How do I use sealer? I always end up with white chunks on my finished product. . It is a little bottle of DecoArt Multi Purpose Sealer

Well, dip your brush in the bottle. Then, scrape the brush against the edge of the bottle; sealant is like paint...too much, and something will go wrong.
After you scrape the brush against the side of the bottle, use that same side to apply the sealer.

I used to use a spray on sealer, but I would immagine if you mixed it with a little water and dry brushed it on in a couple of coats it would work better.
Like AF said it will flow the same as paint, so the same way you don't want one thick coats of paint you don't want one thick coat of sealer. Go for a couple of layers.
