Now I know that the WWE product catches a ton of flack and many people think it flat out sucks. I agree that creative has messed up a TON and have no long term booking plans but, I would like to point out that 2014 has been a pretty special year. I'd just like to have this here. A positive thread for the things you liked in 2014, rather than the constant stream of negativity towards it. Enjoy professional wrestling guys. Here are some of the great things we've seen this year. - Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt at the Royal Rumble
- The return of Batista
- The Shield/Wyatts saga
- WrestleMania XXX as a whole
- Daniel Bryan getting his moment
- The Streak ending
- Evolution reforms, faces Shield in great matches
- The Shield split being handled correctly
- EAT.SLEEP.SUPLEX.REPEAT.SUPLEX.REPEAT.SUPLEX.REPEAT
- The rivalry between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins
- Seth Rollins' rise as the top heel in the company
- The incredible second half of Dolph Ziggler
- Stephanie McMahon getting back into a ring and being better than pretty much every other Diva.
- STING!
- Paige's debut
- The hard hitting brawls between Sheamus and Cesaro
- Damien Mizdow
- Pretty much every single thing about NXT
What are some of your favorite things about 2014? I'm sure I missed some.

The WWE Network giving fans the chance to see stuff they'd normally not be able to see. Your points are spot on, Kev.

Randy Orton. Seriously. Prior to his removal from television, dude was putting on the best performances of his career. When motivated, he's one of the best in the world.

i really enjoyed lesnar winning the championship and his whole reign thus far despite the naysayers. only thing i personally don't like is how it's all leading to cena beating him again, but just like during punk's reign, i'll enjoy it while it lasts.

I agree with a lot of things you've posted. In 2014, I've appreciated... - The Shield dominating the WWE with A+ feuds
- Batista NOT going to win at 'Mania
- Bryan at 'Mania
- NXT
- Damien aligning with Miz. They're both over more than they've ever been
- Paige's debut (even though it wasn't booked great, it's still nice to see a fresh face in the Divas division)
- NXT's crowd at Full Sail
- Seth Rollins grabbing the 'brass ring' (in my opinion. Screw Raines or Cena taking it)
- Ambrose being Ambrose
- Tyler Breeze, Tyson Kidd, Sami Zayn, and Adrian Neville reigning over NXT
- Randy's heel turn. The best thing he's done since the Legend Killer gimmick
- Brock handling Cena like a rag doll. (Although the outcome of Lesnar being champion may be the worst reign in the 21st century, maybe of all time IMO)
- The Monday Night Wars - I've seriously enjoyed that show. It wasn't the BS I expected.
- Oh, and NXT

The Shield. Since 2012. Given what we're used to I'm ing amazed at everything they achieved with these guys.

Me and Focalin started the "NO!" chant after Batista won the Rumble. I'll count that as a memorable moment. XD

It's been a very up and down kind of year. Definitely had its moments of disappointment, frustration and straight up embarrassment... But despite that, I can honestly say it's been one of the most memorable years in the past decade. Had a lot of good times and consider myself more a fan than I have been last few years.

- Daniel Bryan opening and closing WrestleMania XXX as well as winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship - NXT and all of the NXT specials this year that have been spectacular and pretty much putting the main roster PPVs to shame - The Shield/The Wyatt Family series of matches - The Shield/Evolution series of matches - Damien Mizdow - Brock Lesnar beating the crap out of Cena at SummerSlam and taking the WWE WHT

-Hostile Royal Rumble fan take over -Shield vs. Wyatts -Wrestlemania XXX -The streak ending -Daniel Bryan's Wrestlemania moment. Might be one of the most emotional moments in Wrestlemania history. -Paige debut -Shield vs. Evolution -Shield breakup -Rollins vs. Ambrose -Summer of the Beast Incarnate -Rollins' rise as a top heel -The debut of freakin STING -Dolph freakin Ziggler -All year long.....NXT.
Honorable mentions go to the returns and Hall of Fame inductions of Warrior, Roberts, and Razor. Never thought I'd see the day all three would be in the same class. True meaning of redemption.

- The Rise of Daniel Bryan (Putting on the MOTY with HHH to begin WMXXX, and then Winning the WWE WHC in the Main Event). - Cesaro putting in amazing matches, especially early on in the year, and winning the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. - The Debut of Paige - Kane putting the mask back on, being normal again, and having an exciting Extreme Rules match at the ER PPV that made both him and Bryan look good. - NXT in general, plus all their Specials on the Network. - Rollins and Ambrose feud. - Lesnar squashing Cena at Summerslam for the title. - Luke Harper going solo. - Dolph Ziggler's performance in the Survivor Series Main Event, and his push.

This year was full of some great quotes. Some of my favorites would be:
"If you look up at me, you will see a friend, if you look down on me you will see an enemy, and if you look me square in the eye, you will see a god." - Bray Wyatt
"There's always a Plan B." - Triple H
"Only three things will survive a nuclear explosion. Twinkies, cockroaches, and Dean Ambroses." - Dean Ambrose

The best thing about WWE in 2014 were John Cena's lime green shirt and his new yellow/red shirt

Always love your posts and this one is no different. Only one I prob can't see eye to eye on is the Batista return. I think if he didn't come back it wouldn't have changed much of anything. Not knocking Batista, I really do like his character but he certainly came back to be put over at the wrong time in the middle of the Daniel Bryan movement. Without them waiting to pull the trigger on Bryan for so long, Batista probably actually gets a decent reaction as a face.
But with the rest of that list I completely agree. And as far as the Stephanie one goes with her outwrestling basically every current diva on the roster after not competing for like 10-15 years, is spot on. And im not sure whether I should be impressed by Steph or saddened out how silly she made the rest of the divas division look.

2014 has been pretty damn awesome imo.
- Bryan getting his moment at Mania - Rollins turning on the Shield and everything about his heel run - Warrior one last time (as sad as it was he said and made his peace in front of the world) - Sting, Sting on Bluray, Sting at SvS, Sting prototypes, Sting - Ziggler from SummerSlam till now - Prince Devitt, KENTA and Kevin Steen all signed - That Finn Balor entrance - Ambrose jumping out of a giant present - Ambrose as a hot dog vendor - The WWE Network for only... - The Authority - Evolution vs The Shield - The Wyatts vs the Shield - J&J Security - Damien Mizdow - The Rock interrupting Rusev - Lana's legs
Plenty of stuff to get me through my b*tching and moaning.
