I've been. The show is great! I'll be a vendor at the next one too. Likely the only one specializing exclusively in wrestling figure stuff! Come say hi!

Might just have to check it out. Interested in catching up on older figures I missed out on when I wasn't collecting, plus finding PR Legacy figures for my nephew.

That's pretty cool. I've got the old C.O.P.S. animated series DVD box set and if I've got enough money left over after meeting Road Warrior Animal, I may just get him to sign it. We will see...

wwfgrk,
Since you have been to this show before, could you answer a couple questions for me as I am thinking about going.
1- Are there a lot of vendors selling wrestling figures or is it mainly other collectibles?! 2- Are the prices decent, can you find a deal or are we talking ebay pricing here which is crazy expensive IMO.
I am only interesting in going to find some older wrestling figures of various legends that I missed out on, if there is not much available then it won't be worth it (for me anyway) to pay the 10 bucks admission.

^ ive been to all of the toy shows over the past 3-4 years...
1 - there are usually 5-7 ppl that have wrestling stuff at the shows... give or take a few.. 2 - prices are usually top retail (top ebay prices or higher) and very hard to work any good deals... especially for all of the current mattel stuff..
basically, ull find about 4-5 guys with a bin of LJN figures, all common ones.. maybe 1-2 ppl with some hasbros and some jakks.. then 2-3 vendors that have tons of the current stuff at more than retail prices...
i still end up going just to look around and meet the guest that is there.. but for what ur looking for, its most likely not for you..

Thanks for the reply yeetman.
I have been to a few local collectible shows in my area and I have only seen one or two people selling figures. There is one guy (I think he goes to all the shows) that is as you described above- he sells mainly current series of Elite & Basic figures and they are quite expensive (over retail). It looks like I won't find what I am looking for at this show, thanks for saving me a trip.
This hobby is becoming very frustrating, I don't understand why these Mattel figures are not as readily available in Canada as they are in the USA?? There are lots of hardcore wrestling fans in this country, why does Mattel refuse to sell to us Canucks?! If there are no retailers willing to stock them (not sure why because from what I have seen in the few short months since I started collecting, TRU sells out immediately of all Legends and flashback figures so the demand is there) then why don't they just sell them to us directly through their online store?! I am only interested in about 10-12 more figures, if I am successful in finding them then I will stop as its not worth the hassle trying to find them when they don't exist in Canada.
