He is now apart of WWE Alumni. Personally I'm very happy with this decision. Honestly I have always felt like he was a waste of booking and this was long overdue. Sorry if this has been mentioned before but I couldn't find anything

I'll miss him. I don't think he was a waste of booking. Not everyone needs to be a serious competitor and he played the comedy role incredibly well. He also got super over, which is more than a lot of people can say.

I actually enjoyed his comedy role since he always made me laugh. Who is going to provide humor to the WWE audience now? Adam Rose and the Bunny, yeah  that. |

I think Santino will just be an ambassador for the company. That's probably why they moved him to the alumni section.

Santino more than served his purpose and I always found him to be entertaining in and out of the ring. I know they moved his profile after he retired a few months back. But I wouldn't be surprised if we see more of him again. I'm sure if Santino wore kick-pads and came from ROH, this place would be going ape s**t right now.

Santino was really great from 2007-2009, and he was even awesome in 2011 with the Rumble and Chamber stuff that year.
He had a role, and he played it extremely well. Like others said, he has been retired for awhile and appears to be still linked to the company as an Ambassador.

The Bunny will be US Champ before the relegate it to strictly a comedy role. Calling it. Show's directed at kids, and the Bunny is super over with more than just the kids. Wait til Easter time. At Survivor series the Bunny loses the title to ... the Gobbledy Gooker....
the Gobbledy Gooker is then revealed to be....

I'm sure if you do some research you'll find that yes he did say he was retiring, then a while later said he was in training for a return to WWE. As far as I know he hasn't yet been released, he may be alumni but still working backstage. I know a lot of people bash Santino but atleast the guy had character. |
