What exactly is a "stairs match"? Can you only use the stairs? What if I use a chair in a stairs match? Am I DQ'd? How do I win a stairs match? First one to get hit with the stairs loses?
I understand tables matches, you have to go through the table to lose. I understand ladder matches, you have to climb up and get something to win. I understand first blood matches (you'll never see one again).
But chairs and stairs matches are idiotic and nonsensical. Just call them no-DQ matches or extreme rules matches or no holds barred matches or something. Associating a match with one type of weapon with no clear framework as to how the match is won/lost or what is/isn't allowed is just confusing and weak.
TLC really is a PPV that needs to be eliminated from the schedule.

Oh boy, I wonder if Show will do that one bump where he's holding the steps, gets dropkicked, falls to the floor, and the inside corner of the steps lands over his head.

I'm still waiting for an empty arena match in the middle of Raw. Fans start their usual "CM PUNK" chants, Vince comes out pissed and kicks all the fans out and makes the rest of the night an empty arena show. Thing is Vince, HHH, and Steph's egos are big enough to really do this to.
