He seems like he could be one of, if not the biggest heel in the company with Lana.
They are building him as the super monster who rarely goes off his feet and has yet to be pinned or submitted.
There are some rumblings that he may work with Rock at Wrestlemania if Rock's schedule permits it.
If they truly want to build Rusev as the next big mega heel like some reports suggest, and if the match with Rock would happen, then Rusev would have to cleanly defeat Rock in that match and then go on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
But I have a feeling we have seen this before with certain guys that he is just being built up to be fed to Cena and that will be the end of him.

I can only see him being one of the top heels, he would be a nice guy to accompany the real top guys like Rollins, cena, reigns. Plus rusev just doesn't seem like a guy whose merchandise would sell. Honestly I don't see him as being a world champion which is what your top heel should be

Basically Umaga imo.

The only difference being that Umaga actually was talented while Rusev is just a waste of a roster spot.

He's a big guy who can work a solid match and he does something that a lot of guys suck at. He sells like it's his job. There are plenty of worse guys they could be pushing and I think Rusev is doing fine.

Rusev, to me, is the most annoying aspect of WWE creative in the past few years. His constant winnings or DQ endings to matches have become so predictable. The less he is on TV, the happier I am. This gimmick would have worked 20 years ago when WWE(F) was about having characters that were things and not people (IE: we had the police man, the tug boat captain, the dentist, the clown, etc.).

He's the top face in the company already. Patriotic dude that rarely cheats, wins clean all the time, takes down giants and racists that disrespect his nation, is a hero in his country and just last week chose to defend his championship in a battle royal against EVERYONE rather than pledge his allegiance to any country other than his new homeland AND HE WON. Dude's a in inspiration. (Brandon Stroud for the win)

If Rusev becomes WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he and Lana are doing it the following night on Raw.
Yeah, that's right. You know what I'm talking about.
LIVE PLEDGE CELEBRATION!

He is one of the reasons why I tune in each week. There is something to him that pulls me in. He can wrestle, he can talk... He has the ability to work in all catagories of styled wrestlers. His soldier kick goes down as a big shock of 2014 and at one point, I thought he would do sonething to the US flag. To me, his character is very entertaining. A world title run could be later down the road. But I see him being fed to either Cena or Ryback soon. Probably at Elimination Chamber or after Wrestlemania. He has potential to main event. Either way, I am a fan. Rusev Crush-

I was initially not a fan of Rusev but he has been putting on some pretty decent matches as of late. If I had to guess, He'll go undefeated till he loses to Cena. Once he does, he'll lose more often. Next will be Roman. Then Orton. Maybe Ryback. And eventually he'll be just another guy on the roster.

I'm not a fan of the WWE's new "unstoppable monster" image..
When I think unstoppable monster, I don't think of someone under 6 feet.. Ryback was billed as an unstoppable monster, and Rusev is billed as an unstoppable monster.. These guys are big for their height, but compared to other wrestlers, they're small.
Ryback is a baby compared to the likes of Luke Harper or Brock Lesnar.. And Rusev didn't even come close to being the size of Mark Henry.. Mark Henry is actually taller than Rusev.
It makes no sense.

Rusev is completely done at WrestleMania. He should have been completely done at SummerSlam but that hasn't stopped WWE from sending them out there to do the same sh*t over-and-over again. He will square off against some midcard baby at Mania, like Ryback, and that will be the end of all this nonsense. It's not 1991.
Patriotism in the US is pretty down imo. We've moved away from really feeling a patriotic sense of pride as a country. This whole Russia vs the USA stuff definitely doesn't resonate with the audience the same way it used to 20 years ago. So Rusev is going absolutely nowhere and he's lucky he is strapped to a hot pair of legs with a charismatic gift for gab to even get him this far.

Once Rusev loses he's done. He's got the personality of dry wall and the only thing he has going for him is the hotness of Lana.

To be fair it's not really his fault, he's just stuck with such a moronic shtick.

Idk but it'll be a matter of time we see him dancing around being a comical character.

Rusev is great, I would be happy to see Rusev vs Rock at WM.

Rusev is great, I would be happy to see Rusev vs Rock at WM. I could get behind a repackaged Rusev. He has potential. With a much stronger gimmick, I'm all for Rock/Rusev.
