That's Cray Cray. Some out of print albums and CD's go for a ton of money. Ironically sometimes it's the other way around. For instance, there's an England Dan and John Ford Coley album I want, called Nights Are Forever, the vinyl LP is abundant and goes for not much, the CD release on the other hand goes for like $50 and up for some reason That's a lot for a cd!! I had noticed high cd prices a few times: with imports, cd singles, or if a band made it big & had a cd before switching labels, etc. The main record shop in Houston often sells the hard to finds. I've always wanted a vinyl for Deja Entendu by Brand New, but it was a small production # -- resold for 200 to 400...but they finally repressed it & comes out in May. Hootie & The Blowfish's first album on red vinyl is unfortunately high on reselling sites & hard to find (200 and up). I really want an import of Louis Armstrong & Ella Fitzgerald that isn't out of print...it's in-stock on Amazon but still $70 and too much. I need to buy the Mulan soundtrack (not put on vinyl ever..so cd format & would come with a digital copy, but it's 17 or so, kind of high for me). I need a lot of disney vinyl that arent too expensive - I bet the CDs are prob more in most instances. Since my xm radio free trial ran out again...all I listen to in my car is fm channel for houston that plays symphonic/orchestra music...it's pretty awesome! Went to the hospital once downtown to visit someone & they played for some reason I'm the lobby - so amazing, more so than in concerts. My Mom's car had a SirisuXM satellite radio subscription when she bought her new car last year. It was a joke. 99.9% of the stations were either talk or sports stations and the music stations even had DJ's that talked on the songs. We let the free trial run out. They called to ask us to renew the subscription and I answered the phone and gave the person hell about how I hated their product. I just use the USB drive in the car. |

When I was in Tenerife, they had all these figures of these obscure franchises in toy stores. I remember going to one in a mall, and in the same display, they had a Monkey D. Luffy figure, a Caillou figure, a Sully figure, a Goofy figure, a Tommy Pickles figure, and a Lightning McQueen figure. They had tons more. Next time I go, I'm definitely taking a picture and maybe even picking some up.
