the size of mattel's head seems to be hall over the place lately. the elite uso's have tiny heads, the tru jr baf cm punk has a huge head. and some of these figures have tiny head syndrome. if all the heads were tiny across the board, it's no biggie...but the variance is annoying i saw a pic of the Rocky Maivia figure next to e16 Rock......and the head size difference was crazy.

If the Hogan Elite in E34 is 2014 Hogan (as MDT has stated) won't it be the exact same as this Basic?
Who am I kidding, I'll still buy them both.....

That Ambrose headscan is awful. The hair is too out of the ordinary. Hogan is spot on
I'll still be getting Ambrose just for a current one and easily will be purchasing hogan

Are Hogan's glasses and bandana removable or are they molded onto the head sculpt? Seems weird, if they're removable, that Mattel would include accessories with a Basic figure.
Ambrose is just one of those people that doesn't scan well. I'll wait till I see more pics of the new head, but right now it looks bad. I would only be getting it to update my Elite fixup, though, anyway.

Good set but not sure how interested I am in getting any of them. The Ambrose headsculpt looks awful -- his refusal to accept his hairline means his head will always look pretty bad in figures, same as Macho Man. But I think I'll wait for the elite version, or at least a better basic. Hogan I might get, but if it's just a basic version of elite 34, then I'll get the elite. Bryan is just BOPPV WM30 as a basic, right? So I'll get the elite instead. Batista and Bray Wyatt are definite gets, actually. Cena, I'll wait for the elite of it. Are Hogan's glasses and bandana removable or are they molded onto the head sculpt? Seems weird, if they're removable, that Mattel would include accessories with a Basic figure. A few Macho Man and Rock basic figures have had sunglasses before, so the glasses at least will be removable. Bandana looks like it's separate to the headsculpt too.

I'd think maybe a cloth shirt - but they said Cena's getting a cloth shirt, and they haven't been doing TWO cloth shirts in a set, so I have to wonder.....

Realizing I will get horribly flamed for this... What is a "Signature Series"? I remember when Jakks had the BCA figures with the autographs on their legs, but is this just a fancy word for the basic series? Is it at mass retail or exclusive to somewhere? (Yes, I'm asking for serious)

useless set if we get the same hogan as the elite.. bray is useless if you have the baf kane which is a lot better ambrose is cool but the face is weird. pants too baggy, the shirt is not perfect as well, i created 3 customs of him that looked much better. batista is only neccesary to make a Vinny custom to display it next to Cameron cena well he'll be worth 1$ someday. so he changed the colors of the gear, so what? not a reason to get him bryan is cool but the face painted in skin color problem strikes again. not my favorite attire, and we will get it in the baf line
overall complete waste. silly me for thinking to buy the complete set when i heard the lineups. i didnt know about the baf kane set. sorry for being a hater , i just hate basics, and trying to have 1 elite fig per worker

Ambrose does look a bit strange but will more than likely look better in person. I hated the E31 headscan when I saw pics of it but looking at the figure now, it looks great. If anything, its the jeans that could do with a bit of a change since they look so loose.
Also, if the beard was taken off Batista, that head would look like Charlie Runkle from Californication.

Have to say that Ambrose could use some improvement in the face although I do like the attempt at the hair covering the face which I have been waiting forever for an flashback Undertaker with hair completely over his face. I was starting to think that sculpting hair over the face was impossible for Mattel to execute.
