I braved Target this morning. What a gongshow. I cleared them out of the few wrestling figs they had which shockingly included Elite Luke Harper. Blew my mind. Anyways, also picked up basic Christian, Santino and Fandango. Don't ask me series numbers cuz i have no clue all toys were 20% off. Clothes and Q-tips were the only things i spotted for the full 30% off.

That's what I figured. Even at 20-30 % off the toys it wouldn't make a huge difference. The nearest target is about 30 minutes from me so it would cost more in gas to drive there than to save 5 or 6 bucks on a figure. I'd rather wait a bit longer and see how low the prices actually go.

Yeah if it wasn't for the fact that I pass Target on the way home from work I wouldn't have even bothered to stop. The lineups were absolutely absurdly long... only took me like 20 minutes to get through it though. Basics came out to about 11 bucks. Better than the $15 they were charging. Lol

It didn't scan at the till but i wasn't gonna leave it. They looked on the system and found a SKU for Elite figures. Was like 25 bucks before the 20% off. I dunno if that means more might pop up as they empty their warehouses. Pissed me off almost that i found it now that they are liquidating.

Alright so I went to target this morning and it was packed. I went there around 8:30. I only went to see if they stocked up on any hulk hogan DMs. They had nothing but basics. After that I went to a different target. I go to the toys section and I see elite 29! I WAS SHOCKED. I mean since there was news of hulk hogan DMs hitting the east side of Canada. I would actually go to all four of my targets everyday just to see what they would have. But everytime I go I would just see the usual basics/belts/thumb wrestlers/keychains. So I stood there in shock for a good minute or two looking at the figures from a distance like I was watching a crush walk by. I go to the price checker thing to see how much one was but it said item not found. After that I went to the electronics department to ask how much it was and it still wouldn't scan. So what she did was mark one down to 8 dollars. So I asked if I got more would it still be 8 bucks and she said yes. ( maybe she works with the authority and she has the same powers steph and hunter do. ) So I ended up buying Harper Rowan and Punk. In the end I spent 27.12. But still no hulk hogan DMs.

It be a bad day in the WWE Figure Collecting Universe....they say ANYTHING can happen....and it has. Target was about to start carrying Elites in Canada, and now they are closing their doors.
We hear the bells, and we be coming....DING DONG!!
(10 points to anyone who can figure out what I was VERY LOOSELY quoting here)
Seriously though...that is RIDICULOUS if indeed we were finally going to have one other supplier for Elites in this country, only to loose them before they get rolling. Painful.
Although... maybe this means we'll get some on sale/find them in Winners or places like that over the summer.

Did a quick walk through of the Pickering target store. No wwe figs at all. I'm hoping they will stock some elites as they empty all the trucks. I couldn't believe the line ups today. From the looks of it, there was at least 100 people in line. Unbelievable.

Went to a Target as well and no Elites. Only one flex force and some power slammers. Pretty ridiculous lines around the Target. There were only 3 cash registers available and the line went all the way back to the freezers in the back. The discounts weren't even that good. Also went to a TRU and it only had E29 Punks. And Walmart had new B45 but only HHH and Daniel Bryan. Still gotta get Mankind!

Target Metrotown has nothing but the same shelfwarming Basics that have been there for months already. No sign of any Elite's or DM Hogans. sigh.
