Good point. It would be nice to know who was signed one way or another. 5 more years should bring lots of awesome talent anyhow Yes it would be nice to know who is signed and that's where Mattel is a little weak and that's in creating some excitement and announcing who is signed and when we can expect their figure. Most of us would remember that Jeremy at Jakks always loved to make those announcements and create a lot of buzz. to be fair, though, when Jakks would announce a big signing, we'd get the figure in a few months. with Mattel, it takes almost a year,if not longer, to make it and fit it in a slot somewhere. I'm pretty sure that Bill said they don't really announce things specifically for this reason, cause people would be up in arms wondering where the figure is already.

I believe it was usually longer than a few months with Jakks once they announced a signing and I remember we knew the lineups for like a year ahead. At any rate Mattel could definitely improve in that area. Bill has hinted that Earthquake is likely so why not create some excitement around the line and just announce it rather than drop hints.

I'm undecided on this. At times I wish we would know all the lineups ahead of time so I could plan my buys but for the most part I enjoy the waiting/guessing game. It keeps me excited to log onto these boards hoping to find new info or new pictures. I feel just announcing it somewhat kills the excitement. Right now there are a lot of people on these boards buzzing and wondering when/if we will get him. If it was just announced, we would get that initial burst of excitement and then it would die down.

One figure I forgot to mention was DOUBLE J JEFF JARRETT HA HA. He is definitely a holy grail figure. The New Generation wouldn't be completed with out him.

My personal grail wrestling figures are Those Damn Dudley's The biggest slimeball in wrestling history IMO, Eric Bischoff The King Harley Race The Great Muta A PSYCHO And one of the most underrated and under appreciated wrestlers of all time Mr Barry Windham Don't know if Muta can be made due to his involvement with TNA and Bischoff, does he still have involvement/ownership in TNA ? But Sid, Barry, Race and Dudleyz hopefully will all become a reality sooner rather than later

Brutus Beefcake BEFORE ANYONE should be a must. No beefcake is a travesty. Brutus was one of the only mid card guys who was treated like a main eventer and worked with everyone (yeah ok so Hogan made it so but still, brutus got the loudest pops of any wrestler with NO theme music back in the day) in actual programs. He held gold, was in a tag team that DOMINATED the division (and should have never been broken up so soon). Should have been IC champ twice, etc etc...
Brutus Beefcake Kurt Angle (A/E version) Jesse Ventura Big John Studd Sensational Queen Sherri (basic) Chico Santana Jim Niedhart (1997 version)
there's a lot more I'd love but those are the must haves for my collection.
