I have no idea where the story broke or anything, all I know is that Twitter is blowing up with the rumor that Sting is headed to Survivor Series this Sunday. It's like the third trending topic. Anyone expect to see him show up?

I guess we do have the same mind, just posted it in the spoiler board. PWInsider is reporting it as WWE trying to get more subscribers. It's definitely something I could see happening.

I'll believe it when I see it. Pretty much. I'm for it, but until I see him on my screen, that's pretty much my opinion and reaction.

Well at least unlike then we know he's under contract so it's not like it's shooting at fish in a barrel. Not a matter of if, more of when. At least to me.

This... Source: PW Insider ElitePWInsider has confirmed with multiple sources that Sting is scheduled to appear at Sunday's WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. As of now, Sting is only scheduled for the pay-per-view and not this week's TV tapings.

I hope to god Team Authority takes out Rowan backstage and Sting is the 5th member for Team Cena, that would be freakin awesome.

Yeah this is getting pretty heavy. I'll mark out if Stong finally appears in WWE. I have off work so I'm now even more excited for SSeries. (I just hope Ryback isn't written out of the main event )

Feels like a waste to have him debut SS.

This f*ckin "Stong" sh*t...... Anyway I would LOVE to see Sting replacing Rowan and HHH adding Cesaro because he took out Rowan. Citing some loophole in the rules and leaving Cena's team at a 6 on 4 disadvantage. Or else coming out to screw Team Authority. Although saying that.....I don't want The Authority to end. Vince needs to screw Cena's team I reckon.

Surely they'd of had a cryptic or brief Promo Video to entice viewers and buys? While it is good for the shock factor, it makes no sense as the same amount of people will still be ordering the Network/PPV because as it stands, nobody has been told or given any idea about Sting being at Survivor Series. You'd of thought they would of at least given us a hint so that people would go and buy it.
Either way I would prefer it if he wasn't to be an actual Team Member, but was to come down at the end and make the difference, even if it means joining the Authority.

I guess they don't necessarily need to entice people to "buy" the PPV - most of us already have, by subscribing to the Network. They need to focus on making the PPV's eventful, so we feel like we've gotten our money's worth - and keep subscribing to the WWE Network - or, for those who have it "free" - hope they will find value in the "free" PPV and sign up for a subscription. I've felt for several months that they need more "surprises" on the PPV's, stuff that Didn't already happen on RAW - so that people join the Network - because they're afraid of missing something cool!

I've seen a lotta people complain about SS being a waste. I mean who else has ever had a big debut at Survivor Series *sarcasm*. The Undertaker!

Could be a planted leak though, in order to try and get new subscribers/renewals. Which if is the case, could end up backfiring as the majority would feel let down afterwards.
