Source: WrestleZoneThe Great Khali is no longer featured on WWE.com’s list of active roster members, and his profile can be found in the WWE Alumni section. The 7-foot giant did not accompany the roster on the recent European tour after being at almost every WWE Live event in September and October, and has only made a handful of appearances on television in 2014. While the company has not made an official announcement, this would seem to indicate that WWE has come to terms on the release of the Great Khali. Khali (real name Dalip Singh Rana) is currently 42-years-old, and began his wrestling career in 2000 with All Pro Wrestling. After a brief stint with New Japan Pro Wrestling, he signed a developmental contract with Deep South Wrestling in 2006, and was brought to the WWE Smackdown on the first episode after WrestleMania 22. Within his first month on television, Khali squashed then-World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio, and defeated the Undertaker on PPV.

He's easily the most useless and worst wrestler to ever be in the WWE he looked incredibly awkward and he just sucked so bad.

Sucks to see anyone lose their job. That being said, he was really just a wasted roster spot and I'm sure he's more than made enough money in his career.

Sad if true. I wasn't a fan, but I respect his contribution to the company.

There has never been, nor will there ever be a worse guy to put the belt on than Khali. Waste of money, waste of a roster spot. This is LONG overdue.

As usual I am in the opposite camp of the teenagers here. Yeah he was never a Daniel Bryan...Lord does everyone have to be? He was an attraction. Like Gonzalez used to be. The WWE needs it's giants too.

When I saw the Longest Yard in theaters I whispered to my friend the WWE needed to sign that guy immediately. Once they did, I quickly realized I'm full of s**t sometimes. Swing and a miss!

aww, poop. Evil Khali kept my interest when I was younger. Made a point of hunting down his Summerslam heritage figure which would actually become my first Mattel figure. don't get me wrong, he sucks. hahahahaha

I can't honestly say I will miss him, but I hope he earned enough money to live comfortably.

I wanted an Elite figure of him but that was my only use for him.

The WWE needs it's giants too. Yeah, not everybody needs to be 5'8" and a technical wizard to be entertaining. Variety is the spice of life. Nothing wrong with having some big bad monsters on the roster.

Sure, he couldn't wrestle, but he was pretty badass the first couple years. After that it was just a snooze fest.
They had their fun with him and now it's done.
