WWE NXT - Thursday 24th April 2014 - Winter Park, FL (#218) Taped: Thursday 24th April 2014 - Broadcast on the WWE Network! "WALK AWAY"
Tonight on NXT:
- The ever talented Divas of NXT are in the spotlight tonight, as we see four of them compete for number one contention to the NXT Women's Championship - Paige, Summer Rae, Sasha Banks and Charlotte all competing in a fatal four-way main event: and the winner will go on to challenge Emma for the title at NXT Unleashed. But can Paige overcome the three members of the BFFs? Or will the BFFs crumble over who wants the NXT Women's title more?
- After the comments from Tyler Breeze as well as the repeated attacks made by 'Prince Pretty' on the WWE Superstar, the 'Show Off' Dolph Ziggler will be with us tonight as Ziggler plans on calling out the 'Duke of Delish'.
- Baron Corbin has had an adversary for weeks in the mysterious, demented Leo Kruger. Kruger has stated that he wants to snap the undefeated streak of the 'Enigma', and tonight that could happen. Or will Baron add Leo to his growing list of defeated NXT Superstars? Tonight, these two behemoths will battle in a clash of the titans.
- With the Legionnaires having found a new member of their alliance, Kalisto and Sin Cara tonight will team up again in tag team action against Aiden English and the newest addition, Simon Gotch, as the luchadores continue to seek redemption on the faction led by Sylvester Lefort.
- With Enzo Amore soon due to be cleared for action, the loudmouth from New Jersey will be paying a trip to his hairdressers for a makeover - and as always, his buddy Colin Cassady will be there to film the action!
Following the opening WWE signature, the opening video package aired for NXT, showcasing the ensemble of stars in NXT today - among them being Bo Dallas, Sami Zayn, the Ascension, Emma, Corey Graves, Adrian Neville and Paige. We cut to the NXT Arena in Full Sail University for this week's edition, as Renee Young, Byron Saxton and Jason Albert introduces us to the show, talking up the big fatal four-way number one contender's match to determine the next top contender to Emma's NXT Women's Championship. Meanwhile, the theme of Kalisto and Sin Cara was playing in the arena, as the NXT Universe were already chanting 'LU-CHA!' preparing for their high-flying battle tonight.(00:01)
KALISTO & SIN CARA def. AIDEN ENGLISH & SIMON GOTCH - As the two Mexican sensations continue to compete with the Legionnaires led by Sylvester Lefort backed by Alexander Rusev and Aiden English, things took a turn two weeks ago on NXT when the Legionnaires were joined by a new member from the Performance Center, known as Simon Gotch. The mustached, muscle-donning Gotch started off with Kalisto, and despite some early fast-paced interactions in which Gotch was on the receiving end of early on, Gotch managed to catch a tornado DDT attempting 'King of Flight', and caught him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, as Gotch and Aiden English then went to town on Kalisto as Sylvester Lefort directed traffic at ringside. English and Gotch made quick tags and managed to ground the typically energetic Kalisto, as English and Gotch caught Kalisto with a gutwrench backbreaker double-team maneuver; English and Gotch working well as members of the Legionnaires. There was no sign of Alexander Rusev however, as English and Gotch further set up for the ending: but luckily, Kalisto got the hot tag to Sin Cara, and the WWE Superstar came in rushing house with English and Gotch, even connecting with a springboard hurricanrana into a hurricanrana headscissors from Kalisto sending English out of the ring. A hot plancha followed suit from Kalisto, with a springboard from the second rope into a somersault onto English on the outside - leaving it to Gotch and Cara in the ring. Gotch tried to nail Cara with what is known as the Gentleman's Slam, but Cara managed to slip out: but Sin Cara hit an awesome reverse hurricanrana stunning Gotch and leaving him out on the canvas. Sin Cara then went up and hit the Senton Bomb, Cara covering and Kalisto preventing Sylvester Lefort from interfering, giving the luchadores the win in 6:28! **1/4
"What a win for the luchadores!" commented Jason Albert, as the NXT Universe cheered as Kalisto joined Sin Cara to celebrate in the ring - the two Mexicans having finally gotten one over on the Legionnaires. Suddenly, Sylvester Lefort backed to the rampway and summoned Alexander Rusev, and out came the 'Bulgarian Brute'! "Oh no, not again" gasped Renee Young as Rusev stomped down the rampway, a mean look on his face. Lefort tapped him on the shoulder and whispered something to him - and whilst Kalisto and Sin Cara's backs were turned, Simon Gotch and Aiden English came from behind, attacking Kalisto and Cara! "Once again this is happening - Kalisto and Sin Cara just can't seemed to get the Legionnaires off their back!" noted Byron Saxton, as Gotch and English stomped on their respective lucha victim, as Rusev marched into the ring to loud boos. Rusev shouted "THIS. MUST. END!" before suddenly locking in the Accolade on Sin Cara to loud boos, as Sylvester Lefort stood on the steel steps, behind the sunglasses grinning at this taking place. "Where does this end?" asked Renee rhetorically, as the Legionnaires were stood tall once again over Kalisto and Sin Cara. (00:11)
An advertisement aired, promoting WWE Extreme Rules, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, May 4.
We returned to NXT as the broadcast team again began to talk about the fatal four-way main event ahead of us. "But before we get to that, let's take a quick look at what brought the current champion Emma, to the NXT Women's Championship" narrated Byron Saxton, as a video package then began to play. "All my life I've been waiting to get to this point, where I can be on top of a pedestal for all women to look up at me", she spoke as video footage showed her first few appearances in NXT, dancing down to the ring and bursting bubbles during her entrances. "It's taken so long for me to get here, time and time again something was taken away", she continued as footage of her on the receiving end of beatdowns from Summer Rae and Sasha Banks played. "And then I reached the finals of the tournament to determine a first ever NXT Women's Champion. And I got so close." the visual showed highlights of her match with Paige, before falling in defeat at the end.
"But not close enough. And that was when I was there, as her friend. And I was a sidekick. But I became much more than that. And I do thank her for that". Fast-forward to NXT ArRIVAL, where Emma won the title by defeating Summer Rae and Paige. "That night changed everything. I beat the person I despised the most. But I also lost a friend. But I got what I wanted. And I am now at that pedestal". It showed her celebrating as the NXT Women's Champion, before cutting to her fallouts with Paige and the rematch - before going on to being the fighting champion she is. "I will take on anybody that wants to get it on with me. I am at the top of the NXT Divas division - and we have the best talent in the world. But know this - anybody that steps in the ring with me? You're going to have to take my livelihood to take this title from around my waist". (00:14)
Then, in a part of the backstage area we saw Paige, the 'Anti-Diva' listening to music in her earphones, stretching out in the women's locker room by herself, as Paige was visibly getting motivated for tonight's main event. "Paige has so much riding on this tonight - she threw everything away over that NXT Women's Championship when she lost it - and she held it for eight months. And tonight, she wants security that she will be going to NXT Unleashed to face former friend Emma again, and hold the Women's title for a second time" commented Renee Young. (00:15)
Suddenly, we cut to the backstage area where Devin Taylor was standing by with the Legionnaires, who walked in quite hastily. Sylvester Lefort immediately cut Taylor off, as Simon Gotch, Aiden English and Alexander Rusev seemed peeved. "Enough! I've had enough of this. My guys deserve so much more in NXT!" he exclaimed. "This has to end, I'm tellin' ya!" he ousted. Aiden English took over, stating "Tonight, Kalisto and Sin Cara may have won. But they have been a thorn in our side for far too long. And it needs to stop right now". English went to regain his composure as Simon Gotch took the microphone for the first time in his NXT career. "I came to NXT to not play around with children in pajama pants, I came to be a gentile human being and fight the goodwill for the Legionnaires! Where is our success? It's being whittled away by those two muppets" he spoke, as Alexander Rusev snarled into the microphone next. "I want to crush. Both of them will perish at my feet". The Legionnaires continued to be fuming, as Lefort concluded taking the microphone and shooing away Devin. "Next week, this stops. Next week, it's all three of my Legionnaires...and you two. Find somebody that actually likes you, and all three or two of you will face English, Rusev and Gotch. And then, we will see who the better team is in NXT", He wrapped up. The three Legionnaires then stormed off led behind Rusev, as Taylor seemed intimidated by all of this. (00:17)
- NEXT WEEK: After over a month of being a persistent thorn in the Legionnaires' side, Sylvester Lefort has laid down the challenge, and next week Sin Cara, Kalisto and a partner of their choice will take on Alexander Rusev, Aiden English and Simon Gotch to see who the better team is, once and for all.
NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE ASCENSION def. BRANDON GROOM & SEAN WELSH - After being victorious a few weeks ago in their open challenge defending the NXT Tag Team Championships against former World Tag Team Champions in Too Cool, Konnor and Viktor were back to dominating the competition as their opponents tonight were definitely not a caliber of Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay - but rather Brandon Groom from Oklahoma and Sean Welsh, a local Floridian working on the independent circuit. Konnor and Viktor made very quick work of Groom and Welsh however, clearing the ring of Welsh and giving Groom the Fall of Man for a very fast victory in 1:06. n/a
The NXT Universe booed as Konnor and Viktor perched on one another in the centre of the ring, the NXT Tag Team Championships in hand. Konnor soon snatched the microphone from ring announcer Eden Stiles, as Konnor declared among the boos: "We've been watching. And we don't like what we see". Konnor then handed the microphone to Viktor, who was pacing now. "We have seen you coming for a while, and let us tell you before you even dare to make a move on us: we will hunt you before you have any single idea".
The Ascension then picked Sean Welsh up from the corner of the ring and dropped him with the Fall of Men, as the NXT Tag Team Champions began to leave. "Who do you think they were talking about?" asked Byron Saxton, to which Jason Albert responded, "I don't think anybody knows, but we're going to - because these two scary men Konnor and Viktor have a world of hurt ready to unleash on whoever comes into their path". (00:20)
Suddenly, we cut to the office of new NXT General Manager William Regal, as the newly assigned GM of NXT was shown stood in front of a deck chair and a school-like desk. "I know what you're thinking, doesn't my new furniture look nice?" he grinned as the camera shifted to show the room otherwise empty besides an NXT logo framed on the wall behind him. "It's going to be good as a placeholder, but that's not what I wanted to say. As you know, NXT Unleashed is live on the WWE Network next month, on May 28th. But you may also know, we don't currently have a number one contender to the NXT Heavyweight Championship. So...this is how we're going to sort this out. Next week, every member of the NXT roster will take part in an over the top rope battle royal - and the winner will go on to face Bo Dallas for the title on May 28th. So I tell my roster - grab that brass ring, and make every opportunity count!" he smiled, as the NXT Universe cheered from the NXT Arena. "What an announcement, I think William's doing a great job so far!" exclaimed Jason Albert. "He does need some new furniture, though", added Byron Saxton comically.
(00:21)
- NEXT WEEK: Every member of the NXT roster has a big chance a head of them, as they will all compete in an over the top rope battle royal - with the winner going to the main event of NXT Unleashed next month to face the NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas with the gold on the line!
BARON CORBIN def. LEO KRUGER - With Leo Kruger out to take a hit and end the undefeated streak of the young Baron Corbin, the 'Enigma' had to come prepared tonight, especially after he was assaulted on the rampway last week at the hands of the eerie South African. Kruger like usual crawled down to the ring to boos, whereas Baron marched to the ring with the NXT Universe behind him with optimism that the rookie would be able to pick up the win against this more experience adversary. "Tonight could make or break Baron, this should be his most competitive match to date in his career" noted Renee Young, as Baron and Leo stared off in the ring, and then suddenly came to blows to loud cheers. Kruger raked the eyes of Corbin before delivering several stiff right hands, as the 'Master of Dark' then attempted to go for the Kruger's End just for Baron to block it and connect with the clothesline instead for two! Corbin then decided to actually go to the top rope - just to get crotched by Kruger. Leo then used his impressive strength to pick the 'Enigma' off of the top rope and he connected with the spinebuster! Baron was down and hurting, but he still kicked out at two. Corbin was down as Kruger once again attempted to go for the neckbreaker - but Baron blocked it again, picking Leo up and swiftly dropping him face first with the End of Days! Baron hooked the legs, and that was all in 4:22! *1/4
The crowd cheered as Baron Corbin's hand was raised in victory, the 'Enigma' celebrating his win whilst Leo Kruger remained down in the middle of the ring. Kruger appeared to be clutching his forehead, not knowing where he was as Baron began to leave. "The streak lives! And Baron Corbin has made incredibly short work of Leo Kruger tonight!" exclaimed Jason Albert. "I didn't expect it, but Baron ran straight through Leo tonight, and Kruger doesn't seem to know where he is!" added Renee Young, whilst referee Danilo Anfibio aided to Leo, who still seemed dazed by everything. "Where am I?" he was heard speaking out of confusion.
(00:28)
We cut to the backstage corridor where now the BFFs were shown talking to one another, although there was no audio. Summer Rae appeared agitated with Sasha Banks and Charlotte, as Byron Saxton chimed in stating "And now there's the other three Divas competing in our main event tonight...it seems like they're having problems! Could we see the BFFs blow up tonight?"
(00:28)
All of a sudden we went to a handheld phone shot of Colin Cassady, who was shown sitting down in what appeared to be a waiting area of a shop, the window behind him showing people walking up and down the street. "Hey yo, this is Big Cass, and we're at our friend Carmella's. Why? Because Enzo's getting his bangs cut. Ya hear?" he turned the camera to show Enzo Amore in a barber's chair covered in a leopard print sheet besides a tall woman with long, curled brown hair as Enzo addressed the camera. "Hey yo, I'm getting a trim by my girl Carmella--" he started, but was cut off by Carmella asking "Uhm, who's girl?" Enzo retorted saying "You. You're a girl...Anyway, I'm getting my hair cut because next week I've got a hot interview with Michael Cole addressing just how SAWFT I'm not, and why I'm gonna kick some ass when I get back in that ring in a few weeks time. Ya see I'm a fly guy, and I've been training real hard to get back in that ring - and I know a lot now". Big Cass suddenly chimed in, "You're gonna be the next Bret Hart ain't ya 'Zo". "How ya doin". "The next Randy Savage". "How you doin". "The next Salvatore Sincere". "Woah woah woah, that ain't cool".
The phone then cut to Carmella showing Enzo his hair in the mirror - the sides of his head shaved short but with leopard prints dyed in - the top of his hair hanging down over his shoulders like a mullet, jet black. "How dya like that, Enzo?" she asked, as Enzo felt the sides of his hair and grinned, "I love it!" he shouted. "I look like the Fonz crossed with a leopard, and I'm gonna pounce all over the universe!" he yelled, jumping out of his seat. Carmella walked over to the cash register as Enzo continued to express his joy over the do, "I'm gonna be the King of the Cuts down in Orlando! Thanks babe, it means a lot!". Cass meanwhile chimed in saying "Lookin' good, 'Zo". "That'll be $75.95, Enzo", instructed Carmella, causing Enzo to freak out asking "Seventy-five smackers!? I thought you were gonna do this for free!" he yelled, as Carmella said in response "No, you asked if you could pay in kisses, but I find you gross, so that was obviously not gonna happen, Enzo. I got a business to run". Cass turned the camera back to himself, wrinkling his forehead in humor as Enzo and Carmella argued in the background.
(00:30)
- NEXT WEEK: Just weeks before he is cleared to compete, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady will be Michael Cole's guests for an NXT exclusive interview about the charismatic New Jersey native's return!
We returned to the NXT Arena as the theme of Dolph Ziggler began to play igniting loud cheers from the Full Sail fans, as Byron Saxton bellowed out "Here comes the 'Show Off', and you can imagine that he's in the mood to duke it out with a certain 'Prince Pretty'!". With that, the 'Show Off' braced the stage, waving to the fans and walking down to the ring dressed in a hoody and black jeans, Ziggler approaching the ring as Jason Albert relayed the past couple of weeks, stating "For some reason, Tyler Breeze has been singling out the WWE Superstar - and I don't know about you guys, but I see the parallel here. Breeze is jealous because he believes he is better than Dolph". Renee resumed, as she continued, "A lot of jealousy there, but also a lot of passion - and I think Tyler may have bitten off more than he can chew, we may see that from Dolph right now". The NXT Universe chanted for Ziggler as he awaited silence, Dolph with the microphone in his hand. "I wish I could be here on better terms, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles. I am here in NXT not just to steal the show. That's right, for a change Dolph Ziggler isn't here to steal the show. Not only am I here for you awesome, passionate fans. No no, you heard that right. I am here because I have beef with one person in the back, and that person in the back needs to come out here right now and find out what it's like to get on the wrong side of me, Dolph Ziggler!" he energetically spoke, Ziggler blowing off the handle already tonight in the NXT Arena! Ziggler was pacing back and forth, and as he waited, he suddenly heard the voice of Tyler, but no sign of him physically. "Dolph Ziggler. Why so glum, old chum?" his voice was heard, when suddenly his image appeared on the big screen on the stage, Tyler on the Selfie screen via iPhone, as Breeze resumed walking around the backstage corridors talking at his phone - and understandably Dolph was ticked. "I've noticed you, you know, throughout your career, I've seen what you do. And I don't desire to be anything like you. And let me tell you why - because unlike you, my bleach blonde haired, handsome companion, I am here to make a name for myself without blowing my big chance by getting injured. I watched you ascend through the ranks. I watched you make your way through the WWE, and finally one day you became the World Heavyweight Champion. Quite the accomplishment, no?", Tyler smirked as the crowd 'oooh'd at his jabs towards Dolph. Suddenly he appeared on the rampway, still looking into his iPhone and now holding a microphone despite Dolph being in the ring in front of him. "I watched you become World Heavyweight Champion, and then I saw you got injured, and all of a sudden you were right back where you started. And you know why that is, Mr Ziggler? Because Tyler Breeze has arrived, and he's healthier, he's more handsome, he's more athletic, and he is definitely superior than you", he smiled, as he then put down his iPhone actually taking a glance at a fired up Ziggler in the ring. Tyler stopped on the ramp, a big grin on his face as he knew he had Dolph where he wanted him. "This is a strange Tyler Breeze that we haven't seen in some time" noted Byron, as Dolph leaned over the ropes with the microphone in hand. "I will give you that. Tyler, I see a lot of myself in you, and I can accept that I'm older than you, I got hurt at what could have been the greatest time of my life - what should have been the greatest time of my life. But there is one thing that separates you and I, and that is that I am better than you, Tyler, and if you had the guts to do what I would do in your shoes, I would prove it to you right now!" passionately spoke the wiser, more experienced former World Heavyweight Champion to loud cheers, to which Breeze looked around, seemingly getting a little angrier. Suddenly however, he regained his composure. "Haha, I see your plan. Reverse psychology. I like it, it's smart", Breeze spoke, smiling and laughing off and almost visibly taking a mental note. "See, Ziggler, you think you're so hot and attractive, and you think you're on a level above me, so you can have that. You wouldn't want to fight a man of my caliber. You're above me. That's fine", he retreated, as he began to head back up the rampway much to the chagrin of Dolph. "You go nowhere.", Dolph simply spoke to cheers, noting Tyler now using reverse psychology. "You're under the impression that we are the same person. But Tyler, if I wanted an iPhone it would strictly to be to break over your head!" he spoke eliciting loud applause from Ziggler, and Tyler was now getting more and more angry. "Dolph knows Tyler's weak spot, he's getting him worked up!" mentioned Renee, as Breeze then swiftly put down the microphone and began to leave...before he did a U-turn and rushed for the ring! But Ziggler was one step ahead, as he came out of the ring, meeting Tyler at ringside as the two traded blows among the loud reaction from the Full Sail crowd! "He couldn't resist!" shouted Albert about Breeze, as Tyler tried to send Dolph into the steel steps just for Dolph to reverse and 'Prince Pretty' went down into the steps. Ziggler then picked Tyler up and rolled him inside of the ring where Dolph was fast behind him. Tyler then suddenly attempted the Supermodel Kick, but Dolph ducked it and attempted the Zig-Zag just for Breeze to quickly roll out of the ring, escaping to loud boos! "I'm better than you, Dolph!" Breeze visibly shouted, as Dolph tried to bring Tyler back into the ring, but instead Breeze picked up his iPhone screen and headed to the backstage area to loud boos, whilst Ziggler's music played and he applauded for the NXT fans! "Dolph Ziggler got his revenge, but he didn't get all of it...but soon enough he will, and Tyler Breeze will realize that karma always comes back to bite you!" explained Saxton as Ziggler continued to pander to the crowd. (00:38)

#Divas4Way
NUMBER ONE CONTENDER'S - FATAL 4-WAY MATCH SASHA BANKS vs SUMMER RAE vs PAIGE vs CHARLOTTE Emma was shown watching via a monitor, and the NXT Women's Champion had a right to be watching - the winner of this match would be coming for her to challenge for the title she earned in five weeks time at NXT Unleashed on May 29. Coincidentally, the 'Anti-Diva' Paige made her way down to the ring first, as the Raven-haired lady screamed to the heavens from the ring apron, a war cry about to go into this match. "Paige is in a dangerous position tonight. It could go her way and she could get that rematch with Emma she has longed for for so long, or she could fall in defeat at the hands of her three adversaries from the BFFs" examined Byron Saxton, as he was right - Paige had changed since losing the NXT Women's Championship at NXT ArRIVAL, and she was outnumbered tonight in this outing.
Out next came 'The Bo$$' Sasha Banks, who strutted to the ring wearing her Kanye West-esque sunglasses, spouting confidence. "Call me crazy here, guys. But I think Sasha Banks may be the dark horse to win this match. She's young, she's shown so much potential. And she has more experience than Summer Rae or Charlotte - maybe she could take it to Paige tonight. It all depends on where the BFFs' alliance goes. Only one Diva can win this match!" spoke Jason Albert. Up next came Charlotte, who received some 'woos' from the NXT Universe due to her being the daughter of 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair. Charlotte paid homage to her father by strutting down the rampway, eliciting Renee Young to play off her background. "She calls herself the 'Genetically Superior Diva', and that could be a very true statement: Charlotte has this business in her blood. The daughter of a sixteen time World Champion in Ric Flair, tonight could be her breakout night!".
Out lastly came Summer Rae, who casually walked down the rampway to boos - but suddenly she stopped and smiled, pointing at Paige. With that, Sasha Banks and Charlotte turned from Summer's direction to Paige - jumpstarting this match! Sasha and Charlotte closed in on Paige, and the 'Anti-Diva' with the NXT Universe behind her gave Charlotte a big forearm before tackling Sasha as the bell sounded! Paige laid into Sasha with some attempted right hands, but Charlotte then got back into the action and slammed Paige backwards down onto the canvas! Charlotte laid the boots to Paige as Sasha joined in whilst Summer climbed into the ring, Paige already down and out on the ring apron as the BFFs posed in the centre of the ring eliciting boos from the NXT Universe! "Well, I guess we should have seen this coming" acknowledged Young, as Summer began to direct traffic - Sasha picking Paige up by the hair and dragging her into the ring, slapping Paige across the face before Charlotte followed up with a Ric Flair-like chop: but Paige fired back with a knife-edged chop of her own; Paige then blocking a kick to the gut from Summer, the Norwich girl tripping her longest-running nemesis up and bridging with a cover attempt just for Charlotte to break it up before one!
The 'Flair of NXT' picked Paige up and delivered a backbreaker to her, as Sasha Banks followed up with an elbow drop - Summer following up yet again by pulling on the hair and slamming her head first against the canvas! The BFFs were dominant again, as Emma was shown watching on with a look of concern on her face. "Paige is in trouble, and you can just about tell Emma is conflicted. What is going through her mind?" pondered Albert, as back in the NXT Arena, Paige was given a double flapjack by Sasha and Charlotte, Summer then covering...but Charlotte and Sasha dragged her off! Summer looked on in shock, as the NXT Universe were shocked! Summer tried to yell at Sasha and Charlotte, as Byron butted in, "This is what we thought was gonna happen...there can only be one winner!" Summer suddenly tried to give an unsuspecting Charlotte a spinning heel kick, but Sasha cut her off, connecting with a Japanese armdrag, and Charlotte followed up with a swinging neckbreaker before Sasha and Charlotte dropkicked Summer out of the ring! "The leader is out!" exploded Albert, and that's when Sasha and Charlotte turned around to reverse a dropkick from Paige sending Sasha out of the ring! Charlotte remained inside as Paige was getting back in the ring, the 'Genetically Supreme Diva' attempting a clothesline, but Paige ducked it and nailed Charlotte with a short-arm clothesline sending her over the top rope, Paige knocking her off the apron with a big kick to the gut, all three members of the crumbling BFFs at ringside - and Paige went up to the top rope and came off with a big crossbody onto all three opponents!
The NXT Universe chanted Paige's name, as the 'Anti-Diva' then picked up her nemesis Summer Rae and dragged her inside, Paige then climbing inside and connecting with a snap suplex, Paige covering just for Summer to kick out at two. "This is a story of the two original NXT Divas - Summer Rae attacked Paige and outed her for her alternative looks back in January 2013...the war has been on ever since" analyzed Renee Young, as Paige followed up, attempting the Paige Turner just for Charlotte to slip into the ring, an axe handle to the back of the 'Anti-Diva'. Charlotte and Summer went back to work with the double suplex - again Summer attempted the cover, just for Charlotte to pick her off. "Tensions are high, but teamwork still persists" noted Byron, as Summer tried to talk down to Charlotte, and this forced Charlotte to trip Summer up and lock in the Figure-Four Leglock to loud cheers - Charlotte refusing to let loose of the hold, but Sasha Banks slipped into the ring, applying some sort of dragon sleeper! The NXT fans were cheering, and this allowed Paige to gain momentum and quickly break it up with a passionate splash onto Charlotte, Summer and Sasha.
Paige picked Charlotte up and attempted a unique back-hand, but Charlotte ducked it and flipped over the top rope onto the apron, Charlotte distracting Paige and thus setting Sasha Banks up to hit Paige with the Bankrupt! 'The Bo$$' attempted to follow up with the Bank Statement, but Charlotte broke it up with a flipping senton over the top rope onto the back of Paige! "It's setting in now just how important this is to these Divas" exemplified Albert, and with that Charlotte picked Sasha Banks up and nailed her with a backpack stunner - Charlotte going for the cover but Summer Rae got back involved, rolling the Charlotte native up for two - Summer then covering Sasha frantically for two! Charlotte was now angry with Summer, as she picked Summer up and sent her into the corner just to get caught with a high boot from the 'First Lady of NXT'. Summer cornered Charlotte and nailed her with repeated slaps, then stretching widely her legs and extending it into the throat of Charlotte in the corner! This allowed Paige however to come from behind with a roll-up, but Sasha Banks this time broke it up, Sasha following up with a high knee nailing Charlotte in the jaw in the corner - Banks with the wheelbarrow bulldog on Paige next, covering just for two.
"The fans are picking up on how competitive this match is getting - it's crazy! We expected a three-on-one beatdown, and just like that all four of these Divas have realized what this match means to them" commented Byron Saxton, the fans now split between Charlotte and Paige. Summer Rae tried to go for the Summer Crush on Sasha now, but Banks blocked it, connecting with another Bankrupt on the leader of the BFFs - when suddenly Charlotte came from behind with the Natural Selection on Banks! The fans were now behind Charlotte, when all of a sudden her and Paige came face to face, the two Divas meeting face to face, as Charlotte charged Paige, just for Paige to sidestep and cradle Charlotte up from behind, but Charlotte reversed, then attempted the Figure-Four Leglock again on the 'Anti-Diva', just for Paige to block it and trip Charlotte up: the 'Anti-Diva' then going for the Scorpion Crosslock on Charlotte - Paige going to hook the arms just for Sasha Banks to approach Paige, just for Paige to get out of the hold, side-step Sasha and connect with the Paige Turner! The 'Anti-Diva' covered Sasha, but Summer rushed in and attempted the Summer Crush on Paige, but Paige broke free and hit Summer with the Paige Turner! The 'Anti-Diva' had the fans roaring for her to get the win, as she hooked the legs when suddenly Charlotte came out of nowhere with the Natural Selection on Paige sending her flying out of the ring, Charlotte covering Summer Rae, and that was it in 9:44! "She's done it!"
WINNER, AND NUMBER ONE CONTENDER: CHARLOTTE (**1/4)
"We've got a new number one contender to the NXT Women's title!" exclaimed Albert, as Charlotte's eyes began to fluster, her eyes watering and her hand being risen by referee Drake Wuertz! Charlotte got to her feet as Sasha Banks rolled around on the canvas in frustration, the 'Flair of NXT' now with a huge opportunity to win the NXT Women's Championship from Emma next month at NXT Unleashed! Summer Rae rolled to the floor meanwhile, as Emma suddenly appeared on the rampway, the NXT Women's Champion staring down Charlotte. "And there's the woman she will meet next month, the woman who chased that title for so long and had her dream come true...but can she get it done against the Diva who is now the number one contender?" asked Renee, as Charlotte stared her down from the ring...
All of a sudden Paige stormed the ring, connecting with a big kick to the chest with her Doc Marten boot, the 'Anti-Diva' receiving some boos for it, as Paige then stomped away at Charlotte and then Sasha Banks as well! Paige was throwing a tantrum, hot after coming so close to getting what she wanted, as Byron described it "Such an emotional rollercoaster from Paige, you have to wonder what is going through her mind". Paige was losing it, pulling on her hair before rolling out of the ring and kicking the ring steps. Then, Paige power walked up to Emma who stood motionless on the rampway - the 'Anti-Diva' glaring at the NXT Women's Championship on her shoulder - then up towards her ex-best friend Emma. "I quit!" she screamed at Emma, as suddenly Paige stormed back up the ramp past Emma whilst the 'Dancing Queen' didn't know what to make of this! "Paige...quit!?" asked Albert, as Emma looked confused yet startled, NXT going off the air with turmoil in the air!

Ok. NXT time. Bear in mind, this will be in bullet point form. I had a really long reply written out, but my phone ed up and it got deleted. - Nice opener. The right team won in my eyes, and I look forward to seeing where the feud between the Dragons and LeFort's guys goes. - Emma's interview was fun to read. Having her as a champion is interesting, but I dig it. - The squash match built The Ascension up as an even bigger force to be reckoned with, and made them look dominant. - Battle Royal? Sweet. It'll be interesting to see how you go about writing that. - Corbin vs Kruger was kind of surprising, I must say. I didn't expect Corbin to win at all, but I'm a big Corbin fan so that sits well with me. Although, I feel like that might have hurt Leo in the future. - Haha. That Enzo promo gave me a chuckle, not just because it was funny, but because I could see it happening. - Really enjoyed the Breeze stuff. You got his characteristics and mannerisms down just right. Also really looking forward to seeing where this feud goes, because Breeze vs Ziggler is great booking. - Main event time. I really liked the writes up for this match. You used all the ladies well, and overall I'm pleased with the winner. Paige's bitch-fit was a nice touch, too. This was a really good episode, man. You built up the stories you've got going on well and there were some good matches too. Can't wait to see what happens at Unleashed.

Don't recall the last time I read this or feedback so I do apologise. Crazy start of the year for me!
Still a big fan if the look of this plus the amount of work you put into this. A little like AJ you go into a lot of detail you probably write more for a 1 hour show than some do for a 2/3 show.
Tonight was a good show, enjoyed the tag match big fan of Kalisto. Baron has that superstar aura about him while Kruger has more upside than Rose. Funny Amore skit. Not the biggest fan of using Dolph if being completely honest but he and Breeze would have some decent matches and tonight's segment worked.
Liked the angle with Paige to close the show is this the start of something or is that Paige done we'll have to wait and see.
Look forward to next week battle royals are a guilty pleasure of mine.

NXT News of the Week (April 24 - May 1, 2014)
- It appears that Paige's tenure in NXT has now completed, and she has officially graduated to the main roster full-time. Paige previously was working Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturday and Sundays on the main roster whilst also working Thursdays multiple times when NXT was taping. It is believed that last night was her send-off, as she is no longer listed as a part of the NXT roster on WWE.com. (April 25, 2014)
- WWE held its usual 'Spring Cleaning' day today. To coincide with the WWE talents let go, NXT lost several talents as well including Camacho, Kendall Skye, Sarah Backman and Marcus Louie. Camacho hasn't been used since his partner Hunico donned the mask of Sin Cara last January. Kendall Skye never appeared on NXT television, and neither did Sarah Backman - however both did appear in Stephanie McMahon's fitness DVD recently released. Another note is Backman is dating NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas, making this peculiar. Lastly, Marcus Louie has appeared a few times on television, but it seems NXT trainers weren't very high on his abilities or his look. (April 30, 2014)
- The dark match prior to the taping of last week's NXT episode featured Cal Bishop defeating fellow Performance Center trainee Troy McClain. McClain was over with his heelish spokesperson gimmick from all reports received. Bishop meanwhile used some sort of stoner gimmick and was cheered for it. Bishop got the win in under five minutes after the brainbuster. The match was set up after Cal interrupted Troy's promo advertising fatty foods for the "unhealthy" fans in attendance. (April 27, 2014)
- Triple H held a meeting with all members of the NXT brand tonight basically to outline the plans for NXT Unleashed next month. It was also an extended pep talk for the personnel ahead of the night's taping at Full Sail University. (April 24, 2014)
- After May's NXT Unleashed, WWE officials are planning on putting on at least two more live special ahead of the end of the year. (April 25, 2014)
- Tyson Kidd and Dolph Ziggler are being used often on NXT to help establish the brand and also to keep themselves busy. Kidd has not appeared on the main roster since his injury back in 2012, whereas Ziggler realized that he has been losing a lot lately and has decided to try giving a run on NXT full-time a try in order to establish himself as well as the NXT brand. NXTatas. Kalisto and Sin Cara start things off hot and pull off the victory against Aiden English and Simon Gotch. Rusev ain't happy, though, and he's beating the crap out of the yet-to-be-named Lucha Dragons. This must end, Rusev, yes, but when? Good promo from Emma, I don't see her losing the title too quickly. We get The Ascension with an easy win over Brandon Groom and Sean Welsh. Who? Yeah exactly. Who are they talking about? Damn good question, brah! Big announcement from William Regal in regards to the battle royal next week, looking forward to it. Baron Corbin has a lengthy match with Leo Kruger (for him) but he had to win this one being the new breed/face of weirdo in NXT... if you want to call it that. Where am I? You're on the exotic express, Kruger! Yeah Enzo, you gonn' be the next Bret Hart! Randy Savage! Carmella, bada bing - hottest chick in da room! HOW YOU DOIN'? Ready to see them back. Good stuff from Dolph Ziggler and (gag) Tyler Breeze here, promoting their feud that will likely come to a head at Unleashed. I don't see where else it would, der. We get a crazy main event with four very talented women and Charlotte is the one who walks out the winner and, out of all of them, I think she is the likely one to win the belt away from Emma - at this point, anyway. And, what? Paige quits? Is this her going away for good to the main roster or...? We'll see. Good stuff as usual, Dan.

#RAW MONDAY NIGHT RAW - Monday 28th April 2014 - St Louis, MO (#1092) LIVE on the USA Network!
ALEXANDER RUSEV def. R-TRUTH - After being ran off by the Big Show last Friday night on SmackDown and with the pro-Russian 'Bulgarian Brute's big battle with the Big Show coming up at Extreme Rules on Sunday night, Alexander Rusev was in no mood for R-Truth's antics, as Truth rapped his way to the ring just for Rusev to make short work of the rapper. Rusev made short work of R-Truth, pounding away at him and even screaming in Bulgarian at him at one point. R-Truth attempted to make a comeback, but Rusev blocked it with the superkick, which was followed with the Accolade giving the newcomer another win going into Sunday in 3:18. n/a
The 'Bulgarian Brute' refused to release the hold after the bell, continuing to apply pressure on R-Truth with the Accolade until the theme of the Big Show hit triggering the arrival of the 'World's Largest Athlete' to loud applause. Show braced the rampway and smiled, telling Rusev that he didn't need to worry about it, because on Sunday he was going to knock him all the way back to Bulgaria, or Russia - whichever he preferred. Show told Rusev that he may have been dominant over the last few weeks - but that he would be an afterthought after Extreme Rules. Rusev growled from the ring in response, brewing his temper further.
DIVAS CHAMPION AJ LEE def. EMMA - Unofficially this was a champion vs champion match, as Emma is the reigning (and unacknowledged) NXT Women's Champion - but tonight AJ Lee made quick work of Emma, blocking off her offense with her unorthodox offense. Lee used kicks to take down Emma, and to boos mocked Paige's scream when wandering and skipping around the ring. AJ Lee continued with her offense, soonafter putting Emma away with the Black Widow forcing her to submission in 2:22. n/a
After the bell, AJ Lee took the microphone as she posed with the Divas Championship much to the hatred of the WWE Universe. AJ addressed Sunday being Extreme Rules, before telling the WWE Universe that despite everybody wanting Paige to challenge her for the Divas Championship - she had not proven herself and was being denied a match. However what she would do was make Paige face Tamina Snuka at Extreme Rules instead, with the winner getting the opportunity to challenge her for the title. AJ smiled smugly as she skipped on her way to the backstage area.
- EXTREME RULES, MAY 4: With AJ Lee publicly refusing to defend the Divas Championship this Sunday, instead she is allowing top contenders Paige and Tamina Snuka to go at it at Extreme Rules instead - with the winner getting the opportunity to challenge for her title down the line.
#MainEvent WWE MAIN EVENT - Tuesday 29th April 2014 - Kansas City, MO (#83) LIVE on the WWE Network!
TAMINA SNUKA def. EMMA - In preparation for Sunday's number one contender's match, Tamina Snuka took on Emma in singles action tonight on Main Event. Tamina, who recently separated from AJ Lee and challenged her unsuccessfully for the Divas Championship, was looking mean and focused in this one, and despite Emma's best efforts, the Australian 'Dancing Queen' fell to Tamina with her power moves - and Snuka would eventually get the win with the Superfly Splash in 4:13. *
The WWE Universe seemed impressed by the blossoming of Tamina Snuka, as the Main Event announce team talked up how AJ Lee no longer has a friend in the Divas division - including former bodyguard Tamina. Snuka looked fearsome as she growled after the match, motivated for her match this Sunday with Paige.
#SmackDown FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN - Friday 2nd May 2014 - Kansas City, MO (#767) Taped: Tuesday 29th April 2014 - Broadcast on the SyFy Network
PAIGE def. ROSA MENDES - With her match with Tamina Snuka coming up on Sunday at Extreme Rules, the 'Anti-Diva' Paige was motivated aiming to gain contention to the Divas Championship held by recent rival AJ Lee - who she came close to beating in her debut last month. Meanwhile after an extended sabbatical, Rosa was back tonight on SmackDown to try and hold her own in action with the newcomer, but unfortunately it did not last as Paige nailed Rosa with the Paige Turner to pick up the victory in 2:02. 1/2*
The 'Anti-Diva' celebrated her win as Rosa Mendes remained down in the ring, when suddenly Tamina Snunka crept up behind Paige and dropped her with a big Samoan shuffle kick to the chest! Snuka stood tall over her Extreme Rules opponent to boos - the two set to meet Sunday to determine the number one contender to AJ Lee's Divas Championship. Speaking of AJ, she was shown watching from the backstage area with a big, evil smile on her face.
THE BIG SHOW def. 3MB - Whilst Alexander Rusev awaits on Sunday at Extreme Rules, the Big Show was scheduled to go up against Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal of 3MB - just two days before 3MB's own Hornswoggle goes up against El Torito in WeeLC on the Extreme Rules Kickoff show. Show decimated both men, clearing house of them before putting Jinder Mahal away with the WMD for the easy win in 1:03. n/a
In the backstage area, Los Matadores and El Torito were shown laughing as the Big Show celebrated standing tall over the fallen Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater. Drew McIntyre then unwisely decided to blind-sight Big Show, but the 'World's Largest Athlete' laid McIntyre out with a big WMD for his troubles, too! Show roared when suddenly Alexander Rusev this time snuck up behind Show and laid him out with the big jumping superkick! The 'Bulgarian Brute' grumbled in his Bulgarian tongue before going to apply the Accolade...but Show shook Rusev off, the Russian advocate unable to lock in the Accolade! Rusev bailed however, and Show was furious. He yelled at Rusev aloud, stating "You're getting knocked out Sunday, pal".

Elliot has really outdone himself with the graphics. Wonderful job. I haven't been keeping up with your diary (or NXT irl), but I like the booking. Neville being pushed is good and Bo Dallas as champ is pretty awesome.
NXT April 24 - Like the layout. The text box is obviously tighter than most people have it, but after reading a few paragraphs I'm enjoying it. I like the little updates of how far along in the show we are. Alright, the writing of the tag match is good. Nice to have context and even though the match was a short 6 minutes the description was nice and concise. Good to see you can book a menacing foreigner without the anti-america crap. I've always disliked Kalisto and Sin Cara. Beat 'em down, Rusev! Thank you so much for making Acension seem respectable. Maybe it's easier to do in text because I'm not seeing that LOD-Illuminati looking crap, but I've always thought Acension could be a good powerhouse tag team. They belong in NXT. May not have read every one of your shows word for word, but I've noticed Corbin's little streak. Good to see it intact, but that was another real short match. Battle Royal is going to be interesting to read. Every competitor is going to be crazy. I thought my $30 haircuts were outrageous. Jesus. Ziggler vs Breeze has the makings of an awesome clash of charisma. Good way to put Breeze over. Alright. Women's match for the main event. #GiveDivasAChance. I have to believe that Paige is the favorite for this match. Write up was enjoyable. Good amount of twists and swerves for a fatal four way. Charlotte winning is huge! I was sure you'd give it to Paige as a way to boost Emma's run a bit more, but Charlotte vs Emma is going to be unpredictable. Paige quitting!? does that mean back to the main roster, or is she going to go all loose cannon and unleash on everyone?
I don't know if you intend to, but this truly reads like an episode of NXT. Your write ups contain a nice mix up of the action, commentary, etc. Ready for Unleashed!

Big win for The Lucha Dragons over essentially the B-team of The Legionnaires. Gotch taking the pinfall was the right call. I'm at a loss as to where you're headed with this feud. I initially thought Sin Cara and Kalisto would find some back-up to even the odds but now I'm steering away from that. Looking forward to seeing how you wrap the feud up, whenever that may be. Deep interview with Emma. The Diva's 4-way match should be good later on in the broadcast. I love the prospect of either it essentially being a 3-on-1 (which I doubt) or having the BFF's all turn on each other for a shot at Emma. Cool that you're giving the Diva's the main event spot. Ohh, so you are going with the 3-on-3 route. Naturally I was thinking maybe Rey just because it's Sin Cara and Kalisto but I can't see that happening--especially given it's not a live special for the "surprise factor". I'm eager to see who you use for that next week! I wonder who The Ascension are referring to... An over-the-top rope battle royal! Just a note, you put that they'll face Bo on May 28th instead of 29th. Ah, bit gutted that Corbin went over Kruger. The post-match stuff with Kruger being dazed and confused: Adam Rose character coming in? The Kruger character is infinitely better, in my opinion. Although, Rose did work better on NXT as opposed to the main roster. Same with Emma. Yeah, the implosion of The BFF's is coming. I get you (potentially) bringing Carmella in and pairing her up with Cass and Enzo, however, I just feel like she comes across as more of a heel than they do. I think she'd be a better fit elsewhere. It is a good way to initially get her over with the crowd, though I suppose. Looking forward to Cass and Enzo's return to NXT regardless. Ziggler/Breeze segment was fun. There's so much potential with a feud between them and Dolph is a great fit in NXT. Typical way for The BFF's to turn on each other with repeatedly breaking up the other's pin attempt. Fine win for Charlotte. I liked how Summer took the pinfall as that leaves a feud wide open between Charlotte/Summer for after Unleashed as I can't see Charlotte taking the title from Emma so soon. Post-match stuff was good. I wasn't initially a fan of Paige attacking Charlotte, who just won the match, and Sasha, however, it makes sense from the point of view that Summer stood by and kind of let it happen. Paige quitting was a good way to write her out and promote her to the main roster full-time. Overall, a good show as usual. Looking forward to seeing what additions to the Unleashed card you have over the next couple of weeks. Also looking forward to next week's battle royal for the new number one contender!

#WWENXT
WWE NXT - Thursday 1st May 2014 - Winter Park, FL (#219) Taped: Thursday 24th April 2014 - Broadcast on the WWE Network! "THE GLASS CEILING BREAKS"
Tonight on NXT:
- Last week William Regal announced that Bo Dallas would next defend his NXT Heavyweight Championship at the live NXT Unleashed special next month on the WWE Network. However his opponent has not yet been decided: which brings us to tonight, where every member of the NXT roster will duel it out in an over-the-top-rope battle royal to determine who will go on to challenge Bo for the NXT title on May 29.
- After two month of having to put up with the persistent members of the Legionnaires, Kalisto alongside WWE Superstar Sin Cara have proven their stance against Sylvester Lefort and his mercenaries. However tonight, in an interesting twist, Alexander Rusev teams up with Aiden English and Simon Gotch to do battle with Sin Cara, Kalisto and a partner of their choice - with the 'Bulgarian Brute' aiming to end this once and for all.
- After the conclusion of last week's fatal four-way number one contenders match, Paige declared that she quit and walked out of NXT with her future undetermined. However tonight we will get an update on the 'Anti-Diva's future, and also hear comments from the new number one contender to the NXT Women's Championship Charlotte four weeks before she challenges Emma at NXT Unleashed.
- Enzo Amore is weeks away from being cleared to compete at long last! Sidelined in November with a broken leg, he and Colin Cassady will join Michael Cole in Stamford, Connecticut for an exclusive interview ahead of Enzo's return to the ring.
After the opening WWE signature a teaser trailer aired, reviewing the reign of NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas up to this point. "He has been the champion for 343 days, and he has done anything in his power to walk out with the NXT Championship in tact" spoke the voiceover, as Dallas' cheating tactics were displayed with examples visualized by footage of Dallas cheating to win the title last May against Big E Langston; rolling up Sami Zayn on two different occasions; and ending the NXT career of Kassius Ohno thanks to interference manipulated by Adrian Neville's interference. "But tonight...a new contender will step up. And rise to the occasion". It showed footage of previous battle royals in NXT - namely the one last May which saw Bo Dallas coincidentally winning to gain contention to Big E's NXT Heavyweight Championship.
The video faded out, as the opening video package for NXT followed, showcasing the ensemble of stars in NXT today - among them being Bo Dallas, Sami Zayn, the Ascension, Emma, Corey Graves and Adrian Neville. We went to the Full Sail University where the ring was already filled with NXT superstars and the theme of Tyler Breeze was playing as he wandered down to the ring with his iPhone. Meanwhile, Tom Phillips and Alex Riley were standing by on commentary as they welcomed us to the show and narrated what was going on in this hour of NXT tonight.(00:02)
#NXTBattleRoyal NUMBER ONE CONTENDER'S BATTLE ROYAL SAMI ZAYN vs AIDEN ENGLISH vs KALISTO vs BARON CORBIN vs ALEXANDER RUSEV vs VIKTOR vs C.J. PARKER vs COREY GRAVES vs TYSON KIDD vs SIMON GOTCH vs KONNOR vs MOJO RAWLEY vs TYLER BREEZE vs SIN CARA vs BULL DEMPSEY vs JASON JORDAN vs TYE DILLINGER vs DANNY BURCH vs OLIVER GREY vs LEO KRUGER A huge opportunity laid ahead for one of these twenty participants, all vying for the opportunity to go on and challenge Bo Dallas for the NXT Heavyweight Championship at NXT Unleashed in four weeks time. After more entrances from Tyler Breeze, Adrian Neville, Corey Graves and Sami Zayn, the bell sounded and just like that the ring began to shake with bodies trading punches at one another. Among the flock included Performance Center trainees Bull Dempsey, Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger - all three men who have been on the programme before - namely Dempsey, who battled Kassius Ohno in a gauntlet match back in January. Ahead of their big six-man tag team match later tonight, Kalisto and Sin Cara tried to fight with members of the Legionnaires, but Alexander Rusev soon began to strike, the 'Bulgarian Brute' then practically going after anybody in sight: including eliminating Tye Dillinger, C.J. Parker and attempting to eliminate Adrian Neville just for Neville to fight back. Speaking of Neville, he managed to outsmart big Bull Dempsey, connecting with a headscissors managing to eliminate the Performance Center blue chipper. Jason Jordan attempted to try his luck in pounding away at Konnor of the Ascension - but when Viktor arrived to the scene, he wasn't happy. The NXT Tag Team Champions quickly got rid of Jason Jordan, but not before nailing him with a big Fall of Man for his worries. On another side of the ring, Kalisto attempted to charge at Simon Gotch and Aiden English, but got catapulted over them, flipping over the top rope and facing elimination - and the NXT Universe were not happy! Sin Cara then followed shortly after, as Alexander Rusev caught him on the top rope and gorilla pressed him over the top, eliminating the other luchador.
Meanwhile, new tag team Danny Burch and Oliver Grey from the Ruffians were having fun in pounding away at Tyson Kidd, although Sami Zayn would soon interject himself, trying to save his recent ally Kidd from the two hardmen from England. In another corner, Tyler Breeze was pounding away at Baron Corbin - and trying his best in the process - however the 'Enigma' soon rebounded out of the corner, a huge clothesline rocking 'Prince Pretty' big-time. The Syrian-Canadian Zayn then found himself trading blows with Aiden English, and that's when Simon Gotch tried to blindsight Sami from behind - but Sami delivered a big back body drop sending Gotch over the top rope! Sami followed suit, connecting with a big Helluva Kick to a dazed English in the corner - and Tyson Kidd followed with a big dropkick to eliminate Aiden English! Tyson Kidd looked overjoyed and the NXT Universe were too, as Tom Phillips bellowed out: "Tyson Kidd with the elimination! Kidd looks pumped up, but he hasn't won this yet!" Indeed, he was right, as Kidd began to celebrate in the centre of the ring - just to get nailed with the Fall of Man from the Ascension! Meanwhile, Baron Corbin was finding himself being given several lefts and rights from Leo Kruger, his recent rival - and that's when Baron Corbin exploded - the 'Enigma' grabbing the 'Master of Dark' and sending him flying over the top rope to eliminate Leo Kruger - then, Corbin grabbed Danny Burch and tossed him over the top rope...when Alexander Rusev, the 'Bulgarian Brute' came from behind dipping Baron Corbin overboard! The NXT Universe booed loudly, and Corbin wanted a piece of Alexander Rusev - pulling him over the top rope with him! The two goliaths began to brawl at ringside, as several officials tried to restrain the two men, the NXT Universe cheering Baron on against the Bulgarian! "It's becoming a war zone! A clash of titans right here!" exclaimed Alex Riley.
Back inside the ring, however, Mojo Rawley attempted to target Tyler Breeze, just for the sneaky Corey Graves to come from behind, dumping him over the top rope! The 'Savior of Misbehavior' had been hiding in a corner, presumably hiding away from Adrian Neville his former tag team partner - but now he was in plain view - and Neville charged for a cocky Graves - just for Viktor and Konnor to intercept, pounding away on him: which brought Sami Zayn and a recovered Tyson Kidd to the rescue, exchanging blows trying to fend off the Ascension - and Sami Zayn succeeded, a Japanese armdrag sending Viktor over the top to the floor! "Sami Zayn could be wanting to get another opportunity at Bo Dallas - and tonight could be his night!" noted Tom Phillips, as Zayn then walked right into the Beauty Shot by Breeze! Tyler smirked, as he then traded blows with Tyson. Graves meanwhile was now kicking away at a dazed Neville, the former NXT Tag Team Champions meeting physically for the first time since Graves sidelined Neville one month ago. Elsewhere, Konnor dumped Oliver Grey with a thunderous clothesline showing off what kind of dominant monster he can be, growling in victory. Konnor went to go after Sami Zayn, pounding away at him with the NXT Tag Team Champion now fighting for himself: and that proved to be a bad idea, as Tyler Breeze decided to stab him in the back, throwing Konnor over the top rope! Breeze was all smiles as he played to the crowd - but that allowed Sami Zayn to come from behind, back dropping Tyler Breeze over the top!
Then what followed next was shocking, as Tyson Kidd came from behind and eliminated his own friend Sami Zayn! Zayn looked absolutely furious at ringside, as Alex Riley bursted: "What!? Tyson, why!?" Kidd acted like it was an accident in the ring, as Sami shook his head at ringside, looking incredibly angry and storming off. Meanwhile, Kidd approached Adrian Neville and Corey Graves and got tossed out by both Adrian Neville and Corey Graves in a rare flashback to their NXT Tag title reign! "Tyson has some serious explaining to do when he gets to the back" commented Phillips, as we were down to two! Adrian Neville realized this and began to pound relentlessly on Corey Graves, wanting revenge for what he did to him, sidelining him for a month with a knee injury! "The war is on!" noted Riley, as Graves managed to kick Neville's back knee, Graves then picking Neville up and attempted the fireman's carry gutbuster - just for Nevile to flip onto Graves' shoulders, attempting a hurricanrana...but Graves blocked it and tried to powerbomb Neville out of the ring. Adrian was wise however, clinging onto the top rope and blocking it, then kicking Corey in the gut fending him off. Neville connected with a springboard shooting star press: but Graves caught him in the centre with a Codebreaker! Neville was down, as Graves once again attempted to throw Neville over the top, but the resilient 'Jumping Geordie' blocked it again, kicking Graves away yet again and connected with a back body drop sending Corey to the apron! Corey was clinging on as Neville charged him with a running knee, but Graves simply fell to the apron on his back - head above the floor. And that's when Neville did something risky - springing off of the second rope and connecting with a double foot stomp into the heart of Graves - Neville clinging onto the ropes, and Corey Graves hit the floor giving us a winner in 12:24!
WINNER, AND NUMBER ONE CONTENDER: ADRIAN NEVILLE (***1/4) "Neville did it! Neville did it! Adrian Neville has defied gravity again, and now he's going to challenge Bo Dallas for the NXT Heavyweight title!" exclaimed Tom Phillips on commentary, as Adrian Neville looked exhausted, hanging onto the ring apron. The 'Man That Gravity Forgot' climbed back inside, as Neville's hand was raised as victor by referee Shawn Bennett. Corey Graves was down on the floor, but the 'Savior of Misbehavior' was still talking trash, heard mouthing "I'm gonna kick your ass, Neville". Adrian looked emotional and fatigued, and that's when Bo Dallas walked out onto the rampway dressed in a shirt and jeans. The NXT Heavyweight Championship was brandished on his shoulder, as Bo smugly smiled at Neville - giving his future opponent a big thumbs up for his win! "Bo may seem happy right now, but he can't be knowing he has to face this man in four weeks at NXT Unleashed - the title's on the line!" mentioned Graves.

- NXT UNLEASHED, MAY 29: After winning a twenty man battle royal, Adrian Neville has gained contention to the NXT Heavyweight Championship. On May 29, the 'Man That Gravity Forgot' will headline NXT Unleashed, challenging the longest reigning and defending NXT Heavyweight Champion, Bo Dallas.
We suddenly cut to the backstage area, where Tyson Kidd was shown making his way through the tunnel, when suddenly he was approached by a confrontational Sami Zayn. "I'm sorry..." began Tyson, but Sami cut him off immediately: "You're sorry? Oh right, so you ask for my help and then decide to use me to get one over on me? What's the point, Tyson? I'm sorry, but I'm really mad now. You cost me the NXT Heavyweight Championship not once, but twice now! And man, that is my goal, and to have someone that I considered a good guy take advantage of me really ticks me off. Tonight, I want to settle this once and for all: me, versus you." spoke a passionate Zayn, before he walked away. Tyson meanwhile was left shaking his head, hands on his hips in frustration over this whole situation. (00:19)
An advertisement aired, promoting WWE Extreme Rules, live on the WWE Network this Sunday, headlined by Daniel Bryan defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Kane in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
(00:20) We went to the NXT Arena, where Sylvester Lefort was leading Alexander Rusev, Aiden English and Simon Gotch of the Legionnaires down to the ring to boos, Rusev particularly reeling after being eliminated in the battle royal earlier tonight. "Last week the four Legionnaires spoke out about their intentions to end this feud with Kalisto and Sin Cara - but in a six-man tag team match. Who's gonna team up with the luchadores tonight?" questioned Tom Phillips, as Alex Riley added "And it's a bad night already for the Legionnaires - all three are peeved that they lost the number one contender's battle royal. And that could spell disaster for Kalisto and Sin Cara".
The theme of Sin Cara played next, bringing out the two Mexican sensations to loud cheers from the Full Sail University. "And here they are, the two men that nobody would have thought to put up such a fight against Sylvester Lefort and his Legionnaires. They beat Gotch and English last week - but can they get the job done tonight?" asked Phillips as the two luchadores stood at the top of the ramp.
Sylvester Lefort leading the pack in the ring held a microphone, pronouncing this six-man tag team battle: "Kalisto. Sin Cara. You imbeciles are guilty, and tonight you will be serving the sentence. Tonight, we end this business with you - you have been a thorn in the side of my Legionnaires for too long...and tonight, it comes to an end with your impending destruction. So who's your partner...if you even have one!" cackled the Frenchman, as the Legionnaires looked focused...when suddenly the theme of Baron Corbin played, and the NXT Universe exploded, the 'Enigma' walking out alongside Kalisto and Sin Cara - all three en route for the ring! (00:23)
BARON CORBIN, KALISTO & SIN CARA def. THE LEGIONNAIRES - The battle was on right off the bat as Simon Gotch and Aiden English came out to brawl with Kalisto and Sin Cara, trading blows at ringside but Baron Corbin joined the fray and took shots taking down both men! Sin Cara and Kalisto continued the fight with the Legionnaires at ringside, as the 'Enigma' spotted the 'Bulgarian Brute' Alexander Rusev glaring him down in the ring! Corbin got inside and stared off with Rusev, the two men that eliminated each other earlier in the battle royal - and they went at it trading blows before English and Gotch got inside. Kalisto was on it though, a springboard moonsault taking down all men in the ring! The match soon sizzled down to Kalisto and Aiden English with the other four men in their respective corners, as Kalisto managed to out-perform the 'Artiste', the 'King of Flight' bettering him with his speed, as Sin Cara soon got the tag. Cara attempted to continue the work, but ran into a big roadblock when Simon Gotch got a blind tag from English, and Gotch darted in and nailed Cara with a backbreaker! Gotch had Cara where he wanted him from that point, working over him on the canvas and keeping him grounded as Aiden English and Simon Gotch continued to work over him with several double-team moves. However eventually Sin Cara reversed a superplex from Gotch on the top rope, connecting with a desperation victory roll from the top! Sin Cara was unable to capitalize though, and instead he got the tag to Baron Corbin as Alexander Rusev got the tag as well! Corbin glared down Rusev...but Alexander instead decided to tag out and leave the ring! English took over as legal man, but the 'Artiste' ran right into the End of Days from Baron! Corbin tagged in Kalisto, and he came off the top rope with a corkscrew moonsault for the victory in 7:37! **1/2
Kalisto and Sin Cara celebrated in the ring to cheers from the NXT Universe, as the luchadores had picked up the victory with help from teammate for the night, Baron Corbin. However as Aiden English rolled out of the ring into the waiting arms of Simon Gotch, the 'Bulgarian Brute' Alexander Rusev had departed ringside and was backing up the rampway with Sylvester Lefort in pursuit. The 'Enigma' Baron Corbin continued to stare down Rusev as Alex Riley asked the big question: "Does Alexander Rusev not want any part of Baron Corbin? Is it fear!?" (00:31) An advertisement aired, promoting NXT Unleashed, live on the WWE Network on May 29.( 00: 32)
In the backstage area Adrian Neville was shown cooling off after his victory in the battle royal gaining him contention to the NXT Heavyweight Championship earlier tonight. Devin Taylor approached the 'Man That Gravity Forgot' for some comments, starting by saying "Adrian, if you have a minute. How does it feel being the number one contender to the NXT Championship?" However suddenly, Corey Graves arrived, causing Devin to cower away. The 'Savior of Misbehavior' looked angry as he got in the face of Adrian, sarcastically saying "Congrats, Neville. You win again. But know this, I can't wait to ruin your every effort to win the big one. Because you don't deserve it. And I do." he sternly said as Neville responded with a fiery glare back at his former tag team partner. "You would have won if that were the case, Corey. I am the number one contender. And I'm going to do what everybody couldn't - beat Bo Dallas". Graves' glare turned to a smirk, as he backed up. "The thing is, you couldn't beat me if you tried". Neville immediately retorted "How about we put that theory in notion next week. Me and you, one on one", he sternly said. Graves, much to the surprise of the NXT Universe and Neville accepted: "Sure...but on my terms, it will be a Street Fight", fired back Graves as Neville nodded his head. Graves left, as Tom Phillips spoke out: "It's gonna happen! They will finally meet one-on-one next week!"( 00: 33)
- NEXT WEEK: Good friends, better enemies...former NXT Tag Team Champions Adrian Neville and Corey Graves are now arch rivals, and after Neville won the number one contender's battle royal, the 'Savior of Misbehavior' is irked, convinced that he could beat his former partner. Next week, they settle the score in a Street Fight.
Suddenly we went to another part of the backstage area here in Full Sail, where we saw Kalisto and Sin Cara laid out on the floor! "Wait wait, what happened!?" questioned Alex Riley, as Tom Phillips added, "Kalisto and Sin Cara have been spotted knocked out cold in the back, but where? And why!? Surely this is an act of the Legionnaires". Kalisto coughed after the beating, as Sin Cara clutched his ribs. ( 00: 33)
From there, we went to the NXT broadcast team as they began to address the conclusion to last week's episode, where Paige quit NXT. "Well, I hope Kalisto and Sin Cara are okay and we find out who did this to them, but we've got to switch gears to last week, where we crowned a new number one contender to the NXT Women's Championship - but we also seemingly lost a member of the Divas division". A replay package aired, reviewing the fatal four-way match that main evented last week, with Paige coming so close to winning and gaining contention to her former NXT Women's Championship - just for Charlotte to steal the victory at the last minute. The 'Flair of NXT' was celebrating, and rightfully so as her NXT Unleashed opponent Emma came out for a staredown - but that's when the 'Anti-Diva' lost patience, taking out Charlotte and then shouting "I QUIT!" right into the face of former best friend Emma, storming out of the Full Sail University. We cut back to the NXT Arena, where Alex Riley added, "It's a shame, but Paige I guess just had enough of NXT. She's moved onto RAW and SmackDown - but her frustrations have led to her leaving NXT, and it is very disappointing". We then went to a WWE.com Exclusive video, where Paige was shown packing her bags in the Divas locker room after last week's show went off the air. The camera man asked the 'Anti-Diva', "Where are you going?" to which Paige bluntly responded, "I'm going to RAW. Leave me alone". She put her hand over the lens of the camera, as the video cut out. (00:35)
TYLER BREEZE def. JASON JORDAN - Last week 'Prince Pretty' was unsuccessful in getting the better of Dolph Ziggler in a confrontation that showed us a lot more of Tyler Breeze than he wanted anybody to - as the 'Show Off' made him lose his temper, Breeze attempted to run down Ziggler just for the former World Heavyweight Champion to get the better of him. This week, Tyler was frustrated - also because he came close to winning the battle royal at the top of the hour. Tyler was facing Jason Jordan of the Performance Center, a former college football and amateur wrestler at Indiana University. Jordan also appeared in the battle royal earlier on - and surprised everybody early on in this match as he got in some offense against Tyler just to fall eventually thanks to Tyler's sudden change of momentum. Breeze worked over Jordan, focusing on his neck. Jordan soon made a comeback however, and he almost got a win over the NXT Superstar with a roll-up just for Breeze to flip out, and nail Jason with a Supermodel Kick followed up by the Beauty Shock for the win in 4:28. **
The NXT Universe booed (albeit some screams from the female fans in attendance) as Tyler Breeze's hand was raised in victory, 'Prince Pretty' proceeding to grab a microphone. Breeze breathed heavily with a slight evil laugh on his part. "Dolph Ziggler, try and top that. I dare you. You're on notice, courtesy of the cutest man in NXT today, Tyler Breeze". (00:41)
From there, Tom Phillips and Alex Riley took us to Michael Cole, who sat in a chair in Stamford, Connecticut's WWE Headquarters. "Ladies and gentlemen, I too was baffled when I was assigned this job. But nonetheless, today I am joined by a...very fiery performer making his name in NXT right now. He's been sidelined for a while, but he's on his way back soon...Enzo Amore". We cut to see Enzo seated next to Colin Cassidy, as Enzo and Cass almost simultaneously asked "How you doin'". "Gents, Enzo, Cass, you guys have apparently been best friends since school. Have you always been in situations where you have been relying on the other man for help?" asked Cole, as Enzo thought about it. "Well ya know, Cass was always there watching me beat up these punks in the schoolyard, ya know" - but Cass had a different answer: "Oh yeah, I was always stickin' up for Enzo in school. He was always getting people mad, kids that were bigger than him. And I'd knock 'em down, ya know how it is". Enzo nudged Cass to be quiet, as Cole moved on. "You've been on the bench with a broken leg since last November. How did it effect you initially to be separated and have to watch your best friend try his own in NXT?" asked Michael. "It was kinda brilliant, ya know I work hard, and I got to challenge Bo Dallas for the NXT Heavyweight title - but he's my buddy. I always look out for Enzo". Amore then lit up, responding "Oh man I was so stoked for you when you had a shot at that pipsqueak Bo Dallas' title. I think you coulda won it all! We coulda ruled NXT. But no, I was disappointed by my injury. We came so close to winning the NXT Tag titles, ya know?". "So when you return, do you think that you will go after the NXT Tag Team Championship held by the Ascension. What do you think about those guys, Konnor and Viktor?" asked Cole. "I think they're chinless wonders. They're all muscle, no brain. They're stupid". After each sentence Cass supported Enzo by saying "How ya doin'", much to the awkward facial expressions from Cole. "How about rehab? It was well documented by Big Cass, your rehab. How was it?" 'Zo laughed as he responded quickly, "Oh man, it was a piece of cake. When ya as good at fitness as I am, everybody wants to help ya get back on ya feet - but I didn't need it, nawmsayin?" While Enzo said this, a silent cutaway montage aired on the screen showing all of the comical moments of Cass recording Enzo as he recovered, aired on NXT over the past few months. "I knew he could do it, and he's gotten a lot better with his wrestling too. He's gonna be the Bret Hart of NXT when he comes back" spoke Cass. "How ya doin". "The Roddy Piper of NXT". "How ya doin". "The Rock". "How ya doin". "The Mick Foley". "Bang bang, how ya doin". "The Funaki". "Woah woah woah, not like that", interrupted Enzo. After several moments of awkward staring, Michael Cole decided to wrap things up. "Well, there you have it. Two of NXT's oddballs, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. Is there anything else you guys want to say before you leave?", asked the announcer. "Yeah I got somethin'. I've got big words for the NXT roster: ya all on watch when I come back! I'm coming back in two weeks time, and it's gonna be great for us, and bad for you". Cass laughed as he wrapped his big forearm around Enzo tight. "Ya boy's comin' back swingin', and you better take it or move out of the way, how ya doin!" concluded Cass as Enzo seemed to struggle breathing in Cass's grip. ( 00: 45)
- IN TWO WEEKS: After being sidelined with a broken leg last November, the hothead from New Jersey Enzo Amore, alongside best friend Colin Cassady both make their return to NXT!
#ZaynVsKidd
SAMI ZAYN vs TYSON KIDD This was set to be an unusual main event for NXT tonight, with two apparent friends settling troubles in the ring. Tyson Kidd came to Sami Zayn seeking help last month to amend his losing streak - and yet despite the help, Kidd continued to lose week after week. In the process, when Zayn was challenging for the NXT Heavyweight Championship against Bo Dallas last month, Tyson Kidd came in and "accidentally" cost him the title. On top of that, tonight during the battle royal Tyson Kidd eliminated Sami Zayn - and rightfully so, the passionate Syrian-Canadian was furious. This led us to this match, and Sami Zayn looked quite angry as he wandered down to the ring with a loud ovation from the NXT Universe as usual. "Sami Zayn wants retribution, even if Tyson is his friend" commented Tom Phillips, as Alex Riley noted "If I were Sami Zayn, I'd have done the same thing - but if I was Tyson Kidd, I would have eliminated Sami too. The battle royal is every man for themselves." However Phillips made a point: "But this isn't the first time Tyson Kidd has done something to deceive Zayn. It seems so coincidental that it's happened on a number of occasions now". Tyson Kidd then came to the ring looking quite nervous, dressed in a black T-shirt over his usual attire. Kidd looked around and noted the mixed reaction for him, the Canadian knowing that he had done something wrong to be here. Kidd innocently got inside the ring and put his hands up as Sami approached and told him "I'm sorry but I have to do this". Kidd nodded his head in agreement, before backing up and reaching up his shirt - then nailing Sami Zayn with a pair of brass knuckles! The NXT Universe booed loudly as Tyson had laid Sami Zayn out with his brass knuckles shot into the skull of Zayn! Kidd looked around and smiled as the boos rained down on him, Tyson then picking Zayn up and drilling him with a number of shots to the skull of Sami, screaming at him: "You think you're better than me don't ya! Well you're wrong, and that's a FACT!" Kidd had Zayn squirming on the canvas as the final graduate of the Hart Dungeon went up to the top rope, connecting with the diving neckbreaker on Zayn! "Tyson Kidd has shocked everybody! Tyson has exploded, he's finally snapped - and the worst part about this is that this could lead to his first victory in six months". Kidd demanded that referee Danilo Anfibio ring the bell to start the match, then hooking the leg of Zayn for three in 0:04 seconds! WINNER: TYSON KIDD"I can't believe it", plainly put Tom Phillips as Tyson Kidd began screaming in celebration. "I did it! I did it! Yes!" Tyson Kidd began jumping up and down in celebration of his first win in months, as Alex Riley applauded him, "That was absolutely genius on the part of Tyson Kidd! Genius!" Kidd continued to celebrate as Sami Zayn was down and hurting as a result of the brass knuckle attack on the second rope, as the fans booed loudly. "Tyson Kidd has won his first match in over six months in NXT, but he did it by destroying a friendship with Sami Zayn!" exclaimed Tom Phillips, as Tyson continued to celebrate. "This may very well come back to haunt Tyson, because Sami Zayn will be coming right after Tyson for revenge - as we know it, sooner rather than later". ( 00: 52)
Suddenly we went to the backstage area where Bo Dallas was shown talking at a camera man, his camera recording. "So Adrian Neville is the number one contender now. Congratulations, buddy! But you know one thing about me is, I like nothing more than to put down my enemies! But great job - and next week, I'm going to be there to tell you exactly what kind of athlete I think you are Adrian. Good job!" spoke the excited yet twisted NXT Heavyweight Champion, as Bo Dallas then walked away from the camera, NXT going off the air. (00:53) WWE NXT RESULTS: 5/1/2014Tyson Kidd def. Opening with the battle royal was a good call. I liked the note of the ring pretty much being full when the show came on-air. Sounded like a great match and the finish was unique. I'm a bit torn on Neville becoming #1 contender given that he's currently feuding with Graves still. Unless this is your way of having Bo drop the belt to Neville making Neville/Graves feud for the gold? That would be pretty cool. Kidd/Zayn later tonight? Great. Wow, I didn't expect Baron Corbin to be The Lucha Dragon's partner but it certainly works, especially given what happened in the battle royal between Corbin and Rusev. Corbin picking up the win for his team made most sense. Corbin/Rusev should be a pretty decent big man feud. I wonder who will be the one to have their undefeated streak broken when Rusev/Corbin meet in singles action. Graves/Neville in a Street Fight next week sounds awesome. The Legionnaires attacking The Lucha Dragons backstage? Liked the backstage segment taped the week prior of Paige packing her stuff. Obvious win for Tyler over Jordan. The Enzo/Cass interview with Michael Cole was fantastic. I loved the whole "Roddy Piper of NXT. How you doin'" etc shtick. Brilliant. The main event was genius. You executed Tyson's full-on heel turn perfectly since he was always kind of in the tweener role whilst friends with Zayn. Not really a fan of the Bo segment closing the show--I feel like it would have been better to go off the air with Kidd celebrating in the ring. I realise you had alot to squeeze into a 1-hour show but I'm surprised we didn't get even a backstage segment between The BFF's after Charlotte pinned Summer for the win but other than that, excellent work, Dan.

We got NXT here, Maggle, and we're starting off big with the number one contender's battle royal! A lot of good stuff in the mix of this that got a lot of programs in the mix and I like how it ended with Adrian Neville and Corey Graves with the prior getting the victory. I see one of two things coming of that: Neville wins the belt and his feud with Graves is over the belt or Graves costs Neville the belt and Bo gets away with something again. Sami Zayn and Tyson Kidd have a riff between them, damn it, and it looks like they'll face each other later on. Nice. A good promo from The Legionnaires and Baron Corbin being the yet-to-be-named Lucha Dragons was a little surprising but it makes sense coming from the battle royal, good win for them and it appears Rusev is a little bitch when it comes to Corbin! I'm glad he has a seperate program from the Lucha Dragons and Legionnaires... at least, it appears that way. A street fight between Neville and Graves next week? Sweet. Paige quitting NXT was cool, she was going to leave one way or another. Tyler Breeze beating Jason Jordan was no surprise, he needs the build for his inevitable match up with Dolph Ziggler. Great sit down interview with Enzo Amore and Big Cass, HOW YO DOIN'? He ain't no Funaki, das fo sho doe. Looking forward to the return of Enzo. The big heel turn of Tyson Kidd was done greatly. I like how it was played out and got Kidd a win in his heel turn without being a true victory over Zayn. The feud between the two should be good. Meh to end the show the way it did with Bo Dallas, seemed like it should've been done earlier on instead of ending the show. Good stuff per usual, Danno.

Alright, DTP, time for some NXT. Right off the bat you're going with the battle royal! Bit weird considering there is some main event quality talent in that bunch. Let's hope the show doesn't kick off to high for the rest to keep up with. Favorite to win for me has to be Zayn or Neville. I like the write up. Sounds just like the way an NXT Battle Royal would play out. I like Tyson, but you can't eliminate Sami I was really hoping he'd win, to be honest. While I wasn't rooting for Neville, him winning seems smart booking wise. I don't Bo-lieve he can end the impressive reign of Bo Dallas, though. Alright, Tyson Kidd vs Sami Zayn is a great matchup. I was weary of the battle royal being to tough of an act to follow, but I think that Kidd vs Zayn can do it. Six man tag match sounded awesome. It got about eight minutes, as well! Talent like those six men could easily put on a great performance if given the time and liberty to do so. I'd love to see the Sin Cara & Kalisto combo threaten Konnor & Viktor. Well, nevermind. Attacked backstage. Does this mean the Legionnaries are going to get another match with them? Interested to see how much more we get out of this Paige quitting storyline. Definitely a major loss for the NXT Women's Division if she decides to go to Raw/Smackdown. Enzo & Cass could get interesting. I'd love it if the tag team division grew. More variety in champions, competitions, matches, etc. Alright, the big finale. Kidd vs Zayn. I feel like there's been so much already on this episode, but with these two guys in a match there's still so much more to come. I expected a good brawl, but not that! Kidd's gone crazy. If this leads to a Zayn/Kidd feud I'll be extremely excited. Interested in seeing what's to come. Plenty of intriguing storylines to continue in the next few weeks.

I know that I've been slacking on replies so my bad there. Good opening write up, and I believe that Bo Dallas' reign is coming up soon, though I sense it hitting the one year mark before it's all said and done. I see Bull Dempsey is in this battle royal, I lose all respect for it. Seriously though, Baron Corbin and Alexander Rusev coming face to face sounds awesome actually. Adrian Neville winning, and lastly eliminating Corey Graves was rather perfect. I'd love to see him win the belt. You said that Graves mentioned Bo couldn't be happy about facing Neville as if he was on commentary. I think you meant Riley or Phillips. Intrigued that you're going with a different name for your NXT special. Sami Zayn vs. Tyson Kidd is always a good match. I missed Simon Gotch being added to the Legionnaires so that's cool. Baron Corbin is an interesting partner for the Lucha Dragons. I sense Rusev/Corbin in an absolute collision of sorts at Unleashed. Cool write up and I'm really looking forward to seeing if they do go at it. THE IRRESISTIBLE FORCE MEETING THE IMMOVABLE OBJECT! Graves/Neville is a big match for next week, especially in a Street Fight. Poor Kalisto and Sin Cara. Intriguing move to have Paige quit NXT. Not sure about it because, while it sells her frustration well, it kind of looks bad on her. Tyler Breeze win is good, I hope he gets shine. Good Enzo and Cass stuff, but I'm not sure if Michael Cole would have been the guy to do this interview. He usually does really big ones. Great angle from Tyson Kidd. The heel turn in NXT did wonders for him, and having him take out Sami Zayn and beat him in 0:04 seconds was really wise. Overall, a good episode with a lot of things falling into place for Unleashed. I'll be sure to read and reply more often.

NXT News of the Week (May 1 - May 8, 2014)
- In a fascinating note, at the most recent conference call with investors, WWE officials noted that the reality television show Tough Enough would be making a return in the future. This comes as much surprise to the talent and the personnel (excluding Triple H) down in Florida, who knew nothing of this. It is being talked about now that the show, rather than focus on mainly untrained talents like in past editions, will be focused on NXT trainees and talents from the WWE Performance Center (where it is expected to be shot). We'll have more on this in the coming months. (May 2, 2014)
- Paige has officially left the NXT brand and is now appearing exclusively on the main roster. As for Alexander Rusev, another NXT talent that has recently debuted on the main roster, he is expected to graduate from NXT over the summer months. On a related subject, Bo Dallas and Sami Zayn are two names that are being brought up in creative meetings on the main roster, and therefore could be the next two talents to be brought up. (May 3, 2014)
- In an update on the contract negotiations between KENTA and the WWE, KENTA has told the company that he is willing to join - giving them a verbal agreement, however he is still going through with the next tour of Japan, which will most likely be his last before he signs with the WWE. It is suspected that due to his lack of English speaking skills that he will start in NXT and be taught English whilst also adapting to the WWE style (as opposed to the strongstyle alternative used mainly overseas). (May 5, 2014)
- Due to its' growing popularity mainly thanks to the WWE Network, management are considering taping bi-monthly rather than monthly like they have been since 2012. Whilst officials are very happy with NXT as a premiere product on the Network, they feel that NXT would perform even better if the taping schedule was increased, allowing them to produce more content more frequently. (May 4, 2014)
- In an update from NXT alumni Kassius Ohno (now back to using 'Chris Hero' as a ring name), he continues to be a featured act on the independent circuit, working across the United States, as well as over in Japan recently for a tour with Pro Wrestling NOAH. Hero is said to be very content with where he is right now, but said in a recent interview that he would be very happy if WWE wanted him back at any point. (May 7, 2014) |

| WWE Extreme Rules: Sunday 4th May 2014 - East Rutherford, NJ [#ExtremeRules]
| - After winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the second time at WrestleMania, Daniel Bryan was put up with a big foe in weeks following known by the name of Kane. Rechristened as the 'Big Red Machine' behind the mask, Kane planned to 'eviscerate' Bryan, and this match main evented contested under Extreme Rules. The former Team Hell No partners brawled throughout the arena, all the way through the fans in the Izod Center into the backstage area. Bryan soon came back with a forklift, which he rode down to the ringside area - and dove off the top of with a giant diving headbutt for two. Kane started going more to his roots, as he set up a table and set it on fire, the former Director of Operations planning to Chokeslam Bryan through it - but Bryan wound up on the better side of it, sending Kane through it instead, and Bryan followed up quick with a flying knee for the victory to successfully retain his title in 22:30. Bryan celebrated with his fans after the match, the 'YES! Movement' still in full effect whilst the show drew to a close. | - In the past couple of weeks, AJ Lee has lost her only friend in the Divas locker room as she had to defend the Divas Championship against Tamina Snuka several weeks ago after she had won a battle royal. However, AJ had also stumbled upon a new rival in the NXT Diva, Paige. Paige tried to win the title, and later the battle royal - just to be screwed out of it with thanks from Tamina and AJ. However now, both Paige and Tamina Snuka wanted the title from AJ, and they had to compete in singles action to get it. Paige and Tamina competed in this number one contenders' match to strive for the opportunity, as Tamina used her power early on to get the better of the 'Anti-Diva', but Paige was quick and agile, and dodged a lot of Snuka's offense. Snuka missed a Superfly Splash from the top, as innovated by fellow family member Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka, and Paige capitalized on it, getting the win with a Paige Turner in 6:18. However, AJ Lee then stormed the ring immediately afterwards, the Divas Champion nailing Paige with a big shot from the title belt - as AJ then told Paige on the microphone that this title match was starting right away. AJ Lee covered Paige...and just like that, the Divas Championship was successfully defended in just 0:05! AJ had screwed Paige once again, as she celebrated around the ring - a bad night for the 'Anti-Diva'. | - Ever since the Royal Rumble when Bray Wyatt cost John Cena the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the 'Eater of Worlds' has done everything in his power to stop Cena's ascension to the top once again. These two met at WrestleMania last month, where Wyatt repeatedly tried to make Cena resort to violence and get himself disqualified with a steel chair. Cena has since been a man on a mission to overcome the odds and not embrace everything Wyatt stands for. The two men met tonight in the confines of a Steel Cage, although unlike the cage is intended, Wyatt's followers in Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were around to cause Cena distress - and this was exemplified by repeatedly interfering whenever Cena attempted to escape the cage via the door or walls. However after getting more involved in the match, the three Wyatts were in there with Cena, who managed to take them all down with an AA for Harper and sending Rowan into the cage wall. Cena was on the verge of escape, but Bray Wyatt had climbed over the top, and dropped to the floor before Cena had chance, giving Wyatt the biggest win of his career in 22:13! Wyatt celebrated after the match and laughed at an aggressive Cena, who began to destroy Erick Rowan in the cage, sending him bouncing off of all walls before giving him two AAs followed by the STF! Wyatt asked Cena why he had given in, as Cena was furious with this loss. | - Up next it was time for the clash of two of the WWE's biggest factions, as three men from Evolution got ready to take on the three members of the Shield. Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista following WrestleMania were irritated by Daniel Bryan's victory at the grandest stage of them all, and tried to cost him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship - however the Shield were there to get in their way. Consisting of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns - three men that had previously brought down most WWE Superstars in the past - were about to have their biggest challenge to date in the three veteran former World Heavyweight Champions. And it was an all out war, as bodies flew everywhere with Rollins and Ambrose taking defying leaps against the Authority members early on - whilst Reigns powered through the opposition with his pure strength and athletic background. However the pace quickly changed as Evolution began to ground Rollins, and then Ambrose came too as Roman was trying to save the match for his team - which he did, several times. Finally, he got the tag, although it became a big brawl once again with all six men taking out one another. Finally, one man surfaced victorious, as Roman Reigns was able to take out the 'Animal' Batista with a Superman Punch, followed up with the Spear giving the Shield a huge win in 19:51. Triple H, the COO however disagreed, after the match stating "it's not over", before leaving with a defeated Orton and Batista. | - After winning an eight-man tournament to become the number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship, Bad News Barrett walked out victorious by defeating Rob Van Dam in the finals - but here he had to battle Big E, the champion himself. Big E tried to put up a fight against Bad News, but Barrett continued to cower away from the champion's power moves - however this changed when Barrett suddenly hit the Intercontinental Champion with a Wasteland, and Barrett began to manipulate and work over the champion. The challenger was in a good place, but not before Big E made a comeback, setting up for a Big Ending: flawed by Barrett kicking his way out of it, and the big Bullhammer Elbow gave Barrett the win, becoming Intercontinental Champion once again in 7:58. | - After WrestleMania, we saw the RAW debut of a strong new superstar from NXT, by the name of the 'Bulgarian Brute' Alexander Rusev. Rusev quickly cleared course of all opposition on the bottom rungs of the ladder, but then found himself an enemy in the 'World's Largest Athlete' the Big Show. Rusev didn't want to fight Show face to face when confronted however, instead choosing to walk away. Soon after, he began to show an interest in US rival country, Russia, becoming something of a patriot of the Communist country. This further outraged the patriotic American, the Big Show - and the two exchanged attacks on one another. Rusev however, has been unable to get his patented Accolade submission on the big man Show, which has caused problems with the Bulgarian. The two met here, and Show manhandled Rusev early on, tossing him around the ring and delivering some thunderous chops against the Bulgarian - but Rusev soon made a comeback and attempted to get the Accolade on the 500lb man, just for Show to power out. Show set up for the WMD knockout punch on Rusev, but suddenly a woman with blonde hair in a bun, and a business suit approached the ring, climbing onto the apron - the fans wooing her long, luscious legs. Big Show looked on in confusion, which allowed Rusev to nail Show with a big jumping super kick followed up by the Accolade successfully for his first big win in the WWE in 5:23! Rusev embraced with this mystery woman after the match, before waving the Russian flag to loud boos from the United States crowd. | - In the opening contest, it was an Extreme Rules triple threat elimination match contested between Antonio Cesaro, Jack Swagger and Rob Van Dam, whilst Zeb Colter watched on from ringside. Cesaro and Swagger, given their recent rivalry all about the 'Swiss Superman' leaving the Real Americans faction stared off as the bell sounded, but when they realized 'Mr Pay-Per-View' looking at them, they went back to their old tactics, double-teaming Van Dam: though this was only useful 50% of the time, as Van Dam came back with his typical athletic fury of agility. Cesaro and Jack Swagger's partnership broke down yet again however, as Cesaro suddenly delivered a big European uppercut to the 'Real American', as RVD then went up to the top rope and came off with the Five-Star Frog Splash, bringing the match down to the ECW Original and the 'Swiss Superman'. Cesaro worked over Van Dam's back early on, but RVD soon fired back, a monkey flip and a superkick almost putting the Swiss man away. Cesaro then at the last second found a trash can and slammed it over the head of RVD, making way for the Uppercut followed up by a Neutralizer giving Cesaro the win in 12:34. Cesaro celebrated after the match happily, proud of his work in this outing. Zeb Colter was left at ringside annoyed further by the resilient, resistant 'Swiss Superman'. | - Before Extreme Rules went off the air, the Kickoff Show was the host for a first in history, the Wee-LC match between two midgets, Hornswoggle and El Torito. The former leprechaun was supported by the three members of the 3MB, Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal whereas Torito was accompanied by his team, Los Matadores, consisting of Diego and Fernando. There was tiny everything in this match, from ladders, tables, chairs, to even midget ring announcers and commentators - taking place behind a tiny announce table. Drew McIntyre later went through that one, as this was an all-out war between the seven men involved as Michael Cole, John Bradshaw Layfield and Jerry Lawler repeatedly made short man references. Finally, the bull pulled out the stops with a big Bullsault from the top of a small ladder for the win in 10:53. | - The Extreme Rules Kickoff panel was hosted by Josh Mathews, Booker T, Alex Riley and Sheamus. Renee Young handled social media discussion whilst Byron Saxton and Tom Phillips directed backstage interviews. Michael Cole, John Bradshaw Layfield and Jerry Lawler covered commentary whilst Lilian Garcia and Justin Roberts ran ring announcing. | WWE EXTREME RULES 2014 RESULTS: Daniel Bryan def. Kane to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in an Extreme Rules match AJ Lee def. Paige to retain the Divas Championship Paige def. Tamina Snuka to gain contention to the Divas Championship Bray Wyatt def. John Cena in a Steel-Cage match The Shield def. Evolution Bad News Barrett def. WWE NXT Live Event: May 2, 2014 Largo, FL - Minnreg Hall
# | Match Result | 1. | Colin Cassady def. Troy McClain. McClain ran down the crowd before Enzo Amore and Big Cass interrupted. McClain was ran down by the two to a big ovation. McClain is still doing the television spokesperson gimmick and it works great from what I can tell. Cass got the win with the East River Crossing and celebrated with Enzo afterwards. | 2. | Sasha Banks def. Becky Lynch. This is the first time we've seen Becky here, and she didn't get much of a reaction due to her lack of appearances on television. Sasha Banks was cheered despite being a part of the BFFs due to her actually being known. Becky got in a surprising amount of offense however, working over the arm of the 'Boss'. The BFFs member made a comeback though and got the win with the Bankrupt followed by the Bank Statement. She acknowledged the fan reaction afterwards, bowing for us fans. | 3. | Ricky Edwards def. Scott Dawson in a nice, competitive match. Edwards got a big pop due to his work on the independent circuit. Dawson is actually a really good technician crossed with a brawler. Despite it being competitive, it ran shorter than expected. Ricky got in a lot of kicks and submissions, but Dawson found an opening and began to pound into the ROH alumni with some power moves. Dawson worked the ribs well - but in the end the cross-legged death valley driver gave Edwards the win. | 4. | Kalisto & El Local def. Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger in the best match so far. It was a nice treat to see Ricardo Rodriguez back under the El Local mask, and in action. He and Kalisto worked well as a team whilst Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger got good heat in beating down on Local. It was a generic tag team match with Kalisto repeatedly almost getting the tag, just for Local to get cut off. Finally the cut-off happened and Kalisto made the save with the hot dog - some astonishing aerial moves took place. Finally, Kalisto nailed Jordan with the Salida del Soy, which Local followed up with a three-step moonsault from the apron for the victory. Lots of 'Lu-cha' chants. | 5. | Corey Graves def. Adrian Neville by count-out. Big heat for Corey, for the obvious reasons, and I'm actually surprised that we got to see this match when it's scheduled for television next week (and probably after that). Neville got the babyface pop of the night pretty much here, and went right after Graves and uncharacteristically wasn't so agile tonight. Graves targeted the bad leg of Neville and battered away at it, and he worked the crowd so well with his slow, Randy Orton-like pace. Graves tried to go for the Unlucky 13 a few times, but on every attempt Neville found a way to block it. Adrian finally got back into the picture despite the cut-off attempts, and was back into agile-mode, going for the Red Arrow, but Graves cut him off and send him off the top to the floor in a nasty bump. Graves then pounded on Adrian at ringside as the referee began counting both men out, which led to Graves giving Neville a sly low-blow before rolling inside the ring for the unfortunate count-out win. This will be great on television this week in the street fight. | 6. | Baron Corbin def. Dash Wilder in a short squash win. Coming back from intermission we saw Dash Wilder arrive and call out Baron Corbin, proclaiming him a big joke with a list full of flukey wins. Baron came out to a good pop, and despite Dash getting in some offense including a nice Arn Anderson-esque spinebuster, Baron got the quick win as expected with the End of Days. | 7. | Simon Gotch def. Mojo Rawley in a match that was as expected. It was fun, as Aiden English said before the match that it was going to be a tag team match, but Mojo couldn't find any friends. So Simon Gotch took the match to Mojo one-on-one with Aiden and Sylvester Lefort at ringside. Mojo still has a good following despite the focus coming off of him in recent months. He's improved a lot in the ring, though. Whenever Rawley was en route to victory, Aiden or Sylvester interjected threatening the result of the match - and this eventually led Mojo to chasing Lefort around the ring. Finally, as Mojo set up the Hyperdrive, Lefort got on the apron again, which allowed Aiden English to step in and nail Rawley with the Director's Cut, leading to Gotch finishing Rawley with the Gentleman's Slam. The Legionnaires pounded on Rawley after the bell before celebrating. Gotch looked good. | 8. | Bayley def. Charlotte in a great women's match. The crowd understood the rivalry here, and although it hasn't translated onto television yet, it will be a great one when Bayley returns. Instead, they're testing the waters on this live event circuit, and it's gold. Great chemistry, and Charlotte works like a real pro. Bayley wanted to get into Charlotte right from the entrance, but the referee kept warning her about disqualification which followed suit when Charlotte decided to stall at ringside. Bayley followed hotheadedly, which allowed Charlotte to pound away on Bayley, targeting the leg she's been out healing and rehabbing. Charlotte continued to work it and mocked the crowd, unlike Sasha Banks, actually being booed here. The fans were high on Bayley, who they hadn't seen in a while, and eventually she made a comeback just to get cut off. Charlotte repeatedly teased the Figure-Four Leglock, but Bayley eventually reversed into the inside cradle, which gave Charlotte the win in about fifteen minutes. After the match, Charlotte was annoyed and Bayley was still in pain, which set up Charlotte to go right to work in pounding away at the bad leg of Bayley. Charlotte locked in the Figure-Four Leglock to boos as the referee (and then the other two referees working tonight) came out to restrain Charlotte. Great work all round. | 9. | Sami Zayn def. Tyson Kidd in a fun main event. Tyson Kidd came out looking quite sheepish, and a lot of the fans were surprised to see him here, considering that he's been working on the main roster live events recently. The crowd had also clocked on that he turned heel on Zayn this past week - but either way I think they would have cheered Sami Zayn. Zayn gets ridiculous pops every time he's in Largo. Tyson and Sami mat-wrestled to kick off the match, and despite Tyson's best efforts, Sami got the better of him. Eventually, Kidd got annoyed and roamed outside, where he got the Ruffians, Danny Burch and Oliver Grey out for assistance. They got good heat, and Oliver Grey in particular got a lot of abuse thrown his way after last appearing here with Adrian Neville as NXT Tag Team Champions - to this London brawler gimmick. They worked well as enforcers, as Sami continued to get distracted by them - but it eventually built to an awesome over the top topé by Zayn onto all three men. Big crowd heat for this one, surprisingly. Eventually Sami was in position to put Kidd down with the Helluva Kick but both Ruffians distracted Zayn bringing out...Enzo Amore and Big Cass! Great reaction for that, as Enzo and Colin Cassady fought off Burch and Grey - meanwhile, Sami broke free of a sharpshooter attempt reversing into the Koji Clutch causing Kidd to tap out. After the match, Zayn celebrated with Enzo and Cassady on the microphone, and it was quite funny stuff. Great segment to close the show. The crowd were great, NXT is a cool little cult at this point. |

#RAW MONDAY NIGHT RAW - Monday 5th May 2014 - Albany, NY (#1093) LIVE on the USA Network!
Following his dramatic victory over the 'World's Largest Athlete' the Big Show the night before, Alexander Rusev came out to address his victory, and the identity of the mystery woman who helped him to victory. Rusev spoke out about his dedication for the country of Russia, announcing himself as an advocate for Vladimir Putin's cause. The hostile New York crowd responded with furious 'WHAT!?' chants, when Rusev told them to shut up, introducing his mystery accomplice as Lana, who graced the ring with her presence wearing a red blazer, blouse and short shirt, her blonde hair in a bun. Lana continued to talk about domination, degrading the United States of America when suddenly the theme of Santino Marella hit to interrupt him.
Accompanied by Emma, Santino talked about how he is of Italian descent, but then went on to say how much he loved America, telling Rusev and Lana to leave if they don't like it or face "the Cobra" (which got a comedic response). Alexander Rusev challenged the former Intercontinental Champion to come down to the ring, and Santino did so, getting blasted almost immediately with a big jumping superkick. Rusev locked in the Accolade on Santino as Lana watched with a grin on her face; Emma at ringside left distraught. Rusev and Lana had left a mark here tonight, as Lana concluded, touting Rusev's undefeated path of destruction.
DIVAS CHAMPION AJ LEE def. EVA MARIE by disqualification - Last night at Extreme Rules, AJ Lee embarrassed Paige, as after the former NXT Women's Champion had won a number one contender's match against Tamina Snuka earning the right to challenge AJ for the Divas Championship, the 'Anti-Diva' was blindsighted by a shot from the Divas title to the face, allowing AJ Lee to capitalize on an easy victory. Tonight, this was similar as AJ Lee took on Total Divas star Eva Marie, and quite quickly took her apart, looking to set up the Black Widow when Paige suddenly jumped AJ Lee, signalling the disqualification in 1:49. n/a
After the match Paige unrelented on AJ Lee, wailing with lefts and rights, as the Albany crowd began to get behind the 'Anti-Diva', when eventually she was dragged off of the Divas Champion by two officials. AJ Lee fled the ring, the Divas Champion knowing that she had started something, with a very hungry Paige looking for redemption.
#MainEvent WWE MAIN EVENT - Tuesday 6th May 2014 - Buffalo, NY (#84) LIVE on the WWE Network!
ALEXANDER RUSEV def. SANTINO MARELLA - Following the events of Monday Night RAW, Santino Marella had another opportunity to take on the Russian advocate Alexander Rusev tonight, as Lana and Emma respectively supported their man. Marella attempted to bring out the Cobra early to cheers, but when he attempted to hit Rusev with it, the 'Bulgarian Brute' nailed the Italian with another big superkick, then quickly wrapping Santino up with the Accolade forcing Santino into submission in 1:12. n/a
The Bulgarian celebrated after the match to boos from the patriotic Buffalo crowd, Alexander Rusev then being joined in the ring by his new accomplice Lana, who held a microphone. Emma attended to an unconscious Santino Marella in the corner of the ring, as Lana began to address the Buffalo crowd, talking about how Rusev was going to take over the WWE one day in tribute to their hero, Vladimir Putin. Putin's face appeared on the big screen igniting loud boos, as Rusev and Lana continued to advocate for Mother Russia.
#SmackDown FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN - Friday 9th May 2014 - Buffalo, NY (#768) Taped: Tuesday 6th April 2014 - Broadcast on the SyFy Network
TAMINA SNUKA def. PAIGE - A rematch from last Sunday's number one contender's match between the two Divas, with the 'Anti-Diva' and the second-generation Samoan Fijian-American both having chips on their shoulders: Paige because she was humiliated by AJ Lee last Sunday in the Divas Championship which immediately followed the contenders' match - and Tamina because she felt she deserved the title shot more than Paige. Snuka immediately started off with some power moves, maintaining her dominance and ragdolling the newcomer around - but Paige soon mounted a comeback, and was on the verge to locking in the Scorpion Crosslock on Tamina: but AJ Lee skipped down to the ring to boos, distracting Paige and setting up for a big superkick from Tamina Snuka - followed up by the Superfly Splash for the win in 5:13. *3/4
Tamina Snuka celebrated her win dominantly, as AJ Lee then climbed into the ring, the Divas Champion attempting to wrap her arms around her former friend Tamina with an embracing hug - but as Snuka received the hug her facial expression remained the same - and as AJ tried to pull away, Tamina roped her in for a big super kick for the Divas Champion! Bad blood had not been forgotten between Tamina and AJ, and it seemed like Snuka wanted in on the hunt for AJ's title as well.
