Love all the metal, gothy "Christmas" tracks people are posting haha! Thats not real Christmas music; hell I'm as goth and punk as you get, but sake guys, get with the spirit. Life doesn't always need to be doom and gloom all the time! My absolute favourite is easily Wham - "Last Christmas" Also, since I work in H&M and we've had the new Lady Gaga/Tony Bennett album on like all the time, I'm gonna say that too cause its honestly damn catchy and shows that that broad can sing DAMN well. But I do love most original Christmas pop songs; but then again I love Christmas time.

I like both Michael Buble and Relient K's Christmas albums. Blue Christmas by Elvis is always going to be on there. Frank Sinatra has had some great Christmas songs too.

All Christmas music should be taken to a back alley and shot down Old Yeller style.

I like most Christmas songs - special mention to Christina Aguilera's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", TSO's "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo", and I'm kind of liking Kelly Clarkson's new(?) song.
Least favorite - Absolutely hate Lennon's "Happy XMas (War is Over)", though I like Sarah McLachlan's version. "Wonderful Christmastime" is especially boring; and "Do They Know It's Christmas?" is too preachy for me to enjoy. I don't need that crap.

While Baby it's cold Outside is very problematic from a modern perspective, in the 40s it actually wasn't at all. It was actually about the woman wanting to stay, but not wanting people to talk. "What's in this drink?" was a common phrase people used to excuse drunken behavior, and was actually referring to the alcohol itself. Oddly, the man who wrote it originally did so for his wife and they sang it privately at parties for years before he sold it. She was really mad when he did as she felt it was theirs and shouldn't have been sold.
Of course, when it's covered now a lot of the flirtation is lost and it does sound really awful. The only modern version I've liked was Lady Gaga and Joseph Gordon Levitt, and that was because of the role reversal. But I can usually listen to the early versions and while my modern sensibilities shudder a little, I'm actually pretty good at placing myself in the time things were written if I know the context.
Similarly, I like Santa baby as sung by Eartha Kitt as it's very tongue in cheek. But I also dislike modern versions of this song, except for Everclear's.
Anyway, enough of my rambling, onto my list. I have a lot that I love, so I'll narrow it as best I can:
White Christmas- Bing Crosby, The Platters, Andrea Bocelli Blue Christmas- Elvis, Bright Eyes Blue X-Mas- Miles Davis Merry Christmas (I Don't I don't want to fight)- The Ramones Christmas with the Devil- Spinal Tap Ave Maria- Chris Cornell 12 Days of Christmas- The Muppets and John Denver (That Whole Album, really) X-Mas Cake- Rillo Kiley Hooray for Santa Claus- The Fleshtones Christmas Time- The Smashing Pumpkins Run, Rudolph, Run- Chuck Berry All I want for Christmas is You. I like many versions, but MCR's is my favorite Pretty Paper- Roy Orbisson Jingle Bell Rock Marshmallow World Fairytale of New York- The Pogues Oi to the World- The Vandals Both of Run DMC's Christmas songs It's Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)- U2 Last Christmas- Wham! Holly Jolly Christmas- Burl Ives Anything from The Chipmunks Anything from Trans Siberian Orchestra Anything from Rankin and Bass
There are plenty more, but that works for now.
As for least favorite, there's not even a competition. I'll let Patton Oswalt explain:

My favourite seems to be one that is largely overlooked or just not that well known but I suppose most rock covers like this are that way. Iron Maiden's 'Another Rock and Roll Christmas.'
