They'll put him in a match against Kane or Big Show or somebody pointless to open the show at Mania. This is shaping up to be an awful Wrestlemania.

I still think Rollins vs Bryan could be a potential show stealer at mania. But that was my prediction before tonight's annoincement.
Now I think Bryan should win the rumble. 100%. The crowd will riot otherwise. Bryan somehow beats Leanar after taking an asswhooping at WM31 and goes on the long title run that he deserved in the first place this past year. . Then he can feud with Rollins after an eventual mitb cash in.

How about Triple H in the Royal Rumble as a hero-killer?
I'm pretty sure SOMEONE will screw Daniel Bryan out of his Royal Rumble win.... maybe Rollins?
Then, The Authority (Hunter) TRIES to screw Reigns out of the win - but will be foiled (again) by Sting....
Cena wins his 16th World Title from Brock Lesnar
Then your WrestleMania 31 card:
Roman Reigns VS. John Cena (World Title, Reigns probably wins)
Daniel Bryan VS. Seth Rollins (for the briefcase & title shot)
Brock Lesnar VS. Undertaker II ('Taker gets his Streak win back, sort of - the 'Mania crowd will eat it up)
Sting VS. Triple H

As much as I like Daniel Bryan, I'd laugh my ass off if Reigns were to eliminate him in the Rumble. They'll put him in a match against Kane or Big Show or somebody pointless to open the show at Mania. This is shaping up to be an awful Wrestlemania. Were still in 2014. Theres still a month until the Rumble and three months until Wrestlemania and you're already calling it awful? I know your first instinct is to bitch and moan but at least wait until were in 2015 before doing so. |

Or complain online saying they will never watch again only to tune in to the next show  . Either way the rumble and how Bryan is booked will be fun to watch and see how it all plays out. Whether he faces Rusev, beats Brock, fights hornswoggle I think everyone should just be happy that one of the greatest wrestlers in the world is fully healthy and is ready to return the ring, I know I am. |

Why the hell was this not kept a secret until #30 at the Rumble? They got the whole place to cheer for CENA in 2008 (the ONLY time that's happened since he first won the title in 2005), so imagine the reaction for Bryan.
The only reason this isn't a secret is so that it isn't an anti-climax when Bryan comes out of nowhere only to be eliminated by Reigns.
In WWE's defence though, the fact that two people could win this Rumble does make it the most unpredictable Rumble in years. Maybe its just me getting older but nearly every Rumble has been telegraphed for ages I think.

Well said mate, I remember back when I was a kid and you truly did believe that anyone could win the Rumble I was sure Texas Tornado was going to win the 91 Rumble, ah to be an un jaded kid again. Part of me is so sure its going to be Reigns that wins, but a wee part of me still thinks that Bryan could do it and that excitement, mystery and just down right fun is what wrestling should be all about. |

Reigns vs Lesnar vs Bryan would be very interesting, never even thought of the idea of a double elimination. Lesnar could make both guys look strong, no matter who wins. I actually like this idea a lot now. Bryan being able to beat Brock would be way more believable with Reigns in the match. Reigns putting on a solid match would be way more believable with Bryan in there. |

So people want a man who still has a somewhat injured neck to fight someone who has injured more necks than Rusev has won matches...
Not a chance, if anything I'd prefer Bryan vs Rollins but that ain't happening.

If they were to have him return on the night the place would go insane, and they would riot if he didn't win. My only hope now is that he gets eliminated by a Returning Kurt Angle or something. Literally don't know what they have planned for him for Wrestlemania, because they surely wont go with Brock Lesnar vs Daniel Bryan for the Title and do it all over again. |

No way they let someone who just had bad neck problems have another WM moment like he did last year. Him being back is good enough. I hope his neck holds up. Taking german suplexes from Brock can't be good. I see him facing Rollins

Dirt Sheets before Bryan's announcement: "Reigns is penciled in to win the Rumble."
Dirt Sheets after Bryan's announcement: "Word around WWE is higher-ups are deciding between Bryan and Reigns for the Rumble."
Anything less than a Rumble win and escaping San Fran with the gold would warrant a crowd-induced riot.
