God damn people are stupid in this world.. -_- I see and hear stupidity everywhere. No place/site I visit is exempt. Well, apparently enough people here believed the stories that the joy killer powers-that-be stepped in and said we weren't allowed to talk about Kayfabe News. You just mentioned that people would much rather be PC and not PC at all. Satire websites exist for a reason. When I first discovered The Onion, it gave me some comedy relief and their stories are just out of this world. Kayfabe News is like that. It is a breath of fresh air and reading stories that we know is 100% fake. |

Kayfabe News articles should be banned here Any reason why? You can blame it on those who are jaded enough to think those articles are 100% legit. If people want to read legit news, go to the Figure Four Weekly, PW Torch, and even the Wrestling Observer. Like The Onion, Kayfabe News makes up random stories, adds their own unique spin to their own articles. I enjoy reading interesting things on the internet. Seems as if the majority of people who visit message forums (WF is no exception) are jaded, narrow minded people. People back in the old AOL chatrooms were just as jaded as their modern day counterparts. It is a matter of how people view and think in life. Shawn Michaels said it best, "If you see and read it on the internet, it must be true." Of course, he was making a wise ass, sarcastic remark. I am part of another community (it shall remain nameless). What I've seen over the last five to six years is people there take rumors as 100% fact. When those rumors ended up being not true, people get so defensive when they are told the truth. Something I see here as well. I tend to gravitate to doing more research on the topics I like, gain the knowledge, and help others out. Nowadays, people want to be all politically correct, stick to their guns, and act 100% jaded. |
