified man stood over Kalisto, before Sylvester Lefort, Alexander Rusev and Aiden English left with the man - Kalisto and Sin Cara down in the ring and on the floor. "I always have a plan!" Sylvester Lefort was heard exclaiming.
A recap video aired, taking a look back at the events of WrestleMania XXX last weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana, such as the Ultimate Warrior's induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, Brock Lesnar ending the Undertaker's WrestleMania streak, and Daniel Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It concluded with WWE thanking us for our support. (00:19)
TYLER BREEZE def. TRAVIS TYLER - Two weeks ago 'Prince Pretty' was the reason for Dolph Ziggler and Bo Dallas' competitive main event to come to an end as the iPhone wielding Tyler Breeze cost the 'Show Off' his match against the NXT Heavyweight Champion. Last week, Tyler voiced his reason for taking out Dolph Ziggler because of him being hotter and better than the former World Heavyweight Champion. Breeze took on Performance Center wrestler Travis Tyler tonight, a former amateur wrestler with the NCAA, a former All State football player and a state champion weighlifter as well. The Colorado-born Tyler tried to work his way around Breeze in mat-wrestling to start off, but the 'King of Cutesville' used his trickery to come back from it, connecting with a sharp Supermodel Kick for a near fall. Breeze got more serious about the match as he continued to work over Tyler before Travis tried to mount a comeback, but Breeze caught him off guard with a Beauty Shock out of nowhere, scoring the victory in 3:46. *3/4
"Just like that, Breeze managed to pick up the win. That Beauty Shock is an amazing move" mentioned William Regal, as Byron Saxton exclaimed "An impressive victory for Tyler Breeze tonight". The Full Sail crowd booed as Tyler's hand was raised in victory, Breeze then taking his iPhone and posing with it as 'Prince Pretty's image appeared on the big screens - however this was interrupted by the theme of Dolph Ziggler! "He's here!" exclaimed Alex Riley as Breeze looked shocked. Suddenly, Ziggler appeared clothed in a blazer, as Dolph had a big smile on his face. "Winter Park, you just can't get rid of me. Tyler, don't think I've forgotten what you did to me a few weeks ago. From what I hear you've been buzzing around the locker room thinking that you're the 'Show Off' and that you're better than me: but son, you don't have any kind of idea what I've gone through to get to where I am today. Tyler Breeze, you may be pretty, but you aren't prettier than me - and Breeze, you may be good, but you aren't better than me either! Show - Off". Ziggler smiled as the NXT Universe cheered, Dolph then leaving as the fans cheered him on. Tyler was left looking on angry by Ziggler upstaging him here tonight. "Tyler's going red with anger again..." mentioned Regal.
We went to the backstage area where Devin Taylor was shown. "Ladies and gentleman, I introduce to you the 'Anti-Diva', Paige". Paige appeared on-screen beside Devin with a snarl on her face, as Devin continued. "Paige, over the past few weeks you have confused everybody with your unpredictable behavior. You continue to target the BFFs but at the same time, we've seen you speaking with Summer Rae. Your friendship with Emma has been severed completely since you lost the NXT Women's Championship. Paige, do you have any comments for the NXT Universe?"
"Before I say anything, I just want to say that this whole interview shtick is dumb, and I shouldn't have to explain anything. However, since everybody wants to make such a big deal out of this - I am not Emma's friend. I may have been once, but I'm definitely not anymore. And yes, I've spoken to Summer Rae before. But she will always be a little minx with her panties in a bunch. As of right now, I want nothing more than to reclaim what is rightfully mine - and that, Devin Taylor, is my NXT Women's Championship." Paige then stormed off, as William Regal commented. "I can understand Paige's frustration, but by siding with nobody, Paige may have stepped into hot waters with both the BFFs and Emma". ( 00: 26)
A video package aired, reviewing the recent rampage of Corey Graves. It was narrated by the 'Savior of Misbehavior' who spoke in front of a black curtain. "I've been held back for a long time. I've had to hold my silence" he revealed as he was shown teaming with Adrian Neville, winning the NXT Tag Team Championships together. "I was always overshadowed. Those fans didn't care about me. Only him." he continued as footage showed the 'Man That Gravity Forgot' hit a Red Arrow on somebody in the ring whilst Graves watched from ringside. "We were champions. But I'm so glad we lost them. I didn't want to have them." he added as it showed the Ascension hitting the Fall of Man on Neville to win the titles at NXT ArRIVAL whilst Graves watched from ringside. "But now, now I am me. And I am unstoppable. I am dangerous. I am merciless". Footage of Graves assaulting Adrian Neville three weeks ago aired with Graves locking in the Lucky 13 on Neville around the ring post and slamming a steel chair into his knee, followed by Graves doing the same to Dante Dash last week. "I am Corey Graves", the video concluded fading out. (00:28)
- NEXT WEEK: A graphic appeared as the NXT announce team revealed that after being taken out of action by his former fellow NXT Tag Team Champion Corey Graves four weeks ago, Adrian Neville will be in attendance to address the 'Savior of Misbehavior'.
(00:28)
We returned to NXT as the Ascension was on their way to the ring, the NXT Tag Team Champions getting ready for their open challenge tonight. Konnor and Viktor climbed into the ring as Konnor took a microphone, blurting, "Last week we put every tag team out there on watch. We want to see who has the guts to step in the ring with us". Viktor then took over, taking the microphone as the two continued to pace around the ring. "So, who's it gonna be? Show your faces, and these titles are going on the line!" After a few moments of waiting, suddenly a very familiar dance track played...and out came Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay! "What the bloody hell!" exerted William Regal, as Too Cool danced their way down to the ring. "It's 2000 all over again!" exclaimed Alex Riley as the Ascension got ready in the ring.
NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - THE ASCENSION def. TOO COOL - The NXT Universe were buzzed at this unexpected revelation, as Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay greeted the NXT Universe with their dancing antics, putting their hands together alongside the Full Sail University. The Ascension weren't in the mood for this though, as Konnor and Grandmaster Sexay locked up, quickly tossing Grandmaster across the ring. Konnor then attempted to charge him, but the veteran responded with several rights and lefts, followed up by a half-crescent dropkick for a near fall. Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty worked together on Konnor, including forcing him to do the Mexican wave before taking him down with a double clothesline. Too Cool, the former World Tag Team Champions continued to pursue Konnor but Viktor got the tag and the champions went to work on Scotty - a double shoulder block and a backbreaker connecting. Viktor and Konnor continued to dominate Scotty 2 Hotty as Grandmaster Sexay tried to get his partner back in the game - and he eventually did, Scotty with an enzuigiri on Viktor!
Scotty finally made the tag, and in came Grandmaster Sexay with several rights for the larger Konnor - Grandmaster doing the splits then dropping him with a clothesline! Sexay got his goggles out and tried to go for the Hip Hop Drop - but Konnor got up and nailed him with a spinebuster! The Ascension squared Grandmaster up for the Fall of Man - but that's when Scotty came from behind, nailing a bulldog on Viktor before gearing up for the Worm! Scotty danced and nailed the Worm on Viktor - but Konnor came from behind, clotheslining Scotty out of the ring. Sexay meanwhile went back to the top rope and attempted the missile dropkick on Konnor but he dodged it, Grandmaster Sexay getting nothing but canvas! Konnor and a recovering Viktor were in position at this point, and they nailed him with the Fall of Man for the victory in 5:11. **
The crowd booed loudly as Konnor and Viktor celebrated their impactful win in the ring, the Ascension posing with their NXT Tag Team Championships whilst Grandmaster Sexay was helped out of the ring by Scotty 2 Hotty. "It was a good nostalgia trip, but the Ascension decimated Too Cool tonight" commented Byron Saxton as Konnor and Viktor stood tall. "You've got to wonder who can take these two men off of their pedestal with the momentum they have going for them right now" noted Alex Riley as the Ascension then began to leave, a successful title defense tonight. (00:35)
An advertisement aired, promoting the WWE Network - available now, for $9.99 a month plus six-month commitment! (00:36)
Coming back, we went to see Dolph Ziggler walking down the corridor with a cup of coffee in his hand, greeting staff members as he passed by. Suddenly though, Tyler Breeze jumped the 'Show Off' from behind! "Wait, there's Tyler!" said Byron, as Breeze slammed Dolph against the wall not once but twice, before Tyler nailed Ziggler with a Supermodel Kick - 'Prince Pretty' having lost it tonight. Breeze yelled at Ziggler "Nobody upstages Tyler Breeze! I am gorgeous, and I am better than you!" he shouted, as Tyler pounded into Ziggler, then picking up the former World Heavyweight Champion's cup of coffee, pouring the hot cup of Joe on his face! "Tyler has snapped!" exclaimed Alex Riley, as Ziggler was left on the floor riving in pain with the coffee on his face. "I told you I saw red in Tyler Breeze's face, and now Dolph's going to have red in his" concluded William Regal as Breeze had left the scene an angry individual. ( 00: 37)
We went to a video montage of several clips showing us various activities from WrestleMania Axxess last weekend, among them being fans making their own ring entrance, tryouts in rings, and among them - the NXT Experience. But who was there? Enzo Amore and Big Cass. At this point the professional montage turned to cell phone footage again, as Cass held his phone out. "Ayo NXT Universe, this is Big Cass, I'm seven feet tall, and me and Enzo are here at WrestleMania Axxess - it's Saturday afternoon, and I gotta tell ya, I'm freakin' hungry!" As the video hovered over him, Enzo was heard off-screen complaining "Hey man, you stole my bit. That ain't cool".
A brief series of clips added together to create a montage with Enzo and Cass signing autographs, including a brief cameo from Sami Zayn who was there signing with them. It then showed Colin Cassady in action with Enzo Amore walking around the ringside area narrating the match. "Hey, Enzo Amore here, I'm about to make my long awaited comeback on NXT and everybody's gonna be blown away by how much tougher I've ever been. Guns out swinging, all the time. Up there is my boy, Big Cass. And he's about to show this Greenpeace huggin' Nancyboy that there ain't no planet B - but there is a planet Beaten, and tonight Cass is gonna show 'im". Enzo recorded Cass as he put C.J. Parker away with the East River Crossing, before the two began to dance around in the ring with the phone in their hands.
We went back to the autograph tables, as Colin Cassady was shown with a grin on his face. "I'm tellin' ya guys, there ain't nothing like WrestleMania, and it's been a hot dog of a weekend." Cass passed the phone over to Enzo Amore, who commented further: "You have no idea how excited I am to come back, Cass. I was watchin' you earlier beating the snot out of C.J. Nancyboy, and I'm all about coming back and maulin' some scumbags in that ring". Cass continued by saying "how you doin'".
(00:39)
We returned to Full Sail, as backstage Sami Zayn was shown gearing up just moments before his big match with Bo Dallas for the NXT Heavyweight Championship. "Look at the determination on the face of Sami Zayn as he is moments away from his opportunity at the NXT Heavyweight Championship" spoke Alex Riley, as suddenly Tyson Kidd appeared in front of Sami. "Hey, before you go out there - if there's any sort of shenanigans out there like there was last week with the Legionnaires, I promise I'll be there" commented Tyson. Sami simply looked at Kidd and told him "thanks, but Tyson there's something I've gotta do tonight - and that's show the world what I've got". Zayn walked away from his recent ally, as Kidd watched on. "Go get 'em, Sami!"
(00:39)
In another corridor, Bo Dallas was shown making his way down a corridor on his way to the main event match with Sami Zayn when he was stopped by John Bradshaw Layfield. Dallas looked blankly at him as the NXT General Manager came out with the words: "Best of luck tonight. I know we've had our differences, but I know it'll be one heck of a match." The strange change of character for Layfield revealed itself to the NXT Heavyweight Champion, as Bo side-stepped Layfield and continued on his way to the ring, the NXT GM left to stand back and watch with a blank expression on his face. "That was weird" commented William Regal. (00:40)
#NXTTitle
NXT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BO DALLAS (c) vs SAMI ZAYNThe time was now for Sami Zayn, a man that had set a new year's resolution for himself on December 25 of last year to be holding the NXT Heavyweight Championship by the end of 2014 - and with a whopping eight months left of the year should he win this match. Zayn made his way down to the ring looking rather focused but as energetic as ever, as the NXT Universe chanted 'Olé' in correlation with his ska-punk theme music as William Regal set the tone for the evening. "This crowd in Full Sail have witnessed Sami Zayn's journey to NXT, to getting the respect from Antonio Cesaro, gaining the acceptance of this WWE landscape - and tonight he has the chance to win the big one here in NXT". The NXT Universe cheered as the challenger stood in the ring waving to the fans yet with a serious look on his face, as Byron Saxton commented, "It's make or break for Sami Zayn. He's lost to Bo Dallas before, but that was then and here we are seven months later. The genesis of Sami Zayn could lie in this match with Dallas tonight".
With that, the theme of Bo Dallas followed - however this was a new theme song, and almost screamed of inspirational intent. With that, out came the NXT Heavyweight Champion flexing his arms outwards as he basked in the boos from the NXT Universe. "And here comes the champ. He's been the NXT Heavyweight Champion for 322 days, but tonight could be the last time we see him with that gold around his waist" added Alex Riley, as Bo calmly walked down to the ring to boos, albeit with a loud smile still on his face. Dallas climbed into the ring and grinned at Sami from across the ring, holding the title high to show him what's at stake.
After in-ring introductions from Eden, the bell sounded as Bo and Sami looked each other square in the eye and approached one another, before Dallas swiftly tried to go for a roll-up on Zayn for a quick two count. Dallas then ducked out of the way of a rebounding Sami, zipping out of the ring. "I guess a wise strategy so far to get Sami worked up early" commented William Regal as Bo stood outside of the ring awaiting Zayn - but that's when Sami quick like a cat zipped out of the ring as well in pursuit of him, Bo leading him around the ring just to try and turn around and clothesline him at ringside - but Sami ducked, and gave Bo a big back body drop right on the floor! "Bad move, Bo!" exclaimed Riley as Sami dragged Bo into the ring and immediately hit him with a flatliner, then attempting the Koji Clutch early just for Bo to grip onto the bottom rope to boos. "Now Sami's on the offense, and that is not what Bo needs right now. Dallas knows that he can't outwrestle Zayn hence his reluctance to be in the ring with him - but he needs to keep him from going on the offense" noted Regal as Sami broke the hold.
Sami awaited Dallas to return to his feet, as Bo actually locked up with Zayn this time, whipping him over head and going after the arm, but Zayn quickly reversed it into an wristlock - Dallas managed to nip out of it and turn it into a hammerlock, but Zayn rolled out of it and sent the champion reeling into the turnbuckle - Zayn following with a bridging German suplex for two! "Bo tried anyway, I guess - and it didn't pay off because once again Sami is opportunistic and hungry for the NXT title!" declared Byron Saxton as Sami then went for the front facelock on Dallas. Bo brought things up to their feet as the fans chanted 'Olé' again for the challenger. "This has been all Sami so far despite Bo's best efforts" added Saxton, as Sami then went for the exploder suplex into the corner just for Bo to block it, going for the Bo-dog but Sami slipped out and nailed Bo with a bridging back suplex again for two. "All of these near falls are fatiguing the champion, and that's why Bo needs to get on the offense here" said Regal, as Bo then slowly got up and raked the eyes of Sami. Dallas then rammed the challenger's head into the top rope before raking his eyes over the top rope, but when he went for a quick Bo-Dazzler, the blinded Sami Zayn tried to flip it into a northern lights suplex: but Bo landed on his feet and caught Zayn on the bridge of the nose with a dropkick!
"That could be the game changer Bo needed here" said Byron, as Bo covered Sami for two. Sami seemed to be holding his nose a lot, as Bo decided to focus on it, climbing on top of Sami and trying to pound Sami in it as the referee attempted to pull him away. "Seems like Bo's found an opening now" mentioned Riley as Dallas brought Sami to his feet and rocked the challenger with a knee trembler causing Regal to exclaim "Ah the knee trembler! An old favourite of mine". Sami continued to hold his nose, as Bo went to bring Sami back up just for Zayn to cradle Bo just for two yet again, but Bo dove back on Sami and went back to pounding away on Sami aggressively trying to weaken the challenger. Bo picked Sami up and sent him face first into the top turnbuckle with an Irish whip before following up with a bulldog for two, as Sami continued to hold his nose. "And here's what we call the aggressive side of Bo Dallas. He can be very dangerous in this position, and you can see he's focusing all of his offense around that nose of the challenger". This was true as Bo shoved his fingers into the nostrils of Sami's nose and dug his knee into the back of Zayn.
"This is certainly unique" mentioned Byron as Bo wrenched on the nose, as Riley added "But that referee's got to be checking whether this is legal or not! Bo is cutting off the oxygen Sami needs from the nose, I'm not even sure if that's legal or not!" he exclaimed, as referee Jason Ayers eventually told Bo to let go of the controversial hold. Dallas taunted to the booing Full Sail crowd, saying "I love you all!" before stomping Zayn on the back of the head. Dallas snapmared Zayn and dropkicked him in the back of the head again for a near fall, as Dallas was now in total control of a weakened Zayn. "Bo's got him right where he wants Sami Zayn now" noted Regal. Dallas picked Zayn up again and sent him off the ropes, but Sami ducked a clothesline attempt by Bo, bouncing off the ropes - just to run into a forearm smash once again into the nose of Sami Zayn! "Ouch! That was one stiff forearm, Sami's nose has to be in bad shape now after all of the beatings he is taking to it!" noted Byron, as Dallas smiled onwards, applying a cravate, making sure to cover the nose of Zayn again, as Bo then hit a unique cravate suplex on Zayn, covering with his forearm over the bridge of the Syrian-Canadian's nose for two once again. "He's doing such a good job of going after the snout of the sensation, but it's going to take more than that to put him down".
Dallas then decided to try to go for the Bo-Dazzler now, as Sami appeared motionless as he was propped on his feet, Bo hooking the leg: but Sami broke free, picking Dallas up and dropping him with the Blue Thunder Bomb! Zayn was down and continued to cover his nose, as Dallas tried to recover, the fans chanting loudly for Sami Zayn. He got to his feet as did the champion now, as Sami ducked a clothesline from a charging Dallas, springing off the ropes and nailing Dallas with a leg lariat, covering for two! "Just like that, Sami's back on the offense!" said Riley as Zayn ducked another clothesline and attempted another Blue Thunder Bomb, but Dallas slipped out of it, just for Zayn to turn Dallas around and nail him with the exploder suplex into the corner! "Bad, bad place for the champion!" exerted Riley, as Zayn charged Dallas for the Helluva Kick, but Bo ducked and tried to roll Sami up with the tights for two - Zayn then brutally falling backwards clashing heads with Bo as both men were now down! "Fatigue is setting in, and it's all because of the fast change in momentum on the part of Sami Zayn".
Zayn and Dallas returned to their feet with Bo attempted a dropkick but Zayn blocked it, Sami then charging Dallas just for Bo to send him over the top rope, but Sami landed on the apron and delivered a huge suplex out of the ring onto the floor, the fans in attendance chanting "This is awesome!" in response. "A critical moment for both men!" exclaimed Saxton as Sami and Bo were stirring whilst Jason Ayers started the count for both men. Both men got to their feet on the floor, as Sami attempted to nail Bo with a right hand, but Dallas punched Sami square in the nose and slid back inside of the ring, then slipping into the ring to try for a baseball slide - but when he came back Sami dodged it, slipped inside of the ring and came back at Bo with a huge torpedo dive through the ropes onto Bo Dallas! The fans were loud now, rooting for the challenger to claim the title, as Sami dragged Bo back into the ring again. "The wheels are in motion, can Sami Zayn get the job done!?" exerted Riley as Saxton noted Sami's stance whilst Bo was left groggy in the corner. "Could it be time?" Sami charged for the Helluva Kick, but Bo dragged Jason Ayers in the way, Sami laying out the referee! Dallas then dropped Sami with the Bo-Dazzler, as both men were left down in the ring with no referee standing!
"That pesky Bo Dallas will do anything to get away still the NXT Champion! This is Sami's night, and this is where his experience really counts - can he side-step Bo's cheating tactics and win the big one?" mentioned Regal. Suddenly, the inevitable happened: Bo's allies approached the ring - Sylvester Lefort leading Alexander Rusev, Aiden English and the mustached man that attacked Kalisto earlier on, as the three members of the Legionnaires got into the ring to dissect Sami. "Oh no, not now" pleaded Saxton as the unnamed man and English held Zayn up for Rusev to deliver a huge jumping superkick on Zayn! English then went up to the top rope as did the other man, English coming off with the top rope somersault splash - the other with a big flying knee into the chest of the challenger! "Damn it, somebody needs to do something about this!" aggravated Regal spoke, as the Legionnaires then went to leave whilst Lefort revived referee Jason Ayers. Bo slowly rolled over and covered Sami with the referee in position...1...2...no! "What will it take!?" screamed Saxton as the NXT Universe lit up again in "Olé" chants. "It's that fighting spirit of Sami Zayn, he won't die!" as Dallas was slow to get to his feet without the Legionnaires at ringside now. It was now Dallas, Zayn and the dazed referee again.
"This is do or die time for both men" noted Riley, as Dallas and Zayn duked it out trading blows - when all of a sudden Tyson Kidd appeared through the crowd, the fans cheering as Riley exclaimed "Here comes Zayn's friend Tyson Kidd to return the favor!" Saxton responded "But does Zayn really want him here!?". Kidd went up to the top rope as Dallas gained the upper hand and attempted to go for the Bo-Dazzler - but Kidd came off with the diving overhead neckbreaker on the NXT Heavyweight Champion! Kidd slid out of the ring as Zayn fell on top of Dallas...but the groggy referee called for the bell at 14:29! "Wait, what!?" burst Saxton.
WINNER BY DQ, AND STILL NXT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: BO DALLAS (***)
The crowd were baffled, as ring announcer Eden declared "The winner of this match as a result of a disqualification...and STILL NXT Heavyweight Champion, Bo Dallas". The NXT Universe booed loudly, as Bo Dallas put his hand in the air and rolled out of the ring - Sami Zayn, groggy but disappointed looking around in confusion. "I don't know what just happened" mentioned Riley whilst replays aired of the finish.
As we returned to the NXT Arena, Bo Dallas was gasping for air on the rampway, with the NXT Heavyweight Championship in hand waving his arms around at the fans around him "I told you I could do it! I just had to Bolieve!" Meanwhile Sami Zayn glared a hole through Tyson Kidd, who looked shocked and disappointed. "Tyson Kidd was trying to help Sami Zayn out after that attack from the Legionnaires...but he cost Sami his shot at winning the NXT gold. And he could have had it! But it was not to be, and that may have severed this new found friendship" commentated Regal, as Saxton followed up, "Tyson Kidd's slump just added to Sami Zayn's slump, with two losses in two weeks now...and he's cost Sami his biggest goal to date in winning the NXT crown". Dallas continued to celebrate from the top of the ramp whilst Zayn continued to glare at Kidd, who looked saddened and shocked by this whole thing, obviously not intending to get his friend disqualified. NXT went off the air.

NXT time! We got a big main event and Sami Zayn gets an interview to start things off and he sure is confident in becoming NXT Champion tonight. The Legionnaires beat Sin Cara and Kalisto? Not according to the conclusion of your match where the unnamed Lucha Dragons got the pin on Aiden English. A man with a mustache jumped Kalisto from behind! I'm assuming that is Simon Gotch? Anyway, interested to see where this feud continues. Tyler Breeze gets the win over Travis Tyler. Bleh Breeze, to me, as you know. Do like the aggressive side of him, however, in his quest to beating and defeating Dolph Ziggler - his main roster (much better) somewhat doppleganger. Yeah. That. Solid interview with Paige and she has no friends, just one intention: To be NXT Women's Champion. I'm really curious as to when you send your NXT superstars up to the main roster and how much it will effect things. A very nice promo from Corey Graves to display him as a threat towards everyone, not just Adrian Neville. I'm looking forward to how far their feud gos. Hey! Too Cool is in the building! I remember reading about this before I actually watched NXT and glad to see you keep it with The Ascension obviously getting the victory. Prince Pretty lost it on Ziggler, that's it. That's the last straw, time to set the building on fire. #OfficeSpace? No? Yes? Next up, Enzo Amore and Big Cass keep going with their great promos and I'm looking forward to their return to the ring together. Go get 'em, Sami! This is either something or nothing with Kidd. Finally, a great main event between Sami Zayn and Bo Dallas and that chicken-effer gets away with it again! This time, Tyson Kidd costs Bo Dallas the NXT Championship and I'm curious as to what happens from here, seeing as how it seems Kidd didn't do it intentionally --- or did he? And I don't see you turning Zayn heel. Intriguing. A good episode of NXT overall with a lot to be curious about going forward.
