As long as Jakks is still releasing a set or two per year, the future ain't looking any brighter.

Awesome, can't wait to see what's in store. Any chance of getting Low Ki? Is the UFC line officially dead? UFC is signed with Jakks until 2018 Really?? Are they exclusive to a different site? I can't find them anywhere but Ebay.

All I wanted was a Robbie E, and Jakks couldn't even do that. F Jakks!

Awesome, can't wait to see what's in store. Any chance of getting Low Ki? Just swap the Toybiz Senshi head onto a Rob Terry body, paint the legs black and that's pretty much what a Jakks figure of him would be. They can get a new television station to pick 'em up at the last moment; but they can't give the license to a company that would truly be on board to produce better merchandise? Jakks, as bad as it is, is the best company that a no-hoper license like TNA could hope for. If the TNA license was worth anything, Jakks would be pumping out a series every couple of months. Not repainting a Jeff Hardy a couple of times a year. Other toy companies don't have ten year old muscleman wrestler molds to use like Jakks do, and TNA isn't a license that's worth the expense of sculpting new bodies for. Awesome News!! I really hope they put out as many new faces as they can( EC3, Shaw, Wolves, Bro Mans, DJZ, Terrell, King, Spud n Low ki) but if they have to put repaints in at least make them in updated attire.(update head sculpts if possible) An updated headsculpt wouldn't be a repaint. You realise that Jan 1 2010 to Dec 31 2015 is six years, right? The five-year deals end Dec 31, 2014.

Sucks series 13 isn't out for awhile. I hope to see Taryn Terrell then Havok. But that probably will never happen

They actually announced the last sets of their run:
Spring 2015,
Jeff Hardy Velvet Sky Eric Young (DI 2 head, painted beard) Kurt Angle
Fall 2015,
James Storm (trunks) Aces and 8s Mr. Anderson Jeff Hardy Bobby Roode (long hair)
This is Jakks. I hate to tell people to give up, but please, give up. They couldn't possibly care less.

No offense, but no. I don't think this confirms anything. This set was announced months ago. In theory, they could have the set manufactured and completed in December for late December-Early January release and still not be breaching any contract because the set was already in production. Also, for those of you who remember, Jakks was liquidating their WWE inventory in January-February of 2010 after Mattel had already started releasing their first sets. This could be the case for TNA and Jakks as well. I will await true confirmation, which will likely never come because Jakks doesn't care about TNA figures.

www.bizjournals.com/losangeles/stories/2008/02/11/daily21.htmlJakks signed a 5 year deal...starting in 2010 (as Mattel signed the same 5 yr deal w/ WWE in 2010) They have TNA until Dec 31, 2015. them delaying DI 13 until next spring....is them just doing the bare minimum of fulfilling the contract. sorry bud. No new deal This isn't like a child who is zero years old for a year. Mattel would've ended this year had they not re-signed. Same with Jakks. Maybe they had a short extension, or maybe because the line didn't start until Summer of 2010 that it goes summer 2015, but it has been 5 years. 2010- first year 2011- second year 2012- third year 2013- fourth year 2014- fifth year Unlike if a child were born in 2010, Jakks had already fulfilled a year in 2010 rather than reaching a year like the kid. The article didn't mention anything about 2015 being the year. Anyway, outside if confusing time terminology, (because trust me, wording that took a bit of thinking to get it phrased right) we shouldn't be using the word if a Jakks e-mail because they have proven to be clueless over the past 3 or so years of people copying and pasting their responses here on the forum and then being dead wrong.

TNA Jakks figures suck. They all have the same body and HUGE heads. The best TNA figures were the Marvel ones. Some of them are even better than Mattel. The single carded T NA Kip James figure is a thousand times better than the Elite Billy Gunn. Bolds are not true. Some of the rest isnt either. Maybe Discovery puts some more pressure on TNA merchandising. Which includes the figures and we start to see figures more often. www.bizjournals.com/losangeles/stories/2008/02/11/daily21.htmlJakks signed a 5 year deal...starting in 2010 (as Mattel signed the same 5 yr deal w/ WWE in 2010) They have TNA until Dec 31, 2015. them delaying DI 13 until next spring....is them just doing the bare minimum of fulfilling the contract. sorry bud. I too dont see how this post shows they have inked a new deal or made an extension. it just says when the new set comes out. If jakks signed a 5year deal in 2010...
2010-11= 1year 2011-12= 2year 2012-13= 3year 2013-14= 4year 2014-15= 5th and final year

That first twelve months is the year. Only with kids do we have that anamoly of calling a 1 year and 11 month old child still only one. He's technically in his second year of existence. Jan 2010 to Dec 2010: 1 year Jan 2011 to Dec 2011: 2 year Jan 2012 to Dec 2012: 3 year Jan 2013 to Dec 2013: 4 year Jan 2014 to Dec 2014: 5 year Mattel had the Mattel license in 2010 as well, and it ended in 2014. Their new deal goes from 2015-2019.

I prefered the TNA ToyBiz figures. I hate the Deluxe bodies too. I will be happy tho if they bring out figures with the new World and X Division belts tho. Does TNA suppy Jakks with the money to make figures? or do Jakks make them and TNA get a prophet? Because if TNA weren't paying Jakks the money with there recent troubles I can understand but if its Jakks being crap then I wish TNA would just find a new manufacturer

Toybiz/Marvel TNA figures were the best. Good detail and realistic bodies as well as great articulation, look awesome in poses. Jakks needs to step up their game because some of the newer TNA figures have looked horrible.

You should've mentioned Buff Bagwell Aj Styles or 4 inch tall Shark Boy. 4/10 weak post

I have to add, the toybiz, figures were starting to look really impressive. Look at the proto of Hernandez he looks spot on to me!! Its a shame series 9 did not get released. Not to take any thing away from Mattel they are pumping out some quality figures, but in my opinion if your a person that like points of articulation for playing, posing or creating those toybiz were the shizznit, Mattel's would be steller if they would add more articulation. Take some articulation from the jakks ufc- articulation from marvel legends, and add some of that to the spot on likenesses from Mattel and that would be one hell of a figure.. Maybe should not go here but I look at when toybiz was done making marvel legends there quality was hot shizzle then, but when ( I think Mattel) took over or who ever, the quality of the legends went down the crapper that's why I feel for the TNA line there is so so much potential there if they would just put a little time into them ..my Christmas wish is for the TNA line to get picked up NY a new version of toy ,hey could call themselves toy biz 2.0 lol and pump out TNA figures with the real scan likeness, and the ( toy biz marvel legend) articulation with the price point of in between the old marvel legends and old TNA fig and I think it would be a hit anyway thanks for allowing me to share my thought let me know yours thanks and have a merry Christmas........

I have to be honest, i have been disappointed with the quality of the figures that have been released the last two years. The figures of the guys in long tights their legs look weird where the leg and hip joint meet, its looks like its not pushed in al the way. When the Jakks TNA figures first came out they were awesome, but now i feel Jakks is half-***ing it. I think TNA should sign a deal with a new company. Really wished TOYBIZ was still around and didn't stop making their figures. I found my old TNA figures in storge a while back. Wished they released the series with Hernandaz in it, so i could have completed my LAX tag team, And Brother Ray to complete Team 3D. So either Jakks steps it up, or TNA gets a new toy designer.
