the sixth sense & titanic are in AFI's Top 100 films of all time....um, no even LOTR: Fellowship & Toy Story being on there are misses IMO I think Fellowship and ToyStory earn it. Anyhow you need to follow the Sight and Sound list for the truly greatest films. i'll have to give that list a look |

I think Fellowship and ToyStory earn it. Anyhow you need to follow the Sight and Sound list for the truly greatest films. i like those movies & know it's all subjective, but when I see Toy Story...I can't rank it higher than Fantasia (not even close)....I wouldn't be able to rank it higher than Snow White...or other animated films really LOTR is quite good as a whole, but I just wouldn't put it in mine personally, but I respect the epic...I wouldn't rank it higher than another epic like The Ten Commandments though - I wouldn't put it above Fantasia (that isn't on the 2007 list) Im not going to debate a greater than issue, but the influence of both are huge. Toy Story changed the entire landscape of animated film forever. |
