This is where RSC goes WHOOPS! That was a huge tease... Not cool. And now I'm not excited for this Hogan  Yup, I don't understand why, other than budget(from the other figures in the set) that they'd make an elite modern Hogan. Imo, modern Hogan should be restricted to basics for the same reason Khali is only a basic figure, he doesn't actively compete, and the only thing he's done since he's come back was schill for the network and botch the Superdome name. Why would I (or most collectors) want a more detailed/articulated version of that part of his career? I'm sorry if that sounded harsh, and to me it's better than nothing. I'll still buy it for the collection, but HSR would've been a hit. Completely agree. They should have given signature series hogan b44 Kane's legs and called it a day.... Now we'll get E34 hogan with b44 Kane legs and some weird molded on shirt likely with that same basic headsculpt and horrible sunglasses. Unless they plan to put Hogan in the line again within the next 3 sets, this was a waste of a slot for sure. Oh well... Out of my control |

Although I agree about this being the worst possible Hogan, something about his name and picture on an elite series box will make most buy it anyways. I am a pre 2001 roster collector who loves Hulk Hogan, but I don't want this one. Still, I was only expecting doink in this series so Hogan is a bonus and I think the set will mostly sell good so at retail we move on to E35 quickly fingers crossed (3 flashback set???)
Extra question: does this mean we will get a current sting elite too soon?

LOL at everybody thinking Hogan was a Flashback.
Doubt Mattel will release another Flashback Hogan until end of 2015 so that the Defining Moments Hogan will sell well.

Another green cena, another crappy Barrett and a current Hogan. That's a true waste of a slot IMO. I was already leaning towards not getting his current basic. Making it into an elite is just ridiculous. Can't imagine many kids or collectors having much interest in that one. Ill get Doink and possibly Paige if she comes with the title.
