Smarks when Punk left "F*ck you quitter! You are sh*t!" *Posts on reddit and other sites slandering him talking sh*t about him Podcast comes out. "Oh yeah, Punk was smart to leave. Punk is the best! WWE never treats him good" That is why I hate internet smarks thinking they know whats right about wrestling. I supported his decision to leave ever since it happened. It sucks that we will never see him in WWE again, but at least he's happy.

People disagreed then, people disagree now, you are confusing a difference of opinion with fickleness because you clumped everyone together into "lol internet smarks". True. So true. I wish I could like this even more. The only people who think they know everything but don't have a clue are the ones who lump everyone together.

Not a fan of Punk, frankly I've hated him since his ROH days but what he said here doesn't really surprise me. WWE, like the NFL, NHL, NBA and any professional sport organization has its dirty little secrets. Especially with favoritism and the health of its athletes. Doesn't make it right, and him blowing the whistle doesn't make me like him, but at least someone big is putting a face to at least the health issues. I don't care if they chose that life, and are paid big time, no one's life (or lack of life after wrestling) should be more important than the companies bottom line.

This has nothing to do with people "knowing what's right" and everything to do with people finding out Punk's side of the story. It went from taking his ball and go home because of how he was booked, to going home after WWE could have literally killed him with negligence. How you don't get this is just outstanding to me. What do mean I don't get this?

This has nothing to do with people "knowing what's right" and everything to do with people finding out Punk's side of the story. It went from taking his ball and go home because of how he was booked, to going home after WWE could have literally killed him with negligence. How you don't get this is just outstanding to me. What do mean I don't get this? How you don't understand how people can legitimately change their tune. It's not just because smarks "think they know everything," but rather it's the people that group everyone together that just make me shake my head. Yes, there were people insulting Punk because he left, because at that time they believed he was just pissed over the booking. It comes out that there was a lot more than meets the eye, and suddenly those people understand why he left. It has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with them being smarks. It has EVERYTHING to do with them hearing Punk's side of the story, and understanding maybe they were wrong to crucify him for walking out in the first place. You, instead of using logic to understand people's changing point of views, decide to group together anyone who hated him for walking out. It's generalizing, and honestly, a bit ignorant. It's outstanding how some people can generalize an entire group of people because of a few people changing their opinions. FYI, I'm not one of them. I supported him leaving then and do so now.

I will only say one thing here. I bought my ticket around this time last yr to WMXXX in hopes to see punk main event. after he left, I still went to mania & had an absolutely great time. I was just disappointed as punk was my absolute favorite on the roster. I still miss him & heavily wish for him to come back, but I'm finding a way to "deal with it" & still enjoy wwe for the entertainment that it is. glad we finally got punks side of the story atleast & got questions answered. although I hope he comes back oneday

I dont think anyone can hate Punk for leaving the way he did after listening to that podcast, everything he says in this gives his walk out validation. The fact that WWE fired him on his wedding day is disgraceful, let alone the incompetence of WWE doctors not treating serious injuries. I dont understand why a company would want to screw the guy who was the top asset along with Cena on sales and fan favorite and not give him the right treatment, healthcare and rest he needs, thats disgusting wherever you are on the card. maybe that's why Daniel Bryan got so banged up, lack of treatment by staff and the fact that he was wrestling two matches every RAW for a few months as well as Smackdown and WWELive shows. They wonder why no one other than Cena can sustain the top spot, because they completely burn everybody else out and then play it safe by turning to Cena. Punk not being in the main event at Wrestlemania is shambolic on behalf of the WWE and I dont blame Punk for sticking his finger up at he chance to facing HHH at WM30 by coming out of retirement just to take him down a peg or two.

This 100%. Punk was given a 400+ day title reign. Some guys never come close to holding the title, and some guys who do only last a few days to a couple weeks. Listening to Punk complain and say his WWE career was a failure immediately makes me think of Christian's interview on Talk is Jericho a few months back. Jericho brings up the fact that the WWE was blasted by fans for taking the title away from Christian after a few days, and Christian has nothing but great things to say about it. He says he was honored to simply compete for the title, and winning it, no matter how short it was, was an amazing accomplishment for him. Christian probably wanted to say more but he's still with the company so I doubt he's gonna say how he really felt about having to drop the title technically 2 days after winning it Christian has always come off as a humbled guy in his interviews. He has openly admitted he knows edge was a bigger star than him and is fine with it. While I'm sure he has atleast slight Ill will towards his main event treatment, I don't think he upset over it. He comes off as an honest guy and seemed genuine in his interview with jericho.

Christian is great. I wish he could have won the title before he left.
I can't hate Punk anymore. It was stupid to in the first place. Thanks for all the memories Punk. I still got your figures at least haha.

This is just one side of the story. While I don't doubt a lot of what punk is saying, a lot of it could be exaggerations of the truth. Punk is a very self-indulged person who holds himself above every other performer. I have a strong feeling that punk wasn't the easiest person to work with either.

After those 2 instances anything can happen. Punk will be back some day. They all come back.

Oh i dont doubt that one bit, i know its one sided but we have seen before wrestlers complain of some of the things he has said. And yeah we know he can be a difficult person and even he admits that in the podcast lol, there's always going to be a two sides to every story but I'd take a jobless happy CM punk view on what went down over a corporate response by HHH or Vince for obvious reasons, they have to protect their company whereas punk can speak almost freely as he wants

Lol at people jumping back on the punk bandwagon... life isn't perfect, and you can't always get what you want! This dude headlined so many shows! Went to Mania as the champ, wrestled Taker at mania, was the longest reigning champ.in recent history and much much more. .. he isn't happy until he gets everything. ..how many good workers have come through WWE and haven't even got a quater of what he got? This dude is am ego maniac. There is WWE'S story and there is punks story...and in the middle there is the truth. This guy lived his dream and he is still bitching... what about all the guys who bust their asses and never get put over at all? I could go on and on..

I think something else to take from this is that I'd say Colt Cabana now pretty much has zero shot at getting hired by WWE again.

At least not any time soon. Nearly everyone who has buried the hatchet with WWE, did it because of Triple H. After listening to the podcast, it doesn't sound like Hunter likes Punk at all, which makes me think Punk will not be back. Like I said though, I'd love to see Punk in a WWE ring again someday. Even if it's just for a short run, I don't think his career should just end abruptly like it did.

While I feel sorry for him for working while he was sick and injured but if he honestly thinks he was gonna be treated like royalty after that "Pipebomb" segment he had on Raw then he must be crazy.
I always felt like CM Punk had this conceited type of Attitude anyways.
