The Ascension sucks. Conor has been in developmental for an eternity though, might as well let the guy have his cup of coffee.

I guess is that 1/25/15 thing is real, then this is whom it's for I would believe that if it said "They Rise" instead of "He Rises." The Ascension isn't one person, at least I hope not (in WWE's eyes). Unless they're brought up with someone, I don't see 1.25.15 being for The Ascension. Bray Wyatt and Baron Corbin are the only two logical choices I can see that happening with. But, I doubt The Ascension will be brought up with someone. |

My opinion looks like it matches the majority of those on here.
I'm not really sold on these guys, but at least they'll provide fresh blood to the tag division.

Acension has failed to impress me but the main roster is thirsting for new tag teams.
If I see Usos vs. Dust Brothers one more time I will sell my soul to David Arquette.

LET ME GUESS: they debut on Raw in a squash tag match against Los Matadores.
Then they squash Slater Gator on SmackDown.
Then they squash Los Matadores again on Raw, beating them up after the match for The New Day to make the save.
Then bing bam boom, Ascension vs. New Day in a throwaway filler match on PPV. Genius.

Hasnt Connor been in development for legit almost 10 years Yup, I watched him at DSW when he was still Roughhouse O'Reiley or whatever and that was in 2005. Even back then at the age of 13 I couldn't stand him and not much has changed. |

That promo on Smackdown just solidified what opinions I already had about these two. The only thing I can honestly say I like about them is their name.
That promo was awful, and instead of sticking to their own look like they had in NXT it looks like they're trying to recreate LOD version 4 or 5 with the red face paint and shoulder pads. Combine that with their boring matches, I can see this being a train wreck from about a mile away.
I was big on them when it was Kenneth Cameron and not Viktor. They had a unique presence and look, now its been so watered down that the gimmick isnt even a shell of what it was 2 years ago.

But it's not verified and no one in the WWE or even the WWE twitter account follows it. I'm guessing it's something fan made to rile people up. |

Is it me or did the vignette feel and look like it was something from the early 90's. To me it had a very 90's feel to it. I'm I the only one who feels that.
