We haven't heard anything other than they have another series coming out, but that may fall within the previous deal.

I seriously hope that they don't. Jakks is lazy when it comes to the TNA line and will likely never produce another new figure from the entire TNA roster. So all you can really hope to see are repaints in the years to come. If TNA found a company to make action figures with a fresh start, then someone like Kurt Angle who has been made a thousand times over would have the same chances of being made as someone like Ethan Carter III. I wonder what Playmates is doing...

They're too busy concentrating on the UFC Line which has outsold every single toy ever made in the history of mankind. They are currently on pace to beat the all time gross of Barbie & GI Joe COMBINED in the next 3 years.

Yes, Jakks, by all means, put more money into the TNA line. If only you will stop being so lazy, all 1.1 million viewers of Spike TV one hundred thousand viewers of Destination America promise they will collect, collect, collect.
Seriously boys and girls, it's a simple matter of supply and demand. How many of the 100,000 average viewers of Destination America will be clamoring for new Impact Wrestling figures? Hmmm...

Most people see wrestling online and not on the TV. Besides, i know this may be news, but there are 5.98 billion people in countries outside the US. I am pretty sure a few of those countries air Impact. STILL...not enough for Jakks to make an effort on the line.

I'm sure people on this board can attest to the fact that even if they did watch Impact in other countries, those Jakks figures aren't arriving in their stores (seeing as how they're Ringside exclusives).

I'm overseas and have never seen the Jakks TNA line in shops. Personally I watch it from time to time but from what I see online there is only a set released every now and then

I'll email them in March and see what's happening.
I like(d) the TNA figures, I thought they were pretty good, they came out with some really cool exclusives too. It's just a shame that the TNA audience has declined since the deal started in 2010 - I can't blame Jakks for slowing down.
I'd really like a few more sets.

The Jakks TNA Line seems dead in the water. How many new waves were released in 2014?

Destination America is in 60 million homes, close to 70 million. Just because they don't have any highly rated shows, doesn't mean that TNA won't draw a rating close to what they did before. Is losing 20+ million homes a blow? Sure, but TNA was drawing an average of 1.1 million on a network with 80 million homes, so it's downright intellectually- disabled to think that TNA will suddenly be drawing only 100,000 viewers on a network that reaches 60 million homes. But don't let logic get in the way of a good nonsensical rant, I suppose. And of course, TNA secured a toy deal with Marvel/ToyBiz back when they were on FoxSports, doing not much more than 100,000 viewers. But I digress.

And of course, TNA secured a toy deal with Marvel/ToyBiz back when they were on FoxSports, doing not much more than 100,000 viewers. But I digress. Destination America ratings info from the Wrestling Observer newsletter: The highest-rated program on the network was an episode of “Buying Alaska” that had 535,000 viewers two weeks ago. It had the best average ever a few weeks ago with 214,000 weekly viewers. They usually get between 100,000 and 200,000 viewers in primetime. Their bigger shows are doing better and in the 200,000 range. TNA will be considered a “flagship” show when they join next year. TNA iMPACT! Wrestling regularly has an average of a round a million viewers. If these people follow the company to a new network and the show gains new fans, it could be good news. However, Spike TV reaches almost 99 million American homes and is available in Canada. Destination America isn’t available in Canada and only reaches 60 million US homes. TNA is working on a Canadian deal but nothing is official as of this writing. From the Jakks press release on signing TNA: MALIBU, Calif., Feb 13, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The world leader in wrestling toys, JAKKS Pacific Inc. (NASDAQ: JAKK), today announced that it signed an exclusive five year worldwide Master Toy License with TNA (Total Nonstop Action) Entertainment LLC for TNA Wrestling, with a planned launch expected to commence in 2010. TNA has been increasing in popularity since its inception in 2002. "TNA iMPACT" airs every Thursday night from 9:00 - 11:00 PM, ET/PT on Spike TV (available in 96.1 million homes and is a division of MTV Networks). Through a combination of televised programming, pay-per view and live events, TNA is also available in over 110 countries around the globe. Jakks TNA figures are absolute CRAP. I really wish another company would get the rights. Marvel TNA figures were awesome for the most part, but some of them were pretty wonky. I really wish we could get a high quality figure of Kurt Angle from SOMEBODY at some point.

263,000 viewers for their big return on a new Network. While that number is horrible, lets all wait and see what they do when they move to Fridays before we started talking about 'intellectually- disabled thinking'.
263,000 may not be 'intellectually- disabled', depending on your point of view, but it sure is 'slow adult'.

All I have to say is TNA diva figures are WAY better than the current mattel ones. Mattel ones are just so small and flimsy, I know they're supposed to be but I feel like they're arms are going to bust off everytime I bend them. TNA divas are more durable.

I would sort of like it, but it has been so long between sets and the momentum has died along with the quality control that I wouldn't be devastated if the figures stopped. If they continue I will continue to buy them.
Playmates would actually not be such a bad situation. Their Lucha Libre USA figures had such comparable sculpting and scale that if they made new figures (recycling the LLUSA molds to recoup lost money) they would blend pretty harmoniously with the Jakks figures.
