Has anyone saw this signage posted at your Target before? Is it new? @shockwayne did your HOF inventory thread start this policy to be posted due to the HOF set?! I finally found the Hall of Fame Set (the boxes were very damaged.. Im a loose collector so it doesnt much matter, but Ive heard many complaints.) Case breakdown 7 3x SCSA 3x Warrior 1x Trish Stratus

Nice job you guys, you bugged Target into this!
They have had that sign for other stuff before, I believe. Don't think I've ever seen it in one of my local stores, though.

This has been around for years, but I've never seen it in any of my Targets.

I've seen it before at my store..... it's usually done on a store to store basis, and it more than likely has something to do with people going nuts with the HoF series. calling, asking and prodding to get it.
Even when its been up at my store, i have politely asked when there are things left in the stock room and i have everything thats on shelf. Because if they want my money, they will get the item.

I hope there's also a similar note in the stockroom reminding members to actually, you know, put collectibles out on the shelf so that people can buy them.
Seriously, why does it seem like these retail stores would rather do everything BUT simply STOCK THE ITEMS?
The "hunt" just isn't fun any more....

Looks like Target are bringing the signs back thanks to the HOF series.

Im 95% positive none of my Target stores ever stocked the Rocky Maivia exclusive. I just happened to find a nice worker one day who got one for me from the back. This Target was actually fully stocked with the one HOF case and E30 and E31 which was shocking because my local Target had 0 Elite figures stocked and only 3 Basics two days ago when I went in hoping they did the aisle reset and stocked the HOF series.

It's not new, necessarily. Target has always had this policy, it's just whether or not they enforce it. Usually they have it because a few bad eggs (Chumleys) are always bothering the employees

I remember signs like this at my local Target back in '95 when Star Wars Power of the Force was getting big.

Good for them. I've seen some real weirdos on Facebook groups. They throw fits because no matter what, if the figure isn't back there, they're going to complain. Or call management or yadda yadda. Maybe if more people where polite, this wouldn't have happened.

That's not new. When I was calling around to a few stores, one location told me they couldn't hold anything because they're not allowed. This was literally the same day that what? Posted the inventory thread, and I highly doubt there was that quick of a turn around.
No, they definitely had that policy before, in fact, I can remember hearing about it over on the fwoosh forums last year when the new marvel legends infinite series came out.

I'm glad I already got myn lol. I still think these bad boys should show up on their site at some point. Better grab Sarge and Trish though if you see them because you might not get the chance again it sounds like!
