There is absolutely nothing memorable about their in-ring performances. They're a late-80s gimmick trapped in a 2014 TV show, and neither guy appears to be charismatic enough to make it work. Are you assuming this from the promo that was just shown on Raw? Because you're incredibly wrong. Their NXT work has been amazing since they became the NXT tag team champions. They have great chemistry in the ring, and are an ACTUAL TAG TEAM. They don't need to be charismatic to completely dominate the tag division, by the way. Dude, I've watched the Ascension for like two years. They started out as a unique enough looking gimmick and did absolutely nothing to stand out. I can't even sit through their matches, and I like squash matches. |

Doesn't excuse them both being piss poor in the ring. There's a reason their reign consisted of SQUASH matches for a year. To be fair, for a good while there were about three NXT tag teams, one of which being Enzo, who was inactive, and Cass. Plus I'd say Viktor is a main roster worthy worker. |

 I think it'd be fine. I grew up in the 80s though. Almost everyone wore trunks. I don't see how a big guy in trunks is more ridiculous than anyone else. I agree. Pro wrestlers in jeans look worse. There are times it works, but as a rule yes. When he was part of the family I was fine with the street clothes, but I think thm going on their own should have included a change in style. Though I guess with Rowan things have worked out as is. |
