I wonder if it was strategy to release the elite Rusev before the battle pack Rusev. I cud see more ppl buying the battle pack and seeing no need for the Elite. So instead they'll have ppl buying the elite and then having to buy the battle pack for Lana. So when do you think we'll see her?

I don't think there would be any problem moving the elite if it were to come out after a BP. Outside of the typical offenders, elites really don't warm all that bad in the grand scheme of things... it would also be his first elite and he's been getting a mega push the whole time.

Mattel needs to have a business strategy with this and so it probably goes something like this:
Release a basic and elite Rusev first. People will buy it just to have Rusev. I know for me personally I'm going to have a rather hard time passing up an elite Rusev should I see one in stores. Then, after everyone has their basic or elite Rusev (basic for the kids, elite for collectors) the battle pack comes out and boom, people need to buy another Rusev figure so they can have Lana as well. Spoiler alert though: Lana will probably, eventually, be released by herself as well once everyone gets the battle pack and has two Rusevs so then they can see Lana by herself and be like, "Awww man, c'mon man..."
For me, I'll probably end up getting the elite Rusev if I see him in stores, and then get the battle pack for Lana because I don't mind having an elite and a basic Rusev.

Well, given that Lana is the only reason I care about Rusev, I won't be buying a Rusev until I have Lana. If they would just put out some Pitch Perfect figures I could avoid this mess altogether.
