This is not a WWE storyline, but if CM Punk and WWE could eventually settle their differences it could become the hottest angle in decades. The story of a man raging so viciously against the machine could make the Austin-McMahon days seem soft in comparison. Yes, WWE is a public company now, but they're also quickly becoming a desperate company that's bleeding huge amounts of money via the Network. Punk has stated he would never work with WWE again, but you put enough money in front of someone's face and their attitude often changes.

Its not a story line its a very real situation but if Punk ever decided to comeback the story line writes itself and ironically Punk would get what he always wanted, a WM main event.
Both sides can make a lot of money out of this next year (or this year but seems highly unlikely) if he comes back for the RR, wins that and then headlines mania, hope it happens to be honest.

before this podcast I was convinced Punk would come back sooner or later but at this point it seems like unless WWE make some drastic changes there's no way he'd want to deal with them again. I think maybe some things were embellished or came across worse than they are but the work environment in WWE seems like crap and this CM Punk interview isn't the first time we've heard about how bad it is, maybe some things were highlighted that weren't before but WWE being a crappy work environment is nothing new. Maybe if WWE introduce a union, focus on what's best for the wrestlers and get rid of some of the dinosaurs then Punk will come back, and they shouldn't do all this to get Punk back they should do this to prevent more situations like this, so that pro wrestling as a whole will continue to thrive long after Vince is gone and most importantly because it's the right thing to do.

Yes. This and Chyna playing an adult film actress are both storylines leading to their eventual return to the ring. I KNEW it....... I had thought this was part of a storyline coming up to WM. I thought Punk was going to come through the crowd & even up the odds for Bryan in the WM main event. However it wasn't to be. And no.....Punk is not coming back. Definitely not after that shoot.

ANYTHING is possible. Who thought they could get Bruno to come back? I know that was mostly Hunter.
And with Vince basically confirming a HOF induction for Savage.

I don't have a doubt in my mind that he'll be back eventually. Hogan, Warrior, Bret, they all do business in the end.

That should be Shane in charge.

nope not a storyline, he didn't take any money for it because Cabanna is a close personal friend of his. Do you really think a WWE backed blurred line storyline would allow Punk to drop that many f bombs and completely rip apart Triple H, Ryback and the Medical Staff? Do you realize how much bad press this got WWE? I believe you said everything!

It would be a fantastic storyline but I just can't see if. WWE wouldn't allow their medical team to get buried like this etc.

Nothing against anyone here, but if people believe this is a storyline, they need to get their head examined.
