Parts of this forum are on some weird anti wrestling crusade lately. I get that you need to be invested in the match you're watching, but there are more ways to do that than the standard 30 minute talking segment at the top of the show. Mouthpieces are good, ask Bork Lazer. If WWE genuinely seemed to be trying their best with these guys and they were flat out flopping then I'd understand, but I don't see what harm there is putting another good worker on the card. They give us pointless match on top of pointless match every week, may as well have as many good wrestlers as possible if that's how they're gonna run things.

The weird crusades have been around for a few months now. Yeah there's people that are like, "Oh, every match should have a purpose to be on the show and blah blah blah". I would agree that a lot of matches that have happen on TV lately are happening just to happen. I see no problem with a couple of matches happening on TV just to put people on TV. I mean look back in 1998, 1999, 2000, there were matches that happened that had no purpose other than to put two guys or two teams or whatever on TV. An example, on one episode of RAW is WAR in 1999, what was the purpose of having a mixed four team match that lasted a couple of minutes? So there's nothing wrong with putting on matches just to have them, but I feel that the shows that should have matches just to put guys in a match should be Main Event (excluding the Main Event), and Superstars. RAW being three hours should have a couple of matches just to put guys in cause they have to fill time. Same thing on Smackdown.

Would be best for business. Especially if he's in the MITB matches
