Man those count downs are hella unnecessary. Man, so is the way you spell "the Jason Williams". To be fair, to use that as an argument my name would have to be "†hê Jå§ðñ Wïllïåm§" 28 times in a row.

With the Royal Rumble being one of my favorite PPV's I was hoping this would be good, and you didn't fail to make it good. I'm glad New Day got their first 6 man tag PPV victory. If this really is the end of Rose's alliance with Kidd and Cesaro, then I won't mind it because I think Rose should be a singles competitor. Ascension going over The Outlaws was what I expected and needed for them, especially with how they were embarrassed by the NWO, APA, and Outlaws on Raw Reunion. Didn't really care much for the Tag title match since we've seen these two teams compete against each other more than necessary, but I'm glad that The Usos retained instead of making their 2nd tag title reign, a month long reign. Paige and Natalya beating the Bellas was a good choice, since it makes Paige and Natalya 2 possible challengers for the Divas title in the future. The triple threat title match was good(just like the real one), and to me it didn't matter who won because the possibility of Rumble winners made sense for Cena, Rollins, or Lesnar to face. Now for the Royal Rumble match(love the countdown gif by the way). I found it weird how the graphic for the Royal Rumble match featured only 19 superstars, but I guess you didn't want to spoil the returns by putting them in the graphic. Also found it weird how Xaiver Woods was the only New Day member NOT in the Rumble match, but I guess it wasn't much of a loss. I enjoyed this Royal Rumble more than the actual one and I wish WWE actually did it like this. I'm glad the ring got up to 9 people people in the ring halfway through. I hope Rusev eliminating The Rock results in something more between these two for the future. Rusev's overall dominance and longevity in this match makes him a bigger target for when someone finally beats him. in No Rumble spot from Kofi seemed strange, but oh well. Luke Harper at #30 was surprising, but didn't do much for him, especially since he didn't eliminate anyone or last a while. I hope Jericho and RVD's appearances in the Royal Rumble weren't one offs and meant that they are returning to regular competition. Having Roman Reigns eliminate Daniel Bryan is just asking for him to get heat from the crowd, and I wonder if that's what you wanted. Randy Orton winning the Royal Rumble was very surprising and I expect he'll have hell to pay with Roman Reigns on Raw. Wrestlemania 31's main event is setting up to be Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar for the 1st time ever, unless Lesnar defends the WWE title at Fast Lane and loses it. The Road to Wrestlemania gets a great start coming off this Royal Rumble PPV.

WWE Royal Rumble: Sunday 25th January 2015…Alright, nifty graphics for this one, I really like the look of the retro Rumble logos and the graphics remind me of Tetris a little with the colour bars. The Ascension opening up the show was nice, defeating the New Age Outlaws pretty quickly as well. I wouldn’t mind seeing Konnor and Viktor making a point of going through some “legendary tag teams” (of New Age Outlaws’ level) through say, the Headbangers, Too Cool…the Dudley Boyz? Just a thought. A one-time comeback would be nice to see for some of those pairs. The Usos defeating The Miz and Damien Mizdow made sense, as Jimmy and Jey need those WWE Tag Team Championships for the road to WrestleMania 31, whereas Miz and Mizdow could perhaps split off at some point in the near future. Ew, David Guetta. Paige and Natalya defeating the Bella Twins was fine I suppose. I would have preferred seeing Nikki and Brie win though. Their storyline so far has been all Paige and Natalya really, the Bellas (including the Divas Champion on that team) haven’t really been given much notice. Additionally, the ‘challenger pins champion in non-title action’ routine really bugs me. It’s incredibly lazy booking, I feel. Hopefully you cut back on that because it’s been happening on RAW every week for all of the past year! Just food for thought in the future. Also, please finally explain why Brie re-sided with Nikki...it's been three months now. I have no doubt that Seth Rollins, John Cena and Brock Lesnar put on an excellent show here, and I’m glad that Brock Lesnar managed to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Now who wins this Royal Rumble match will be incredibly interesting. I dig these graphics, I have to say. They may make the post look longer than it should, but that’s fine by me. Just be careful with the bandwidth in a few months or years otherwise looking back and reading this diary with broken pictures will be confusing to read. Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and then Dean Ambrose in the first three numbers? Man, the Authority must be fixing this Rumble match. I am glad to see you brought back Bo Dallas when he should have. Glad about this. You made an interesting decision with the Miz and Damien Mizdow getting eliminated at the same time. A split is only bound to happen very shortly. Ah sweet, X-Pac returned. Sounded like a good run…could we see the Ascension face X-Pac and Kevin Nash or another WWE Legend? Now that would be something. I wouldn’t mind seeing him compete one last time. Especially putting over Konnor and Viktor who could use some prestigious wins to get over. Chris Jericho returns…okay. It’s been done before, so this decision didn’t really surprise me. Rob Van Dam being back is also nice to see, hopefully you have a long-term plan for RVD should he be back for longer than just this match tonight. Oh wow, the Rock returned in the actual match too? Huh. I wonder if you have a final run planned out for him…maybe against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania? Sheamus returning to the Rumble too is nice, although he isn’t properly healed yet is he? The Rumble match is like Sheamus’ specialty it seems. Rusev eliminated The Rock? Hmmm…I wouldn’t mind seeing Bad News Barrett join the Authority, by the way. It would give him something extra to do, for sure. Wow, so Randy Orton wins the Royal Rumble this year. It’s different, but I like it. But I have to wonder what happens to Orton’s brewing rivalry with Seth Rollins…unless Rollins cashes in the Money in the Bank briefcase between now and WrestleMania? But Lesnar does hold more star power for a main event spot with Orton. Plus, Orton and Lesnar have never met before to my recollection. Meanwhile, I am curious where you go with Roman Reigns. Could we see Reigns against The Rock in a Samoan dream match? Maybe Reigns against John Cena this year in hopes of getting Reigns finally over. I do think Roman has the abilities to get to the main event, just not now. Maybe in the summer? Your WrestleMania card will be incredibly interesting to read. Not a bad base show, now to get to the WrestleMania hype!

I chose to start off after the Rumble and roll with what WWE did (for better or for worse), so curious as to what you change. I assume Bryan will win RR but hopefully I'm wrong.
Ascension suck but understand why they'd win. Thought maybe you'd give Miz/Mizdow the belts...curious how you play them from here on out. Paige getting the pin makes sense to set up a title match. Fair to just leave the WWE Title match as-is, it was perfect.
Sweet Rumble graphics! Damn this match must have taken you ages to write. I like that you did something with Miz/Mizdow; what they did in real life was lame. Interesting Reigns came out early. Nice surprise with Jericho, I thought there was a chance in real life. Ditto to RVD. Wow didn't see Rock coming at all. I didn't like how Rock entered and lost, and especially didn't make the final 7. Too unrealistic for my liking (although if you do Rusev/Rock at Mania then I understand a little more). Wow, great twist with Orton winning. Orton/Brock is a great match that they will miss out on.
Overall solid show. Glad you left the title match the same. Only gripe was Rock being tossed out like he's any other guy. Orton/Brock should be sweet though.

January 26, 2015_________________________________________ The Road to WrestleMania has begun! Michael Cole, JBL and Hall of Famer Booker T welcome us to tonight's show live from Hartford! We're only 24 hours removed from one of the biggest night's in WWE history - the Royal Rumble - which saw Randy Orton return and claim victory in the 30-man melee for the second time in his career.
Before long we're interrupted by the theme music of Roman Reigns, who enters to a mixed reaction. The crowd all turn in unison to spy the Big Dog emerging from the upper tiers of the arena and make his way to the ring. Reigns does not look happy as he passes by the commentary team and takes a mic for himself into the ring - he has something to say regarding last night's events. Reigns quickly remarks that he should be the one heading to WrestleMania to face Brock Lesnar as the premier event's logo hangs from the rafters, cleverly in shot behind Reigns. The former Shield member argues that Randy Orton was not medically able to compete and was receiving treatment outside the ring and outside the Rumble match before he slithered back in and stole the win. Now, he wants Orton to face him like a man. He wants another shot at becoming Number One Contender.
However instead of the Viper, Reigns is greeted by the man who he seemingly eliminated last to win the Royal Rumble - Daniel Bryan. A deafening chorus of "YES!" chants booms through the building as Bryan makes his way to the ring. Bryan counters that Reigns lost the Rumble, but if we're going to split hairs then there is nobody more deserving of a title shot than Daniel Bryan. After all, Bryan never lost the title last year and has never received his rematch. Bryan asks the WWE Universe whether they want to see Daniel Bryan kick Brock Lesnar in the head at WrestleMania and once again become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.. you know how they reacted.
We're interrupted once again, and this time it is Randy Orton who makes his way out to the ring. A brave move considering he cheated these guys to win the Royal Rumble last night. Orton explains himself with that all important rule - rule #1 for the Rumble match - "it's 30 men in one ring, and it's every man for themselves".. Orton doesn't compete to please Daniel Bryan or Roman Reigns, not even the fans and or the office, but he does whatever he can to win and to be number one. And that's what he is right now. Orton challenges Bryan and Reigns that if they want to go to WrestleMania they'll have to get through him first. Reigns reminds Orton that it was his Spear that took him out of the Rumble and he'll have no problem breaking his ribs next time..
Before things get ugly we are "treated" to the arrival of WWE COO Triple H. From the safety of the stage the King of Kings issues his views on the situation. And he can sympathise with all angles. Yes, he agrees it was a deceptive way to win the Royal Rumble, but it's every man for themselves. Reigns wants the title shot, but the fact is both his feet touched the floor last night and Orton's didn't. Bryan never lost the title but he didn't stay 100% and he wasn't up to the challenge of being champion. Triple H declares that he will consult with the board and decide what is best for business in regards to WrestleMania and the WWE World Heavyweight Title. As for tonight, he's making three matches right now. Reigns and Bryan will go one-on-one with Superstars they eliminated in the Royal Rumble last night. Reigns goes up against the Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett whilst Bryan will square off with Luke Harper. As for Orton.. tonight he will compete in our main event.. in a tag team match.. with John Cena. They're going to face Seth Rollins and the United States Champion Rusev!
The three in the ring look on at each other. War has been declared over the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Who will face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania? It seems we'll have an answer very soon. Daniel Bryan defeats Luke Harper via pinfall. As ordered by Triple H moments ago our opening contest sees Daniel Bryan against the deranged swamp man, Luke Harper. The much larger Superstar kept Bryan in tow early on as he overpowered him at almost every turn. We're used to seeing Bryan fighting the odds and he managed to turn tide in his favour. Bryan dodged a discus punch and dropkicked Harper face-first into the turnbuckles, allowing him the time to run up and deliver a decisive running knee to the face. Bryan gets the win and notches one on the board as far as credible title contenders go. The commentary team recap our opening segment. Triple H will make a decision on the WrestleMania title shot and who will challenge Brock Lesnar, as well as the matches made for tonight. They also discuss the Royal Rumble Fallout on the WWE Network last night where John Cena and Rusev clashed backstage and had to be separated by fellow WWE Superstars and officials. Backstage, we see Stephanie McMahon talking with Big Show and Kane and boy she is not happy. Steph bemoans their performances in the Royal Rumble last night and how they allowed people like Bryan, Reigns and Orton to even be in contention for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. They had one job to do and that was clean house. As a result their services will not be required tonight. They try to argue but they're asked to leave. Dean Ambrose comes into view and can't help but poke fun at the whimpering giants! The Miz and Damien Mizdow defeat The Usos via pinfall. A decent contest that we've been witness to before. This time we see the dastardly Miz "mastermind" a victory for his team against the WWE Tag Team Champions. After Jimmy seemingly injured his ankle coming off the top rope his concerned wife Naomi came to check on him. This left Jey all alone with the former Tag Team Champions. The referee, having been distracted by the injury debacle at ringside, misses Miz whacking his strategically placed Slammy Award round the temple of the remaining Uso. Not being the legal man Miz orders his reluctant partner to cover his opponent. Mizdow eventually does so but is far from okay with the tainted victory or the fact that his usually loyal fans were now booing him and his partner out of the building. Miz revels in the reaction (of course). A big win over the champions for Miz/Mizdow. Big E (with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) defeats Cesaro (with Tyson Kidd and Natalya) via pinfall. Cole reveals before the match that Big E was supposed to face Tyson Kidd here tonight but Cesaro stepped in and demanded the match instead. Big, powerful, hard-hitting action from both Superstars. Cesaro fails to gain revenge for the loss they suffered last night on the Royal Rumble pre-show and is pinned when Big E lays him out with the Big Ending. Rusev and Lana appear on screen somewhere backstage. Lana begins by reminding us all that last night Rusev was the most dominant man in the Royal Rumble match and eliminated more Superstars than any other man. His dominant performance obviously struck a nerve with John Cena, whos less than impressive performance lead to his failure to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Lana states that Rusev is ready any time for Cena should he make the foolish decision to step into the ring with him. Rusev begins talking and warns Cena that he is undefeated and will take great pleasure in adding his name to his list of victims. The commentary team discuss the start of the show as well as the matches made here tonight by WWE COO Triple H. Speaking of Triple H, it was announced early today via the WWE App. that he has given The Ascension the chance to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship - IF they can defeat four former Tag Team Champions. The Ascension defeat The Steiner Brothers via pinfall. With Konnor and Viktor waiting in the ring, the arena exploded when the familiar sirens blasted out, mixed in with the vicious dog barks, and the classic "Holla if ya hear me!" line associated with Rick and Scott Steiner. Making their first appearance as a team in WWE in over 20 years, Rick and Scott have slowed down a bit but are still more than capable of giving The Ascension a run for their money. The former six-time World Tag Team Champions give us a short 4 minute match. With Rick down, Scott resumes control and tries to nail the Frankensteiner on Viktor but is knocked from the top rope by Konnor. This leaves legal man Rick as easy prey and he is pinned with the Fall of Man. IN 24 hours they've knocked off the New Age Outlaws and now the Steiners. Who will be next up for The Ascension? We're backstage once again and Seth Rollins has just arrived to the arena with J&J Security. He's not long stepped out of his limousine when he is approcahed by Triple H, who informs him of tonight's main event. Rollins isn't happy because he's still carrying some knocks from last night's brutal WWE World Heavyweight Title match. He's soon charmed by the words of the COO. He tells Rollins that he's been "the guy" for nearly a year now and his performances and "services" to the WWE Universe in the last few months has been staggering. If Rollins were to put in another eye-opener tonight then perhaps Triple H would have the evaluate the title situation further.. and do what's best for business. Sheamus defeats Adam Rose via pinfall. After being out-of-action since early November, the Celtic Warrior made a triumphant return during the Royal Rumble match. Although he wasn't able to replicate his 2012 success, Sheamus gets the ball rolling with a victory here tonight against Adam Rose. Sheamus puts away his opponent with a stiff Brogue Kick that probably would have killed any normal man. Dolph Ziggler is seen heading down a corridor. We're told he's coming up next!
The Show-Off makes his way out following the break to a good reception from the Hartford crowd. Ziggler looks a little dejected having been persecuted for months by The Authority. Last night he was forced to enter at #1 in the Royal Rumble and clocked a respectable time before becoming one of Rusev's victims. Ziggler begins talking about growing up and watching WWE - Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, The Undertaker, Steve Austin, and all he wanted to do was be the same. He wanted to come out here and perform every night for the WWE Universe and send each and every one of them home happy. He wanted to be the one every talked about, the one that excites the audience, the Show-Off. But the endless pursuit by The Authority to ruin his career has left him feeling "empty" in the last few months. The whole thing left him questioning whether or not he wanted to be a WWE Superstar anymore. Then at the start of the year he was fired, and he sat home on his couch for a few weeks pondering his life. He admits The Authority broke him but he came realise, that no matter what, this has been his dream his entire life. And The Authority is never going to take it away from him. He's been in dark places and he fully expects to walk through them again in the future but Dolph Ziggler is a fighter and he will never let The Authority break him again. Because from this point on... Ziggler is interupted by the frightening intro we all know can only mean one thing... Bray Wyatt. The lights cut and the Universe is abuzz.. what's going on? They return and Wyatt attacks Ziggler from behind. He has no chance at fighting back. Shot after shot after shot to the head, Wyatt takes great pleasure in pummelling away at Ziggler. He puts him down with Sister Abigail. Wyatt watches as his victim lies motionless on the ground before kneeling down next to him, cradling his head and stroking his hair as he laughs manically. What is going on in Bray Wyatt's head? The commentary team recaps what happened moments ago when Bray Wyatt attacked Dolph Ziggler. During the break, we see that Ziggler has been taken to a local medical facility for treatment for a suspected concussion. Roman Reigns defeats Bad News Barrett via count-out. A decent match but probably not what Triple H was hoping for. Barrett's devastating blows can only keep Reigns at bay for so long before the Big Dog starts getting angry. Reigns looks to take out the Intercontinental Champion with a Spear but what Reigns has in braun Barrett has in brains, and he quickly makes his escape under the bottom rope. Barrett is counted is and Reigns is handed the win. Reigns looks on but it's not what he wanted from this match. He knows that only a decisive victory would make him look like a credible opponent for Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Nikki Bella (with Brie Bella) defeats Natalya via pinfall. The Bella Twins lost last night at the Royal Rumble to the pairing of Natalya and Paige. However, it wasn't Natalya that managed to pick up the win. Nikki displays champion-like tenacity to beat her opponent here with the Rack Attack after Brie provided the distraction.
Following the match Paige makes a most unwelcome appearance (at least in the eyes of the Bellas) with a huge smile on her face. Standing on the stage, she begins to ponder on why Brie, after being treated like garbage by her sister for months, would now be helping her keep her title. Why has Nikki never questioned it? However, Paige claims to know.. "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer.. right, Brie?" Paige leaves and you can cut the tension with a knife. Nikki looks on at her sister, the trust slowly fading away. Brie says she is lying and trying to drive a wedge between them but her pleas fall on deaf ears. John Cena and Randy Orton defeat Seth Rollins (with J&J Security) and Rusev (with Lana) via disqualification. Both Cena and Rollins are showing fatigue from last night's unsuccessful challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Brock Lesnar. A heated contest with both sides having history with each other, the finish saw Cena look to put Rollins away with the AA only for Mercury and Noble to hit the ring and attack. The referee calls for the disqualification as Cena quickly despatches of Rollin's minions. This allows Rollins to blindside Cena with this Money in the Bank briefcase. As Cena tumbles out of the ring, Orton is back in the thick of things and he trades blows with Rollins which sends him reeling. It's RKO time! Rusev makes the save and kicks Orton in the jaw before Rollins puts him down with the briefcase too. You can see the cogs turning in Rollins head as he looks at the briefcase, then Orton, then the briefcase again. Cole and Booker are calling for him to stop, for some sort of intervention. It doesn't happen and Rollins slides the briefcase under the head of Orton. He hits the ropes and delivers a sickening Curb Stomp to the viper.
Rollins stands over his victim as Triple H emerges from backstage, applauding "the Future". Has Rollins done enough to impress Triple H and change the course on the road to WrestleMania? Raw concludes with the COO raising the arms of Rusev and Rollins.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 26th January 2015…Okay, let’s go. Roman Reigns kicking off RAW was good, since he came close to winning the Royal Rumble last night. I guess that Reigns and Randy Orton could have a SummerSlam rematch at Fastlane perhaps? Or tonight, whichever comes first. Reigns calling Orton out came across really heelish and I think I like that twist to Reigns’ character. Daniel Bryan coming out instead was fun, although I was confused by all of these guys claiming a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31 when the Royal Rumble already happened. Are you purposely defeating the object here? Randy Orton finally coming out was good, and I’m glad you’re rolling with this because he won it fairly. It was strange for Triple H to appear neutral with this situation, and go with the average ‘authority figure interrupts, makes matches for segment recipients’ role. Nonetheless, it set up tonight. I suspect a triple threat match for the shot at Brock Lesnar will come at Fastlane…but will it mean anything or will you have a multi-man main event at WrestleMania for a second year in a row? That’s where the interesting questions lie. Daniel Bryan and Luke Harper would put on a solid David vs Goliath match, good win for Bryan to open up the show in terms of in-ring competition. I do hope you have a good plan lined up for Harper following WrestleMania at least. Harper needs some wins after sustaining a string of losses recently. I guess you’re running with another Big Show and Kane feud too. I just hope it doesn’t take a match slot out of WrestleMania for it, because it would suck the life out of the stadium. Dean Ambrose with the comedy angle was fun, though. The Miz and Damien Mizdow defeating the Usos…this is why being champions is the worst possible thing in WWE. The amount of times the challengers beat the champions in non-title action provoking a future title shot is ridiculous. Especially when it’s been WWE’s primary setup for RAW leading into pay-per-views for the last two years. I hope you add more layers to this feud. This looks like it will be their fourth Tag title collision? I’m also curious to see when you pull the trigger on Miz and Damien Sandow’s split. Big E defeating Cesaro made sense as this is the fallout from the Royal Rumble, and I’m not particularly expecting any undercard promotion for Fastlane to begin until SmackDown. Rusev and Lana’s angle set up their future match with John Cena. Very interested in seeing how you book this one differently to reality. Wait…the Steiner Brothers? In 2015? I don’t like the sound of that. Also because Scott Steiner’s en route to a lawsuit feud with TNA: I doubt WWE would bring him in for a one-off. I do like the Ascension wanting to go through legendary tag teams, but I don’t think the Steiners would have done them any good: Konnor and Viktor need alumnus to bump around for them, I feel. A team like Paul London and Brian Kendrick, Too Cool, etc. I suspect that a Dudley Boyz appearance will soon come into play which could be very spicy. Sheamus needed a win coming off of his failed Royal Rumble return last night. A win against Adam Rose is fine – I really hope you freshen up his character though. It’s so stale. I wonder what your plans for Rose as a character are, if any. With all due respect to your cool graphics, this is the fourth time I’ve seen the graphic for Roman Reigns and Wade Barrett and it’s too much. Reminding the viewers is good, but we don’t need to see the same graphic repeatedly. Text for a reminder would suffice nicely. Dolph Ziggler’s promo was interesting, although I’m really wondering where his character is headed outside of what could be a nice confrontation with Bray Wyatt. I’m gonna go on a limb and say that Wyatt will indeed be facing the Undertaker at WrestleMania. Roman Reigns defeating Bad News Barrett made ideal sense, and the count-out victory made it clear that you want to protect the Intercontinental Champion. Nikki Bella defeating Natalya was expected – as I suspected Paige is the next contender to the Divas Championship. Please somehow explain the Bellas’ recent re-association! It’s been two months and it wouldn’t be bad to hear why they are suddenly together again. Help their character motivation, their drive, etc. And finally, a nice tag team main event win for John Cena and Randy Orton against Seth Rollins and Rusev to set up for potential WrestleMania matches. There must have been some tense discussions between longtime rivals Cena and Orton, though. I could have gone without the disqualification finish in the main event of RAW as that card has been played too much by creative in recent months. Overall, this was a solid episode of RAW coming out of the Royal Rumble: my only gripe is that it didn’t do anything to put over Fastlane aside from the predictions for said card. That said, it’s true to WWE’s standards that nothing big for the next pay-per-view’s hype happens until next week’s edition of RAW or SmackDown this Thursday. Two things: try and break away from WWE’s normality booking. The non-title wins over champions impales the champions’ momentum. The disqualification finishes to RAW most weeks. Try and fix this up. Another thing, try and think outside of the box for more compelling rivalries than the aforementioned. Try and make rivalries more relatable to real life circumstances than “ME WANT TITLE” – that’s another WWE normality booking perspective. How WWE have booked Paige and Nikki Bella’s reality feud on RAW last week is a perfect example of how a title match could be so much more. Just a couple of suggestions from my end. Looking forward to seeing what your Fastlane card could wind up looking like.

After your interesting Royal Rumble, I have been looking forward to this. Right off the bat, this layout is fantastic. It's pretty and neat. I like opening the show with Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton. Orton as a face that's out for himself fits him. The matches set up sound good. Choosing Daniel Bryan vs. Luke Harper for the opener was wise as it would be red hot. Those graphics <3. Dean Ambrose came into view? Like in the Authority's office? Surprised to see Miz and Damien Mizdow win here. They are on the road to a breakup it seems, so I'm not sure about this. I feel like I would enjoy Big E vs. Cesaro. Hopefully you give the New Day some depth. Originally, I wasn't a fan of the John Cena/Rusev program but they've done well with it so I'm glad you're going that route. THE MOTHERFN STEINER BROTHERS! Cool surprise and I absolutely love the idea that the Ascension get a title shot if they can beat four former tag champions. Perfect. Also, you have potential for a fun tag division here. I like Triple H mentioning Seth Rollins for the world title picture. I love that it's wide open because it makes for intriguing TV. It's something that I loved about 1997, where you had Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Bret Hart, Steve Austin, Sid and Vader all vying for the top prize. Quick win for Sheamus is fine. Okay, you continue to intrigue me with the Bray Wyatt attack on Dolph Ziggler. Bad News Barrett getting himself counted out is something I like. He doesn't eat a pin and it brings a new level of interest since Roman couldn't get that decisive win. Nikki Bella winning works, but the best part was Paige bringing up the Brie Bella stuff. The "friends close, but enemies closer" line leads to me to believe that AJ Lee may return in a capacity that helps Paige. Maybe a Four Way at WrestleMania. The team of Rusev and Seth Rollins is a bit strange, but I think it worked well. I liked them standing tall and the Curb Stomp on the briefcase is always a good spot. Overall, a good show and the key is that you make me want to read what's next. That's the most important thing.

Kicking things off with the World title scenario. I see a Triple Threat on the horizon and perhaps a change in #1 Contender? I think you might change Orton due to the response and have Rollins cost him, or something along those lines. Obvious victory for Daniel Bryan. I'm a fan of Luke Harper, it's just so hard getting him into a relevant angle. Hopefully there's something in the pipeline. A big and surprising victory for Miz and Mizdow, didn't expect that. They're on the inevitable path to a split, but I wonder when it'll be. A nice victory for Big E over Cesaro, although I do prefer the Cesaro/Kidd teaming. Not a huge fan of seeing the Steiner Brothers in 2015. I think there are better teams for The Ascension to face in terms of nostalgia. I'm guessing they'll have a final "legend killer" match at Fastlane? Obvious victory for Sheamus here, he needs something desperately. A Bray Wyatt/Dolph Ziggler match set for Fastlane perhaps? A necessary victory for Roman Reigns here over the Intercontinental Champion. I'm wondering who Barrett's next challenger will be. Interesting situation with the Bellas. They've sucked since they mysteriously reunited so hopefully something comes of it. Huge tag team match to close the show, but DQ finishes (as hard as I know they are to avoid in some cases) are becoming really frequent. But the finish was necessary to further the story.

January 29, 2015_________________________________________ A video recaps Raw, which saw Triple H announce that a decision will be made regarding the Number One Contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan staked their claims, despite Randy Orton winning the Royal Rumble match just 24 hours earlier. Also, Seth Rollins and United States Champion Rusev faced off against Orton and his partner, John Cena. Rollins caused the disqualification by using his Money in the Bank briefcase to dismantle both men and earn yet more appraisal from the COO. Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and Jerry Lawler welcome us to the show. Tonight, we'll see a rematch from Raw as Roman Reigns once again meets the Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett. We'll also see the "Lunatic Fringe", Dean Ambrose, one-on-one with the Big Show. Rusev (with Lana) defeats R-Truth via submission. The unbeaten United States Champion starts us off with a decisive victory over poor R-Truth, who barely gets in any offence. Rusev tosses him around the ring like a rag doll and loves every second of it! With the approval of Lana he locks on the Accolade.. and that's all she wrote. Another win for The Super Athlete.
Following the match, Lana takes a microphone and foolishly waits for the torrent of boos to die down before she speaks. The Ravishing Russian directs her tirade towards John Cena. On Raw he was beaten down, just like they said would happen. She knows John Cena is not here tonight (he will address the WWE Universe later tonight from WWE HQ), and that is a good thing. Because if Cena were here tonight he would be beaten and embarrassed once again. Rusev chirps in that Cena thinks he is Superman. He is not... because Superman does not get squashed like an insect. Rusev warns Cena to stay away because he does not belong in the ring with him. Rusev then talks about the USA and how they do not recognise his dominant performance in the Royal Rumble because he supports the Russian Federation.
We hear the music of Randy Orton, and the Viper makes his way to the ring, his eyes not taken off Rusev. He slowly makes his way into the ring without saying a word. After a brief pause he uses the microphone in his hand to smack Rusev between the eyes with! The U.S Champion goes down and Orton coils, ready to strike with the RKO. However, Rusev rolls out of the ring before it can happen. Orton yells at Rusev that he doesn't want to mess with him, not happy with how things went down to close Raw. Lana holds Rusev back as he prepares to enter the ring to fight Orton. They leave to a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe. A video is shown of Mr. McMahon announcing that the WWE Network will be free to all subscribers in February! Gold and Stardust defeat Kofi Kingston and Big E (with Xavier Woods) via pinfall. The New Day have two consecutive victories to their name - a six-man tag team match on the Royal Rumble Pre-Show and with Big E in singles action on Raw. However, they would not continue that tonight on Smackdown. Stardust picks up the win with Cross Rhodes to Kofi. We see backstage Divas Champion Nikki Bella heading towards the ring. She is stopped by her sister Brie who asks why Nikki hasn't been returning her calls. Nikki shrugs her off and tells her she needs time to think. "She's lying!" Brie screams after her. Meanwhile, the instigator of their dissension Paige is also heading to the ring. Paige defeats Cameron via submission. Nikki Bella is on commentary for this one, dodging questions about her relationship with sister Brie. However, she does talk about Paige, and that she obviously is trying to get at her and her Divas Title. The match ends when Nikki gets on the apron for the distraction but Paige throws Cameron into her! The Anti-Diva then puts Cameron away with the PTO.
After the match, Paige grabs a mic and announces that earlier today she was told that at Fastlane, she will be challenging Nikki for her Divas Championship after she pinned her at the Royal Rumble. And at Fastlane, she will make sure that she leaves a 3-time Champion and both Bellas leave with nothing, and that includes a "sisterly relationship". Brie hits the ring and attacks Paige, beating her down and pummelling away, until putting her down with the Bella Buster. Nikki doesn't even acknowledge her sister, and walks around the ring and up the ramp. Brie kneels in the ring with tears streaming down her face. One comment from Paige has forced these two sisters apart. We see a promo from The Ascension as their entrance music plays in the background, lights flashing amongst the smoke they're standing in. They tout their victory of The Steiners on Raw as step one to becoming the greatest tag team in the history. Only three more teams stand in their way of a title shot, and they will all fall. Dean Ambrose defeats Big Show via pinfall. This match was made on Raw, and revealed on WWE.com that it was requested by Big Show. Both Show and Kane were given the night off on Monday by Stephanie McMahon, which Dean Ambrose found rather amusing. In an exclusive WWE.com interview this week, Show said that Ambrose is a trouble maker and The Authority do not tolerate trouble makers. He said on Thursday, he won't have the night off, he'll be beating some respect into Ambrose. Unfortunately, that's not how this one plays out. Ambrose targets the knees of Show and attempts to bring him down a level or two. However, Show uses his size to his advantage and overpowers Ambrose to the point where victory looks certain. Ambrose dodges a KO Punch, but runs straight into the Chokeslam! Show lifts him but Ambrose is struggling out of it. He lands on top of the giant with him trapped in a headlock. He brings him down the mat with a massive version of Dirty Deeds! 1-2-3 and it's all over. Ambrose has stuck it to The Authority once again! A video recaps Bray Wyatt's unprovoked attack on Dolph Ziggler on Raw, with Ziggler suffering a suspected concussion.. The show opens back with what is obviously Bray Wyatt pacing around in a darkened room laughing to himself. Wyatt talks about being a liar... about being human. It's human nature to deceive and to stab others in the back. It's also human nature to fear, and to run from fear. People have him all wrong... they portray him as villain when he is a saviour... a release... a way out of the pain and suffering of this miserable world. There's one question burning inside everyone tonight... Why did he attack Dolph Ziggler? Because he is the release.. the way out for Dolph. His suffering will end at his hands. Wyatt say he can end Dolph's self-pity.. "Come towards the light, Dolph.. hahaha. Follow me!" Backstage, we see Triple H alongside the Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett. The COO warns Barrett that he was not happy to see him run out on his match with Roman Reigns this past Monday on Raw. He was expecting a big victory from him, and he does so again tonight. If Barrett chooses to run, he will have to strip him of his title. Luke Harper defeats Sin Cara via pinfall. A quick contest here. Harper bounces back from the loss to Daniel Bryan on Raw. We see a lot of high-flying action from Sin Cara including a plancha that takes out the deranged swamp-dwelling Harper. Sin Cara attempted a tilt-a-whirl headscissors but Harper launched him away, and followed up with the Discus Punch for the victory. A video recaps the start of the evening. Rusev and Lana trash-talked John Cena until they were interrupted by the attacking Randy Orton.. We're taken live to WWE HQ where John Cena is sat ready to talk to Michae Cole. Cena says he's doing PR work but wanted to take the time to address Seth Rollins and Rusev. After what happened on Monday Cena can't let either man get away with what they did. He's dealt with Rollins before and will do so again, but it's Rusev that's really playing on his mind right now. Cena says he's done everything in WWE and more, but he hasn't beaten Rusev.. nobody has. And no matter how times Rusev warns him not to step in the ring with him, that's only going to make him want it more. Cena challenges Rusev to a one-on-one match at Fastlane, and says he'll be at Raw on Monday for his answer.
We switch to backstage in the arena where Renee Young is standing by with Daniel Bryan. Renee mentions that Bryan won his match on Monday on Raw by pinning his opponent, whereas Roman Reigns didn't. Does this affect the WrestleMania situation? Bryan says it shouldn't but it does. He doesn't trust Triple H to make the right decision and neither does Reigns. Winners are obviously "best for business" as The Authority likes to put it. A win puts himself in as strong of a position as possible to be a credible title contender to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. He just needs to keep winning. Bryan wishes Reigns luck tonight. That match is next!
We go back to ringside with Cole, Saxton and Lawler who discuss the night's events so far. We're told that our main event is next! Roman Reigns defeats Bad News Barrett via pinfall. Both men start the match cautiously, especially Barrett, who was very nearly taken out on Raw by Reigns. Barrett dominates first with his brawling-style, but Reigns fights back and puts Barrett down with a Superman Punch! Deja-vu.. as Reigns sets up for the Spear. It's at this point that Big Show and Kane make their way down the ramp. We see Barrett rise to his feet slowly, his back to Reigns. He knows what's coming... SPEAR! Reigns covers his opponent and picks up the win.
But why are Show and Kane here? They hit the ring and set themselves upon Roman Reigns as he struggles to fight back. However, Daniel Bryan emerges from backstage and joins the fray! A running knee to the head of Kane sends him from the ring, and distracts Show enough for Reigns to land a Superman Punch to send him packing too. The Big Dog doesn't seem very happy to see Bryan saving him from the onslaught of The Authority. Reigns glares a hole through Bryan as he mouthes, "you owe me one".. You can cut the tension with a knife as Smackdown concludes!

Alright, Thursday Night Smackdown. The show looks pretty solid here tonight and we start things off with Rusev crushing R-Truth. Fine for him, basic squash. Rusev warning Cena to stay away from him, but we all know that they will clash at WrestleMania as here comes Randy Orton! I suppose we'll get that buffer at Fastlane between the two before Mania. Meh, Gold and Stardust beat The New Day. I'm not a fan of New Day, but Gold and Stardust need to split! I suppose you might go with that down the road? I dunno, we'll see. Paige causing dissension between The Bella Twins likely won't lead to them splitting up again... I hope not, anyway, the logic was already flawed by WWE. Paige winning via submission over Cameron was obvious. Things continue to be rocky with The Bella Twins, though, but I'm just not sure where you're going with them. It kind of makes Paige seem like an afterthought, in my eyes. But, credit for making the divas at least somewhat interesting. Dean Ambrose beating Big Show was good, thankfully you aren't protecting Big Show because, well, he doesn't need to be protected. Good win for Dean. Bray Wyatt's feud with Dolph Ziggler is interesting. I'm not totally opposed to it, but it just seems kind of strange, y'know? I'm guessing you'll go with Bray versus Taker at Mania, though, and this is just kind of a hold off for it. Luke Harper defeating Sin Cara was fine, basically just a typical Smackdown squash to get a guy over that deserves it. Randy Orton versus Rusev is now confirmed for Raw, cool. Cena is challenging Rusev to a match at Fastlane? I'm confused with this angle, unless Rusev declines the match and instead faces Orton? I dunno. We'll see what happens out of all of this. Finally, a good main event that rematches from Raw with Roman Reigns getting the win over Bad News Barrett, with some help from Daniel Bryan. He owes him one, believe that. An interesting show, you've got some cloudy rivalries going on but you are also working around a buffer pay-per-view, so I'm sure things will clear out as we go along. Looking forward to the continuation of the road to WrestleMania.

WWE Thursday Night SmackDown: Thursday 29th January 2015…Unique way to kick off the show with Rusev defeating R-Truth nice and easily. The promo was the main point of this match, and it sounded fine as he continued the business with John Cena. I’m interested to see how you book this. I wonder if the United States Championship will have as much as a prominence in it. I was kind of confused by Randy Orton’s interruption, unless you’re planning to use WWE Fastlane as a way to mix and match the current line-up for WrestleMania 31. I suppose that would be an effective way to go. Goldust and Stardust winning a match is refreshing compared to what everybody else on the board is booking…but how long will it last? Kofi Kingston and Big E of the New Day losing kind of cements that their gimmick has fallen through already. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. For under two months. Another sister dysfunction angle between Brie and Nikki Bella? I hope you actually explain this one. Additionally I hope that this potential Bella Twins feud is actually pretty good, as opposed to the utter bullsh*t angles they ran last autumn. Paige defeating Cameron was fine…that wouldn’t have been a pretty match to watch. Alright, Paige getting more substance out of a storyline which began because she pinned the champion. Now let’s see Nikki’s retort – I think this angle in particular given the polar opposite characters of Paige and Nikki could easily elevate the division with a strong, multi-functional storyline. The Ascension’s vignette was cute. I suppose they aren’t competing tonight? An insert promo was a good way to substitute this whilst keeping them active on the B-show. Speaking of the B-Show. Dean Ambrose defeating the Big Show made ideal sense, although the lack of any other activity after the match made me wonder where both men are going from here headed into WrestleMania season. At least you are experimenting with Ambrose going somewhere other than the Intercontinental Championship scene. Bray Wyatt’s promo was nicely done, but you have quite a bit of work to do with this feud with Dolph Ziggler. It would have been more effective had Ziggler had an efficient, consistent push going for him. Hopefully Wyatt can help him out. I know that the goal here mainly is to put Wyatt over going into a potential match with the Undertaker at WrestleMania, though. Triple H punishing another heel in Bad News Barrett? I guess an authority figure had to do it, but this doesn’t help Hunter’s heel persona out whatsoever. Is his angle with Sting going to go down? I suspect you may be saving that for down the line closer to WrestleMania, I guess. It will be especially strange if this is Triple H’s only appearance on the show. Luke Harper defeating Sin Cara was damage control for Harper’s recently sagging WWE career. Hopefully he can sink his teeth into something nice soon enough. Randy Orton and Rusev squaring off on RAW is big. I thought that this would be a pay-per-view match in the spring or something. That’s a potential big money feud for a more established Rusev in my opinion. John Cena talking via satellite from WWE Headquarters was interesting. On SmackDown, even stranger. It felt like more of a RAW angle, to say the least. Cena hinting at a match with Rusev at Fastlane was nice, with Rusev probably accepting it this Monday on RAW. I’m still kind of confused about the current standing for the WrestleMania spot in challenging Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship – it should be as simple as the Royal Rumble winner challenging for the title, frankly. Roman Reigns’ claims were weird (which is a testament to his mic abilities). Reigns defeating Bad News Barrett made for a good main event though, and the win by Reigns made most sense here against the…Intercontinental Champion. Will Reigns challenge for the Intercontinental Championship now that he beat the champion in non-title action? Please try and strengthen Barrett’s persona. Daniel Bryan making the save for Reigns from the Big Show and Kane was a nice way to close the show, with tension running through the air. I assume that we’ll be seeing these two face off at Fastlane after all. Overall, not too special a show, it slowly gets to focusing on the build going into the February big show, though.

February 02, 2015_________________________________________ Raw kicks off with the familiar theme of John Cena. The Cenation leader enters the arena to a mixed reception (as always) before making a sprint for the ring. Soaking in what adulation the crowd are offering him, with some still chanting "John Cena sucks" along to his entrance music, Cena still clearly means business tonight. As we saw on Smackdown this past Thursday John Cena has challenged Rusev to a match, and he wanted an answer tonight. Cena talks about how he thinks Rusev talks way too much and is begging for someone to shut his mouth for him. Talking about "respect", Cena lists off his accomplishments in WWE. "If anyone can end the unbeaten streak of that Bulgarian Buffoon it's me!", Cena now demanding an answer from Rusev.
Rusev makes his way out to the ring with Lana in tow. The crowd are now getting right behind Cena now as the Super-Athlete heads towards him. Lana does the talking, and says that Rusev is "all-man" and therefore won't back down so easily from a challenge. She accepts the match on his behalf.. with three demands. Firstly, the match will take place in just under three weeks at Fastlane. Secondly, there will be no United States title on the line. Thirdly, WHEN Rusev defeats Cena at Fastlane he wants the right to plant the Russian flag, for millions to see, live at WrestleMania! Cena ponders briefly before he accepts, commenting that he doesn't need Rusev's belt, but he does need him to know that "the Champ Is Here!" and at Fastlane his unbeaten run comes to a stuttering halt. Lana smirks.. she doesn't take Cena seriously. "You stupid American! Rusev has crushed everything in his path, and you will be no different." Rusev stands by his manager rolling his shoulders and staring down his opponent for Fastlane. He takes the mic and throws down the challenge for Cena. "You will not beat me, John Cena! You will not walk away from Fastlane! I will carry on building my career on your broken bones and replace your Cenation flag with the flag of Mother Russia!" As Rusev approaches Cena clocks him with a right-hand! Following it up with more, Cena sends Rusev in to retreat, Lana holding him back from reentering the fracas.
It's official... John Cena vs. Rusev at Fastlane! Sheamus and The Usos defeat Fandango (with Rosa Mendes), The Miz and Damien Mizdow via pinfall. We start with Jey Uso and Miz, with the WWE Tag Team Champion punched into the corner by his opponent. Uso forces his way out and evens out the contest as both sides trade tags with the respective partners. With Fandango slowly pulling apart Jimmy the crowd starts hotting up for the Celtic Warrior to make an appearance. Uso hits Fandango with an enzuigiri kick and slowly makes his way to his corner and the outstretched hand of Sheamus. Fandango tags in Miz first and he drags him away from safety and looks for a running knee. Uso dodges and leaps into the tag... here comes Sheamus! Sheamus takes out all three opponents with running axe handles, before taking out Fandango with ten Beats of Bodhran! Miz sneaks in looking for the Skull Krushing Finale but Sheamus powers out and counters, pushing Miz towards the turnbuckles. Unfortunately for Miz he turns right into the Brogue Kick! Sheamus covers and his team pick up the win. Backstage, Triple H approaches Bad News Barrett. He mentions Smackdown and how he was far more impressed with his performance than he was last week on Raw. Triple H reveals that although he is impressed, he has to inform Barrett that he will defend his title at Fastlane, and there's a match tonight that will determine his opponent! Barrett looks unmoved as he watches the COO walk away. Bray Wyatt defeats Erick Rowan via pinfall. Among last weeks antics saw Bray Wyatt commit an unprovoked attack on an unsuspecting Dolph Ziggler, who suffered a concussion and spent several days in a medical facility. We've all heard the Erick Rowan is actually a quite the braniac but his mind sadly is nothing against the calculating insanity that is Bray Wyatt. These former allies clash in a titanic battle of heavyweights which starts with Wyatt headbutting Rowan and sending him stumbling back. You could say that Wyatt seized the opporunity at this point. Wyatt cut down Rowan with a massive clotheline followed by Sister Abigail for the win.
Wyatt kneeled above his pray laughing away manically when Dolph Ziggler hit the ring! Ziggler throws right hand after right hand and is getting the better of a shocked Eater of Worlds. Ziggler sets himself up to hit the ZigZag but suddenly begins stumbling and eventually collapses! EMTs rush to the ring as Wyatt looks on, once again laughing to himself. We see John Cena and Seth Rollins on screen - both heading towards the ring. They're up next! Seth Rollins (with J&J Security) defeats John Cena via pinfall. The Architect orchestrates another victory here tonight over long-time rival John Cena, and with Triple H surely watching in the wings Seth Rollins has shot to the head of the pack. However, it's not a clean victory and there is some help from outside influences, namely J&J Security, and most effectively Rusev. The United States Champion stood at the top of the stage eagerly watching his newly named Fastlane opponent. Cena swats away the attempts of Noble and Mercury to get involved but cannot seem to take his eyes off Rusev, who ends up slowly making his way towards the ring. Cena invites him in and dares him to fight him, all the while allowing Rollins to sneak up behind Cena and roll him up for the victory. Upon the orders of Lana it is now time for Rusev to strike, and he hits the ring to surprise Cena. He's met with determined retaliation. Rollins goes for the trusted Money in the Bank briefcase as his weapon of choice and squares up to knock John Cena out as Rusev holds him up.
Randy Orton's music hits and The Viper rushes to Cena's aid. Orton fights both men off, forcing his opponent for tonight out of ring and leaving Rollins all alone. The self-proclaimed Future of WWE is in real trouble now! He goes in for the cheap shot on Orton... he dodges it and nails a perfect RKO! Orton cleans house as Rusev looks on, the tension continuing between these four Superstars. Backstage we see Seth Rollins and J&J Security, Rollins with an ice-pack to his neck. Stephanie McMahon comes into shot obviously concerned about Rollins but also annoyed at "how he could allow Randy Orton to do what he did". However, she says both she and Triple H are impressed with Rollins once again and her husband wants Rollins in the ring following the main event tonight to be presented with his reward. Rollins shakes Stephanie's hand, confused, but interested. Aren't we all? Ryback defeats Stardust (with Goldust) via pinfall. A short contest, used to showcase the unmatched strength of the hungry beast, Ryback. Stardust's Disaster Kick connects as Ryback gears up for a Meathook Clothesline for a near fall. However, the Big Guy won't be beaten with the Dark Matter, and it's reversal gives Ryback control, finishing his opponent with the Meathook Clothesline and Shell-Shocked! Following the match, Ryback interacts with the raucous crowd in Denver and motions around his waist. Is Ryback gunning for a title? Dean Ambrose defeats Luke Harper, Kane and Big Show to become number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship. More verbal barbs have traded between Dean Ambrose and The Authority through social media over the weekend after Ambrose pinned Big Show on Smackdown. Ambrose mocked Kane and Big Show, labelling them as puppets who act on the every whim of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon without a mind of their own. Then again, he is fairly mindless himself.. Show and Kane have said Ambrose is disrespectful and is heading for trouble if he does not lay-low. Obviously The Authority are trying to keep the Intercontinental Championship close with Show, Kane and Luke Harper all vying for a shot alongside Ambrose. But once again it's The Lunatic Fringe with the pinfall win, this time over Harper, after sending Show crashing into Kane on the apron, the clash of heads providing enough time for him to hit Dirty Deeds! Ambrose will face Bad News Barrett at Fastlane.. but somehow I doubt this is over between Ambrose and The Authority. We're backstage again with Daniel Bryan in mid-conversation with some of the tech-staff from behind the scenes. Roman Reigns comes into view to a mixed reaction and the two lock the gaze onto each other. Reigns is cold with Bryan. He thanks him for the help on Smackdown but says he doesn't need it. "I respect you and what you did accomplished last year at WrestleMania, Daniel, but now... it's my turn. And you need to move out of the way or I'll run you down on my way to the top." Bryan retorts that Reigns knows then, just like last year, that he will never give in until he has what he wants - the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. "I never lost my title, Roman. And I haven't lost my desire to get it back. We'll see who's on top at WrestleMania."
We're reminded that tonight Triple H will announce his decision with regards to the main event of WrestleMania. He has also requested the presence of Seth Rollins. A video recaps The Ascensions victory over the returning Steiner Brothers last week in Triple H's challenge to defeat four former WWE Tag Team Championship winning teams. We're ready for team number two.. The Ascension defeat Too Cool via pinfall. The Ascension's next challenge is Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay! Too Cool return to WWE in an attempt to derail Konnor and Viktor's rise to glory. Unfortunately for them it doesn't quite work out that way as it's very quickly clear who is the better team here. Isolated and vunerable after his partner is literally launched over the top rope, Scotty is dismantled and put away with the Fall of Man. Victory number two for The Ascension and half-way to a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Following the match, Konnor takes a mic and begins trashing the level of the opponents presented to them thus far. He spits on Scotty and says that his little worm tricks only amuse people because Scotty is a worm. The WWE Universe is laughing at guys like him and fearing GODS like The Ascension. He gives a nod to Viktor and they lurk over their fallen opponent. Are they going to attack again? Well, Booker T isn't going to allow it, and the former 5-time WCW Champion leaps from his position at the announcer's table to assist Too Cool. Booker fights both men off and sends them into retreat. The Ascension head back up the ramp warning their Hall of Fame assailant to "watch his back". You know, Booker T is a former Tag Team Champion.. Nikki Bella defeats Natalya via pinfall. Before the match Nikki cuts a promo about how she doesn't need her sister Brie. She doesn't know whether what Paige is saying is correct but she the trust is gone and she flies solo now. Nikki and Natalya have an entertaining match, a lot of near falls - which you'd think of Natalya could score one she'd be in the frame for a title shot too - but it's Nikki who is victorious with the Rack Attack. A solid win for the Divas Champion as she prepares to defend her title against Paige at Fastlane. The commentary team discuss the preceding announcement and plug the WWE Network's latest offer - FREE to all subscribers in the month of February. This includes Fastlane and the return of The Undertaker! Rusev (with Lana) defeats Randy Orton via stoppage. Rusev has been out here twice tonight, brawling with both John Cena and Randy Orton. He's adamant that Cena will not be a challenge for him and that his undefeated streak will survive through Fastlane. That streak manages to survive through Raw as Rusev beats Orton with help from the Director of Operations, Kane. Orton fairs well as he gears up to Punt the United States Champion in the head. We're interupted by Kane as he heads to the ring ordering the referee to end the match and for Orton to stop this "overly violent display" much to the displeasure of the Denver crowd.. "If you purposely injure your opponent Randy you're suspended indefinitely and forfeit any chance of a title shot at WrestleMania!" Orton toys with the idea, visibly struggling with not kicking Rusev's head off, but eventually settles on an RKO! Lana ushers her man away as he rolls out of the ring.
Orton takes a mic and demands to know why his title shot is even in question. He won the Royal Rumble and he wants definitive answers, not mind games. "King of Kings" hits the P.A. system and Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Big Show join Kane in confronting Orton. Triple H talks about having made his decision as to who will challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. Randy Orton has a legitimate case. Roman Reigns has a legitimate case. Daniel Bryan has a legitimate case. And he had to make a decision that was fair to everyone, that was "best for business". So at Fastlane, all three men will battle in a Triple Threat Match with the winner advancing to WrestleMania to face Brock Lesnar. Orton is visibly pissed and looks like he's about to blow when more is revealed by Stephanie McMahon..
"We felt this was the only way, Randy. I know a lot of things are up in the air right now, but we also feel it's only right to reward those for their services and dedication to the WWE Universe. So, to add a bit of clarity let me introduce one man that WILL be in the main event of WrestleMania... SETH ROLLINS!"
The crowd boos heavily as Rollins makes his way out with J&J Security in tow. The Authority applaud his arrival, shaking his hand and celebrating his addition to the main event of WrestleMania. Triple H explains that Rollins has serviced the WWE by dismantling a volatile and wayward group in The Shield thus protecting the WWE Universe, has orchestrated the return of The Authority and brought stability back to the company, and has provided countless hours of mesmerising performances to captivate the WWE brand. "Therefore, it's only right that we showcase our best talent in the showcase event of the year". Rollins takes the mic and rubs his new position in Orton's face. His RKO earlier on proved nothing, because as WrestleMania concludes Seth Rollins will be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Orton won't. This is the last straw for Orton and he finally snaps, pummelling Rollins for his cockiness. Of course Big Show, Kane and J&J intervene and attack Orton, but the numbers are soon levelled out as Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns hit the ring. Unfortunately, it's not a successful save - Show knocks out Reigns and is about to do the same to Bryan. Triple H and Stephanie look on, smirking at their group's handy-work when the lights cut.. The crowd explodes with another signal that we're in the presence of Sting! The lights continue to flicker, a crow calls, and Triple H looks terrified! The Vigilante is indeed watching, and it seems he's had enough of what he's seen. We end an extremely heated edition of Raw. Everyone is out to claim their spot as we head into WrestleMania, by any means necessary... to assert their "authority".
