It's not like his "bully gimmick" is much of a gimmick at all. He's pretty much the same Bubba Ray we've had for a while. He obviously would still be called Bubba Dudley.

This may get me banned but i never got the big deal with the Dudley Boyz. So it don't really excite me. Sorry, but yeah. It's in section Six, point C in the Terms that you agree to when you sign up that you have to get the big deal with the Dudley Boys. Refusal to do so is indeed a bannable offense. Bannable Offense? Nahh let him stay as long as he is willing to be power-bomb off the top rope through a table - Mae Young style! I wouldn't mind seeing both of the Dudley Boyzs back - "surprise" appearance at the Rumble in Philadelphia would be awesome. Either as the "surprise" opponent for the USOs or them interfering at the end of the whatever tag title match the USOs have there. Give them a nice little run with the belts - then give Bubba a singles run - then they both can go be trainers (and even part-timers) in NXT. |

It's been rumored for months. I assumed that was why the Usos won the belts back and the storyline with Mizdow ended so abruptly. Uh, it hasn't been "rumored" at all, let alone for months.... |

Wait since when does no one like the Dudley Boyz? The Dudley Boyz are a legendary tag team and both Guys can still go and they'd be great to put the Usos over What would be the point? They'd put the Usos over and no one else, so the Usos would be the only over team in the division. That does nothing for anyone. |

I know WWE is obviously trying to revive the tag divisions with teams like Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. The Uso's are pretty much the only team that is over at this point. Mizdow is interesting to watch but seems like they will turning a different angle with them. But bringing the Dudleyz would not do anything for me. |

I wouldn't be opposed to the Dudleys coming back, but I also don't have any interest in investing my time in them, as a viewer. Their act was really stale a decade ago, and while Bubba is still a heat magnet on the mic, inside the ring they're the exact same guys when they team together.
Any tag team is better than no tag teams, but what would the appeal of the Dudleys be these days?
