So I'm thinking about painting my belts, I have/can get the right paints (acrylic) but I don't know what else to do, do I use a paint brush or what?
How do you paint around the letters like around with black etc?
Help is super appreciated!

use a tooothpick for most of the belt and the tip of a thumbtack for painting around the letters. be patient and it'll turn out great.

Will I need to use sealer or anything other than just an acrylic paint of the color I want on the title?
And my biggest fear in customizing is messing up, if I did could I quickly wipe the mistake off and leave my belt looking fine and normal as it did before?

If you don't want the paint to scratch off you'll need sealer.

Alright thanks to all, few last questions...
What is the best kind of sealer to get? I'm looking for a name so I can look for something specifically.
And, once again I'd like to ask if I can just wipe off quickly after I do it if I don't like it and have my belt be the same as it was before.

If there's a part of the belt you don't want to paint over, simply cover it up with masking tape. You might want to get a fine detail paintbrush as well, they're not too expensive and it might come in handy.
And clear matte sealer will work, or I even use a mixture of water and school glue sometimes. School glue dries clear, so it's almost the same as a sealer.
Overall just experiment, you may mess up a belt or two before you have it down.

As Ianarchy said, you can use masking tape. But I'm not sure how well that would hold up on one of those title belts, with all of the crevaces...I don't think it would work.
You don't "have to" seal it. I use Testor's paints and there are some things I don't use a sealer on. I've had no problems without the usage of sealer.
Also, your last question; if you don't like what results you're getting, you can wipe it off...but do it before the paint starts to dry. If it starts to dry, get a little nail polish remover and it should remove any paint that you want gone.

or if you have a duplicate of a belt, you could use one to practice
