Jax looks good. I probably would've picked one up, but my TRU only had Clay (about 8 of him).

I'll probably pick up Clay when I see him but Jax was must have for my collection so I ordered him online. Thanks for the heads up on that.

Never got into that show. Who makes them Neca? If so next time please use the official Neca thread. I will leave this here for now. Anyway the figures look good.

The Jax figure looks cool although I don't really care for the Jesse figure (and I love the show).
I am kinda curious, would people be able to use their heads for a wrestling custom?

They are styled pretty similar to a NECA figure. The SOA figures have a tiny bit of articulation but the Breaking Bad figures are pretty much figure sized statues.

So the heads are connected/glued to the body like they are all one piece. The Jax looks like it would reasonably work on a Mattel body but I'm just guessing.

Off topic but does anyone else really hate having so many sticky threads? I never visit the Neca/Mezco thread but love seeing their figures. I have to remember what page the TMNT thread was on so I'm not re reading stuff. It's pretty irritating. Especially for a low traffic board. Just my two cents.
I'm not into SOA but I have the same Breaking Bad Figures. I'm not sold on Jesse's headsculpt or paintjob. I can't put a finger on which one it is. They still display nicely.

I personally think it's more the paint job on the face. The sculpt itself doesn't seem that bad to me. The paint job seems oddly flat, especially the beard and the hair. There isn't much texture or shading to it so it looks almost cartoony, especially compared to the WW.

Jax looks decent here, and Jesse doesn't look great, which is the opposite of how the protos looked. With some sweet Opie and Gemma figures coming, I might jump on Jax eventually.

You'd think Mezco would follow suit like Neca and McFarlane and add more and more articulation by this point, but no.

I got Jax at TRU last night. Pretty good figure. The lack of leg articulation is a real let down, though. The head on Clay looks really bad, and I read that Opie and Gemma are online exclusives only and will not be in stores.
Between the dicey heads, lack of articulation, and limited characters that they are going to make....I'd say the Sons of Anarchy figure line is pretty much a dead duck.
If they'd given them leg articulation and put out more characters in stores this line could have so much potential.

I know that Opie and Gemma are getting online exclusives but I didn't know that they were going to be online only altogether. Gemma is bloody and comes with the big fork thing and Opie has the beanie on in his exclusive. I figured the regular versions would hit like normal though, so Gemma with no blood and Opie with no hat.

I still wish they would have given them leg articulation. Imagine if you could have done 2-packs that come with a character and his bike and you could actually put the figure on the bike? That would have been awesome. As much as I like the Jax I got yesterday, it really can only just stand there, lol.

Jax on the Dyna is really the dream figure for me. I don't think Mezco was the right company for the job unfortunately. I'm glad we have the Jax that we do, and it turned out way better than I thought it was going to originally, but there is obviously something left to be desired.

For whatever reason, my Jax doesn't have the President and Men of Mayhem patches. I didn't really think anything of it but my Entertainment Earth exclusive came last night and it was on that figure. So I just ordered another regular Jax to see if the patches would be on there. I guess we'll see. Kind of a weird thing but oh well.

I combined these two threads. Never watched the show, but the figures look pretty good.
