This was a good set overall.
I remember getting The Barbarian, Giant Gonzales, Sycho Sid and X-Pac for Christmas 2007. Then, I randomly bought Ultimate Warrior at my local Toys"R"Us store in the middle of July 2008. Finally, I added Vince McMahon to my collection in late September 2008 from an online order, I believe.
The only reason I didn't buy The Warlord is because I wasn't eager to look for him in stores, and he was a little pricey at the time on Ringside Collectibles. Otherwise, I would have gladly purchased him to complete The Powers of Pain. Also, I never was much into the LJN chaser figures, but I liked the initial concept (only to be disappointed by the scale).
If I had to choose only one from this series, I would go with Giant Gonzales, followed by The Powers of Pain.
X-Pac was my most anticipated CS16 figure at the time, but the large arms and tall kickers ruined it for me. It wasn't even in the same league as CS11 1-2-3 Kid.
Sycho Sid was like the reverse X-Pac for me, because I wished he were taller. And I wished he had short, curly hair to truly capture the look of "Sycho" Sid from his second WWF run. If they weren't going to do that, they may as well have called him Sid Justice because that's what it was.
CS16 Vince looked more like a young Ronald Reagan than he did a young Vince McMahon, but the hokeyness of it all didn't really bother me. What bothers me now about this figure is the cheap quality plastic/rubber jackets that were used on later Jakks figures. I've had the most trouble with this figure, RA28 Vince McMahon, CS17 Repo Man, CS14 "Mean" Gene Okerlund and CS14 Demolition's helmets. There may be others that I'm forgetting, but I know for a fact that these have started breaking down/melting while kept in storage.
Edit: Oops, I didn't check to see it was bumped on the last page. Sorry about that. I never got to cast my Giant Gonzales vote.
